Slang can not only be found in daily conversation but it also can be found in literary work such as movies, for example in The Expendables 3 Movie which the characters’ use slang quite often in dialogues. The purpose of this paper is to study the function, type, and meaning of the slang terms used by the characters of The Expendables 3 movie. The researchers used descriptive qualitative method to analyze. After doing the analysis, the researchers found fifty-five slang terms and the details are as follows: (1) There are two types of slang, namely primary and secondary slang. The type which more often used is primary slang. (2) There are three types of functions: social, psychological and rhetorical functions (3) There are seven types of meaning of slang namely connotative, social, affective, collocative, conceptual, thematic and reflection meanings. Wages are an important element in the employment relationship. In 2021, The Indonesian government has issued Government Regulation Number 36 of 2021 on Wage Policy. The purpose of this wage policy review is to compare the wage provision between Government Regulation Number 78 of 2015 and Government Regulation Number 36 of 2021. The novelty of this study is to find differences in term of wage rules between the previous regulation and the latest ones, and also to examine all of those differences based on both legal and economic aspects; so that, the government will get more complete understanding in carrying out wage policy. Furthermore, the wage policy produced by the government hopefully can creates a positive impact on workers and employers.

Background: Depression is a significant predictor of the quality of life among patients with coronary heart disease. Therefore, it is essential to explore the factors associated with depression. Illness cognition is considered one of the factors affecting depression. However, the relationship between illness cognition and the incidence of depression among Indonesian patients have not been widely investigated. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the correlation between illness cognition, consisting of the acceptance, perceived benefits, and helplessness variables, and depression in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods: This study employed a correlational research design with a total of 106 patients undergoing treatment at a hospital in West Java, Indonesia, selected using convenience sampling. Data were collected using a demographic questionnaire, Beck-Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II), and ICQ (Illness-Cognition Questionnaire). Data were analyzed using mean (SD), median, frequency distribution, and Spearman-rank. Results: 72% of respondents had no depression. Nevertheless, mild, moderate, and major depression suffered by 15%, 9%, and 4% of respondents, respectively. In terms of illness cognition, patients scored higher within the perceived benefits dimension (mean 20.13, SD 3.05), followed by acceptance (mean 18.22, SD 3.33) and helplessness (mean 13.20, SD 4.77), respectively. Language variation, slang, is one of the recently language uses in mostly teenager interaction. They use this language variation in having various types and reasons. This paper is qualitative studies which aimed at finding and explore the types of slang language used and the reasons of using slang in teenager interaction. It was used as the method to describe a result of a process based on the category that had been determined. The data were collected from document analysis and close ended questionnaire which were analyzed by using interactive model of data analysis: data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion / verification. The study found that the types of slang language used in teenager interaction showed various result in each types. The first highest result was acronym with the total 33 words or 37.93%. Then, the second was clipping with the total 25 words or 28.75%. Next, the third was fresh and creative with the total 16 words or 18.39%. After that, the fourth was compounding with the total eight words or 9.19%, and the lowest was imitative with the total five words or 5.74%. In line with the result of slang language used types, the result of teenagers’ reason in using slang on their interaction also showed impressive result. There were seven reasons of why the teenagers were using slang language in their interaction. The first highest result was the reason of to enrich the language by inventing new words with the total 15 frequencies or 17.85%. Then, the reason was to induce either friendliness with the total 14 frequencies or 16.70%. Next, the reason were to be different and for easing of social intercourse with the total 13 frequencies or 15.47%. The reasons of to be different and for easing of social intercourse had the same frequencies and percentage in this result. After that, the reason was to reduce seriousness of a conversation with the total 11 frequencies or 13.09%. Next, the reason was just for fun of the thing with the total 10 frequencies or 11.90%, and the last reason was for delights in virtuosity with the total eight frequencies or 9.52%. ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN BAHASA SLANG DALAM INTERAKSI REMAJA Abstrak Variasi bahasa, bahasa gaul, adalah salah satu bahasa yang baru-baru ini digunakan dalam sebagian besar interaksi remaja. Mereka menggunakan variasi bahasa ini karena memiliki berbagai jenis dan alasan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan motode kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menemukan dan mengeksplorasi jenis-jenis bahasa gaul yang digunakan dan alasan penggunaan bahasa gaul dalam interaksi remaja. Metode kualitatif digunakan sebagai metode untuk mendeskripsikan hasil dari suatu proses berdasarkan kategori yang telah ditentukan. Data diperoleh dari analisis dokumen dan angket tertutup yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis data model interaktif: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan / verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa jenis-jenis bahasa gaul yang digunakan dalam interaksi remaja menunjukkan hasil yang beragam di setiap jenisnya. Hasil tertinggi pertama adalah akronim dengan jumlah 33 kata atau 37,93%. Kemudian yang kedua yaitu kliping dengan total 25 kata atau 28,75%. Berikutnya, yang ketiga yaitu kata baru dan kreatif dengan total 16 kata atau 18,39%. Setelah itu, kata majemuk dengan total delapan kata atau 9,19%, dan yang terendah yaitu kata peniruan dengan total lima kata atau 5,74%. Sejalan dengan hasil penggunaan jenis bahasa gaul, hasil alasan remaja dalam menggunakan bahasa gaul di interaksinya juga menunjukkan hasil yang mengesankan. Ada tujuh alasan mengapa para remaja tersebut menggunakan bahasa gaul dalam interaksi mereka. Alasan yang pertama adalah untuk memperkaya bahasa dengan menemukan kata-kata baru sebanyak 15 frekuensi atau 17,85%. Kemudian alasan yang kedua untuk menginduksi keramahan dengan total 14 frekuensi atau 16.70%. Selanjutnya, alasan yang ketiga agar berbeda dan untuk memudahkan pergaulan dengan total 13 frekuensi atau 15,47%. Sejalan dengan hasil penggunaan jenis bahasa gaul, hasil alasan remaja dalam menggunakan bahasa gaul di interaksinya juga menunjukkan hasil yang mengesankan. Alasan untuk menjadi berbeda dan untuk memudahkan pergaulan memiliki frekuensi dan persentase yang sama pada hasil ini. Setelah itu, alasan berikutnya untuk mengurangi keseriusan percakapan dengan total 11 frekuensi atau 13,09%. Selanjutnya, hanya untuk bersenang-senang dengan total 10 frekuensi atau 11,90%, dan yang terakhir adalah kesenangan dalam virtuositas dengan total delapan frekuensi atau 9,52%. This study aims to determine the effect of labor, capital, and government policies on coal output and the scale of coal business results of PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk. The new thing from this research is the Cobb-Douglas production function which usually uses labor and capital variables, but in this study, it has been expanded by adding policy variable in the form of Law No. 4 of 2009 regarding Mineral and Coal Mining, which is not yet present in other studies. The research method is linear regression using the Cobb-Douglas model function. The results showed that labor did not significantly influence coal production. Capital has a significant effect on model 2 and policy has a significant effect on model 3. The coal mining business of PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk is in decreasing return to scale because if the three variables are combined, it will be worth -0.24. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memberikan penjelasan tentang pengaruh sastra musik Arab modern terhadap seni musik Arab. Dari pengaruh tersebut dapat menghadirkan lagu yang berjudul "Sayyidi Ar-Rais". Dalam lagu ini peneliti dapat memaparkan makna lagu dengan menggunakan teori analisis semantik makna dan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang didapatkan oleh peneliti diambil dari YouTube, jurnal, buku, dan sosial media. Sehingga dari data ini dapat memudahkan peneliti dalam menganalisis. Dari Analisis ini peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa pengaruh sastra Arab sangat berpengaruh bagi penyair, khususnya dibidang seni musik Arab. Sehingga Hama Beshary menciptakan lagu "Sayyidi Ar-Rais" yang mengandung pesan perdamaian akibat adanya konflik yang terjadi di Palestina dengan menggunakan pendekatan struktural.

