The treatment of long-term non-healing wounds in the conditions of purulent surgery departments, widely uses solutions of chemotherapeutic and antiseptic agents. The most common are the solutions of 3–6 % hydrogen peroxide and solutions of 2–10 % sodium chloride. As a rule, solutions of these drugs are used to treat non-healing, particularly, purulent wounds, bedsores and trophic ulcers. Therefore, solutions are injected into the wound area repeatedly in the form of course therapy. The findings show that the mechanism of action of these drugs and the effect of treating long-term non-healing wounds is largely determined by such physical and chemical factors of their local interaction as concentration of the main ingredients, osmotic, alkaline activity and local temperature. The findings point out the leading role of the local temperature and the dependence of the local effect on the concentration. They describe the essence of the innovative method of treatment.

Currently, there is a significant increase in the prevalence of obesity among children and adolescents of the world population. Overweight and obesity are a global epidemic of humanity. In economically developed countries, including Russia, on average, every third inhabitant has a weight that exceeds the maximum allowed. Russia ranks 15th in the world in the prevalence of overweight and obesity among children and adolescents. Obesity is now considered as a chronic, relapsing disease associated with the development of a number of diseases that reduce life expectancy and reduce its quality. An important factor in demonstrating the urgency of the problem of child and adolescent obesity is its prognostically adverse effect on obesity in adulthood. The lack of targeted detection of overweight and obesity in children and adolescents in Russia accounts for its late diagnosis specialists. Complications of obesity affect the cardio vascular, reproductive, respiratory, nervous system, digestive organs, musculoskeletal system. In connection with the rise of obesity than the early detection of issues and preventive measures to prevent its further progression. Obesity in the early diagnosis and early treatment is a reversible condition. Important role in the treatment of obesity play a non-drug methods - diet, exercise stress, a variety of physical therapy, taking into account individual tolerance and comorbidity. Physiotherapy treatments have not only symptomatic but also the pathogenic effects, eliminating the primary metabolic and neuroendocrine disorders.

Objective: To study the effectiveness of the biological feedback (BOS) method in the rehabilitation of patients with cerebral circulation disorders. Materials and methods: 555 patients with chronic cerebral ischemia were examined. All the patients were diagnosed with problems with movement coordination in vertical position. If necessary, the patients received standard conservative therapy. In addition to it, a method for increasing physical activity based on the BOS method was used. A stabilometric examination was carried out on Trust-M equipment. Patient 10m walking time was evaluated. The patients’ quality of life was assessed on a visual analogue scale (VAS). Body mass index (BMI) was calculated based on the measurement of patient height and weight. Results: Before the start of the treatment, there is a tendency of a decrease in the average speed of movement in BOS with age. The average speed of movement in women is lower than that in men. With age, the maximum horizontal speed of movement also decreases. After the treatment, the speed of movement in men decreased in all age groups, and in women, the speed increased in groups older than 60 years. In all age groups, women had a larger increase in the rate of movement. Before the treatment, men spent less time than women on performing a walking test of 10 m. After the treatment, the test time decreases only in the group of men of 61 years and older, and in women — in the group of 51 years and older. The original quality of life of men, measured by the VAS scale, is higher than that of women. These diff erences become unreliable starting from the third BOS session. As a result of the treatment, the energy spent on maintaining the vertical position of the body in the group of persons up to 50 years is reduced. The correlations of mean force between the BMI and the energy spent on maintaining the vertical body position and upright posture retention were obtained. In persons under 50 years of age, the correlation coeffi cient in men is signifi cantly greater than in women. The correlation coeffi cient tends to decrease with age. Conclusion: It has been demonstrated that BOS therapy can have a positive eff ect on patients with cerebrovascular diseases (the increased speed of movement and reduced energy consumption on keeping the body in an upright position). The intensity of the eff ect depends on gender and age.

Introduction . In almost all diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, the inflammatory process plays an important pathogenetic role and affects the course of the disease and the determination of treatment tactics. The most physiological way to prevent and treat inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, of course, is dietary nutrition. Purpose : To study the anti- inflammatory effect of a specialized product specialized therapeutic and dietary prophylaxis nutrition «Vegetable soup with oatmeal herbs» based on a study of clinical and laboratory parameters and dynamics of inflammatory markers. Materials and methods . An open single-center prospective observational study was conducted in parallel groups. The main group and the comparison group were 14 and 10 patients with gastrointestinal diseases, respectively. Only patients of the main group received a specialized product «Vegetable Soup with herbs and oatmeal». All participants were assessed the dynamics of clinical blood analysis indicators (hemoglobin, white blood cells, red blood cells, leukocyte formula indicators) and the dynamics of proteinogram indicators (total protein and protein fractions-albumins and globulins) and C-reactive protein (CRP). Results . The anti-inflammatory effect after administration of the specialized product occurs in 14 days and is expressed in a reliable reduction of leukocytosis, blood sedimentation rate (BSR), CRP. After 2 months after the start of the product intake, the BSR values decreased significantly by 35%, the CRP by 51% from the baseline and the leukocyte content decreased by 14.5%. Against the background of a dietotherapy in 14 days levels α 1- глобулина , α 2- глобулина and γ -globulin began to decrease, and in 2 months level a1-globulins decreased by 40% of initial level to the reference values. The level of α 2-globulins and γ -globulin also decreased significantly, while the albumin concentration in the blood increased significantly. In the comparison group, changes in these parameters did not reach a reliable degree of significance. Conclusions : the specialized product «Vegetable Soup with herbs and oatmeal» has an anti-inflammatory effect, characterized by a decrease in anti-inflammatory laboratory parameters, which manifests itself after 14 days of administration, can be recommended for inclusion in the diets of patients with gastrointestinal diseases during exacerbation and during remissions as well.

