This research explores the impact of social capital on the adoption of digital applications within Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In the current competitive environment, embracing digitalization is essential for improving the competitiveness of MSMEs; however, challenges such as weak social networks can impede technology uptake. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study distributed questionnaires to 160 MSME participants, with data analysed through path analysis using SmartPLS. The findings indicate that social capital—which includes relationships, networks, and trust among business stakeholders—plays a critical role in facilitating access to and adoption of digital applications. Results suggest that MSMEs with strong social networks are more adept at integrating digital technologies, fostering innovation, and improving overall business performance. The study recommends initiatives to enhance collaboration and strengthen social networks among MSMEs to support their digitalization efforts. Ultimately, this research deepens the understanding of social capital's influence on MSME digitalization and offers practical strategies for stakeholders to increase the utilization of digital applications in this sector.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ease of use, transaction success rate, and technological system capability on trust and to determine the effect of ease of use, transaction success rate, technology system capability and interest in transaction using mobile banking. This research was conducted at PT Bank NIAGA which is located in Denpasar. The data collection technique used a questionnaire to 160 PT Bank NIAGA customers who were selected as samples. Data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS program. Ease of use, transaction success rate, and technology system capability have a positive and significant influence on trust and interest in transacting using mobile banking. This means that the better the ease of use, the success rate of transactions, and the capability of the technology system, the higher the customer trust and interest in transactions using mobile banking.

Purchasing decisions on the Traveloka application has experienced a significant decline since the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. Ticket returns and refunds that occur due to travel restrictions have resulted in a decline in Traveloka's brand image. This study aims to analyze how brand image mediates the effect of perceived ease of use, electronic word of mouth and content marketing towards ticket purchasing decisions on the Traveloka application which was conducted on 130 respondents using the Traveloka application. The research was conducted in June 2021 with data analysis using SmartPLS 3.2.0 software. The results show that perceived ease of use had a negative impact on purchasing decisions, either directly or indirectly through brand image. Electronic word of mouth had a positive impact on purchasing decisions either directly or indirectly through brand image. Content marketing had a negative and significant impact on purchasing decisions, while indirectly through brand image had a positive and significant impact. The role of brand image was very important in increasing the effect of perceived ease of use, electronic word of mouth and content marketing towards purchasing decisions.

Women entrepreneurs and the informal sector are looking for footholds in the COVID-19 pandemic, which will lead women to develop creative businesses. This study examines the role of sharing knowledge and innovation in addressing gaps in social capital and marketing performance. Purposive sampling is used in the technique sample with 229 samples and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) analysis techniques with SmartPLS is used for processing applications. The results show that social capital has a positive effect on the business performance of women entrepreneurs in Bali, Indonesia. The knowledge-sharing variable can be a mediator in the relationship between social capital and performance, and social capital has a significant positive effect on innovation, but innovation does not have a positive effect on marketing performance and knowledge sharing. In the end, women entrepreneurs will use knowledge sharing to create various innovations to meet market demand. However, opportunities for women entrepreneurs are very limited on capital due to the lack of guaranteed capital, and a lack of entrepreneurial skills in the era of technology, market access, bureaucracy, and legal matters. In addition, managerial skills, access to information technology, and the perspective that men should excel in Balinese culture and customs, limit business for women entrepreneurs.

To conduct business in the global market in the era of digitalization, hotels need to pay more attention to the complaint behavior of guests with different cultures to adjust their methods of handling these complaints. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Hofstede's five cultural dimensions on the complaint behavior of guests. This study also offers strategic solutions for hoteliers in facing various kinds of complaint behavior from guests with different cultures. This research was conducted on tourists who have stayed in five-star hotels in Badung Regency – Bali, with a total sample of 110 respondents. The data were col-lected through questionnaires. The data analysis was performed using the structural equation model (SEM) with the partial least square (PLS) approach. The results of this study indicate that the power distance cultural dimension has a significant influence on public action and private action. Uncertainty avoidance, individualism versus collectivism, and long term versus short term orientation dimension have a significant influence on public action and private action. The culture of masculinity versus femininity has a significant influence on private action and no action.

In a turbulent business environment, company personnel are required to always make continuous improvements to the systems and processes used to generate value for customers and connect the performance of their employees. The purpose of the study was to analyze the extent of connectivity continuous improvement program and employee performance. The subjects of the study were employees of PT Kitadin Site Embalut located in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province (Indonesia). Determination of the sample using probability sampling techniques totaling 60 employees and data processed through Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The conclusions obtained based on field interviews is: employee development and training variables, improvement of work quality and productivity, and building cooperation between work teams has a significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, employee involvement in problem solving and good communication has no significant effect on employee performance. Employee involvement in organizational events is expected not only to the same person continuously, but in rotation. The things that need to be improved are that each employee must be able to openly communicate with fellow colleagues, as long as it is related to work related to the company. Culture is the most critical thing when driving innovation. This paper aims to discuss the counter-hegemony of Drama Gong against modern entertainment arts today with the dynamics of openness innovation. The research method used is qualitative and uses triangulation analysis. Basic qualitative data were obtained by examining two stories of Drama Gong, namely: (1) Angling Dharma (the 1980s) and (2) Jayaprana (2020). Data were collected through observation, document review, and interviews with artists and art observers of the Drama Gong culture of Bali. Qualitative descriptive analysis was carried out by applying the theory of semiotics and the theory of symbolic interaction. The results showed that to maintain its existence since the 1980s Drama Gong performance art has been revitalized as a form of counter-hegemony to today’s modern entertainment arts. The counter-hegemony concerns three things, namely: (1) the innovation of Drama Gong performance art, (2) the application of new technology to support the packaging and performance of the Drama Gong, and (3) efforts to maintain the function of the Drama Gong as a way to teach Balinese culture.

Customs and culture should create women’s independence to actualize themselves in an era of emerging social progress in order to lead to the domination of women in the development of creative businesses. This research examines the role of social capital and whether it becomes a supporting or hindering factor in developing the creative industry of women entrepreneurs by examining the role of information sharing and innovations. Employing purposive sampling, questionnaires were distributed to 200 women entrepreneurs, and data were analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling(PLS–SEM)software with SmartPLS Version 3.0. Social capital has a positive influence on the business performance of women entrepreneurs in Bali, Indonesia. Thus, the beliefs and norms that exist in the social capital of the Balinese Hindu concept can filter the information obtained from various information in business, which will ultimately be utilized by women entrepreneurs to create various innovations to meet the market demand. However, opportunities for women entrepreneurs are very limited to capital due to lack of guarantees to get capital, and a lack of entrepreneurship skills in the technological era, market access, bureaucracy, and legalization. Further, managerial skills, access to information technology, as well as the perspective that the men must be superior in Balinese culture and customs, make business for women entrepreneurs limited.