Low communication skills and self-confidence affect student learning outcomes. Therefore, there is a need for efforts to improve students' mathematical communication skills and self-confidence, one of which is by using the Think Pair Share learning model and the Student Team Achievement Divisions. The purpose of this study was to analyze differences in mathematical communication skills and self-confidence between students who received the Think Pair Share learning model and the Student Team Achievement Divisions, learning model. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a population of all class X students of SMA Negeri 15 Garut. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling by taking a sample of two classes, namely 31 students of class XMIA-8 and 34 students of class XMIA-4. The research instruments used were essay tests and questionnaires. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was concluded that there were differences in mathematical communication skills and self-confidence between students who received the Think Pair Share learning model and the Studen Team Achievement Divisions learning model.

It is an obligation that binds every Muslim as long as he still has the status of a mukallaf and has the ability. The reality that exists demands to understand ahkam related to elderly people because there is hardly a single house in the middle of the Muslims except in which there are elderly people. This study aims to describe ahkam regarding elderly people concerning fasting and fidyah, as it aims to discuss the law of changing his fast after he dies. This research focuses on examining the fasting ahkam for elderly people based on the interpretation of jurisprudence, then analyzing and judging the shar'i law of each problem after deciphering the root causes and causes by describing the opinions of each ulama and their arguments on each of these issues. In this study, researchers used descriptive analysis methods, and have come to several important conclusions from the results of the study, the most important of which is that fasting is a Shari'a command that is required of parents as long as two conditions are met, namely being intelligent and capable. Relief is only given to parents based on the provisions of the Shari'a. If he is unable to fast, then by paying fidyah without having to fast, and for his heirs to change his fast if he dies as a form of devotion and good deeds to him.

The objectives of this research are to know the errors in the third semester students’ writing of Bina Sarana Informatika University and the most frequent error. It is concerned to the grammatical and semantic and substance errors. The data is analyzed by using James’ theory in (Mungungu, 2010). The findings show that errors done by the students are spelling 50.9%, fragment 15.7%, punctuation 9.8%, adjective 3%, subject- verb agreement 3.9%, preposition 3.9%, capitalization 3.9%, tenses 2%, verb 2%, literal translation 2%. It can be concluded that the most frequent error is spelling. It because the students missed a letter, added more letter in a word, and exchange the letter. While In grammatical category, the most frequent error is fragment. It is because the most students do not put a subject in a sentence.