The aim of the study is to study the association of vitamin D and testosterone levels in railway workers in the presence of concomitant risk factors: smoking and abdominal obesity.Materials and methods. A retrospective analysis of the medical records of patients with inpatient profi le (form 003/s) for the period from 01.01.2016 to 31.12.2018, treated in the Scientifi c Advisory Center /SAC/ N «Russian Railways», Moscow. Among these medical records were randomly selected 60? of these, 30 were without signs of central obesity and 30 were with signs of central obesity. The criterion for central obesity were waist circumference of 102 cm or more. The results of biochemical studies, plasma content of free testosterone and vitamin D, as well as indications of whether the patient smokes or not were writt en out. The mean age was 45,3±9.0 years; body mass index (BMI) was 38,1±7.4 kg/m2. Results. Th e presence of abdominal obesity and Smoking were factors that were independently or in combination associated (pConclusion: Th e simultaneous reduction of vitamin D and testosterone levels, the most typical for smokers and for those with signs of abdominal obesity, requires more att ention fr om endocrinologists.

Social factors, as well as health have a direct impact on the indicator of quality of life. Since the efficiency of the medical service affects the quality of life of patients, the physician must take into account social factors in their work. Quality of life in dentistry based on filling special questionnaires. The most acceptable and commonly used is the OHIP-14 questionnaire. In the literature there are few studies devoted to the study of quality of life of patients dental surgical and social characteristics, and in our country is completely absent.

Aim. To assess the prevalence of the main cardiovascular risk factors (RF) and their concomitance in workers of highly harmful professions. Material and methods. In the study, men of dangerous professions participated, at the age 20-60 y.o.: 96 firefighters-rescuers, admitted to Russian centre of Catastrophe medicine (“Defense”, Moscow); 97 firefighters-rescuers at the central airmobile detachment “Centrospas” (Zhukovsky, Moscow region), 151 commando units of interior military forces of the Ministry of Internal affairs (Central regions of RF). Results. High prevalence of risk factors of CVD revealed: overweight and obesity — 40,7%, smoking — 47%. The relation found for lean glucose and cholesterol levels. Smokers have 37% decrease of serum iron comparing to non-smokers. Smoking also does impact transaminase level: AST increase by 31%, ALT by 46%, alkaline phosphatase by 19%, LDH by 19%. Smokers have alpha-amylase increase by 16% comparing to non-smokers. Also smokers have increased urea by 8% and creatinine by 15%. Non-smokers of any age have these parameters in normal range. Smokers have age-related changes more prominent, and in any age glucose and cholesterol levels are higher than in non-smokers. Conclusion. Smoking increases CVD risk from the point of view of the main biochemical markers of blood. These changes can be treated as an inset of protein metabolism disorders related to smoking.

One of the main tasks of the dental service is the maximum coverage of sanitation and preventive inspections of the population. National Population Census (2010) and the national epidemiological survey of dental population (2007-2008) showed 100% prevalence of dental caries in persons over 65 years, and nearly a third of the population (26,3%) live in the Russian countryside. To solve the problem of providing dental care to residents of remote areas where it is absent, organized a mobile dental office.

Background: obesity in children and adolescents became one of the most globally challenging medical prob- lems over the past decades. Method: School-age children and adolescents from the Moscow's schools were examined. Height and weight data were obtained from screening examination records found in school medical charts. BMI (body mass index) was calculated. Derived data was analyzed according to the World Health Organization growth charts, for gender and age. Results: We demonstrated that in Moscow students aged 5 to 16 years old, obesity occurs mostly in the prepuberty period: boys 10-13, and girls 9-10. At the same time obesity prevalence is significantly higher in male adolescents than in female. In older groups decline in obesity prevalence provides for decrease in overweight prevalence. Obesity in specific groups with its maximum prevalence shows unfavorable features due to the predominance of central obesity indices both in boys and in girls. The most significant growth registered in thickness of abdominal and subscupular skinfolds (ASF and SSF, respectively) which was found in boys (4.3 and 4 times greater). In males abdominal obesity prevails, whereas in fe- males, distribution of subcutaneous adipose tissue is more even. Conclusion: The value of ASF and SSF as a tool for car- diovascular pathology risk factors assessment in urban students ages 9-13 was confirmed by correlative analysis. These parameters have the strongest correlation with all the others evalu-ated in this investigation. Waist-to-hip ratio didn't show any significance in assessment of obesity in persons of prepuberty age.

With the discovery of the mechanism of action of aspirin, scientists began to develop new strategies for treating diseases that focused on controlling inflammation. Thus, host-modulating therapies emerged for the management of periodontal disease through the control of inflammation.
