In this paper, we study a special type of compact Hermitian manifolds that are Strominger Kähler-like, or SKL for short. This condition means that the Strominger connection (also known as Bismut connection) is Kähler-like, in the sense that its curvature tensor obeys all the symmetries of the curvature of a Kähler manifold. Previously, we have shown that any SKL manifold ( M n , g ) (M^n,g) is always pluriclosed, and when the manifold is compact and g g is not Kähler, it cannot admit any balanced or strongly Gauduchon (in the sense of Popovici) metric. Also, when n = 2 n=2 , the SKL condition is equivalent to the Vaisman condition. In this paper, we give a classification for compact non-Kähler SKL manifolds in dimension 3 3 and those with degenerate torsion in higher dimensions. We also present some properties about SKL manifolds in general dimensions, for instance, given any compact non-Kähler SKL manifold, its Kähler form represents a non-trivial Aeppli cohomology class, the metric can never be locally conformal Kähler when n ≥ 3 n\geq 3 , and the manifold does not admit any Hermitian symplectic metric.

Invariants for Riemann surfaces covered by the disc and for hyperbolic manifolds in general involving minimizing the measure of the image over the homotopy and homology classes of closed curves and maps of the $k$-sphere into the manifold are investigated. The invariants are monotonic under holomorphic mappings and strictly monotonic under certain circumstances. Applications to holomorphic maps of annular regions in $\mathbb{C}$ and tubular neighborhoods of compact totally real submanifolds in general in $\mathbb{C}^n$, $n \geq 2$, are given. This paper deals with a limiting case motivated by contact geometry. The limiting case of a tensorial characterization of contact hypersurfaces in Kahler manifolds leads to Hopf hypersurfaces whose maximal complex subbundle of the tangent bundle is integrable. It is known that in non-flat complex space forms and in complex quadrics such real hypersurfaces do not exist, but the existence problem in other irreducible Kahler manifolds is open. In this paper we construct explicitly a one-parameter family of homogeneous Hopf hypersurfaces, whose maximal complex subbundle of the tangent bundle is integrable, in a Hermitian symmetric space of non-compact type and rank two. We compute the hybrid limit (in the sense of Boucksom-Jonsson) of the family of K\"ahler-Einstein volume forms on a degeneration of canonically polarized manifolds. The limit measure is a weighted sum of Dirac masses at divisorial valuations, determined by the natural algebro-geometric limit of the family. We also make some remarks on the non-archimedean Monge-Amp\`ere operator and hybrid continuity of K\"ahler-Einstein potentials in this context.

We prove the convergence of the normalized Fubini-Study measures and the logarithms of the Bergman kernels of various Bergman spaces of holomorphic and weakly holomorphic sections associated to a singular Hermitian holomorphic line bundle on an algebraic curve. In 1985 Diederich and Ohsawa proved that every disc bundle over a compact Kähler manifold is weakly 1-complete. In this paper, under certain conditions we generalize this result to the case of fiber bundles over compact Kähler manifolds whose fibers are bounded symmetric domains. Moreover if the bundle is obtained by the diagonal action on the product of irreducible bounded symmetric domains, we show that it is hyperconvex.

The Geometric Shafarevich Conjecture and the Theorem of de Franchis state the finiteness of the number of certain holomorphic objects on closed or punctured Riemann surfaces. The analog of these kind of theorems for Riemann surfaces of second kind is an estimate of the number of irreducible holomorphic objects up to homotopy (or isotopy, respectively). This analog can be interpreted as a quantitatve statement on the limitation for Gromov's Oka principle. For any finite open Riemann surface $X$ (maybe, of second kind) we give an effective upper bound for the number of irreducible holomorphic mappings up to homotopy from $X$ to the twice punctured complex plane, and an effective upper bound for the number of irreducible holomorphic torus bundles up to isotopy on such a Riemann surface. The bound depends on a conformal invariant of the Riemann surface. If $X_{\sigma}$ is the $\sigma$-neighbourhood of a skeleton of an open Riemann surface with finitely generated fundamental group, then the number of irreducible holomorphic mappings up to homotopy from $X_{\sigma}$ to the twice punctured complex plane grows exponentially in $\frac{1}{\sigma}$., Comment: 51 pages, 4 figures