Coronary heart disease (CHD) patients experience various physical and psychological changes after an acute attack. Depression has been identified as a substantive psychological problem in CHD patients. Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) intends to restore optimal physical and psychological condition of the patients. However, less attention is bestowed towards the psychological aspect of CR. Research on the effects of CR on patient psychological problems has not been discussed in many studies in Indonesia. This study aimed to compare depression, recurrence, and fitness levels among CHD patients based on participation in Phase II CR Program. This research used a quantitative comparative method involving 66 CHD patients recruited by a purposive sampling technique. After applying the selection criteria for this study, the patients were assigned to the CR group (nCR=29) and the non-CR group (nNCR=37). Data were collected using the Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI II) and instruments developed by researchers to measure recurrence and fitness levels. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution, chi-squared, and Mann-Whitney tests. Depression experienced by CHD patients in both groups with mean in non-CR and CR groups of 11.11 (± 7.8) and 8.59 (± 6.5), respectively. There was no significant difference in depression level among the groups (p>0.05)). Meanwhile, as many as 45% of the patients in the CR group and 22% in the non-CR group had never experienced chest pain (recurrence) within the past month. In addition, the physical fitness was perceived increased by 90% of the patients in the CR group and 0% in the non-CR group. Physical and mental readiness is needed before menarche because pre-puberty girl may feel anxiety and fear. Health education is one way that can be done because it will increase knowledge and information about menstruation so it will affect on good perceptions of menstruation and increase readiness in dealing with menarche. This research aimed to analyse the influence of health education by using audiovisual media on readiness to face menarche. This study uses the literature review method. The research was conducted by using Google Scholar and Proquest databases with keywords to find articles which are appropriate the inclusion and exclusion criteria to be reviewed. The results on reviewed articles, 3 articles prove that audiovisual education about menarche effective to increase readiness in dealing with menarche, 2 other articles prove that audiovisual media is more effective than the education without audiovisual media and leaflets. The conclusion based on 5 reviewed articles proves that audiovisual health education about menarche given to premenarche elementary student affect their readiness to face menarche because it can provide stimulus of sense for hearing and vision, so that the results obtained are more optimal. This review of the information on reproductive health can be used in the fields of education, approval, and community service regarding reproductive health in elementary school students.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Brand Image and service quality on customer satisfaction, Brand Image and service quality on customer loyalty, the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty, the influence of brand image and service quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction at PT. Bosowa Berlian Motor in Makassar city. To implement these objectives, data collection techniques are used through observation, questionnaires and documentation, using the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis method. The results of the study found that brand image and service quality had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Brand image and service quality have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction can partially mediate between brand image and service quality on customer loyalty. It can be indicated that the better the quality of service, the more satisfied the customer will be, thus impacting customer loyalty.

One of the potential areas as an agro-tourism area in Majalengka Regency is the Sinapeul durian agro-tourism area in Ujungberung Village, Sindangwangi District. However, the Sinapeul durian agro-tourism area has not been running optimally, this is thought to be caused by several factors, namely the absence of a strategy and policy on the management and development of the agro-tourism area. In addition, the cooperation agreement that occurs between the village government and smallholders is not yet clear. The purpose of this study was to analyze the strategy for the development of the durian agro-tourism area and to analyze the contract applied between the village government and the tenant farmers. The research method used is a qualitative method with the Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) approach. Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) is a well-established methodology for identifying relationships between specific variables that define a problem or issue. Based on the results of research that has been conducted by researchers, there are seven elements that become indicators of agro-tourism area development strategies with the main strategies, namely agro-tourism development innovation, institutional support, promotion and marketing (level 1), strengthening regulations and policies, and investors (level 2), quality development. Human resources and community participation with the village (level 3). In Islam, there are several contract options in agricultural management such as Muzara Mukabarah and Musaqah. A cooperative agreement for agricultural production that is suitable for managing durian crops between land owners and smallholders is to apply the Musaqah contract.

This research aimed to analyze the forms of verbal and nonverbal communication in teacher talk. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The instrument of the study was the FLINT System and Darn classification. The participants of this research were the teacher and students in a speaking class of the English Department. The results show that teacher talk gives a positive impact on students’ performance. During the class interaction, the teacher successfully met the aspects of good teacher talk and applied some forms of FLINT system of verbal communication and some elements of non-verbal communication. For the FLINT system, the teacher applied to ask questions, giving encouragement, giving direction, critiquing students’ behavior, dealing with feelings and, prising. For the form of nonverbal communication, the teacher applied only two forms, those are kinesics which is referred to as gestures, and haptics is referred to as touching.

Objective This study was aimed to make an application design to facilitate midwives to detect the growth and development of toddlers based on anthropometry. After completing the application, the application will be tested on midwives to provide their perception of convenience. Method It was conducted in August-September 2019 in the Posyandu working area of the Campalagian Health Center in Polewali Mandar, West Sulawesi. It was an experimental study; the study sample was midwives who had the task of monitoring growth and development in the posyandu (integrated health center) area totaling 20 people. After completing the application, the application was tested on midwives to provide their perception of convenience. Results Researchers succeeded in making my sisfor_bidanku application for toddlers’ growth based on anthropometry. Data showed that midwives who had the perception that midwife applications were very easy were ten people (25%), although there were still four people (10%) who stated that conventional applications are also very easy. Conclusion Midwives have the perception that it's easy to use my sisfor_bidanku application, but the conventional method is also relatively easy.

