Bu araştırmada, Çağdaş Türk Flüt Eserleri'nin Güzel Sanatlar ve Spor Liseleri ile Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalları'ndaki kullanım durumu, kullanılan eserler içinde karşılaşılan güçlükler ile bu güçlükleri çözmek amacıyla yazılmış örnek çalışma egzersizlerine yer verilmiştir. Araştırmada doküman analizi, anket ve görüşme yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Doküman analizi ile 2010 yılına kadar solo flüt için bestelenmiş 68 Çağdaş Türk Flüt Eserleri'ne ulaşılmıştır. Çağdaş Türk Flüt Eserleri'nin kullanım durumuna ilişkin veriler flüt eğitimcilerine uygulanan anket yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Flüt eğitimcilerinin görüşleri doğrultusunda karşılaşılan teknik ve müzikal güçlükler tespit edilmiş, bu güçlüklere yönelik örnek çalışma egzersizleri hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan bu egzersizler, Türkiye'de flüt eğitimi alanında tanınmış sanatçı ve eğitimcilerin görüşlerine sunulmuş ve önerileri alınarak oluşturulmuştur. Anketteki veriler, frekans dağılımları alınarak sayısal verilere dönüştürülmüştür. Görüşme verileri içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Her bir görüşme numaralandırılarak kodlanmıştır. Kodlama araştırmanın amacına ve görüşme sorularına uygun bir şekilde yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, Çağdaş Türk Flüt Eserleri'nin çoğunun Güzel Sanatlar ve Spor Liseleri ile Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalları'ndaki flüt eğitimcileri tarafından tanınmadığı, kullanılmadığı ve hakkında bilgi sahibi olunmadığı, ayrıca flüt eğitimcilerinin bazı eserleri öğrencilere çalıştırırken teknik ve müzikal güçlüklerle karşılaştıkları tespit edilmiştir. Sözkonusu kurumlarda Çağdaş Türk Flüt Eserleri'ni çalışan öğrencilerin flüte karşı ilgilerinin artması, kendi kültürlerine ait ezgileri daha zevkle çalışması, Türk müziğinin makamsal ve ritmik yapılarına karşı farkındalık düzeyinin gelişmesi gerektiği bu araştırma sonuçlardan biridir. Güzel Sanatlar ve Spor Liseleri ile Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalları'nda Çağdaş Türk Flüt Eserleri çalıştırılırken karşılaşılan güçlükleri çözmek amacıyla araştırmada geliştirilen çalışma egzersizleri ile eserlerin çalımının daha kolay olacağı düşünülmekte ve eğitimcilerin bu egzersizleri çalışma dağarcıklarına eklemeleri önerilmektedir, In this study, the state of the use of Contemporary Turkish Flute Works at Fine Arts and Sports High Schools and at Departments of Music Education, the difficulties encountered regarding the works used and sample practice exercises written to resolve these difficulties are presented. Document analysis, questionnaire and interview techniques were used in the study. A total of 68 Contemporary Turkish Flute Works that have been composed until 2010 in for which the flute performed as the soloist were reached through document analysis. The data regarding the state of use of Contemporary Turkish Flute Works were obtained through the questionnaire given to flute teachers. The technical and musical difficulties encountered regarding the works were determined upon the views of flute teachers and sample practice exercises were prepared to solve these difficulties. The prepared exercises were submitted to the opinion of reputable performer-educators and educators in the area of flute education in Turkey and formed by taking their suggestions. The data obtained through the questionnaires were transformed into numerical data and their frequency distributions were calculated. The interview data was analyzed through content analysis. Each interview was numbered and coded. The coding process was carried out in accordance with the aim of the study and the interview questions. Based on the findings of this study, it was determined that most of the Contemporary Turkish Flute Works were not known and used by flute teachers of Fine Arts and Sports High Schools and Departments of Music Education and those teachers did not have any knowledge regarding the aforementioned flute works; furthermore, flute teachers encountered certain technical and musical difficulties while having the students practice these works. In institutions in question, one of the outcomes of the study was that practising was that practising Contemporary Turkish Flute Works caused a rise in the students? interest towards the flute, they practised melodies belonging to their culture with more pleasure and their level of awareness concerning the modal and rhythmic structures of Turkish music must be increased. It is thought that playing the works of Contemporary Turkish Flute in Fine Arts and Sports High Schools and Departments of Music Education will be easier through the practice exercises that were used in the study to solve the difficulties while training on these works and it is suggested that teachers could add these exercises to their repertoires

The data of the study was collected through a questionnaire administered to flute teachers. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the first three flute works that were most frequently performed by flute teachers were analyzed based on the analysis method stated in the book by Aydiner (2009) entitled "Makamsal Yapidaki 10 Piyano Eserinin Muziksel Analizleri ve Teknik Guluklerine Yonelik Alistirma Ornekleri".
