One of the literary genres in the history of Islamic thought is works related to politics and administration. Islamic thinkers have written hundreds of works in this field, many of which have served as essential resources for numerous sultāns and viziers. One such thinker who wrote original works according to his own thought system is Muhyi al-Dīn Ibn al-Arabī (d. 1240). Ibn al-Arabī expresses very unique ideas in his one-volume work al-Tadbīrāt al-İlāhīyya fi Islāh al-Mamlaka al-İnsāniyya, which he dedicated to these topics, and in his encyclopedic work al-Futuhāt al-Makkiyya, consisting of 37 notebooks. In our study, we will primarily try to identify his views and influences based on these two works. We will especially examine his views on politics and administration within the framework of his famous theory of Wahdat al-Wujūd (Unity of Existence). This is because Ibn al-Arabī sees this world as a reflection of the supreme realms. According to him, the beings and events in this world are merely interactions of what he calls "levels of existence" that are arranged hierarchically. According to him, the interaction and hierarchy between the essence-attributes-names at the higher levels is reflected in the interaction between the spirit, soul and body at the lower levels, albeit with different reflections. Pamuk üretimi üzerine yapılan çalışmalar, pamuk yetiştiriciliğinin yüksek su tüketimine sahip olduğunu dolayısıyla, özellikle kurak bölgelerde su kaynaklarının sürdürülebilirliği üzerinde olumsuz bir etkiye sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Pamuk sulamasında ihtiyaç duyulan suyun az olduğu bölgelerin tespit edilmesi, ülke bazında su kaynaklarının korunması adına önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Türkiye'deki pamuk üretiminin yeşil ve mavi su kullanımı üzerinde derinlemesine bir analiz sunarak su ve tarım yönetimi çalışmalarına katkı sağlamaktır. Bu bağlamda ulusal iklim ve bitki verileri sanal su (SS) ve su ayak izi (SA) metodu kapsamında analiz edilmiştir. ArcMap 10.7 yazılımı ve alansal interpolasyon araçları kullanılarak ülke genelinde ekimi yapılan pamuğun yeşil ve mavi su ayak izi yüksek mekânsal ve zamansal çözünürlükle hesaplanmış, sonuçlar 24 il ve 141 ilçe genelinde görselleştirilmiştir. Buna göre, 2019-2023 yılları arasındaki üretim verileri dikkate alındığında Türkiye genelinde yıllık kütlü pamuk üretimine yaklaşık 3.68 milyar m3 mavi suyun harcandığı görülmektedir. Tarladaki pamuğun birim yeşil ve mavi su ayak izleri ise ortalama 205 ve 1641 m3/ton olarak bulunmuştur. Hali hazırda Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır ve Aydın illeri, ülke için en önemli pamuk ekim merkezleri olup, pamuk yetiştiriciliği için tüketilen suyun yarıya yakını Şanlıurfa ilinde kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre, pamuk üretiminde kullanılan birim mavi su (m3/ton), bazı bölgelerde iki katına kadar çıkmakta, bu durum özellikle toprak neminin az olduğu kurak bölgelerde aşırı miktarda su tüketilmesine sebep olmaktadır. Buna göre, Türkiye’deki pamuk yetiştiriciliğinin Güneydoğu bölgesinden Çukurova bölgesine kaydırılması, ülkenin su kaynaklarının korunması adına önemli bir strateji olacaktır. Bu çalışmada pamuğun su tüketimini azaltmaya yönelik stratejiler de tartışılmıştır.

