Introduction: Corona Virus Disease-19 (COVID-19) has spread to 34 provinces in Indonesia. Indonesia first confirmed the case of COVID-19 in March 2020. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has made the teaching and learning process shifted to distance teaching. This activity-limiting measure in response to curbing the spread of COVID-19 has caused an unprecedented change in human behavior around the world. One of the changes in human behavior is sleep. Sleep is a physiological process that is highly dependent on the environment and social and varies greatly with stress levels. This study aimed to know the characteristics of sleep quality of nursing students during pandemic Covid-19 in Bali. Methods: This study is a descriptive study using univariate analysis. The population in this study is approximately 1,500 nursing students. Sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling with 422 sample. Data collection tools in the form of questionnaires that are used is a sleep quality questionnaire from the Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Results: The results show that most of the nursing students’ age ranged from 15-25 (94.1%), female (79.1%) and currently undergoing Bachelor of Nursing education (68%) and students of Nursing in Bali mostly have poor sleep quality (97.4%). Conclusion: Students of Nursing reported to have poor sleep quality over the last month.

This service aims to make savings and loan cooperatives in the Welfare Environment easy to access bank credit through the implementation of a computer-based accounting information system in the process of preparing financial reports and this becomes a pilot model in developing financial statement applications for other types of cooperatives in the city of Mataram. This service method consists of: 1) the first stage where the creation of a computer application for managing the financial statements of savings and loan cooperatives. With this application, it will be easier for administrators to make cooperative financial reports. 2) the second stage, where computer application training for the management of cooperative financial reports. This assistance is carried out in one of the houses of the cooperative management in the Perumnas Welfare environment using their respective laptops and also the assistants visit one of the administrators in their respective homes to be given assistance. This assistance is carried out for a day with 9 cooperative managers from 9 RTs in the Welfare Environment. This mentoring activity went smoothly. All participants enthusiastically followed the event to the end. Participants also considered that this assistance was important and indispensable for cooperative management. Participants hope to be followed up by providing more assistance so that the management can apply the preparation of cooperative financial reports using excel.

Pre-service teachers’ (PST) beliefs and practices have been agreed as an initially vital basis to continue maintaining a qualified learning process. This article reviews the research on PSTs’ beliefs and practices concerning teaching and learning English as a foreign language (EFL) and the exploration of the complex relationship between EFL PSTs’ beliefs and practices. It encompasses a discussion about the nature of teachers’ beliefs, an overview of PSTs’ belief formation, and some previous studies on PSTs’ beliefs. The review of related literature summarizes the empirical studies on PSTs’ beliefs and practices from 2011 up to 2020, which reveal the diversity and similarity of the studies on EFL PSTs’ beliefs. The result obtained in this study depicts that PSTs’ beliefs about EFL teaching and learning are affected by prior language learning experiences, teacher education, and teaching practices. Besides, some constraints in the classroom setting can trigger the beliefs change covering time restriction, curriculum emphasis, students’ misbehavior, students’ competence, students’ motivation, or even PSTs’ motivation and confidence. Finally, when their tacit beliefs turn into explicit beliefs, PSTs can identify and assess their beliefs attributed to their classroom practices, from which EFL PST education can be informed to design better courses and prepare PSTs’ future careers. HIGHLIGHTS: EFL PSTs’ beliefs are acquired from many years of learning experiences they got from schools to teacher education, of which the condition has influenced what and how they learn to teach. Their beliefs, then, influence what they say and do in the classroom, which, in turn, shapes their beliefs. Some constraints in the classroom setting can trigger the beliefs changed: time restriction, curriculum emphasis, students’ misbehavior, students’ competence, students’ motivation, or even PSTs’ motivation and confidence.

Paying Zakah is compulsory for Muslims. However, it is still a vague issue among Indonesian Muslims. This study aims to an explore the zakah promotion videos in Youtube media to enhance Indonesian Muslims' awareness of zakah and analyzing users' interactions in this platform. This study was quantitatif using documantary approach with a content analysis approach to elaborate da'wah contents and Zakah outreach via social media. The study is in 6 months and analyzes contents and videos shared on YouTube with ten YouTube channels sample of population. The result found that the most popular channels that provide zakah outreach content is Al-Bahjah TV. While the most popular video is Panduan Zakah Fitrah (Guide to Zakah al-Fitr) by Yufid TV. The videos on the fiqh of zakah in non-zakah agency channels provide higher positive impacts (98%), both in the forms of talks and motion graphics.