Road pricing basic rationale argues that congestion occur as the result of an increasing number of travellers who use private transportation mode, instead of public transport. Road pricing could influence road users’ choice of transportation mode. An electronic road pricing (ERP) is planned to be implemented in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, while the public acceptance of the policy is not yet known. This study aims to describe public acceptance of road pricing with the influence of the differences in socio-demographic condition (Model 1), traffic management strategies perception (Model 2), and road pricing revenue allocation perception (Model 3). The data is collected from 356 respondents in Jakarta. This study uses logistic regression (logit) modelling to facilitate the discrete nature of the data especially public acceptance as a dependent variable that is categorized as a binary answer. The results show that Model 1 is not significant, Model 2 shows that perception on road pricing is significant and finally Model 3 is significant, especially if road pricing revenue is allocated to develop public transport, to increase road connectivity, and to protect the environment.

One of the efforts to get quality students is through selection. The selection process must be balanced with a strategy so that the selected students are truly qualified. Classification techniques can be used to see the history of new student admissions who are accepted with the student’s lecture history. There are many classification algorithms that can be used, so comparisons need to be made to see the best performance of the algorithm. The classification algorithm used is Decision Tree C4.5, K-Nearest Neighbor, Naive Bayes and Neural Network. The data used are 546 records in the imbalanced data category. So we need the Smote algorithm to make the data balanced so as not to result in misclassification. The classification results were tested using the Confusion Matrix, ROC and Geometric Mean (G-Mean) as well as a T-Test. The comparison results show that the best performance is on the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm with an accuracy value of 84.99%, AUC of 0.700, G-Mean 62.95% and the T-test produces a significant different from other algorithms.

Patient satisfaction is a patient's level of feeling that arises as a result of the performance of health services obtained after the patient compares with what he expected so that patient satisfaction is needed quality service. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the quality of health services and the level of patient satisfaction. This study uses an analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study were 47 respondents. The study was analyzed using chi-square test results of the study showed that the independent variable that is the perception of the quality of health services consisting of five dimensions has a relationship with patient satisfaction is reliability with p = 0.000, responsiveness with p = 0.000, guarantee with p = 0.002, empathy with p = 0,000 and physical evidence with p = 0,000. The conclusion of this study is the relationship between the quality of service reliability with patient satisfaction, there is a responsive relationship with patient satisfaction, there is a guaranteed relationship with patient satisfaction, there is an empathy relationship with patient satisfaction and there is a relationship of physical evidence with patient satisfaction. The advice is expected to health workers to continue to improve the quality of health services in order to achieve patient satisfaction.

Artikel ini dilakukan untuk melihat sejauh mana pembinaan keagamaan para mualaf didapatkan. Karena sebagai seorang muslim yang baru mengenal Islam, tentu membutuhkan sebuah pembinaan keagamaan agar memudahkannya dalam memahami ajaran-ajaran tentang Islam. Hal ini bertujuan untuk dapat mendeskripsikan bagaimana pembinaan keagamaan yang dilakukan oleh keluarga mualaf dan bagaimana hasil dari pembinaan keagamaan mualaf terhadap agama Islam, yang sesuai dengan muslim pada umumnya. Sehingga penelitian ini dapat menjadi role model masyarakat dalam melakukan pembinaan keagamaan terhadap mualaf. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskripsi untuk mengetahui lebih jauh tentang pelaksanaan pembinaan keagamaan bagi beberapa keluarga keluarga Mualaf. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bagaimana proses pembinaan pendidikan agama Islam yang dilakukan oleh beberapa keluarga mualaf dengan beberapa cara dan metode untuk meningkatkan keteguhan iman mereka terhadap agama Islam. Sehingga menjadikan keimanan mereka kokoh dan menjadikan pribadi seorang muslim yang utuh dan agar terhindar dari kembalinya mereka kepada kepercayannya yang lama.

Background: Schizophrenia is a mental disorder with a high incidence and relapse due to a lack of family support. Families do not understand how to treat patients with schizophrenia. There are several factors related to the family’s abilities in treating patients with schizophrenia, there are the level of family’s knowledge, perception, and burden. Objective: This study aimed to describe the knowledge, perception and burden of family in treating patients with schizophrenia who experience a relapse. Methods: The research used descriptive quantitative method. Samples were selected by consecutive sampling technique and obtained 100 respondents. Data were collected by a questionnaire consisting of family knowledge and perception developed by the researcher, and Zarit Burden Interview scale was used to measure the family burden. Data were analyzed using percentages, score T, and the Zarit Burden Interview analysis. Results: Findings showed that 31 respondents (31%) had good knowledge, 42 respondents (42%) had sufficient knowledge, and 27 respondents (27%) had insufficient knowledge. In terms of perception, 66 respondents (66%) had a positive perception and 33% had a negative perception. In addition, 42 respondents (42%) had moderate to heavy burden levels, 23 respondents (23%) had a very heavy level of heavy burden, and 3 respondents (3%) with very heavy levels of burden. Conclusions: Based on the results, it is necessary to increase the frequency of health education for the families. In addition, it is also important to hold a sharing program between families to reduce family burden.

