We provide a new existence result for abstract nonlinear operator systems in normed spaces, by means of topological methods. The solution is located within the product of annular regions and conical shells. The theoretical result possesses a wide range of applicability, which, for concreteness, we illustrate in the context of systems of nonlinear Poisson equations subject to homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. For the latter problem we obtain existence and localization of solutions having all components nontrivial. This is also illustrated with an explicit example in which we also furnish a numerically approximated solution, consistent with the theoretical results., Comment: 18 pages, 2 figures

In this paper we obtain new estimates for bilinear pseudodifferential operators with symbol in the class $BS_{1,1}^m$, when both arguments belong to Triebel-Lizorkin spaces of the type $F_{p,q}^{n/p}(\mathbb{R}^n)$. In this paper we establish optimal local and global Besov-Lipschitz and Triebel-Lizorkin estimates for the solutions to linear hyperbolic partial differential equations. In this paper we give an elementary proof for transference of local to global maximal estimates for dispersive PDEs. This is done by transferring local $L^2$ estimates for certain oscillatory integrals with rough phase functions, to the corresponding global estimates. We establish the $L^2$-solvability of Dirichlet, Neumann and regularity problems for divergence-form heat (or diffusion) equations with H\"older-continuous diffusion coefficients, on bounded Lipschitz domains in $\mathbb{R}^n$. This is achieved through the demonstration of invertibility of the relevant layer-potentials which is in turn based on Fredholm theory and a new systematic approach which yields suitable parabolic Rellich-type estimates.

In this paper we establish the boundedness of bilinear paraproducts on local BMO spaces. As applications, we also investigate the boundedness of bilinear Fourier integral operators and bilinear Coifman-Meyer multipliers on these spaces and also obtain a certain end-point result concerning Kato-Ponce type estimates.

We establish the regularity of bilinear Fourier integral operators with bilinear amplitudes in $S^m_{1,0} (n,2)$ and non-degenerate phase functions, from $L^p \times L^q \to L^r$ under the assumptions that $m\leq -(n-1)(|\frac{1}{p}-\frac{1}{2}|+|\frac{1}{q}-\frac{1}{2}|)$ and $\frac{1}{p}+\frac{1}{q}=\frac{1}{r}$. This is a bilinear version of the classical theorem of Seeger-Sogge-Stein concerning the $L^p$ boundedness of linear Fourier integral operators. We study the boundedness of rough Fourier integral and pseudodifferential operators, defined by general rough H\"ormander class amplitudes, on Banach and quasi-Banach $L^p$ spaces. Thereafter we apply the aforementioned boundedness in order to improve on some of the existing boundedness results for H\"ormander class bilinear pseudodifferential operators and certain classes of bilinear (as well as multilinear) Fourier integral operators. For these classes of amplitudes, the boundedness of the aforementioned Fourier integral operators turn out to be sharp. We obtain restriction results of K. de Leeuw's type for maximal operators defined through multilinear Fourier multipliers of either strong or weak type acting on weighted Lebesgue spaces. We give some application of our development. In particular we obtain periodic weighted results for Coifman-Meyer, H\"ormander and H\"ormander-Mihlin type multilinear multipliers.

We prove the global $L^2 \times L^2 \to L^1$ boundedness of bilinear Fourier integral operators with amplitudes in $S^0_{1,0} (n,2)$. To achieve this, we require that the phase function can be written as $(x,\xi,\eta) \mapsto \phase_1(x,\xi) + \phase_2(x,\eta)$ where each $\phase_j$ belongs to the class $\Phi^2$ and satisfies the strong non-degeneracy condition. We study the global boundedness of bilinear and multilinear Fourier integral operators on Banach and quasi-Banach $L^p$ spaces, where the amplitudes of the operators are smooth or rough in the spatial variables. The results are obtained by proving suitable global boundedness of rough linear Fourier integral operators with amplitudes that behave as $L^{p}$ functions in the spatial variables. The bilinear and multilinear boundedness estimates are proven by using either an iteration procedure or decomposition of the amplitudes, and thereafter applying our global results for linear Fourier integral operators with rough amplitudes., Comment: 35 pages