Higher-order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is a well-known term that is nowadays being discussed among researchers, especially in education contexts. In this globalization era, developing students’ ability to think with HOTS becomes teachers’ challenging task to do. They are responsible to enrich their knowledge about HOTS and update findings and ideas of HOTS implementation in teaching. So, they will be able to implement HOTS in teaching they believe will be ideal and effective to develop students’ HOTS. This research aims to investigate teachers’ knowledge about HOTS and investigate how they implement their knowledge of HOTS in teaching reading classroom. This is a qualitative research with case study as the research design. The data were collected using in-depth interviews followed by observation. The participants of this research are three English teachers from a senior high school who teach different grades. The results of this research show that the teachers’ knowledge of HOTS is still low. They do not understand HOTS conceptually. However, their implementation of HOTS in teaching reading show that they implement HOTS to teach reading that enables students to activate their HOTS. They include the concept of effective HOTS teaching suggested by Fogarty (2009).

The purpose of the 2013 Curriculum which is regulated by the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 67 of 2013 is to prepare Indonesian people to have the ability to be faithful, productive, creative, innovative, affective and able to contribute to life. In processing values in the 2013 Curriculum, there are 3 (three) assessments such as assessment of students' attitudes, assessment of knowledge, assessment of skills, this is expected to form student character from an early age. However, in the application of the processing, there are several obstacles including some basic competencies that need to be inputted and this takes a long time, besides that the teacher's lack of understanding of IT becomes a challenge when the teacher wants to input data into the system. In the study, the authors used data collection methods such as observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature study. Meanwhile, to evaluate the value processing system using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with 4 parameters such as Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Attitude Toward using, Behavioral Intention To Use. This method results in showing users believe that the value processing information system with the 2013 curriculum can provide benefits and uses. indicates the user feels confident enough that the system being used is easier to use and operate. shows the great curiosity of the user to use the system. indicates that there is a desire to continue using the system and there is a desire to influence other users to use the system.

The research caused by lacking of students’ vocabulary mastery in English Subject. One of the methods for improving vocabulary is Spelling Bee game. The action research aims to measure the effectiveness of the use of the spelling bee game method in improving students' mastery of English vocabulary and to determine students' responses motivated towards the application of this game. The research uses classroom action research (CAR) caused by Arikunto Suharsimi at students’ fifth grade in SDIT Ya Bunayya Pujon. The research is done two cycle. In every cycle consist of three meeting with the activity: plan, action, observation, reflection. Pre-test and post-test are given in the form of vocabulary tests. Data obtained from the pre-test and post-test were analysis in a classical completeness with a minimum quality standard of 75. The results of the analysis show that in cycle 1 was an average score of 70.26 with a classical completeness of 47, 05%. Furthermore, the results of the study in cycle 2 getting a significant improvement in which the score obtained was an average of 82.91 with a classical completeness reaching 88.24%. An increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2 in the classical completeness obtained reaching 41.19%. While, the implementation of the method makes students pay more attention, active, ability and motivated in learning English. From these results it means that the application of the game Spelling Bee has an influence on improving students' mastery of English vocabulary. Based on the results of this study, the application of learning with the game Spelling Bee is recommended to teachers to create a pleasant atmosphere for students, especially young learner in learning English vocabulary.

Academic information systems are designed to manage academic-related data using computer technology. The quality of the information system helps provide satisfaction for the organization and increases competitiveness, providing added value to STMIK Widuri. To measure the success of a system can apply the success model of Delone and McLean. By testing the system using DeLone and McLean it is known that the STMIK Widuri academic information system as a whole has a good quality system and scores 81.63%.

