Tuberculosis is an airborne disease caused by the bacterium mycobacterium tuberculosis, transmission occurs when a person inhales droplet nuclei containing mycobacterium tuberculosis, is spread from person to person through the air. The health cadres play an essential role for tuberculosis control and prevention. Therefore tuberculosis knowledge and skills among health cadres needs to be strengthened. Knowledge is a very important factor in shaping a person's actions, behaviors based on knowledge will last longer than those without it. This study aims to analyze and to prove the influence of education with montage learning methods in strengthening the role of health cadre in TB control and prevention. Used an pre experimental design and one group pre test and post test design with sampel of 20 people. Data collected using a questionnaires. Analysis used paired t-test with a significance level of 5% (α = 0,05). The result of the study provides that knowledge and skills of health cadres about TB control and prevention before intervention shows the lowest score of 58,75±14,59 and after intervention of 74,25±10,30. The results of the research used paired t-test showed that the cadres knowledge and skills about TB control and prevention rise after the montage learning methods, while the value of p value was 0,003 < 0,05.

The success of TB control is strongly influenced by the role and support of the family.Families who do not care, do not support treatment programs, tend to be ignorant, donot make efforts to prevent transmission in the care of family members with TB, and givenegative stigma against TB disease has a negative impact on the success of TB control.One of the efforts to build and increase the role of the family in TB control is to provideeducation on prevention of transmission in the care of family members with TB using theMontage method. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the montage learningmethod in increasing knowledge about control and prevention of transmission in thecare of family members with TB. This study used a quasi-experimental method withone group pre-post test design. We obtain 31 respondents with a purposive samplingtechnique. The intervention used is application of 3M art, namely folding, cutting andpasting pictures on paper that form pictorial stories. In this study, the average pretestvalue was 48.39 ± 5.536 and the posttest value was 73.23 ± 11.729, with a p-value of0.000, which means that there was a significant difference between the knowledgebefore and after the intervention. Therefore, the strategy of providing education withthe montage learning method needs to be integrated into the promotional program.

Background: A powerful earthquake in Yogyakarta, causing major damage and many deaths. Children with autism are more vulnerable and have a greater risk of earthquake because they are have an intellectual, social and verbal disability to safe life independently. Objective: This research discussed the influence of play therapy on learning of disaster mitigation for children with autism. Method: This research used qualitative descriptive design and consider a sample of 30 children with autism in SLB N Pembina Yogyakarta. Play therapy in this research use drawing and coloring methods, also watching video about disaster preparedness. Results: Play therapy could effectively be applied as earthquake mitigation lesson to children with autism in SLB N Pembina Yogyakarta. Before interventions, there were 2 children (7%) able to draw on actions when an earthquake occurred, and increased to 19 children (63,33%) after interventions. Conclusion: Play therapy could be effectively applied to children with autism as earthquake disaster mitigation showed by an increase of children’s drawing and coloring ability on actions when an earthquake occurred for as much as 56,33%. Indonesia lies on the ring of fire and this includes Yogyakarta province which had experienced some earthquakes. The earthquake that occurred in 2006 caused thousands of people died. Most of the survivors were elderly people and children. Children are a vulnerable group, especially those with special needs. School is the first reference to teach earthquake disaster preparedness to children. This research used observational descriptive design. Purposive sampling technique was used, and data was collected through observation sheet. Respondents were with autism in Special School of Negeri Pembina Yogyakarta (n=23). Storytelling and Simulation on Earthquake Disaster Preparedness gave positive influence towards the mitigation ability by children with special needs, especially those with autism. There were nine children with autism in the category of low IQ, six in the category of average IQ and eight children in the category of superior IQ. Before the storytelling was conducted, children’s ability and involvement in the simulation was 35% (8 children). Conversely, the children’s ability and involvement raised to 78% (18 children) after being given five times (5x) simulation and storytelling. Storytelling and simulation method were effective as training methods in earthquake disaster mitigation on children with autism. There was 43% increase of mitigation level before and after intervention.ABSTRAKDaerah di Indonesia merupakan ring of fire dan Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu daerah yang mengalami gempa bumi. Gempa yang terjadi pada tahun 2006 menimbulkan banyak korban, mayoritas adalah orang lanjut usia dan anak-anak. Anak-anak merupakan kelompok rentan terlebih anak dengan berkebutuhan khusus. Sekolah sebagai tempat rujukan pertama untuk memberikan edukasi siaga bencana terhadap anak-anak.Desain penelitian adalah deskriptif observasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampel sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dengan lembar observasi. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Responden yang mengikuti penelitian ini sebanyak 23 anak autis. Pemberian simulasi siaga bencana gempa bumi memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan mitigasi anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan autis. Anak autis dengan kategori IQ rendah 9 orang, IQ sedang 6 orang dan IQ tinggi 8 orang. Sebelum diberikan pembelajaran story telling, kemampuan dan keterlibatan anak dalam melakukan simulasi sebanyak 35% (8 anak) namun setelah diberikan pembelajaran dan simulasi sebanyak 5x, kemampuan dan keterlibatan anak meningkat sebanyak 78% (18 anak). Metode simulasi efektif sebagai pembelajaran mitigasi bencana gempa bumi pada anak autis. Peningkatan kemampuan mitigasi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pembelajaran sebanyak 43%.

