Objective: To investigate the effects of “Yingwei Fang” on nitric oxide synthase (eNOS), endothelin-converting enzyme (ECE) and homocysteine (Hey) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: 39 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus with different syndromes were observed, including 14 cases of Yin deficiency heat, 10 cases of Qi and Yin deficiency and 15 cases of Yin and Yang deficiency. All patients took “Yingwei Fang” capsules orally, 5 capsules per time, 3 times a day. At the same time, they were combined with conventional treatment such as dialectical TCM dialectical theory of treatment and hypoglycemia. The changes of eNOS, ECE and Hcy were measured after 150 days of treatment and compared with those before treatment. Objective: To investigate the effect of lowering sugar and preventing deafness prescription on blood glucose in animal models of diabetic deafness. Methods: Fifty Wistar rats were randomly selected from 40 rats to establish the animal model of experimental diabetic deafness by intraperitoneal injection of 55mg/kg streptozotocin (STZ). The remaining 10 rats were normal control group (group A), and after modeling, they were randomly divided into model control group (group B), low-concentration group (group C) and high-concentration group (group D) of the suspension of the formula for lowering sugar and preventing deafness, metformin control group (group E). Group A was fed the normal diet and given the same dose of normal saline as the other groups, group B was given the same dose of normal saline as the other groups, and the metformin groups in groups C, D and E were given 3.3g/kg.d, 30g/kg.d and 0.3mg/kg.d of hypoglycemic and anti-hearing suspension and metformin aqueous solution, respectively. The administration period was 30 days. Results: Compared with normal control group, fasting blood glucose in model control group was increased, the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05), and the indexes of each dose group of Jiangtang Fang Deaf Formula were not statistically significant compared with the metformin control group (P BBB>05). Conclusion: Jiangtang Fang Deafness Decoction can improve the blood glucose of diabetic deafness animal models.

Objective: To investigate the changes of ankle-brachial index (ABI) and peak velocity of dorsal foot artery in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with lower extremity vascular disease treated with Yingweifang. Methods: 36 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus with lower extremity vascular disease were observed, including 13 cases of Yin deficiency and hot, 9 cases of qi and Yin deficiency and 14 cases of Yin and Yang deficiency. Objective: To observe the changes of parathyroid hormone and osteocalcin in diabetic patients with different syndromes. Methods: The changes of parathyroid hormone (I-PTH) and osteocalcin (BGP) in 39 patients (50 ears) with different types of diabetes mellitus and deafness were detected. The control group was 20 normal people. Results: The level of I-PTH in diabetic patients with deafness had no significant change compared with the normal control group (P >0.05), but the level of I-PTH in diabetic patients with deafness had significant change (P>0.05). Objective: To explore the comparison of innovative new techniques and traditional endoscopic treatment of maxillary cysts. Methods: 32 cases of maxillary bone cyst patients were divided into two groups, 17 cases in the treatment group received innovative new technology in the treatment of maxillary bone cyst. 15 cases in the control group received nasal passages open window under traditional nasal endoscope in treatment. The cure rate, average hospitalization days, the average hospitalization expenses, postoperative complications and postoperative discomfort, satisfactory rate were observed and compared, respectively. Results: The patients of treatment group can be treated without hospitalization. While in the control group average hospitalization expenses, postoperative complications, postoperative discomfort, patient satisfaction were not as good as those of treatment group. Conclusion: It was more prominent of safety, effective rate and satisfaction in the treatment group than in the control group.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic systemic disease characterized by hyperglycemia, with various pathogenic mechanisms. From absolute or relative insulin deficiency, patients with DM often demonstrate various levels of metabolic disorders. Major clinical manifestations of DM include metabolic disorders, vascular lesions, circulatory disturbances and neurologic complications. Along with advances in DM research, reports of DM related tinnitus and hearing impairment have increased continuously. Research on DM related auditory system dysfunction has focused on cochlear microcirculation, cellular homeostasis, genetics and aging. Cochlear microcirculation plays an important role in cochlear physiology and its disorders are associated with many inner ear diseases. Ischemia and subsequent reperfusion seen in cochlear microcirculation disorders are important factors in hearing damage. Understanding cochlear microcirculation and structural as well as functional changes in DM patients with hearing loss and their causal factors will help reveal pathogenic mechanisms in diabetic hearing loss and provide new ideas in developing interventions and preventing damages caused by diabetes.

