Poduzeća koja posluju ili koja žele poslovati na međunarodnom tržištu moraju kvalitetno upravljati marketinškim miksom (proizvod, cijena, distribucija, promocija). Poduzeće ne može uspješno poslovati na međunarodnom tržištu bez dobro osmišljenog međunarodnog marketinga. Poduzeća kako bi uspješno poslovala na međunarodnom tržištu trebaju proučiti navike i preferencije potrošača, što je potrebno kako bi znala prilagoditi proizvod i oglašavanje međunarodnom tržištu te kako bi provela uspješnu integriranu marketinšku komunikaciju. Kako je tematika ovog rada utjecaj zemlje porijekla na brend, istražilo se kako invazija Rusije na Ukrajinu utječe na poslovanje poduzeća Lukoil Croatia d.o.o. Predmet istraživanja ovog rada je utjecaj zemlje porijekla brenda na percepciju kvalitete brenda od strane potrošača te kako invazija Rusije na Ukrajinu utječe na poslovanje poduzeća Lukoil Croatia d.o.o. Cilja rada je istražiti kako zemlja porijekla utječe na potrošače i njihovu odluku o kupovini te kako invazija Rusije na Ukrajinu utječe na poslovanje poduzeća Lukoil Croatia d.o.o. Navedeno će se istražiti pomoću sustavnog promatranja sekundarnih izvora informacija, odnosno relevantne stručno znanstvene literature i statističkom obradom podataka iz primarnog istraživanja pomoću anketnog upitnika. U skladu s ciljevima primarnog istraživanja postavljene su sljedeće hipoteze: Zemlja porijekla utječe na percepciju kvalitete brenda od strane potrošača (H1) i Invazija Rusije na Ukrajinu neće utjecati na poslovanje multinacionalne kompanije Lukoil Croatia d.o.o. (H2) Ovim radom želi se doprinijeti boljem razumijevanju međunarodnog marketinga, kako integrirana marketinška komunikacija može utjecati na poslovanje poduzeća i na koji način zemlja porijekla utječe na stavove potrošača kod odabira proizvoda (brendova). Primarnim istraživanjem istražilo se koje karakteristike brenda potrošači najviše vrjednuju, što za njih predstavlja zemlja porijekla i zašto im je važna kod odabira proizvoda (brenda) te sukladno tome istražilo se kako potrošači percipiraju poduzeće Lukoil Croatia d.o.o. koje je dio ruske grupacije Lukoil, uzimajući u obzir trenutnu situaciju koja je nastala s invazijom Rusije na Ukrajinu. Companies that operate or want to operate on the international market must manage the marketing mix (product, price, distribution, promotion) well. A company cannot operate successfully on the international market without well-designed international marketing. In order to operate successfully on the international market, companies need to study the habits and preferences of consumers, which is necessary in order to know how to adapt the product and advertising to the international market and to carry out successful integrated marketing communication. As the topic of this paper is the influence of the country of origin on the brand, it was investigated how the invasion of Russia in Ukraine affects the business of Lukoil Croatia d.o.o. The subject of research in this paper is the influence of the brand's country of origin on the perception of brand quality by consumers, and how the Russian invasion of Ukraine affects the business of Lukoil Croatia d.o.o. The aim of the work is to investigate how the country of origin affects consumers and their purchase decision, and how the Russian invasion of Ukraine affects the business of Lukoil Croatia d.o.o. The aforementioned will be investigated using a systematic observation of secondary sources of information, that is, relevant professional scientific literature and statistical processing of data from primary research using a survey questionnaire. In accordance with the objectives of the primary research, the following hypotheses were set: Country of origin affects the perception of brand quality by consumers (H1) and Russia's invasion of Ukraine will not affect the operations of the multinational company Lukoil Croatia d.o.o. (H2) This work aims to contribute to a better understanding of international marketing, how integrated marketing communication can affect the company's operations and how the country of origin influences consumer attitudes when choosing products (brands). The primary research investigated which brand characteristics consumers value the most, what the country of origin represents for them and why it is important to them when choosing a product (brand), and accordingly, it was investigated how consumers perceive the company Lukoil Croatia d.o.o. which is part of the Russian group Lukoil, taking into account the current situation that arose with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

