The species Afroeme kruegeri sp. nov. (Cerambycinae, Xystrocerini) from South Africa is described, and compared to the other two species from this genus., L'espèce Afroeme kruegeri sp. nov. (Cerambycinae, Xystrocerini) d'Afrique du Sud est décrite et comparée aux autres espèces du genre.

The longhorn beetle Plagionotus detritus is associated with newly dead oak wood and is declining throughout its distribution range. In Sweden, P.detritus has displayed one of the most dramatic reductions in distribution recorded for insect species and is near regional extinction. As a result of logging, agricultural intensification, fire, land clearing, droughts, competition with invasive plants, edge effects, disease, insect attacks, and air pollution, the availability of substrate as well as the species has declined. Today there are only two current populations in Sweden, a stable one in Stockholm, Stockholm County, and one in Båtfors, Uppsala County (ca 130 km distance) which has been reintroduced after going extinct in the past. Data over available substrate and trapping, and data over landcover type at the two sites, were used to conduct a model selection to find the best-fitted model to predict caught beetles per day. Data over available substrate was taken from this study’s fieldwork and fieldwork conducted by the County Administrative Board. Trapping data were provided through previous pheromone trapping. Data on land cover types were provided by the Swedish Land Survey authority. The results showed that the environment in Stockholm was more suitable than that in Båtfors regarding P.detritus. It also showed that there are, in periods, factors hindering the rejuvenation of oaks due to the deficit of larger rejuvenation trees. Lastly, the results showed that the importance of the surveyed variables (e.g., vitality, sun exposure, basal area) varied between the two sites. This, however, needs to be investigated further with a refined methodological approach. Based on present knowledge, the common underlying factor for the observed differences between the two study sites is divergences in the landscape structure. Stockholm had a higher proportion of land dominated by deciduous species and an overall more open landscape that favored the host tree species Quercus. Although it appears that P. detritus is currently able to reproduce in the Båtfors area, the availability of habitat is lacking in the longer term under the current management regime.

The complex of longhorn beetles in Rila Mt. in Bulgaria was studied by literature data and original biological materials. As a result, 126 taxa from six subfamilies were established, as follows: Prioninae (four taxa), Lepturinae (43 taxa), Necydalinae (two taxa), Spondylidinae (seven taxa), Cerambycinae (31 taxa) and Lamiinae (39 taxa). In this study, two new records for Rila Mt. (Stenurella nigra nigra and Xylosteus spinolae) and new localities or additional information for 24 cerambycid taxa were reported. The longhorn beetles belong to 18 zoogeographical categories and seven complexes. The European complex occupies a dominant position (37.3%), followed by the Palaearctic (23.8%), Eurosiberian (13.5%), Mediterranean (11.1%), European-Iranoturanian (7.1%), Balkan endemic (4.0%) and Holarctic (3.2%) complexes.

The monotypic genus Indapiodes Miroshnikov & Tichý, 2018 is reviewed. The genus and the type species are morphologically redescribed in detail. A second species is newly described from Maharashtra Province, India. Indapiodes is transferred from its original placement in the tribe Tillomorphini to the tribe Obriini.

A new species, Margites lobanovi Miroshnikov, sp. n., is described from southern Vietnam. It is very similar to M. prothemicollis Jacquot, 2019 from northern Vietnam, but differs by the significantly longer antennae, the more strongly elongate many antennomeres, the somewhat peculiar structure of the pronotum, in particular, the anterior margin being broadly rounded, the presence of a strongly developed shiny median area in the basal part, the slightly shorter elytra, as well as by the structure of the genitalia, namely, the clearly narrower penis uniformly narrowed towards apex in the apical part, its ventral lobe being clearly greater extending beyond apex of the dorsal lobe, the significantly narrower tegmen, the distinctly narrower and more strongly elongate parameres, its apicies being more strongly sharpened, the clearly wider tergite 8 being shortly truncate apically.