The article aims to find sound approaches to tackling the challenges related to the lagging development of rural areas and their spatial compression due to the outflow of the most active rural population. For this purpose, the author perform an analysis of the experience accumulated by the EU countries, the USA, "Russia and Türkiye and come to the conclusion that any sectoral and redistributive approaches to managing the sustainable development of rural areas are ineffective and can only be considered as complementary to the territorial approach, which is based on the development of competitive advantages of the rural areas. The author consider such components of the territorial approach as the establishment of a hierarchical system of supporting rural settlements and the involvement of local communities in the development of rural areas. The purpose of this article is to examine the relationships and impact of organizational agility and crisis management in insurance companies by measuring them. The significance of this study is as follows: As there is no quantitative study in the management literature that addresses organizational agility and crisis management in insurance companies, this study contributes to filling this gap in the literature. The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of organizational agility on crisis management processes within the insurance industry. The methodology employed in this research comprises the collection and analysis of data through a review of the relevant literature and the administration of surveys or interviews to companies operating within the insurance sector. In the context of the dynamic environment of the insurance industry, the role of organizational agility is of significant importance in the effective management of crises and the development of corporate resilience. The principles of organizational agility can be manifested in a variety of strategies, each tailored to the specific risks present in the insurance industry. The implementation of agile practices may be impeded by factors such as resistance to change, the presence of legacy systems, and regulatory constraints. Overcoming these obstacles therefore depends on the presence of strong leadership, the investment of resources in employee training, and the establishment of a culture of learning. Managers in the insurance industry can enhance their organizations' agility during crises by strengthening their teams, fostering a culture of adaptability, and prioritizing continuous improvement. This study examines the impact of organizational agility on crisis management in the insurance sector. In order to achieve these objectives, the findings were obtained by applying a survey technique to 392 employees in the insurance sector in Istanbul. Yönetim ve kültür bağlantısından hareket eden bu çalışma, Türk toplumunun yönetici kavramına bakış açısını dil üzerinden çözümlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Yönetim, öz itibarıyla iletişimsel bir süreçtir. Yönetim sürecinin temel öznesi olan yönetici ise, iletişimi kullanarak yönetsel işlevleri uygulayan kişidir. Bu anlamıyla yönetici, insanların iş yapmalarını ve amaca ulaşmalarını iletişim aracılığıyla sağlamaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında yönetici kavramı, Türkçede bulunan atasözleri ve deyimler üzerinden incelenmektedir. Atasözleri ve deyimler, bir toplumun geçmişten günümüze uzanan kültürel sürekliliğini, değerlerini ve yönelimlerini ortaya koyan dilsel öğelerdir. Nitel araştırma yaklaşımı doğrultusunda tasarlanan araştırma kapsamında, Türk Dil Kurumu -TDK- Atasözleri ve Deyimler Sözlüğü taranarak yönetici kavramıyla ilgili atasözleri ile deyimler tespit edilmiş ve içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma bulguları, araştırmacılar tarafından alanyazından hareketle oluşturulan kategoriler uyarınca değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın geçerlik ve güvenirliliğini sağlamak amacıyla birden fazla araştırmacının sürece dahil edilmesi ve uzman görüşü alınması gibi yöntemlere başvurulmuştur. Çalışmanın sonuç kısmında elde edilen bulgular tartışılmış ve gelecek araştırmalara yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur. Çalışmada ulaşılan en temel sonuç, yönetici kavramının Türkçede bulunan atasözü ve deyimlerde oldukça önemli bir yer arz etmesidir. Bu bağlamda araştırma bulgularının alanyazın ile koşutluk içinde olduğunu, Türk dilinde yöneticinin işlevine ve iletişimsel rolüne dikkat çeken birçok atasözü ile deyimin bulunduğunu ifade etmek mümkündür.

Araştırma sağlık kurumlarına başvuran hastaların müşteri ilişkileri yönetimi (MİY) uygulamalarına ilişkin algı düzeylerinin, hasta bağlılıklarına etkisinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Aynı zamanda hastaların MİY uygulamalarına ilişkin algı düzeylerinin ve hasta bağlılıklarının sağlık kurumu türüne göre farklılaşma durumu da belirlenmek istenmiştir. Çalışmanın evreni Sivas merkezde son altı ay içerisinde sağlık hizmeti almış 18-65 yaş aralığında okuma yazma bilen bireyler olarak belirlenmiştir. Gönüllü olarak çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 630 hasta araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri yapısal eşitlik modeli ile test edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda; hastaların MİY uygulamalarına ilişkin algı düzeyleri orta seviyede çıkmıştır. Bunun yanında hastaların sağlık kurumuna bağlılık düzeyleri de orta seviyede bulunmuştur. Hastaların MİY uygulamalarına ilişkin algı düzeyleri ve bağlılık düzeyleri sağlık kurumu temelinde incelendiğinde, ölçek genelinde ve alt boyutlarda istatistiksel olarak farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. En yüksek puan ortalamasına sahip olan sağlık kurumu eğitim araştırma hastanesi iken, en düşük puan ortalamasına sahip olan sağlık kurumu özel hastanedir. Son olarak, MİY uygulamalarının etkin olmasının hasta bağlılığını önemli ölçüde artırdığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu bağlamda; sağlık hizmet sunucularının müşteri ilişkileri yönetimi noktasında var olan eksiklerini tespit ederek bu noktalarda gelişim göstermeleri önem arz etmektedir. Araştırma, tek bir şehirde sınırlı örneklem ile yapılmış olması sebebiyle genellenemez.