Background: AMI is the leading cause of morbidity and disability among Indonesian population. In referrals centre hospital, in-hospital mortality of NSTEMI is equal or even exceeds STEMI, increased from 17% to 21% during 12 months. Prehospital delay is an important cause of increasing early and also late mortality in NSTEMI. Objective: We investigated factors associated with prolonged prehospital delay in patients with NSTEMI. Method: In this cross-sectional study design, data were analyzed by chi-square and one-way ANOVA using SPSS 20 and data were collected from 50 patients with NSTEMI using patient’s medical notes and semi-structured interviews. Patients were pain-free and hemodynamically stable at the time of interview. Data were collected on the time from the onset of chest pain to hospital admission. Results: Mean of prehospital delay times were 7,89±1,44 hours. The predictor were singularly significantly associated with prolonged prehospital delay were self medication and health care seeking pattern. Traditional healers had longest prehospital delay time (24,30±2,65hours). Most of the people in Java from various social strata still believe in traditional healers (dukun) to treat their disease. Conclusion: Health care providers can educate the public on NSTEMI to enable them recognize the signs and symptoms of NSTEMI correctly and realize the benefits of early treatment. Cardiac arrest is a major public health problem affecting thousands of individuals each year in both out-of-hospital and in-hospital setting. High quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provide return of spontaneous after cardiac arrest, but majority of nursing students feel unconfident to practice CPR. The aim of the study was to assess the effect of CPR training program on knowledge and practices of nursing students in Yogyakarta. The study design was quasi-experimental and one group pretest – posttest design. A questionnaire was applied to the students before CPR training, then the student were informed about adult CPR by the researchers and all of the students practice CPR on a Resusci-Anne manikin. One months after this training the same questionnaire and skills checklist of CPR were apllied. Sixty five students of nursing participated in this study. This study show CPR training significantly positive impact cognitive and skills performance in nursing students. While the average CPR knowledge score of these students was 44,43%, before CPR training, this average increased to 89,64% after CPR training and decreased to 77,54% after one month CPR training. Skill score of the students one month after the CPR skill training was 70,61%. Nursing students tend to forget theoretical and applied CPR training after one month. Hence there is a need for continuous CPR training and education and repeating the skills at regular intervals ever after they have graduated to ensure sustainability in the CPR skills.Keywords : cardiopulmonary resuscitation, bystander CPR, training ABSTRAKHenti jantung merupakan penyebab kematian utama pada kasus kegawatdaruratan kardiovaskuler, baik pada setting prehospital (OHCA) maupun intrahospital. RJP yang berkualitas dapat mengoptimalkan return of spontaneous circulation pada OHCA, tetapi banyak mahasiswa keperawatan tidak percaya diri dalam melakukan prosedur ini sehingga mereka membutuhkan pelatihan RJP, agar dapat berespon cepat, tanggap dan akurat dalam memberikan pertolongan pada korban OHCA. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh pelatihan RJP dewasa terhadap retensi pengetahuan dan ketrampilan RJP pada mahasiswa keperawatan di Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian quasi experimental dengan design one group pretest – posttest. Posttest diberikan dua kali, yaitu sesaat sesudah pelatihan dan sebulan sesudah pelatihan. Jumlah sampel yaitu 65 orang. Analisa data menggunakan pair t-test. Hasilnya, pelatihan RJP berpengaruh positif terhadap pengetahuan dan ketrampilan bystander RJP dengan p-value 0,000 ( pengetahuan 44,43%, rerata skor sesaat sesudah pelatihan 89,64% dan rerata skor sebulan sesudah pelatihan adalah 77,54%. Rata-rata skor ketrampilan sebelum pelatihan adalah 35,55%, rerata skor sesaat setelah pelatihan 91,80% dan rerata skor sebulan setelah pelatihan 70,61%. Penurunan retensi pengetahuan dan ketrampilan mahasiswa sebulan sesudah pelatihan RJP kemungkinan disebabkan karena mahasiswa kurang terpapar kasus pasien dengan henti jantung yang membutuhkan tindakan RJP.Kata Kunci: resusitasi jantung paru, pelatihan, bystander RJP

Pendahuluan : Stroke merupakan penyebab kematian tertinggi di Indonesia, dengan prosentase 21,1%. Deteksi dini stroke oleh individu berisiko tinggi beserta keluarga (layperson), dengan prehospital stroke scales merupakan konsep utama chain of survivals stroke. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mensintesis artikel-artikel tentang prehospital stroke scales yang dapat diajarkan pada individu berisiko tinggi beserta keluarga (layperson), agar individu berisiko tinggi beserta keluarga (layperson) terbekali dengan baik dan keberhasilan program terapi serta pengobatan dapat optimalMetode : Desain penelitian ini adalah literature review, yaitu menelaah hasil-hasil penelitian sebelumnya pada artikel yang telah terpublikasi. Penelusuran artikel dilakukan melalui PubMed, EBSCO, Science Direct dan Google Scholar. Kriteria inklusi meliputi a) publikasi artikel dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir 2010-2020, b) artikel menggunakan Bahasa Inggris dan memiliki fulltext, c) studi yang terdiri dari randomized control trial, cohort study dan qualitative study, sedangkan kriteria ekslusi meliputi artikel yang tidak memenuhi kriteria inklusi pada penelitian ini.Hasil : Hasil dari sintesis artikel yang telah ditemukan yaitu prehospital stroke scales dengan Cincinnati Prehospital Stroke Scale (CPSS), The Los Angeles Prehopsital Stroke Screen (LAPSS) dan juga Face Arm Speech Time (FAST) time dapat dikampanyekan dan diajarkan pada individu berisiko tinggi beserta keluarga (layperson) agar individu berisiko tinggi beserta keluarga (layperson) terbekali dengan baik dan keberhasilan program terapi.Kesimpulan : Pengobatan dapat optimal sehingga angka morbiditas dan mortalitas pasien stroke dalam diminimalkan.