We revisit construction of the Atiyah-Hitchin manifold in the generalized Legendre transform approach. This is originally studied by Ivanov and Rocek and is subsequently investigated more by Ionas, in the latter of which the explicit forms of the K\"ahler potential and the K\"ahler metric are calculated. There is a difference between the former and the latter. In the generalized Legendre transform approach, a K\"ahler potential is constructed from the contour integration of one function with holomorphic coordinates. The choice of the contour in the latter is different from the former's one, whose difference may yield a discrepancy in the K\"ahler potential and eventually in the K\"ahler metric. We show that the former only gives the real K\"ahler potential, which is consistent with its definition, while the latter yields the complex one. We derive the K\"ahler potential and the metric for the Atiyah-Hitchin manifold in terms of holomorphic coordinates for the contour considered by Ivanov and Ro\v{c}ek for the first time., Comment: 30 pages, 3 figures. A Hopf manifold is a quotient of $C^n\backslash 0$ by the cyclic group generated by a holomorphic contraction. Hopf manifolds are diffeomorphic to $S^1\times S^{2n-1}$ and hence do not admit Kahler metrics. It is known that Hopf manifolds defined by linear contractions (called linear Hopf manifolds) have locally conformally Kahler (LCK) metrics. In this paper we prove that the Hopf manifolds defined by non-linear holomorphic contractions admit holomorphic embeddings into linear Hopf manifolds, and, moreover they admit LCK metrics., 11 pages, Latex (no change in the article, but the title in the submission was wrong)

Munteanu defined the canonical connection associated to a strongly pseudoconvex complex Finsler manifold $(M,F)$. We first prove that the holomorphic sectional curvature tensors of the canonical connection coincide with those of the Chern-Finsler connection associated to $F$ if and only if $F$ is a K\"ahler-Finsler metric. We also investigate the relationship of the Ricci curvatures (resp. scalar curvatures) of these two connections when $M$ is compact. As an application, two characterizations of balanced complex Finsler metrics are given. Next, we obtain a sufficient and necessary condition for a balanced complex Finsler metric to be K\"ahler-Finsler. Let $f\colon M^{2n}\to\mathbb{R}^{2n+4}$ be an isometric immersion of a Kaehler manifold of complex dimension $n\geq 5$ into Euclidean space with complex rank at least $5$ everywhere. Our main result is that, along each connected component of an open dense subset of $M^{2n}$, either $f$ is holomorphic in $\mathbb{R}^{2n+4}\cong\mathbb{C}^{n+2}$ or it is in a unique way a composition $f=F\circ h$ of isometric immersions. In the latter case, we have that $h\colon M^{2n}\to N^{2n+2}$ is holomorphic and $F\colon N^{2n+2}\to\mathbb{R}^{2n+4}$ belongs to the class, by now quite well understood, of non-holomorphic Kaehler submanifold in codimension two. We study restriction of logarithmic Higgs bundles to the boundary divisor and we construct the corresponding nearby-cycles functor in positive characteristic. As applications we prove some strong semipositivity theorems for analogs of complex polarized variations of Hodge structures and their generalizations. The aim of present study is to introduce the idea of a lightlike submersion onto an indefinite almost Hermitian manifold from a radical transversal lightlike submanifold of an indefinite Kaehler manifold. We show that if an indefinite almost Hermitian manifold B admits a lightlike submersion φ : K → B of a radical transversal lightlike submanifold K of an indefinite Kaehler manifold then B must be an indefinite Kaehler manifold. We also establish the relation between the holomorphic sectional and holomorphic bisectional curvature of Κ and B.

In this article, we give an overview of the most significant and important results on holomorphic extensions of functions along a fixed direction. We discuss the following geometric questions of multidimensional complex analysis: holomorphic extension along a bundle of complex straight line, the Forelly theorem; holomorphic continuation of functions with thin singularities along a fixed direction; holomorphic continuation of functions along a family of analytic curves.