Bu çalışma, modern yönetim düşüncesinin önemli isimlerinin başında yer alan Peter Drucker’ın farklı bir yönünü ele almaktadır. Drucker yönetim düşüncesi ile ilgili eserlerini yazmadan önce hayatında gazetecilik ve muhabirlik dönemi de yer almaktadır. Drucker’ın gazetecilik ve muhabirlik döneminin yönetim düşüncesi üzerine kaleme aldığı eserlerin oluşmasında etkisi olduğu düşünülmektedir. Buradan hareketle Drucker’ın az bilinen ve çalışmalara az konu olan gazetecilik ve muhabirlik yönünün yönetim alanındaki eserlerindeki etkisi çalışmanın ana odak noktasını oluşturmaktadır. Bir derleme makalesi olan bu çalışmada Drucker’ın bir yönetim düşünürü ve yönetim bilimleri profesörü olmasının yanı sıra bir sosyal bilimci ve ekonomik faaliyetlere ve işletmelere yön veren toplumsal koşulları analiz eden etkili bir iletişimci ve ekonomi habercisi olduğu vurgulanmaktadır. Enformasyon devrimi ışığında değişen toplumsal koşulları titizlikle inceleyen Drucker, girişim merkezli ekonomi, bilgi toplumu ve bilgi işçisi kavramlarını geliştirmektedir. Böylece Drucker, iletişim teknolojilerindeki gelişmelerin ekonomiyi ve örgütlerdeki yönetim anlayışını nasıl etkilediğini incelemektedir. Çalışmada Peter Drucker’ın iletişim, ekonomi ve bilgi toplumu arasında kurduğu ilişki kuramsal olarak tartışılmaktadır.

The main aim of this study is to determine the directors’ senses towards the relation among ethics, social interaction and cyber psychology. Within this scope, the survey form prepared towards this research is applied around six towns of İzmir province between 03/01/2022-14/02/2022. 192 (n=192) directors about 44 female and 148 men are included in the study. The sense of directors’ ethics and cyber psychology importance is determined to be at high level. As a result of factor analysis findings, cyber psychology from the point of gender; varies in dimension of affective-reactional, mechanic-dynamic interaction, motivational contingency and reflexive approach factors, ethics in terms of education and marital status variables; varies in dimension of executive attitudinal determinism, social interaction, cyberpsychology; varies in dimension of effective-reactional, mechanic-dynamic interaction, motivational contingency and reflexive approach factors, it has been observed that there is no differences in terms of age variables. The finding has been reached that graduate participants put more emphasis on the factors. It has been determined that cyberpsychology influences directors negatively in dimension of affective-reactional, mechanic-dynamic interaction, motivational contingency and reflexive approach and there is a positive linear relationship among ethics, social interaction and cyberpsychology. İşveren markalaşmasının önemi gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Şirketler arası yetenek savaşlarının olduğu bu dönemde markalaşmanın sadece ürün veya hizmet açısından değil işveren açısından da ele alınması önem teşkil etmektedir. Hem mevcut çalışanlar hem de potansiyel adaylar, kurumlarının etkinliği ve kendilerine sağlayacağı faydaları göz önünde bulundurmaktadır. Bu yüzden, çalışanların faydasına yönelik yapılacak her faaliyetin ve yaşatılan her deneyimin işveren markalaşmasına olumlu etkileri olmaktadır. Bu durum çalışanların bağlılığına ve motivasyonuna olumlu şekilde etki ettiği gibi potansiyel adayların da işletmeleri tercih etmelerine sebebiyet vermektedir. Rekabetin yoğun bir şekilde yaşandığı ve vasıflı personelin önemli olduğu günümüzde çalışanların işletme ve işveren tercihini etkileyen bazı etkenlerinin olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu bağlamda bu çalışmanın amacı insan kaynakları yöneticilerinin işveren markası uygulamalarına yönelik görüşlerini çalışan deneyimi bağlamında ele alarak ortaya koymaktır. Alan yazında işveren markası yönetiminin çalışan deneyimine yönelik bir çalışmaya rastlanılmamasından ötürü bu çalışmanın literatüre katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Araştırma deseni olarak fenomenolojik desen kullanılmıştır Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Mersin ve Adana illerinde faaliyet gösteren ve insan kaynakları derneklerinde yer alan 8 insan kaynakları yöneticisi oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcılara e-görüşme yöntemi kullanılarak e-mail yoluyla ulaşılmıştır. Toplanan veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Literatür taraması sonucunda işveren markasının üç alt boyutundan oluşturulan sorulara verilen cevapların analizine göre insan kaynakları yöneticilerinin işveren markası boyutlarından fonksiyonel ve ekonomik boyutlara yönelik algı düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Psikolojik boyutta yer alan sosyal sorumluluk ile ilgili farkındalık ve algı düzeylerinin ise düşük olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

The skills possessed by human resources that create added value for businesses affect organizational performance as well as individual performance. University education, which has an important place in the formation of human competencies, is an infrastructure in this context. This research aims to analyze the competencies that the open and distance learning system, which is an important part of higher education in Turkey, provides to learners regarding the concepts of management and strategy. The scope of the research includes Anadolu University Open Education System, which is the first and most established implementer of open education activities in our country. As the data collection method, the programs and course curricula of all faculties in the system were examined with document scanning method. In the study, where the findings were compiled according to the relevant names and contents, categories related to the courses and programs were created and content analysis was carried out. In conclusion, it is seen that management courses are given more space than strategy courses in the relevant programs. Managerial competencies that stand out in the research codes include communication skills, risk taking and information management. Decision-making, problem-solving, visionary, strategic thinking, ethics and sustainability are areas where the curriculum can be strengthened in open and distance learning programs. The ability of students to graduate with the right skills and the ability