This article examines the impact of anti-Russian sanctions introduced by the U.S., including the sanctions package signed on 10 August 2017, on the foreign investment activity of Russian oil and gas transnational corporations (TNCs) such as Lukoil and Rosneft in particular. The authors examine the American sanctions against Russia and identify the possible consequences of such restrictions for the development of the Russian oil and gas sector and foreign capital expansion of Russian oil and gas majors; the authors also analyze the foreign investment activity of Lukoil and Rosneft under the sanctions regime.

Однако разведочная и производственная деятельность по-прежнему вызывает глобальные экологические риски, такие как загрязнение подземных вод или изменение климата в более широком масштабе, поэтому требуют принятия практических мер. В данной статье рассмотрены основы концепции устойчивого развития нефтегазовых компаний, а также принципы, на которых базируется внедрение такой концепции. The implementation of sustainable development in companies is of particular importance for solving many global problems. This article discusses the basics of forming the concept of sustainable development of oil and gas companies, the basic principles on which the introduction of such a concept is based. In addition, examples of sustainable development strategies of Russian oil and gas companies Rosneft and Lukoil are considered.

Oil and gas companies are still the most powerful and profitable companies in the world. Knowing the factors that affect the preferences for forming a capital structure of such a critical sector will provide a substantial contribution to the field of capital structur theory which is understated in thef literature. Besides, determining capital structure composition and financing decisions of the oil and gas companies are important issues for national and international investors who are considering to invest in the oil and gas sector, for suppliers providing services to the sector and for banks providing funds to the sector. In this context, for analyzing the factors affecting the capital structures of EXXONMOBIL, BP, SHELL, PETROBRAS, LUKOIL and Turkish Petroleum (TP), linear regression and panel data regression analysis are perfomed by using the data of these companies for the years 2006-2014 (covering 36 quarter period). Empirical results revealed that capex, operating profit, risk and quick ratio have negative relation with leverage, whereas operating net cashflow-growth opportunities-size (all together forming an independent variable) has positive relation with leverage. Additionally, our empirical results mostly support the pecking order theory.

В настоящее время предприятия, работающие с добычей, транспортировкой, реализацией нефти и нефтепродуктов, находятся под значительным давлением из-за снижения цен на нефть. Во время всемирного локдауна весь мир наблюдал за динамикой цены на нефть, поскольку нефтяная промышленность сильно влияет на национальные валюты, прежде всего, стран-экспортеров, в том числе России. Предлагается проанализировать основные факторы, влияющие на динамику цен нефти, а также предложить пути решения выхода из стагнации финансовых показателей нефтегазовых гигантов.

В данной статье рассматриваются основные вопросы топливно-энергетического комплекса в ЕАЭС, которые затрагивают российские нефтегазовые компании. Было выяснено как влияет нефтяная отрасль в ряде стран-членов ЕАЭС, а именно через долю различные показателей в ВВП рассматриваемых стран. Россия, являясь одним из лидеров по основных экономическим показателям среди стран Союза, предоставляет свои услуги по разработке и развитию нефтегазовой отрасли путем ведения деятельности собственных крупных нефтегазовых компаний.