The unpublished formal synonymy of Callichroma chiriquina Bates, 1879, C. opiparum Bates, 1874, C. compressipes Casey, 1912, and C. regalis Casey, 1912 is commented. Schwarzerion carinatum Schmidt, 1924 is removed from the synonym of Callichroma holochlorum holochlorum Bates, 1872, and transferred to the synonymy of Callichroma euthalia Bates, 1879. The species group name “euthalium” is corrected. The type-localities of Schwarzerion carinatum are reported as Colombia and West Indies, and the institution where one of the syntypes is deposited is corrected. Callichroma collarti Fuchs, 1959 is revalidated, and Callichroma magnificum Napp & Martins, 2009 is considered its junior synonym. The status of the specimens of the type series of Callichroma collarti is commented. Additionally, the holotype of Callichroma opiparum Bates, 1874, and the lectotype of Callichroma chiriquina Bates, 1879 are illustrated for the first time.

The tribe Plesioclytini was recently erected for a single genus of cerambycine longhorn beetle. The group was diagnosed from a proposed sister lineage, the diverse Clytini, however, a formal phylogenetic analysis was not performed due to limitations in data availability. Here, we present a phylogenetic reconstruction from five loci, that Plesioclytini is not sister to Clytini, but is instead only distantly related. Subsequent morphological investigations provide additional support for this placement.

A new species, Phaea sondenegro Botero, Ahumada-C., and Navas, new species, is described from Colombia (Bolivar department), and the lectotype of Phaea flavovittata Bates, 1881 is illustrated for the first time. Additionally, the known geographical distribution of eleven species of Cerambycidae (Cerambycinae and Lamiinae) is expanded in Colombia.

Eight species-group names of longhorned woodboring beetles in the genus Anelaphus are corrected. Four new species of Anelaphus Linsley, 1936 are described: A. steveni Santos-Silva, sp. nov., from Mexico (Chiapas); A. erici Santos-Silva, sp. nov., from Nicaragua (Granada); A. izabalensis Santos-Silva, sp. nov., from Guatemala (Izabal); and A. zacapensis Santos-Silva, sp. nov., from Guatemala (Zacapa). New Mexican state records for Anelaphus undulatus (Bates, 1880) are provided. The female of Anelaphus pilosus Chemsak and Noguera, 2003 is described for the first time, and the species is newly recorded from Guatemala. The inclusion of Anelaphus nitidipennis Chemsak and Linsley, 1968 in this genus is questioned.

The tropical dry forest is under constant threat from many anthropic activities which are conducted indiscriminately, modifying the forest, and therefore, affecting species that are closely related to its phenology, such as longhorned beetles (Cerambycidae). The spatio-temporal variation of the cerambycid diversity in two fragments of tropical dry forest (Reserva Campesina la Montaña and La Flecha) in the Caribbean region of Colombia was analyzed. At each locality, four squared plots were delimited, and the beetles were collected with fruit traps, beating sheets and manual capture, and with light traps in the center. Five hundred eighty-seven specimens representing 128 species were collected, of which members of the tribe Ectenessini (Cerambycinae) were the most abundant. At the subfamily level, Cerambycinae was the most abundant (465 specimens) and diverse (73 species), followed by Lamiinae and Prioninae. The highest values of richness (110 species), abundance (428), biomass (21.18 g), and as well as the highest values of true diversity (1D= 73.44, 2D= 34.30) were found during the first precipitations. Regarding beta diversity, temporal variation was determined and mainly explained by a high percentage of turnover (> 70%). Lastly, the high diversity of Cerambycidae was associated with high values of relative humidity and canopy cover during the rainy season. This showed that the structure of the cerambycid community in the tropical dry forest of the Caribbean region of Colombia depends on these variables, which are closely related to precipitation. Resumo: A floresta seca tropical está sob constante ameaça devido às muitas atividades antrópicas que são realizadas indiscriminadamente, modificando a floresta e, portanto, afetando espécies que se encontram muito relacionadas com a sua fenologia, tais como os besouros serra-pau (Cerambycidae). Foi analisada a variação espaço-temporal da diversidade de cerambícidos em dois fragmentos de floresta seca tropical ("Reserva campesina La Montaña e La Flecha") na região caribenha da Colômbia. Em cada localidade, quatro quadrantes foram delimitados e os besouros foram coletados usando armadilhas com isca de fruta, guarda-chuva entomológico, captura manual e armadilhas de luz. Quinhentos e oitenta e sete espécimes, de 128 espécies foram coletados, sendo os membros da tribo Ectenessini (Cerambycinae) os mais abundantes. Ao nível de subfamília, Cerambycinae foi a mais abundante (465 espécimes) e diversa (73 espécies), seguida de Lamiinae e Prioninae. Os valores mais altos de riqueza (110 espécies), abundância (428) e biomassa (21.18 g) foram encontrados durante as primeiras chuvas, assim como os valores mais altos de diversidade verdadeira (1D= 73.44, 2D= 34.30). Em relação à diversidade beta, a variação temporal foi determinada e principalmente explicada por uma alta porcentagem de substituição (> 70%). Por último, uma alta diversidade de Cerambycidae foi associada com altos valores de humidade relativa e cobertura vegetal durante a temporada de chuva, mostrando que a estrutura da comunidade de Cerambycidae na floresta seca tropical da Colômbia depende dessas variáveis, as quais são muito relacionadas com a precipitação.

