Objetivo: Refletir acerca dos desafios e perspectivas relacionados à visita do Agente de Combate às Endemias frente a pandemia por Covid-19. Método: Revisão narrativa desenvolvida a partir de estudos em artigos publicados em periódicos nacionais à luz de vários autores, como também de documentos elaborados por órgãos oficiais. Resultados: Reflexão acerca dos desafios enfrentados pelos Agentes de Combate às Endemias (ACE) durante as visitas nas casas dos munícipes e as perspectivas de como executar um trabalho que impacte na diminuição das arboviroses durante vigência da pandemia. Normas técnicas sugerem trabalho diferenciado por parte dessa categoria, alterando o contexto da visita no intradomicílio, permitindo as ações pontuais de eliminação mecânica de criadouros ou tratamento dos depósitos mais restrito ao peridomicílio. Cenário impacta substancialmente na identificação e tratamento dos depósitos no imóvel, que poderá restar focos nas residências. Além disso, a comunidade tem demonstrado receio de receber o ACE com medo da contaminação pelo vírus, como também os profissionais pela exposição ao adentrar no peridomicílio para investigar criadouros e orientar comunidade. Conclusão: Urge que sejam pensadas outras estratégias de controle do Aedes que impactem positivamente junto às demais ações que já vem sendo realizadas na região. Objective: to reflect on the repercussions of COVID-19 for the life of the elderly. Method: This is a study with a reflective approach, based on publications obtained on the PubCovid platform and on official channels of the Ministry of Health, on the theme of Covid-19 related to the elderly. Results: The coronavirus pandemic had repercussions for the health, social, family and economic life of the elderly. This group has a series of specificities, which make them vulnerable to the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Final considerations: Considering the heterogeneity of this group, it is necessary to develop specific actions for each one of them, in order to guarantee the effectiveness of care.

Objective: To report the experiences of remote work and distance education of a group from PET-Saúde Interprofessionality in the pandemic. Method: This is an experience report of the activities developed by a group from PET-Health, linked to the State University of Feira de Santana (UEFS) and the Diabetic and Hypertensive Care Center (CADH), from March to June of 2020. Face-to-face activities at UEFS and CADH have been replaced by remote and distance learning activities. The methodology used involved the incorporation of virtual tools in: 1) Seminars and distance education courses; 2) Establishment of innovation strategies for health activities; 3) Construction of Health Education materials. Results: The virtual educational tools allowed the realization of an innovative work, focused on the initial and continuous training of students, teachers and health professionals. Changes in the flow of patients, production of booklets and articles were also developed. Conclusion: The use of virtual platforms and distance education favored the planning of actions, providing gain of individual and collective knowledge, allowing changes in the service, guidance of patients and scientific production

Objective: To describe the experience of a tutorial group from PET-Saúde Interprofessionality in the preparation of standard operating procedure (SOP) referring to risk screening for diabetic patients in a specialized center during the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: This is a proposal to standardize the screening procedure for diabetic patients to assist the health team in managing the flow of patients in the service. It is an experience report, prepared by a group from PET-Saúde / Interprofessionality that works at the Diabetic and Hypertensive Care Center (CADH), in the municipality of Feira de Santana-Ba. Results: The protocol describes the flow of screening for patients seen at the CADH, including recommendations for the isolation area in the initial screening, use of mandatory masks, clinical management of suspected cases and referral flow. Conclusion: The implementation of protocols can result in benefits for staff and users, enabling greater security and assistance in pandemic periods by Covid-19.

Objective: to present the challenges and strategies of care for diabetic patients in specialized services in the face of the Covid- 19 pandemic. Method: Study of theoretical reflection on the challenges and strategies of care for diabetic patients in the face of the pandemic. Such reflections arise from readings on the theme, having as guiding axes, the theoretical postulates about Covid-19 and specialized care for diabetic patients, in addition to our personal and professional experiences. Results: Diabetic patients do not seem to have an increased risk of becoming infected with Covid-19, however, once infected, they are more likely to evolve to a more severe form and greater risk of death. Good glycemic control can decrease the risk of complications in this group. Ensuring the care of diabetic patients, with minimal exposure to health services, has been one of the great challenges of health units, which needed to implement strategies, such as changes in the flow of care, risk screening for all patients, reduced consultations face-to-face, mandatory use of a mask, preparation of information booklets, remote guidance and monitoring of blood glucose levels, dispensing medications on schedule, among others. Conclusion: The complexity of the Covid-19 pandemic and the measures of social distance brought challenges in the care of diabetic patients, ranging from the repercussion of isolation in the daily lives of these individuals, the need for changes in the routine of services, in addition to exposure and conditions of health professionals.

Objective: To report the experience of PET-Health Interprofessionality, in adult patients monitoring with Diabetes and Hypertension, in a Reference Center, in the Feira de Santana – BA city. Method: This is an experience report, developed at the Specialized Center for Diabetic and Hypertensive Care (CADH), from april to november 2019, by fellows, preceptors and tutors, members of an extension project developed by the State University of Feira de Santana and the Health Secretary of the city. The data from the situational diagnosis, collected through observation of the service and conversation with the team, supported the planning of educational activities, aimed at the prevention of diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. Results: The service has 3000 registered patients, most of them adults, only 18 teenagers, 60% of whom are female. The educational actions carried out provided the socialization of knowledge and the exchange of experiences, between staff and users, contributing to improving the quality of life of these patients. Conclusion: With the experience of situational diagnosis, it was realized the importance of this center for patients and families, the need to work with interdisciplinarity with service professionals and the importance of regular educational activities, strengthening the prevention of cardiovascular and endocrine diseases and hypertension.

Objective: To describe the experience of implementing the Framingham risk score in Primary Care for the management of hypertensive and diabetic patients. Method: This is an experience report on the implementation of the Framingham score in Primary Health Care units in Feira de Santana-Bahia city, order to estimate the risk of developing coronary heart disease. The sample consisted of professionals from 89 Family Health Units, including doctors, nurses and institutional supporters. The professionals were divided into groups of 14 participants per meeting. The action was carried out at the Municipal Health Department, from January to June 2018. The teaching materials were made, including an information folder on the Framingham score and an instrument format to be applied in the units. Results: 06 supporters and 187 professionals participated, being 109 nurses and 78 doctors. The workshops took place in 14 meetings, lasting 4 hours, the activity being divided into theoretical and practical, with discussion of clinical cases and application of the score presented. Conclusion: The implementation of this tool allows the identification of more appropriate strategies for the management of hypertensive and diabetic patients, according to the risk, helping to define multidisciplinary approaches.