This study is an educational research development. The resulting product is a PowerPoint media for learning speaking skills, especially in Intermediate Speaking. Issues discussed in this study is how to develop PowerPoint interactive media for communicating in Intermediate Speaking in Ikip Budi utomo Malang. The stage of development consists of 5 stages, namely a) needs analysis b) design phase, c) creation of the media, d) validation from the expert , e) the final product. These learning media is in validation by the expert from Ikip Budi Utomo Malang . This research use the question form to evaluate the quality of media response, lecturer and student response. The development of PowerPoint media for Intermediate Speaking skills are developed through analysis of learner’s needs. The results of this study indicate that the media is created using the Microsoft Office PowerPoint-based virtual media worthy of being used as a medium of learning conversation skills. The production quality is determined by the feasibility of media the feasibility aspect, learner’s needs and the uniqueness of design . From the results of a test run of the product stated that media PowerPoint to learning intermediate speaking skills worth used in class, in addition to that, this medium could be used for learners. The quality of final product PowerPoint media is known by conducting a test run of the product. Tests performed with two stages, namely (1) the validation from the expert media and design, (2) field trials to students of Ikip Budi Utomo in the third semester.

The State of Indonesia appears as a State of Law meaning that State power is exercised according to applicable laws so the law applies to all aspects of social life that lead to the creation of an objective of the law. As a consequence of the weakness of the law in the State of Indonesia there are still a large number of crimes that are developing, including the criminal acts of corruption as one of organized crimes. Not only have corruption crimes developed in Indonesia but also in other countries. As a result, in tackling the emergence of the criminal acts of corruption, it is necessary to have perpetrators cooperating as witnesses with law enforcement authorities in terms of revealing the main perpetrators and others so it has a major influence on the corruption case. Using the normative legal research method, this research examines the urgency of regulating witnesses of collaborating perpetrators in a the criminal act of corruption and the criminal sanctions against witnesses of collaborating perpetrators in criminal acts of corruption. The results show that in positive Indonesian law there are regulations regarding Justice Collaborator in Government Regulation No 71 Article 5 Paragraph (2) of 2000 regulating the rights and legal protection of every witness, criminal reporter / witness who reports. Whereas judges’ considerations in imposing criminal sanctions on justice collaborators in the criminal acts of corruption which are based on Law No. 20 of 2001 related to Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning Eradicating Corruption Crimes and is contained in the Supreme Court Circular No. 4 of 2011 in specific actions regarding Criminal Sanctions namely providing relief in other forms of protection.

Sejak pembelajaran kosa kata bagi mahasiswa berperan penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, para dosen dituntut agar dapat menggunakan metode dan media yang tepat. Salah satu media yang penting adalah computer yang dapat memberikan dan menyediakan banyak informasi yang diberikan internet. Mahasiswa perlu belajar kosakata tidak hanya menghafalnya tetapi juga dapat belajar sesuai dengan konteks. Komputer memberikan pembelajaran visual yang mahasiswa perlukan agar dapat menerima mata kuliah yang diajarkan dengan cara yang berbeda. Dalam artikel ini, penulis ingin membahas fungsi aplikasi multimedia, khususnya internet sebagai bagian dari media teknologi terkini yang dapat menarik mahasiswa belajar dan mengembangkan kosa kata dalam bahasa Inggris. Penggabungan teknologi yang modern sangatlah penting guna menopang proses pembelajaran di kelas. Teknologi berbasis informasi ini terdiri dari video, gambar, game, grafik, audio, dan lain-lain untuk mendukung kosa kata mahasiswa sehingga mereka dapat mengembangkan kosa katanya dengan lebih mudah di kelas.

Background Sleep is needed by the human body so that the performance of body remains optimal when the body is awake, especially during work. Informal workers often work without clear regulations, with inadequate equipment and poor work environment, and pay little attention to occupational health and safety factors. The existence of large work demands with unclear work system arrangements will certainly result in a mental workload in these workers. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between mental workload and sleep patterns of workers in the informal garment sector. MethodsA cross-sectional study involving 225 informal garment workers was conducted between December 2018 and May 2019. Data collection included respondents’ demographics, job characteristics, measurement of mental burden and disturbances in sleep patterns. The sleep pattern used the PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) instrument and the mental burden used the Rating Scale Mental Effort (RSME). A multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the data. ResultsThe mean sleep quality was 5.40 ± 2.54. Multiple linear regression test found that mental workload correlated significantly with sleep quality of workers (β=0.016, p=0.012).ConclusionThis study demonstrated that heavy mental workload decreases the quality of sleep in informal garment workers. A good work system management is required so that workers are assigned that portion of the task that is commensurate with their capacity.