As is well known, the holomorphic sectional curvature is just half of the sectional curvature in a holomorphic plane section on a Kähler manifold (Zheng, Complex differential geometry (2000)). In this article, we prove that if the holomorphic sectional curvature is half of the sectional curvature in a holomorphic plane section on a Hermitian manifold then the Hermitian metric is Kähler.

We introduce bi-slant $\xi^{\perp}$-Riemannian submersions from Sasakian manifolds onto Riemannian manifolds as a generalization of slant and semi-slant $\xi^{\perp}$-Riemannian submersion. We give an example and investigate the geometry foliations. After we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions related to totally geodesicness of submersion. Let $M$ be a complex manifold. We prove that a compact submanifold $S\subset M$ with splitting tangent sequence (called a splitting submanifold) is rational homogeneous when $M$ is in a large class of rational homogeneous spaces of Picard number one. Moreover, when $M$ is irreducible Hermitian symmetric, we prove that $S$ must be also Hermitian symmetric. The basic tool we use is the restriction and projection map $\pi$ of the global holomorphic vector fields on the ambient space which is induced from the splitting condition. The usage of global holomorphic vector fields may help us set up a new scheme to classify the splitting submanifolds in explicit examples, as an example we give a differential geometric proof for the classification of compact splitting submanifolds with $\dim\geq 2$ in a hyperquadric, which has been previously proven using algebraic geometry.

We construct almost holomorphic and holomorphic modular forms by considering theta series for quadratic forms of signature $(n-1,1)$. We include homogeneous and spherical polynomials in the definition of the theta series (generalizing a construction of the second author) to obtain holomorphic, almost holomorphic and modular theta series. We give a criterion for these series to coincide, enabling us to construct almost holomorphic and holomorphic cusp forms on congruence subgroups of the modular group. For a smooth strictly pseudoconvex hypersurface in a complex manifold, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for being CR-diffeomorphic to a real-analytic CR manifold. Our condition amounts to a holomorphic extension property for the canonically associated function expressing $2$-jets of the formal Segre varieties in terms of their $1$-jets. We prove a sharp lower bound for the Tanaka-Webster holomorphic sectional curvature of strictly pseudoconvex real hypersurfaces that are "semi-isometrically" immersed in a K\"ahler manifold of nonnegative holomorphic sectional curvature under an appropriate convexity condition. This gives a partial answer to a question posed by Chanillo, Chiu, and Yang regarding the positivity of the Tanaka-Webster scalar curvature of the boundary of a strictly convex domain in $\mathbb{C}^2$ from 2012. In fact, the main result proves a stronger positivity property, namely the $\frac12$-positivity in the sense of Cao, Chang, and Chen, for compact "convex" real hypersurfaces in a K\"ahler manifold of nonnegative holomorphic sectional curvature. Symplectic realization is a longstanding problem which can be traced back to Sophus Lie. In this paper, we present an explicit solution to this problem for an arbitrary holomorphic Poisson manifold. More precisely, for any holomorphic Poisson manifold $(X, \pi)$, we prove that there exists a holomorphic symplectic structure in a neighborhood $Y$ of the zero section of $T^*X$ such that the projection map is a symplectic realization of the given Poisson manifold, and moreover the zero section is a holomorphic Lagrangian submanifold. Let $(M,h)$ be a Hermitian manifold and $\psi$ a smooth weight function on $M$. The $\partial$-complex on weighted Bergman spaces $A^2_{(p,0)}(M,h, e^{-\psi})$ of holomorphic $(p,0)$-forms was recently studied in [[10] and [9]. It was shown that if $h$ is K\"ahler and a suitable density condition holds, the $\partial$-complex exhibits an interesting holomorphicity/duality property when $(\bar\partial\psi)^{\sharp}$ is holomorphic (i.e., when the real gradient field $\mathrm{grad}_h\psi$ is a real holomorphic vector field). For general Hermitian metrics this property does not hold without the holomorphicity of the torsion tensor $T_p{}^{rs}$. In this paper, we investigate the existence of real-valued weight functions with real holomorphic gradient fields on K\"ahler and conformally K\"ahler manifolds and their relationship to the $\partial$-complex on weighted Bergman spaces. For K\"ahler metrics with multi-radial potential functions on $\mathbb C^n$ we determine all multi-radial weight functions with real holomorphic gradient fields. For conformally K\"ahler metrics on complex space forms we first identify the metrics having holomorphic torsion leading to several interesting examples such as the Hopf manifold $\mathbb{S}^{2n-1} \times \mathbb{S}^1$, and the "half" hyperbolic metric on the unit ball. For some of these metrics, we further determine weight functions $\psi$ with real holomorphic gradient fields. They provide a wealth of triples $(M,h,e^{-\psi})$ of Hermitian non-K\"ahler manifolds with weights for which the $\partial$-complex exhibits the aforementioned holomorphicity/duality property. We study generalized Cauchy-Riemann (GCR)-lightlike submanifolds of indefinite Kaehler manifolds admitting a quarter-symmetric non-metric connection. We derive a condition for a totally umbilical GCR-lightlike submanifold of indefinite Kaehler manifolds admitting a quarter-symmetric non-metric connection to be a totally geodesic submanifold. We study minimal GCR-lightlike submanifolds and obtain characterization theorem for a GCR-lightlike submanifold to be a GCR-lightlike product manifold.

