Abstract

The article presents an abstract of the research paper "NMDA and AMPA Receptor Modification After Training Depends on the Learning Task." The findings of the study conducted on rats suggest that the involvement of both ionotropic glutamatergic receptors in memory consolidation depends on the nature of the task. The paper will be presented in the joint meeting of the International Society for Neurochemistry and the European Society of Neurochemistry that will be held in Berlin, Germany in August 1999.