The purpose of this study was to describe the use of Total Physical Response (TPR) method on early childhood English Language Teaching (ELT) at Panti Asuhan Yauma Jakarta and to know the students’ response after learning English using TPR method. The method of the research is descriptive qualitative. In this research the researcher describes the activities carried out by teachers and students by using TPR method. The data resources are from teacher and students in Panti Asuhan Yauma Jakarta . The class consist of 6 students which their age was around 5 to 11 years old. The data collected through observation and interview both teacher and students. The instruments were pre-test and post-test with 2 (two) criterion being assessed, namely vocabulary and comprehension. They were divided into 6 (six) elements such as accuracy of word, understanding each word, word choice, understanding the meaning, speaking easily,and intonation. The results showed that there was any improvement on vocabulary score about 26.16 and comprehension score about 27.16. The research finding firstly showed the TPR method was able to be applied to children because they enjoyed and were also very active in learning English. The researcher hopes that the study contributes to the activities of teaching and learning English, especially teaching English for early childhood. It was proved by the score from pre-test and post-test.

Intolerance behaviors that are not anticipated may give birth to the danger of radicalism both psychologically and physically. This study aims at exploring the way to select and discover informational sources related to the topics; at investigating a means of estimating, accepting, and determining the best thing in the future; at analyzing a means of building new knowledge associated with gained information; and discovering a means of providing and broadcasting information on the website. This study used case study method in order to observe the reality of information literacy and the danger of intolerance among the net generation Observation findings show that the doctrine of intolerance was spread through group discussions of religious Student Activity Unit (UKM). The massive spread of radical viruses is supported by the dominance of the internet as the main medium in information searching. The condition is made worse by low information literacy skills. The results of this study expected to be able to be used as references relating to information literacy for the net generation to anticipate the danger of intolerance which is the forerunner of radicalism. The results showed that the low reading abilities led to a conservative interpretation of religious meanings, which considered one’s understanding more correct and accused others as infidels. This phenomenon can be seen from the discovery of limited new knowledge. Hence, the knowledge of information literacy must be introduced in lecture rooms and within intra-university activities.

Fenomena disinformasi dalam konteks pemilihan kepala daerah menjadi fenomena yang besar di Indonesia. Media sosial menjadi target paling banyak tersebarnya konten yang bersifat disinformasi, salah satunya dalam pilkada (Pemilihan Kepala Daerah) Jawa Barat periode 2018-2023. Sasaran pesan disinformasi yang tersebar merupakan pemilih pemula dan swing voters mengingat pengguna media sosial terbanyak di Indonesia adalah anak muda dengan rentang usia 15-35 tahun. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh terpaan disinformasi pada media sosial terhadap persepsi pemilih pemula dalam menetukan pilihan pada Pilakada Jawa Barat, (2) untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh aspek penonjolan konten pesan yang bersifat disinformasi pada media sosial terhadap persepsi pemilih pemula dalam menetukan pilihan pada Pilkada Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif survei eksplanatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh dari disinformasi yang tersebar melalui media sosial bagi pemilih pemula dalam menentukan pilihan di Pilkada Jawa Barat tahun 2018. Akan tetapi pengaruh yang dihasilkan tidak begitu signifikan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan para pemilih pemula cenderung melihat bukti nyata keberhasilan Ridwan Kamil saat menjabat sebagai Walikota Bandung

The purpose of this activity is to provide comprehensive understanding, especially for junior high school students in Cantigi Subdistrict, Indramayu Regency about anemia in adolescents. Activities are carried out with a lecture and discussion approach to the first class VII, VIII, VIII schools. The results of this activity are the enthusiasm of participants who increasingly understand about anemia. and it is highly recommended to take Fe tablets and consume lots of foods containing iron and protein to facilitate the blood circulation system. By detecting it early so as not to disturb the reproductive system in adolescents.

Purpose This study aims to examine the adoption of peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platforms to determine the factors that encourage SMEs to use P2P lending platforms in obtaining loans. Design/methodology/approach A sample of ten SMEs from a variety of backgrounds was taken in Bandung, Indonesia. Bandung has been awarded the title of “creative city” by UNESCO, as the city allows for the development of the creative economy. This research used a semi-structured interview. Coding method was then used for content analysis to establish which factors emerging from the interview were leading respondents to obtain a loan through the P2P lending platform. Findings The findings imply that loan processes, interest rates, loan costs, loan amounts and loan flexibility affect SMEs in obtaining a loan through P2P lending. Moreover, alternative payment schemes in the form of Sharia-based lending and profit-sharing schemes were found. These findings constituted the original findings of this study. Research limitations/implications The study offers findings on factors affecting SMEs in using the P2P lending platform as a form of alternative financing. Moreover, the theoretical framework provided can be used as literature in future research. As this study was conducted in Bandung, Indonesia, the findings may not be generalisable to other regions. Originality/value This study is one of the few studies that discusses P2P lending in Indonesia as the concept has been in practice only since 2015.

An engineer needed the ability to design an experiment research to be effective and efficient to obtain optimal results. The purpose of this experiment is to determine the fastest rate of freezing saline solution. The research process begins with determining the independent variables as much as possible and determines the three independent variables to be tested. After determine variables, and then create table factorial design to determine the research steps as much as 8 times. Then determine the most influential variables using Yates's algorithm was then tested again using response surface methodology (RSM), but for this study only uses two steps of the three step RSM. So it can be concluded that the lower temperature and salinity the faster the rate of freezing for both type of salt, Krosok and salt.

