Abstract: A new ointment based on the mineral bischofit exhibits a more pronounced antiinflammatory effect on the models of inflammation induced by carrageenin, histamine, and serotonin in rats in comparison to the reference ointment (vulnuzan). Bischofit ointment stimulates phagocyte activity of neutrophils, accelerates the healing and cleaning of infected skin wounds, and produces bacteriostatic action.