This research explores the relation between the aspect of free will in the novel A Clockwork Orange to the social and cultural phenomena in the era of counterculture movement. The writer uses descriptive qualitative method to analyze the structural elements of the novel and relate them to the supporting data from external references. The objectives of the research which are presented as follows: 1) to describe the way the importance of free will affect the characters’ behavior in A Clockwork Orange, and 2) to reveal the way the importance of free will in this novel reflect the social condition during the era of counterculture movement. The writer also applies the genetic structuralism approach to focus the analysis on the element of free will and the way it relates to the elements of counterculture. The result of this research shows that there are several structural relations that connect both the aspect of free will in the novel and those in the era of counter-culture movement which consist of youth subculture, resistance against the state, and police brutality. The implication of this research is to promote the improvement of youth’s behavior and social awareness by the implementation of free will and safe environment, not by force or violence.

Lecturers must consider many things before implementing strategies in the learning process. This is because learning strategies also affect students’ learning outcomes. Once, low-achiever students can improve their competence because of the working strategies. Contrarily, high-achiever students may get decreased because of the worst strategies. From various strategies in the learning process, student grouping is a popular strategy which supports collaboration among students. Yet, the lecturer must be able to consider several things related to student grouping. The main consideration is “with whom” and “how” students should be grouped. "With whom" covers appropriate decision on grouping students homogeneously or heterogeneously. Whereas "how" is interpreted as how many students should be gathered in every group. The decision of both must be based on logical reasoning in accordance with the learning context. To answer these two aspects, the research team analyzed data which were previously collected by using observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation. This research was carried out throughout Grammar TOEFL learning process using NST TOEFL Explorer, in English Education Study Program of STKIP PGRI Pasuruan. The result confirmed that student grouping in this context was done more appropriately by grouping heterogeneous students with five members. This grouping strategy is able to show an improvement in students’ learning outcomes in grammar TOEFL mastery.

This research developed product of test instruments based computer -High Order Thinking (CBT-HOT) in intermediate reading courses in Ikip Budi Utomo Malang. Test instruments based computer -High Order Thinking (CBT-HOT) in intermediate reading courses are high-level test package that are provided online by using a website as a basis for students who access it, so it is suitable to campus vision that must use ICT technology. The product consists of five test packages compiled with high-level criteria according to Taxonomy Bloom , those are package A, B, C, D and E. The design of this research adapts from the Borg and Gall model with the following steps (1) need analysis, (2) planning, (3) product development, (4) expert validation, (5) product revisions and (6) product trials. The objectives of this study are: (1) to produce scientific articles published in reputable national journals; (2) to produce scientific article published in international scientific journals; (3) produce CBT-HOT based test computer products that will be certified. The average value on material validation showed good results, which the average score 2,81. The average value of media validation also shows good results, which is 2.86. The average value in test instruments is 2.87.

Body image distortion has been linked with mind, emotion, sensation and strongly related to size, and shape of individual performance. This research aimed to investigate the perception of body image for adolesscent in the second grade of senior high school in SMAN 1 Bogor. A qualitative design was used to conduct this research by using indepth interview with phenomenology approach. Six students, who were all women, consist of three students were overweight/obese and the other were lean. All of students were interviewed regarding their perception related three domain areas which were: body perception, perception of current body and efforts for achieving the ideal body composition shape. The findings indicated the three student who were overweigt/obese pointed out that they were happy and accepted with their performance but they were not better performing. The other of three student who were lean stated that they had many perception with their body image such as: thin, was not good looking,and unbalancing high and weight. Almost all of the students had a similar perception about their body image whether they were overweight/obese and lean. They were not unhappy with their performance, but they had the same opinion about ideal body shape.