This article explores teacher's experiences and students' perceptions of character and values education at the university level. This is a case study of how teacher integrates character education in EFL Reading Comprehension subject at Islamic higher education context. The data from ten students and a teacher are collected through an online interview and questionnaires. The result showed the characters implied in EFL Reading Comprehension Subject are eleven characters include learning method, critical thinking, independence, creativity, courage/self-confidence, communicativeness, responsibility, honesty, religiousness, cooperation, tolerance. Those characters are positively responded by the students in their learning process in the classroom. Besides, the teacher also integrated those values in the teaching and learning process to instill students' character education.

Permasalahan kesetaraan gender dalam bidang ketenagakerjaan masih banyak diperbincangkan diberbagai negara termasuk di Indonesia. Walaupun berbagai perlindungan telah diupayakan melalui produk-produk hukum internasional maupun nasional namun latar belakang budaya di suatu negara akan tetap berperan penting dalam upaya mencapai kesetaraan gender dalam bidang ketenagakerjaan. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis tingkat kesetaraan gender yang di Indonesia dan tantangan dalam mancapai kesetaraan gender di bidang ketenagakerjaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer melalui Focus Group Disscusion (FGD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketimpangan gender masih terjadi di Indonesia, namun seiring waktu ketimpangannya semakin mengecil, artinya kesempatan perempuan dan laki-laki semakin sama. Namun untuk meningkatkan kesetaraan gender masih ada beberapa hambatan secara institusi maupun sosial budaya, seperti ketiadaan kesepakatan antara pekerja perempuan dengan pengusaha terhadap kesetaraan gender ditempat kerja, peraturan kesetaraan gender masih kurang optimal ditegakkan, masih rendahnya kesadaran dari pekerja terhadap hak-haknya, serta rendahnya posisi tawar pekerja perempuan. Untuk itu, pemerintah perlu meningkatkan kesetaraan gender dengan meningkatkan penegakan hukum berkaitan dengan kesetaraan gender di bidang ketenagakerjaan dengan melibatkan koordinasi antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah dalam memperkuat sistem pengawasan ketenagakerjaan. Selain itu meningkatkan kesadaran atas hak kesetaraan gender angkatan kerja perempuan dan memberikan perlindungan sosial bagi pekerja perempuan di sektor informal.

This research investigates the results of studies related to the implementation of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)-based learning at elementary schools in Indonesia. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with meta-synthesis model, this research selects research articles related to STEM-based learning at elementary school in Indonesia from google scholar and google site as sources for primary data and secondary data, respectively. After reviewed through inclusion and exclusion criteria evaluated by quality assessments, 15 scientific articles published within 2015 to 2020 are analysed. Findings show that many studies have great interest in developing STEM-based teaching and learning materials, while others focus on identifying the impact of STEM-based learning on various learning achievements such as creative thinking skills, critical thinking skills, basic questioning skills, and scientific literacy, and learning achievement in general.

A point of view in understanding the problem of the risk of damage and the difference in the use of the istinbat method can be done with the istinbat law method of Sadd az-zari'ah which considers mafsadat and maslahat. Sadd az-zari'ah is a prohibition against anything that was originally permissible so that it does not lead to what is forbidden. The same goes for education about reproductive health that is delivered by families/teachers/peers to adolescents. Reproductive health is a series of conditions for the development of adolescents, which have been misinterpreted and even taboo for discussion. Therefore, through mix-method research, with 188 respondents online, studies, discussions, and reinforcement were given to evaluation for 3 months. Strengthening the preventive theory (Sadd az-zari'aht) was carried out in this study to avoid self-damage to the susceptibility of adolescents, even to imparting knowledge of sex education which resulted in early pregnancy / venereal disease. The results showed that physical growth and damage due to promiscuity affect the intervention of assertive acceptance and reproductive growth and development in adolescents.

Religious pluralism in Indonesia is a necessity that cannot be avoided because it adheres to diversity. As we know that in Indonesia there are six religions recognized by the government namely (Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Catholicism and Kong hu chu) and every Indonesian citizen must embrace one of these religions, besides that human beings themselves are part of pluralism itself, so we live in pluralism.Normatively, doctrinaire of religion always teaches kindness, love and harmony. But sociological reality shows the opposite, religion is actually used as a source of ongoing conflict, both internal and external conflicts, such as clashes between the Early Church Christians with Jews, Christians with adherents of Roman religion (imperial religion) in the first century to the third century. Not much different from that in Indonesia, so we need to find a meeting point or Sawa sentence, looking for a conducive and prospective approach to the realization of sacred religious values (fundamental values) to be applicable solutions in looking at this plural future.