We construct special Lagrangian 3-spheres in non-K\"ahler compact threefolds equipped with the Fu-Li-Yau geometry. These non-K\"ahler geometries emerge from topological transitions of compact Calabi-Yau threefolds. This paper is devoted to studying some applications of the Bochner-Kodaira-Morrey-Kohn identity. For this study, we define a condition which is called (Hq) condition which is related to the Levi form on the complex manifold. Under the (Hq) condition and combining with the basic Bochner-Kodaira-Morrey-Kohn identity, we study the L2 ∂ Cauchy problems on domains in ℂn, Kähler manifold and in projective space. Also, we study this problem on a piecewise smooth strongly pseudoconvex domain in a complex manifold. Furthermore, the weighted L2 ∂ Cauchy problem is studied under the same condition in a Kähler manifold with semi-positive holomorphic bisectional curvature. On the other hand, we study the global regularity and the L2 theory for the ∂-operator with mixed boundary conditions on an annulus domain in a Stein manifold between an inner domain which satisfy (Hn−q−1) and an outer domain which satisfy (Hq).

We study the convergence rate of Bergman metrics on the class of polarized pointed K\"ahler $n$-manifolds $(M,L,g,x)$ with $\mathrm{Vol}\left( B_1 (x) \right) >v $ and $|\sec |\leq K $ on $M$. Relying on Tian's peak section method [Tian, 1990], we show that the $C^{1,\alpha }$ convergence of Bergman metrics is uniform. Given an ample real Hermitian holomorphic line bundle $L$ over a real algebraic variety $X$, the space of real holomorphic sections of $L^{\otimes d}$ inherits a natural Gaussian probability measure. We prove that the probability that the zero locus of a real holomorphic section $s$ of $L^{\otimes d}$ defines a maximal hypersurface tends to $0$ exponentially fast as $d$ goes to infinity. This extends to any dimension a result of Gayet and Welschinger valid for maximal real algebraic curves inside a real algebraic surface. The starting point is a low degree approximation property which relates the topology of the real vanishing locus of a real holomorphic section of $L^{\otimes d}$ with the topology of the real vanishing locus a real holomorphic section of $L^{\otimes d'}$ for a sufficiently smaller $d', Comment: 16 pages. We use the Dolbeault cohomology to investigate the Koszul-Brylinski homology on holomorphic Poisson manifolds. We obtain the Leray-Hirsch theorem for Hochschild homology and the Mayer-Vietoris sequence, K\"{u}nneth theorem for holomorphic Koszul-Brylinski homology. In particular, we show some relations of holomorphic Koszul-Brylinski homologies around a blow-up transformation for the general case (\emph{not necessarily compact}) by our previous works on the Dolbeault cohomology., Comment: 15 pages