Reformation brought many changes in public sectors in Indonesia, one of them is Military institution. Reformation required Military to become professional in every organizational aspects, including human resources as a part of resource that need to be manage strategically. Proficient and competent human resource will help organization reach its vision, missons, and strategic goals. One of the strategy to attract competent human resource is to design the recruitment and selection process in talent management corridor, where organization must identify factors which attracting a candidate to join into organization or simply called job pursuit intention. To find out what factors lead to job pursuit intention into military institution in Indonesia, data was collected using qualitative approach from middle-rank military officer. Their past experiences concerning motives/factors which lead them joined into military were explored. From analysis, it reveals that there are 5 factors which make them joined military; employer familiarity, subjective fit, hiring expectation, economic motive, and nationalism/patriotism motive.

The concept of welfare as a goal in the conventional economy turns a terminology that is controversial, because it can be defined by a lot of understandings. One of them is purely materialist understanding completely deny the spiritual connection, or perhaps with a slight allusion to the spiritual aspect. If welfare is defined by the materialistic and hedonistic concept, then the economics provide a portion of excellence in the fulfillment of self-interest and maximize wealth, physical pleasure, and satisfaction of lust. Islamic economic view of the overall well-being is based on Islamic teachings about life. This concept is very different from the concept of well-being in the conventional economy, because it is a holistic concept. Welfare are essential within the framework of the Shari’ah is not always realized by concentrating on efforts to maximize wealth and consumption; it requires both material and spiritual fulfillment of human needs that are closely intertwined, fight for a balance between individual and social interests, and actualize Maqasid ash-Shariah. Islamic social welfare function is a concept rooted in socio-economic thought of Al-Ghazali. He identified all problems, whether in the form masalih (utilities, benefits) and mafasid (disutility, damage) in improving social welfare. He also explained in more detail that sharia objectives is to improve the welfare of all human beings, which lies in the protection of the faith (al-din), soul (al-nafs), intellect (alaql), descent (al-nasl), and wealth (al-mal). Anything that ensure the protection of this fifth guarantee the public interest and is desirable.

The purpose of this article is to try to explain the benefits that can be obtained by learning the traditional knowledge of indigenous people around the world to overcome current perceptions and practices about the environment that has experienced serious degradation. Traditional Ecological Knowledge offers the appropriate tools to learn more the insights of “Sacred Balance”. The research method used in this article was an in-depth analysis of the literature written by experts in the fields of biodiversity, culture, anthropology and ethnography. Synthesis has been taken from the review of this literature as described in this article with various modifications from field verification. This verification has been carried out in Bali through panel discussions with the heads and members of the banjar (village association) in Gianyar, Jatiluwih, Kerobokan and Ubud. The panel's focus was on the concept and practice of "Tri Hita Karana", the philosophy of Balinese life that embodies the cosmovision of "Sacred Balance". The results showed that the cosmovision of "Sacred Balance" which emphasizes on harmony and equilibrium as a way of life is a philosophy that can be emulated by humans throughout the world not only to achieve conservation but also a means for peace and happiness. This can be obtained by further studying this philosophy which has been practiced since time long standing by many people around the world through deeper studies of Traditional Ecological Knowledge.

This study aimed to investigate the influence factors of product packaging to Pop Mie consumer purchase decision at Wiyung Giant Supermarket. Product packaging factors in this case includes visibility, information, emotional appeal, and power/ ability to do (workability). The population used in this study is to visitors of the Wiyung Giant Supermarket who was buying Pop Mie. Technique to determine the members of the sample in this study is using accidental sampling technique. The number of samples is 105 respondents. This research notes that the results of hypothesis testing through F test states that the visibility, information, emotional appeal, and power/ ability to do (workability) have significant influence simultaneously to the consumer purchases decision(Y). This conclusion is based on the results of the analysis that shows calculated F value of 28.199 with an error rate prediction / forecast of 0.000 with a value smaller than 0.05 or 5%. Based on t test, it can be known that all the free variables which consist of visibility, information, emotional appeal, and power/ ability to do (workability) partially have a significant influence on the dependent variable, the consumer purchase decision. This was proved by the level of significance for each independent variable is smaller than at 0.05 or 5%. The result of T test shows that information variable has regression coefficient = 0.742 and calculated t = 9.202 with a significance level of 0.000. So that, information variable has the most influence to consumer purchase decisions of Pop Mie at Wiyung Giant Supermarket.