The problem found in Elementary School Ahmad Yani cluster Kendal was the low learning achievement of IPS subject. This was caused by several aspects such as the less varied learning model, the inability of students to use their own knowledge, and lack of critical thinking in problem solving. Therefore, there is a need to provide innovative model to create more effective teaching and learning process. To answer such problem, this study used Quasi-Experimental research method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Through this design, the researchers involved all the third grade of Elementary School in Ahmad Yani Cluster Kendal as the population of this study. They were sampled by using cluster sampling. After the samples were obtained, the researchers decided experimental and control groups. They were as many as 28 students of SD 2 Campurejo involved as the experimental group, while 22 students of SD 2 Tampingan as the control group. In addition, the dependent variable of this study was Think Pair Share model, while the independent variable was IPS subject learning achievement with the topic of the history of currency. Their data were collected using observation, documentation and tests. Meanwhile, the hypotheses and effectiveness were examined by using t-test and gain test. The results of the study showed that Think Pair Share model was effective toward IPS subject learning achievement of the third grade students with the topic of the history of currency. Further, the posttest average score of experimental class was higher than control class. Also, the posttest mean of experimental group was 78.6 and the posttest mean of control group was 67.7. Moreover, the calculation of gain index showed that experimental class was on fair category with the score of 0.6180, while the control class achieved the criteria as many as 0.4055. At last, this study suggests that TPS model is better to use in any subjects in order to create innovative teaching and learning.

Meskipun memiliki keterbatasan namun mereka memiliki semangat dan tekad kuat dalam membangun media online ini. Hal ini dikarenakan diskriminasi yang dirasakan oleh mereka khususnya dalam hal pemberitaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan menghasilkan data deskriptif yang berupa ucapan, tulisan serta perilaku orang yang diamati sehingga dapat mengenali subjek dan merasakan pengalaman mereka dalam kehidupan sosialnya. Maka didapatkan hasil mengenai gambaran utuh aktivitas jurnalistik yang dilakukan oleh jurnalis disabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas pencarian, pengumpulan, pengolahan dan penyebaran informasi media online newsdifabel.com yang dilakukan oleh jurnalis disabilitas memiliki cara dan proses yang berbeda dengan jurnalis pada umumnya. Most of business in the world, including Indonesia, consists of SMEs (around 99% of the total enterprises). With this large number of SMEs must be balanced with good performance in order to sustain and beneficial for the nation, considering their contribution that almost two-third of the national GDP. In this modern era, where everything is connected, we cannot assess SMEs performance solely on conventional products but also need to add other abilities from a founder to be able to bring the company to continue and growth. This, innovation, marketing, digital and learning capabilities are the key capabilities for the firms in their efforts to achieve superior performance especially in Indonesia. Thus, this research aimed to (i) investigate to what extend founder capabilities are effective on SME performance, and (ii) propose strategies to improve SME performance. To answer the research objective, this research used mixed method. To assess SMEs performance through founder capabilities in doing innovation, marketing, digital, and learning, a survey was conducted. Continues with in-depth interview to explore appropriate program for improving SMEs performance. Samples for the survey were taken from different categories of SMEs (micro, small and medium) and across industrial sector, approximately 100 samples were gained for the study. For the in-depth interview, a total of seven samples from each difference SMEs group and industrial sector was drawn. The questionnaire from the survey then analyzed using multiple linear regression to investigate the effect of independent variables (innovation capabilities, learning capabilities, marketing capabilities, and digital capabilities) toward dependent variable (SMEs performance). The result is most of the independent variables are significantly affected the SMEs performance. From the in-depth interview, the respondents suggested comprehensive detailed program for workshop, seminar, coaching, or mentoring to improve SMEs performance. This study was conducted to develop an interactive animation learning media in the fifth grade science learning of balanced nutritional food material in Pondok Pucung 01 Elementary School, South Tangerang. Data was collected through documentation techniques, interviews, questionnaires and validity. The analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative analysis. Validation of this animated interactive learning media is guided by four aspects: 1) aspects of content and content, 2) aspects of display, 3) aspects of use and presentation, and 4) aspects of language. Validation by two media experts resulted in scores of 3.33 (very good) and 3.63 (very good). Validation carried out by two material experts in grade V SD produced scores of 3.66 (very good) and 3.36 (very good). Animated interactive learning media obtained a mean score of 3.49 from the score range 1-4 and included in the category "very good". This shows that the interactive interactive learning media developed are very suitable for use as elementary school science learning media.

Human Traffickingis one of the most common crimes occurs in Indonesia. To eradicate this crime, the government issued the 21/2007 of Human Trafficking Act (UU PTPPO). The statue sanctions persons committing the crime and providing protection to witnesses and victims. The law accomodate a number of penalties for the perpetrators of this crime, ranging from principal punishment, in the form of imprisonment and fine, to additional criminal and ballast. Although Islamic law does not explicitly regulate this crime, it is clearly contrary to Islamic principles of freedom, independence, equality and human dignity.

Background: Caring is the essence of nursing that is believed vital in improving the health and well-being of patients and in facilitating health promotion. Nursing education has a fundamental role in shaping a positive student’s caring behavior.Objective: This study identified the caring behavior of the final-year nursing students after completing a critical care nursing course unit by implementing assorted teaching-learning strategies.Methods: This study was a descriptive research using a comparative design. Samples were recruited from a group of 152 final-year students using a random sampling technique (n=76). Data were collected using a valid and reliable Indonesian caring instrument consisting of 32 items based on Watson’s ten carative factors. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics by calculating mean scores of students’ caring behavior. A paired t test was performed to evaluate the difference between caring behavior before and after completion of the course unit involving a diverse teaching learning strategies, such as face-to-face lectures in the class, quizzes and practicums, facilitated small group case-based discussions, and expert reviews.Results: Results showed that more than half of the students had negative caring behavior before (59.22%) and after (54.55%) participating in learning process. There was also a barely statistical unsignificance in the change of caring behavior following the course unit that involved various learning strategies (p value = 0.276). Further analyses of the 10 carative factors revealed that there was a significant change in transpersonal teaching-learning, provision for a supportive, protective, and/or corrective mental, physical, sociocultural, and spiritual environment, and spiritual environment and existential-phenomenological spiritual forces (improved, p value

