The present study investigates the chemical composition of seeds from Foeniculum vulgare (fennel), Trigonella foenumgraecum (fenugreek), and Cuminum cyminum (cumin) to assess their suitability as food supplements for enhancing milk production in cows. The dry matter, ash content, total nitrogen, total carbon, protein and fiber levels were analyzed to provide comprehensive insights into the nutritional value of these seeds. The experiments in this study were all conducted in triplicate. Results were defined as mean values ± standard deviations. The results are part of a larger project and these findings are integral to the broader project, which aims to develop optimized dietary supplements for dairy cattle. Considering the essential role of nutrition in dairy cattle health and milk production, the identified nutritional components in these seeds hold promise for incorporating them into cattle diets. The growth rate and productive performance of animals depends on various factors among which the feeding system is one of the most important factors. The nutritional needs of animals on organic farms can be covered through three sources: grazing, food produced within the own holding and the purchase of additional feed. The purpose of the work is to follow the effect of sheep and goat feeding technologies through the installation according to the requirements of ecological agriculture of cultivated pastures, which can be used both for animal grazing and for obtaining fodder, either dry or fermented. A maximum production of fodder obtained in one's own holding must be one of the main objectives of the breeder, so the selected crops must be determined according to the real needs of the holding. To achieve these goals, farmers who practice organic farming rely on recognized agricultural practices, such as maintaining the welfare and health of the animal herd through free-range systems and modern knowledge, such as monitoring nutrient levels to track the optimal growth of animals at different stages of development. This paper focuses on the dynamic of milk protein in cows and sheep and explores the factors that influence milk protein content. Milk protein plays a crucial role in determining the quantity and quality of milk products, and therefore, various studies have been carried out to investigate the factors that influence milk protein content. To achieve this, we plan to monitor several farms raising different breeds of cows and sheep over a period of time to determine the changes of protein content. The breeds of cows that will be monitored include Holstein, Brown, and Romanian Spotted breeds. While the breeds of sheep that will be monitored have not yet been determined. Previous research has shown that optimizing the nutrition and management of cows and sheep can increase milk protein content. However, further research is necessary to better understand the complex dynamic of milk protein in both species and to develop best practices for improving milk production and quality. The aim of the research undertaken was to highlight that emission reductions can be made available to producers in the steer farming sector and the adoption of current best practices and technologies for the rearing and health of animals, feed rations can be a tool that would help the dragline sector reduce greenhouse gases, and was realized on the Moara Domneasca farm on a flock of 29 dairy cows at different stages of Montbeliarde's lactation between January 2021 and September 2021. Daily milk production was established per lactation cycle, within the lactation cycle of 3 distinct stages and the establishment of two seasons, summer and winter. The influence of feed strategies applied on milk production, manure chemical composition and CH4 and CO2 emissions were analyzed. The milk production of cows was not influenced by the addition of vegetable oils, ranging between 22.04 l / head in the ascending phase of lactation, 19.86-20.96 l / head in the plateau phase and 19.45 l / head in the descending phase of lactation. The methane emission from enteric fermentation shows the highest values for variants 4 and 3, when 0.2 l/head/day of rapeseed oil were administered in each variant, and in version 4, 0.1 l/head/day of sunflower oil was also administered (methane emissions are 1.41 kg CH4/year and 1.39 kg CH4/year, respectively). The lowest emissions are recorded for nutrition variant 5 (in which equal doses, sunflower oil and rapeseed oil were administered: 0.1 l l/head/day). Also, the trend of CO2 equivalent emissions closely follows the line of CH4 emissions from enteric fermentation, being directly dependent. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The dairy production of the cows varied in the management of green feed rations between 21.97 L/head in the upward stage of lactation and 20.54 L/head in the plateau phase and in winter succulent rations, milk production was 21.29 L/head in the ascending phase, 19.93-20.27 L/head in the plateau phase and 18.56 L/head in the ascending phase. The methane emission from enteric fermentation has the highest values for the variants 6 and 4, which contains rots (sunflower and soybean), maize, and wheat bran and the lowest emissions are recorded for the ration variant 1 which is rich in green fodder. The objective of this research was to evaluate the correlation between the conformation traits and milk production at Holstein cows in Romania. It is well known the fact that milk production is influenced by many factors like: management, genetics, nutrition, season etc. But this study wants to reveal if the milk production is correlated with the conformation traits and how they influence it. In the study were taken farms from three different areas of Romania, East, South and West, also were analyzed farms of different size (small, medium and big). The animals that took part at the study were at first, second or third lactation. For all the cows were appreciated a number of 22 characters, characters that are separated in five different groups: dairy capacity, dairy character, rump, feet & legs and mammary. All the classified animals were between 20-120 days in lactation. To avoid possible inconclusive conclusion, in the study were compared cows from same area, farm dimension and number of lactation. The concept of "precision livestock farming" represents the optimization of the contribution of each animal to the integrated economy of the farm. During more than three decades of applied research, precision zootechnics has gone through several stages, namely from process automation, developed to reduce human labor, to focusing attention on monitoring animal needs (health, well-being). All information collected at the farm level has the role of supporting the farmer in making optimal and fast decisions, in accordance with the animal's condition and the efficiency of the farm. Sensor technologies are being used to monitor the production and physiological condition of the animals, thereby contributing to animal welfare, animal health and food safety. Farm management is assisted by sensor systems collecting information about milk production, reproduction and animal health status. The paper aims to carry out an external analysis of Romania's proposal to regulate the regulatory framework in the field of milk production and processing, to establish the way of marketing of dairy products, to increase consumer confidence in domestic dairy products, to eliminate falsified products from the market dairy products, to facilitate the identification of authentic products by consumers and, last but not least, to the increase in milk production due to all the measures mentioned. The experiments followed the increase of nitrogen from a source inorganic (urea) used in feeding cows and its effect on milk production and milk quality. The OPTIGEN product is used in proportions between 1 and 3% of fodder for cows in lactation, which means quantities of urea between 60 and 180 g/head/day, the inorganic total crude protein weight source intake of cows varied between 10 and 20%. The quantitative determination of milk production and its qualitative analysis have revealed very little differences both between batches and between determinations from the same batch, which after processing the statistical differences proved insignificant. These results demonstrate that inorganic nitrogen in the OPTIGEN product can be harnessed properly by the lactating cows, also causing nutrition specialists to find solutions allowing both increasing the weight ratio of the inorganic source, and improving the milk production and quality parameters.