В статье анализируются изменения деятельности в условиях санкционных ограничений Запада и рассматриваются перспективы и тенденции развития инноваций в нефтегазовом комплексе РФ на примере компании ПАО «Лукойл». The purpose of the work is to study and characterize the activities of the company PJSC "Lukoil" in conditions of sanctions restrictions. The value of multinational enterprises (MNEs) as the main players in the global economy is constantly increasing. More and more companies from developing and transition economies are starting to do business beyond their national borders. Not all of them strictly belong to the category of MNEs, as is the case for Russia’s largest companies. This article analyzes the international activities of Russian MNEs. The authors study the place of MNEs in the modern world and examine the transformation of the concept of an MNE in the international practice. They identify the internationally accepted criteria that classify a company as an MNE. They analyze the international activities of the largest Russian companies in the oil and gas sector (Gazprom, Rosneft, Lukoil, Surgutneftegas, Novatek) and their possible classification as MNEs. The article also assesses the influence of the economic and political sanctions on the international activities of Russian MNEs in the oil and gas sector. The methodological basis for the study is the dialectical method of investigating phenomena and processes in the modern world as the most effective way to achieve goals. The authors pay particular attention to the practical application of comparative economic analysis, classification and empirical generalization of original data. The authors came to seven conclusions. First, there is no single approach to defining the essence of MNEs. Second, the indicators that classify a company as an MNE can be divided into qualitative and quantitative criteria. Third, not all the large companies in Russia engaged in expanding into foreign markets can be classified as MNEs by the formal criteria. Fourth, most Russian MNEs have an unstable position in international ratings of MNEs, with the exception of Lukoil. Fifth, the main problems of Russian MNEs include the inefficiency of foreign assets, the lack of experience in managing international holdings and the longstanding crisis of the Russian economy. Sixth, political and economic sanctions severely restrict the business relationship between Russian companies (particularly oil and gas companies) and key international partners, which leads to decreased investment, disrupted implementation of many major projects plans and the decline of companies’ financial performance. Seventh, the current situation should spur Russian companies to adapt their economic policies to the new economic realities, to restore full technological and financial chains via expanding business relationships with companies in developing countries, using private sector resources and government support.

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to analyze the level of human resource management in the Lukoil public company, to compare theoretical framework with the usual practices, to try to identify strengths and weaknesses as well as to suggest measures to improve the current situation. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. Theoretical part summarizes theoretical foundations of human resource management, including some specific aspects of human resource management. Practical part focuses on the analysis of the level of human resource management in the Lukoil public company including the assessment of the efficiency of security measures towards particular practices in human resource management. This Bachelor thesis is written on the basis of the available professional literature, some internal materials of the Lukoil public company and the author's personal experience

The goal of the thesis is to provide complex information about companies performance on the Russian oil market. The first part is devoted to the history of Russian oil industry from reign of Petr I. up to now. The thesis depicts situation on the market during comunism era and after disintegtation of the USSR and privatization of oil industry. The second section describes four major companies on the Russian oil market - Rosneft, Lukoil, TNK-BP and Surgutneftegaz. The analysis of each company contains the history of its founding, development of basic operational figures like extraction volume, net profit, sales, export, crude oil processing; portfolio of main company activities and outline of strategies applied to the future together with the most important projects which are under construction or development. The last part contains possibilities that Russian oil companies have to export their production abroad, strategy of Russian government and the the analysis of the most promising projects.

Krótka historia ekspansji gospodarczej w Europie Zachodniej Zaledwie dziesięć lat temu przyszłość rosyjskiego giganta zdawała się być niepewna. Przestarzała infrastruktura, setki podczepionych ssących go spółek –córek, czyniły zeń niemal podręcznikowy przykład funkcjonującego w postsocjalistycznym systemie gospodarczym reliktu minionej epoki. Restrukturyzowany i prywatyzowany balansował na granicy upadłości, trwając w nowych realiach właściwie tylko dzięki zachowaniu pozycji monopolisty. Wdrożenie opracowanej z pomocą specjalistów Dresdner Bank strategii rozwoju, niczym dotknięcie magicznej różdżki, jak mogłoby się zdawać, zmieniło niezdarnego kolosa w rynkowego tygrysa i to z gatunku tych największych – syberyjskich. Na początku maja kapitalizacja Gazpromu przekroczyła 300 mld dolarów. Wśród spółek publicznych wyżej oszacowano na świecie jedynie wartość dwóch amerykańskich koncernów Exxon Mobil i General Electric. Jeśli uda się im utrzymać w tej kategorii palmę pierwszeństwa aż do połowy przyszłego roku, będzie to spora niespodzianka: przyszłość należy bowiem do rosyjskiego potentata surowcowego.