The daily life of Balinese people who are Hindus as if it can not be separated with elements of culture and art. The offerings with the form of offerings with great care in the selection of materials offerings, appear to present expressive symbols with aesthetic taste and artistic arrangement. Many religious ceremonies are performed every year in sacred temples, the atmosphere of art, especially the art of dance, is very prominent. In the art of dance, sacred dance or guardian is a dance performed in a series of ceremonies or yadnya or a series of specific rituals, and the dances are usually purified. In connection with that in the Village Pakraman Culik, District Abang, Karangasem regency has a uniqueness in the ceremony piodalan pura puseh there staging Lelegongan Dance. This dance performance is a manifestation of gratitude towards Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. There are also problems that will be discussed, among others: (1) Why Leleged Dance staged at piodalan ceremony at pura puseh, (2) Structure of Lempegongan dance performance, (3) Hindu religion values that contained in Lelegongan dance performance, to (1) reveal the background of Lelegongan dance, (2) explain the structure of dance performance of Lelegongan, (3) analyze the values of Hindu religious education contained in Lelegongan dance performance.The methods used to collect data are non participant observation and structured observation, structured interview, literature. The data collected were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis with reduction measures, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study shows Lelegongan dance is a guardian dance performed on each piodalan in pura puseh as an expression of gratitude before Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in general and also the Bhatari Bhatari who berstana at pura puseh and Ida Bhatari Danuh who berstana at pura puseh, Performance Lelegongan Dance at the ceremony piodalan Pura Puseh Village Pakraman Culik Abang district Karangasem regency is a dance that is considered sacred. In the staging of the Lelegongan dance there are several ceremonies that must be passed before the dance is performed, the first melasti ceremony or the cleansing ceremony of God's symbol, the second peak of the guardian is the peak ceremony in the ceremony piodalan where in the ceremony of the peak of the guardian was held Lertegongan dance performance , after the stages of Lelegongan dance all villagers of Pakraman Kulik do pray together. Next nganyarin which will end the penyineban ceremony. Educational values contained in the Lelegongan Dance namely (1) The value of Tattwa education is as a form of community belief in Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa,(2) The value of education ethics Susila as a symbol of the behavior of the community during the ceremony piodalan, (3) The value of education ceremony that is as a form Bhakti Pakraman Culik Village community before Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa which in this case poured in rituals with facilities and infrastructure namely with Banten, (4) Aesthetic Value that is as a form of spiritual satisfaction

Based on the results of science learning process in SMP Negeri 3 Kusan Hilir, in the learning process especially KD 7.2 and KD. 7.4 on Ecosystems, learners are always given conceptual learning and teachers are reluctant to invite directly to the environment to learn, learners do not do the learning in groups so that learning is still centered on the teacher. Such learning leads to the lack of creativity and involvement of learners in the learning process that impacts on the classical completeness of only 60%. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to think critically about what is happening in their environment and to instill environmental ethics in their minds, that the importance of environmental sustainability for the present to the future by using Inquiry approach. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This study was conducted 2 cycles in accordance with the effective learning time of 8 hours lesson. Cycle I as much as 2 meetings and cycle II as much as 2 times meetings. Subjects in this study were students class VII A SMP Negeri 3 Kusan Hilir which amounted to 22 students consisting of 10 women and 12 men. The results showed that by using the Inkuiri approach can improve students' critical thinking skills from classical mastery 13.63% in the first cycle of meeting 1 to 45.50% at the 2nd meeting and 68% in the second cycle of meeting 1 to 95% At the meeting 2. The cognitive learning outcomes of learners have increased from classical completeness 22.72% in the first cycle of meeting 1 to 55% at meetings 2 and 77% in cycle II meeting 1 to 95% at the meeting 2. The implementation process Lessons from the less category in the first cycle of meeting 1 become sufficient category at the 2nd meeting and from the good category in the second cycle of meeting 1 become very good category at the meeting 2. Positive student response to the learning process using Inquiry approach.