In this paper, we establish a deformation theory for Dolbeault cohomology classes valued in holomorphic tensor bundles. We prove the extension equation which will play the role of Maurer-Cartan equation. Following the classical theory of Kodaira-Spencer-Kuranishi, we construct a canonical complete family of deformations by using the power series method. We also prove a simple relation between the existence of deformations and the varying of the dimensions of Dolbeault cohomology. The deformations of $(p,q)$-forms is shown to be unobstructed under some mild conditions. By analyzing Nakamura's example of complex parallelizable manifolds, we will see that the deformation theory developed in this work provides precise explanations to the jumping phenomenon of Dolbeault cohomology., 46 pages, published version (https://doi.org/10.1007/s00209-021-02900-w)

In this paper, we extend the concept of holomorphic curves sharing hyperplanes and introduce definitions of restricted hyperplanes and partial shared hypersurfaces. Then, we prove several normal criteria of the family of holomorphic curves and holomorphic mappings that concern restricted hyperplanes and partial shared hypersurfaces. These results generalize the Montel-type normal criterion of holomorphic curves.

The first part of this paper is a generalization of the Feix-Kaledin theorem on the existence of a hyperkahler metric on a neighbourhood of the zero section of the cotangent bundle of a Kahler manifold. We show that the problem of constructing a hyperkahler structure on a neighbourhood of a complex Lagrangian submanifold in a holomorphic symplectic manifold reduces to the existence of certain deformations of holomorphic symplectic structures. The Feix-Kaledin structure is recovered from the twisted cotangent bundle. We then show that every holomorphic symplectic groupoid over a compact holomorphic Poisson surface of Kahler type has a hyperkahler structure on a neighbourhood of its identity section. More generally, we reduce the existence of a hyperkahler structure on a symplectic realization of a holomorphic Poisson manifold of any dimension to the existence of certain deformations of holomorphic Poisson structures adapted from Hitchin's unobstructedness theorem., 20 pages. In this paper (ϕ, ϕ0 )-holomorphic maps from an almost paraHermitian manifold to an almost paracontact metric manifold are studied and a criterion for the harmonicity of such (ϕ, ϕ0 )-holomorphic maps is obtained. Also (ϕ, ϕ0 )-holomorphic sections of (semi−Riemannian) almost paracontact fiber bundles of type II are studied and a criterion for the harmonicity of such (ϕ, ϕ0 )-holomorphic sections is obtained.

We consider an embedded n-dimensional compact complex manifold in $$n+d$$ dimensional complex manifolds. We are interested in the holomorphic classification of neighborhoods as part of Grauert’s formal principle program. We will give conditions ensuring that a neighborhood of $$C_n$$ in $$M_{n+d}$$ is biholomorphic to a neighborhood of the zero section of its normal bundle. This extends Arnold’s result about neighborhoods of a complex torus in a surface. We also prove the existence of a holomorphic foliation in $$M_{n+d}$$ having $$C_n$$ as a compact leaf, extending Ueda’s theory to the high codimension case. Both problems appear as a kind of linearization problems involving small divisors condition arising from solutions to their cohomological equations.

We introduce the conformally balanced condition on almost Hermitian manifolds. We show that a compact Kahler-like and G-Kahler-like almost Hermitian manifold with the conformally balanced condition becomes Kahler.

Suppose that $M$ is a Kähler manifold with a pole such that its holomorphic sectional curvature is bounded from below by a constant and its radial sectional curvature is also bounded from below. Suppose that $N$ is a strongly pseudoconvex complex Finsler manifold such that its holomorphic sectional curvature is bounded from above by a negative constant. In this paper, we establish a Schwarz lemma for holomorphic mappings $f$ form $M$ into $N$. Let $M$ be a super Riemann surface with holomorphic distribution $\mathcal{D}$ and $N$ a symplectic manifold with compatible almost complex structure $J$. We call a map $\Phi\colon M\to N$ a super $J$-holomorphic curve if its differential maps the almost complex structure on $\mathcal{D}$ to $J$. Such a super $J$-holomorphic curve is a critical point for the superconformal action and satisfies a super differential equation of first order. We give an optimal upper bound of the degree of quasi-smooth hypersurfaces which are invariant by a one-dimensional holomorphic foliation on a compact toric orbifold, i.e. on a complete simplicial toric variety. This bound depends only on the degree of the foliation and of the degrees of the toric homogeneous coordinates.