This paper aims at reading the two songs entitled New York , New York and The Empire State of Mind to see how the city of New York is perceived and campaigned by the songs. It is an American popular cultural studies research discussing the two songs which are analysed as popular media works to deliver messages to the audiences. Inge’s theory on popular cultural works is employed to examine the form, function, and methods of evaluation in a way that the songs are treated as readable cultural texts. Semiotics is also employed as a relevant approach to interpret the data. In addition, Socio-cultural approach is applied in this study by considering American history that is useful to have a deeper discussion to examine how the city of New York is defined and spread by the media through the songs. The finding shows that the two popular songs see New York as a representation of America to hold the values of finding dreamland, conquering the wilderness, and achieving individual success in a modern materialistic capitalistic America. Released in two different eras, the songs are functioned as media voicing the American thoughts and feeling toward New York City as the today’s place of dream and reshaping the society itself as well. This article aims to explain the impact of George W. Bush’s War on Terror policy toward the direction of anti-American violence movements committed by Muslim groups in Indonesia. The data were collected from factual news presented in three online news sites: www.detik.com, tempointeraktif.com and kompas.com, during 2000-2009, reporting series of violence movement in Indonesia. It is a media studies research employing: (i) socio-cultural approach to see the social condition and cultural values of the muslim-dominated Indonesian society which has long been colored by American cultural influence, (ii) historical approach to trace the radical movement in Indonesia and to understand what War on terror is, and (iii) Kroes’ theory on Americanization and American cultural influence to understand the presence of American cultural symbols in Indonesia. The findings show that American foreign policy of Bush’s War on terror had changed the direction of violence in Indonesia from anti-Christianity movements to anti-American movements. There are three levels of violence conducted by different Muslim groups in Indonesia. Deadly violence attacks in the form of bomb explosions were done by a radical group of Jema’ah Islamiyah connected to AlQaeda network. Expelling foreigners were done by organized Muslim militas like Front Pembela Islam (Islam Defenders Front) and Laskar Jihad. Burning American flag and sealing American fastfood franchise in Indonesia, the lowest level of violence, were done by Muslim student organizations conducting demonstration. The movements are identified as responses to War on terror and the targets of the attacks are characterized as American cultural symbols. The components of intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence have been widely studied in the psychological domain of emotional intelligence. Intrapersonal intelligence is closely related to the individual's ability to recognize, regulate, and express one's feelings and emotions. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence with teamwork and the performance of athletes in the sport of karate. This research method is descriptive quantitative with a correlational research design. The population of this research is the beginner karate athletes in the said team number in Cianjur Regency with a total of 21 athletes. With characteristics: (1) Team kata karate athletes in Cianjur Regency who have received an intensive training program, (2) Age level is between 12-16 years, (3) Has practiced karate for at least 1 year, (4) Minimum belt level is yellow. The sampling technique in this study uses total sampling. The conclusion of this study shows that intrapersonal intelligence and interpersonal intelligence have a significant influence on teamwork for team kata athletes in karate sports, teamwork team kata athletes karate can be explained or influenced by variables of intrapersonal intelligence and interpersonal intelligence by 24.9%, while 75.1% is influenced by variables that are not studied, intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence do not have a significant influence on the performance of team athletes in karate, the performance of team athletes in karate is influenced by variables of intrapersonal intelligence and interpersonal intelligence of 0.56 %, while the remaining 99.44% is influenced by variables not examined.

Activities of teacher’s working memory in representing a picture are important in the teaching and learning process. This study aimed to reveal the tendency of teacher’s mental representation and teacher’s teaching styles in biology class using convention pictures. This research used descriptive method. The research was conducted by involving four high school biology volunteer teachers of grade XI from four schools in Lebak, Banten, Indonesia. Teacher’s teaching styles were measured by questionnaires and rubrics adapted from Grasha and teacher’s mental representations were measured using worksheets and rubrics developed based on the Causal Network Elicitation Technique (CNET) model. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively. The results showed two dominant teacher teaching styles; there were expert style and facilitator style. The mental representation of teachers when reading convention picture was in the category of good (2 teachers), adequate (1 teacher) and inadequate (1 teacher). A teacher with expert teaching style tends to have a good mental representation compared to a teacher with facilitator teaching style.

Figurative language is one of the elements of poetry that has become the poets’ way of expressing the art of his poetry and communicating his language to know the poet’s idea. Figurative language can include many words and phrases, and there are several types of figurative language. The primary sources of data are the research is conducted by using descriptive qualitative method. The data sources of this research are taken from the poetry by Kelly Darrow. Then the writersss classify the data using McKenzie’s theory of figurative language that support it. The results of this paper shows there are many types of figurative language in Kelly Darrow’s selected poetry. Kelly Darrow uses metaphor, simile, irony, personification, and hyperbole as figurative language.