Objective: To observe the curative effect of maxillary bone cyst by maxillary sinus cyst drug combination, it provide innovative approach for non-surgical treatment of maxillary bone cyst. Methods: 12 patients with maxillary sinus cyst were selected, all cases were confirmed by the jaw of surface fault CT or MRI examination, disinfection of double flank cheek skin and oral vestibular mucosa, after local anesthesia or surface anesthesia all patients with nasal endoscopic examination of the nasal passages, were punctured into maxillary sinus cyst from inferior nasal meatus, the needle core was removed, the cyst fluid was taken out by cannula, then through cannula place the right amount of maxillary sinus cyst drug composition were injected. The bases were iodine and dexamethasone solution with 2:1 injection (i.e., take out 2 ml cyst fluid, inject of 1 ml drugs, and so on). As routine is not easy to puncture biopsy in place of the cyst, image guided puncture was choosen. Results: 12 patients with maxillary sinus cyst came back to the hospital for a check of sinus CT after treatment of 1 to 3 months, the results are excellent, and 1 to 2 years follow-up were carried on, the follow-up of 11 cases, 1 case was lost of follow-up. During follow-up of patients, before treatment with clinical symptoms caused by maxillary sinus cyst, symptoms disappeared after treatment, the sinus CT showed cyst disappear significantly. Conclusion: The curative effect of maxillary bone cyst by maxillary sinus cyst drug combination is definite, it is landmark in the non-surgical treatment for maxillary bone cyst.

Objective: To study effect of JiangTangFangLong prescription on Serum hypersensitive c-reactive protein(hs-CRP), Ankle arm index(ABI) in patients with different syndrome types of diabetes deafness. Method: The change of hs-CRP and ABI was tested before and after treatment in 42 cases (84 ears) of different syndrome types of diabetes deafness treated with JiangTangFangLong prescription. Compared with 40 normal people. Result: Different syndrome patients before treatment compared with normal, hs-CRP increased significantly (P0.05). Objective: To observe the influence of Panax Notoginseng Saponins and tripterygium glycosides on the TNF, IL-6, PAI-1 level in CIA rat peripheral blood and the MCP-1 expression in myocardium. Methods: randomly dividing the successfully copied CIA rats into model, TG(10mg/Kg.d), PNS(200mg/Kg.d)+TG(10mg/Kg.d), MTX(1.6mg/Kg.w) group and Control group was set. Drawing blood after a six-week administration, opening the chest to take out the heart. The liquid phase protein chip technology was used to detect the content of serum TNF, IL-6, PAI-1, and immunohistochemical method to detect the myocardial MCP-1 protein expression. Results: Compared with the control group, the rat serum TNF, IL-6, PAI-1 level in CIA model group is obviously increased, the myocardial MCP-1 protein expression is significantly up-regulated, TG and PNS can obviously reduce the TNF, IL-6, PAI-1 level in serum, improve the pathological state of myocardium, and down-regulate the expression of MCP-1 in myocardium, and its effect is significantly better than that of TG and MTX group. Conclusions: the effective components of Chinese herbal medicine TG combined with PNS has a significant role in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular injury, its mechanism may be related to reducing serum TNF, IL-6, PAI-1 and MCP-1 expression in myocardium to exert anti-inflammatory effect.

Methods: With MS Excel, SPSS, Cytoscape software, we took MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) word frequency analysis, clustering analysis, co-word network graph of PubMed papers. Results: By MeSH of 8231 papers analyzed, it shows that the current Ventricular Remodeling research hotspots had focused on "Myocardial Infarction, Heart Failure, Myocardium, Ventricular Dysfunction, Left, Ventricular Function, Left, Heart Ventricles", etc, it also suggests that the most importance of which was Myocardial Infarction. Conclusion: With multi-angle analysis of bibliometrics, we understand the outline of research hotspots about Ventricular Remodeling. It is helpful and time saving for the researcher or doctor to understand the research hotspots in Ventricular Remodeling.

ObjectiveTo study the influence of Jiang Tang Fang Long formula on insulin production and function in an animal model of diabetic hearing loss.MethodsWistar rats (n=60) were randomly divided into 6 groups (10 in each) to receive no treatment (the normal control, Group A), or to receive intra-peritoneal 55 mg/kg streptozotocin with (Groups C, D and E) or without (Group B) subsequent Jiang Tang Fang Long formula treatment at various doses or Yu Long Wan treatment (Group F). After 60 days, fasting blood glucose (FBG), body weight (BW) and fasting insulin (FINS) were recorded and the HOMA-IR and HOMA-β calculated. Insulin expression in pancreatic tissues was measured by radioimmunoassay.ResultsCompared with animals that received streptozotocin without rescue treatment (Group B), animals that received higher doses of Jiang Tang Fang Long formula(Groups D and E) showed improved indices of diabetes manifestation (P< 0.05) and improved HOMA-β (P0.05).ConclusionOur results suggest that Jiang Tang Fang Long formula may improve pancreatic β-cells function which may explain its efficacy in treating diabetic hearing loss.