We construct families of convex domains that are biholomorphic to bounded domains, but not bounded convex domains. This is accomplished by finding an obstruction related to the Gromov hyperbolicity of the Kobayashi metric.

We consider degenerate Monge-Amp\`ere equations on compact Hessian manifolds. We establish compactness properties of the set of normalized quasi-convex functions and show local and global comparison principles for twisted Monge-Amp\`ere operators. We then use the Perron method to solve Monge-Amp\`ere equations whose RHS involves an arbitrary probability measure, generalizing works of Cheng-Yau, Delano\"e, Caffarelli-Viaclovsky and Hultgren-\"Onnheim. The intrinsic approach we develop should be useful in deriving similar results on mildly singular Hessian varieties, in line with the Strominger-Yau-Zaslow conjecture.

We investigate the geometry and topology of submanifolds under a sharp pinching condition involving extrinsic invariants like the mean curvature and the length of the second fundamental form. Several homology vanishing results are given. Moreover, an integral bound is provided for the Bochner operator of compact Euclidean submanifolds in terms of the Betti numbers.

We study pseudonorms on pluricanonical bundles over Stein manifolds. We prove that the pseudonorms determine holomorphic structures of Stein manifolds under certain assumptions. This theorem is based on and a generalization of the result obtained by Deng, Wang, Zhang and Zhou \cite{DWZZ} for bounded domains in $\mathbb{C}^n$. We also investigate Stein morphisms and the pseudonorms on direct images of pluricanonical bundles. Our main goal in this paper is to show that the pseudonorms also determine holomorphic structures of Stein morphisms. We introduce sequential warped product submanifolds of Kaehler manifolds, provide examples and establish Chen's inequality for such submanifolds. The equality case is also studied. Moreover, inspired by Lawson and Simons's integral currrent's theorem on a submanifold, we find a similar pinching inequality for a sequential warped product submanifold and obtain geometric results when the equality case is satisfied.

We have studied $$\upsilon $$ -pointwise bi-slant Lorentzian submersions from LP-Sasakian manifolds giving examples to ensure their existence. The geometry of foliations of such submersions are investigated. Totally geodesicness and harmonicity of these submersions are also studied.

We consider 6-dimensional planar submanifolds of Cayley algebra. As it is known, the so-called Brown — Gray three-fold vector cross prod­ucts induce almost Hermitian structures on such submanifolds. We select the case when the almost Hermitian structures on 6-dimensional planar submanifolds of Cayley algebra are Hermitian, i. e. these structures are in­tegrable. It is proved that the Hermitian structure on a 6-dimensional planar submanifold of Cayley algebra is stable if and only if such submanifold is totally geodesic.

А non-holonomic Kenmotsu manifold equipped with a connection analogous to the generalized Tanaka — Webster connection, is consid­ered. The studied connection is obtained from the generalized Tanaka — Webster connection by replacing the first structural endomorphism by the second structural endomorphism. The obtained connection is also called in the work the generalized Tanaka — Webster connection. Unlike a Kenmotsu manifold, the structure form of a non-holonomic Kenmotsu manifold is not closed. The consequence of this single differ­ence is a significant discrepancy in the properties of such manifolds. For example, it is proved in the paper that the alternation of the Ricci-Schouten tensor of a non-holonomic Kenmotsu manifold, which is a transverse analogue of the Ricci tensor, is proportional to the external differential of the structural form. At the same time, in the classical case of a Kenmotsu manifold, the Ricci — Schouten tensor is a symmetric tensor. It is proved that a Tanaka — Webster connection is a metric connec­tion. It is also proved that from the fact that the alternation of the Ricci-Schouten tensor is proportional to the external differential of the structur­al form, the following statement holds: if a non-holonomic Kenmotsu manifold is an Einstein manifold with respect to the generalized Tanaka — Webster connection, then it is Ricci-flat with respect to the same con­nection.