Six new species of Piezocerini (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae) are described: Alienosternus sanjacintero, Hemilissa bifasciata, Hemilissa erikae, Hemilissa claudiae, and Migorybia santossilvai from Colombia and Alienosternus wappesi from Bolivia. The genus Alienosternus Martins, 1976 is recorded for the first time for Colombia and Bolivia, and the genus Migorybia Martins, 1985 is recorded for the first time for Colombia. The geographical distribution of three species is expanded, and keys to species of Alienosternus and Hemilissa Pascoe, 1858 are provided.

Two new species of the genus Dymasius J. Thomson, 1864 are described. Dymasius medvedevisp. n. (southern India) is similar to D. minor Gahan, 1906, but differs in the very well expressed longitudinal stripes of the elytra, coarser sculpture in their apical part, the length ratio of antennomeres 3–6, the less strongly thickened antennomeres 3–5 in the apical part of the male, and in some other features. Dymasius lubosisp. n. (northern Vietnam) resembles D. simplex Gressitt et Rondon, 1970, but differs clearly in the longer antennae, the more strongly elongate several apical antennomeres, the sharper longitudinal carina on antennomere 1 dorsally, the more strongly developed lateral tubercles of the pronotum, the bicolorous elytra, and other characters.

A brief review of the genus Carinolesthes Vitali, Gouverneur et Chemin, 2017, as well as a key to its species are given. A new species of this genus, C. dembickyi sp. n., is described from the Northeastern India. The need to clarify the generic attribution of C. ningshanensis (Chiang, 1981) is justified. Two new species of the genus Diorthus Gahan, 1891, both from Southern India, D. dembickyi sp. n. and D. aurosetosus sp. n., similar to another South Indian species D. sericeus Gardner, 1939, are described. These three species form a peculiar group which illuminates a very strong morphological similarity between the genera Diorthus and Lamellocerambyx Pic, 1923. At the same time, some recently revealed stable differences between these genera are given. A new species, Zatrephus sumatranus sp. n., is described from Sumatra. The previously unknown female of Elydnus barclayi Miroshnikov, 2017 and male of Pachydissus patricius Holzschuh, 1991 are also described, while the latter species is being recorded from Western Malaysia for the first time. Numerous and detailed colour pictures of the species studied, including their type specimens, are provided.