of newly graduated managerial candidates to find a job and be successful in the institutions they work in is related to these skills. Educational contents, which have many effects from university preferences to meeting the expectations of the business world, need to be well adapted to stakeholder expectations and environmental conditions. The planning concept, which is in the initial stage of the management process, is accepted as a reference point for whether or not the objectives are achieved. Planning functions need to be positioned correctly in order to prepare and design for the future. In this research, the planning function, which is important for management, is discussed in terms of its functioning in distance education institutions that have both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The main purpose of the study is to understand the administrative functioning of institutions conducting distance education activities in Turkey and to examine how the planning function is carried out. Thus, results that concern both management and distance education fields have been achieved. Data was collected through interviews with senior managers in distance education institutions and document scanning. The data obtained is examined with the descriptive analysis method through the themes and codes determined within the scope of the research. The answers given by the participants were systematically organized by using quotations. Operational activities were found to be the decisions most frequently subject to planning in distance education institutions in Turkey according to the study.. It is seen that shorter and medium-term plans are preferred in institutions instead of long-term plans called strategic planning. When looking at the adopted vision and mission statements, it is noteworthy that the institutions have isomorphism as they prefer similar words and contents. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Generative artificial intelligence, which stands out from other AI systems with its ability to generate new and original content, is a disruptive technology that quickly reaches high user rates. Its ease of use and access, insights and predictions, and human-like responses are the features that enhance its rapid spread. Like any new technology, generative AI also brings disadvantages along with its benefits. The academic research conducted in this field is still in the initial stages. The purpose of this research is to understand how generative AI affects the business world through early-stage research. For this purpose, a search was conducted on the Web of Science (WoS) database by following a systematic literature review method, and 14 research articles were defined as analysis units. The data was analyzed by qualitative content analysis. As a result, four main themes were developed: (1) Applications, (2) Disadvantages, (3) Solutions, and (4) Today and future. The findings revealed that generative AI is a disruptive technology with a "double-edged sword" characteristic. While it significantly benefits businesses such as productivity, efficiency, and employee well-being, it also raises ethical and legal issues. The advantages it offers in the short term also have the potential to lead to value destruction in the long term. Motivation is an important concept for individuals. Employee motivation is one of the indispensable elements for the sustainability of both individuals and businesses. Individuals working in businesses operating in the service sector need motivation more, especially since it is a sector with a busy workforce and more contact with customers. From this point of view, the aim of the study is to reveal the evaluations of café operators in the service sector regarding the importance and increase of employee motivation. The study was conducted by applying the interview technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods, to the operators of the 5 most preferred café businesses in Anamur district. Phenomenological design, one of the qualitative research types, was preferred in the study. The data were analyzed by content analysis method. According to the results of the analysis, it was determined that café operators attach importance to the motivation of their employees, are aware of the concept and importance of motivation, and use motivational techniques to increase the motivation of their employees. In addition, in the findings of the research, it was seen that the café employees did not use some motivational methods in the literature. The reason for this is that the individuals working in the café are mostly students and it is thought that they do not use these methods because their goals and expectations differ. In this context, it was seen that the answers given by the participants and the findings supported the importance and methods mentioned in the literature. In addition, since the findings of the study will be shared with café operators, different method suggestions for increasing motivation for operators are presented in the conclusion section. Blockchain technology is generally known as providing the trust created with the help of technology in a virtual environment by eliminating a central structure or working environments. Blockchain addresses a wide and reliable field, from identity recognition to insurance activities. The broadest topic of Blockchain is cryptocurrencies. The fact that cryptocurrencies are on a system and their reliability is still discussed today. In this article, the reflections of Blockchain technology on the finance and public sectors are researched and discussed and evaluated from a management perspective. Blockchain technology has disadvantages as well as advantages it provides to these two sectors. In the financial sector, it affected the banking department the most. Compared to the past, banking has developed with the increase in technology and transactions that took days can now be done on the same day or even within the same minute. We see those transactions such as transferring money between accounts, cashing checks, paying tax debts and paying bills have become easier. Having a digital identity in people's lives makes things easier for public institutions. Thanks to this identity, recognition in private and public institutions has become easier.