A brief review of the genus Pneumida J. Thomson, 1864, as well as a key to its species are given. The following new combinations and new synonymy are established: Pneumida trifulvofasciata (Hayashi, 1975), comb. n., Derolus argenteofasciatus (Pic, 1951), comb. n. = Derolus glauciapicalis Gressitt et Rondon, 1970, syn. n. Pneumida trifulvofasciata comb. n., described from Borneo, is recorded from Western Malaysia and generally from Indochina for the first time

A new species, Mimimbrius sabahensis Miroshnikov et Heffern, sp. n., is described from Borneo. It is especially similar to M. dembickyi Miroshnikov, 2017 inhabiting Southern Thailand, but differs clearly by the somewhat peculiar sculpture of the pronotal disc, the more strongly developed recumbent light setation in its apical third; the presence of a distinct emargination at the apex of the last (visible) sternite in the male; the noticeably narrower longitudinal strips of recumbent, dense, light setae between the upper lobes of the eyes, especially so in the male; the structure of the male genitalia, in particular, the peculiar shape of the apical parts of tergite 8, penis and tegmen, as well as by some other minor traits

In this work, a new species, Kunbir shennongjiaensis sp. nov., from Shennongjia Forestry District, China, is described and illustrated. The differences between Kunbir shennongjiaensis sp. nov. and related species are provided.

Four new species are described: Caribbomerus jaliscanus sp. nov. (Cerambycinae, Graciliini), from Mexico; Championa zarazagai sp. nov. and Championa chihuahuaensis sp. nov. (Cerambycinae, incertae sedis), both from Mexico; and Scopadus selkingi sp. nov. (Lamiinae, Acanthomerosternoplini), from Panama. We also propose keys for the following genera: Neocompsa Martins, 1965; Placoclytus Chemsak & Linsley, 1974; Nyssicus Pascoe, 1859; Championa Bates, 1880, and Scopadus Pascoe, 1857. Additionally, the differences between Hypexilis Horn, 1885 and Caribbomerus Vitali, 2003 are provided, Caribbomerus howdeni (Napp & Martins, 1984) is synonymized with Hypexilis pallida Horn, 1885, and new records are registered.

Ysachron pilosus gen. et sp. nov. is described from the Caribbean region of Colombia, and an updated key to genera of South American Achrysonini is provided. Moreover, the geographical distribution of 45 species of Cerambycidae, belonging to the subfamilies Cerambycinae, Lamiinae and Prioninae, is expanded, including nine new country records for Colombia and a further locality in Colombia for nine species.

Epipedocera atra is a common species of Epipedocera Chevrolat which distributed in South China and some countries in Southeast Asia. The complete mitochondria genome of E. atra was 15,662 bp in length, with 37 genes, including 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 22 tRNA genes (tRNAs), and 2 rRNA genes (rRNAs). The nucleotide composition was highly A + T biased, accounting for 70.34% of the whole mitogenome. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that E. atra had a close relationship with Xylotrechus grayii White.

Capezoum Adlbauer, 2003 is known only from male specimens. Herein, we describe two new species: Capezoum richardi sp. nov. and C. brunneopunctatus sp. nov., from the Northern Cape region in South-Africa. The discovery of these new species, one of them represented by both sexes, allowed us to describe the hitherto unknown female. Moreover, the genus is transferred to the tribe Xystrocerini and a key to the species of the genus is provided. Lastly, the position of Mythozoum Thomson, 1878 in Cerambycidae is discussed.

Merostenus exiguous Zayas, 1975 (currently, Caribbomerus exiguus) is transferred to Perigracilia Linsley, 1942. Information on the type series of M. exiguous is provided, and a lectotype is designated to the species. Two new species of Caribbomerus are described from Cuba: C. elieri, and C. zayasi.

The following new synonymy is established: Massirachys mariae J. Thomson, 1878 = Massicus subregularis Schwarzer, 1931,syn.n. On the basis of this synonymy, the former species, hitherto known only from Borneo, is being recorded from Sumatra for the first time. The record of the large male of Massicus (with a body length of 70mm), very similar to the holotype male of Massicus valentinae Miroshnikov, 2017, but differing from it by some features, is presented. It is assumed that these differences lie within the limits of the individual variability of M.valentinae, therefore the large male is preliminarily assigned to this species. Previously unknown differences between Massicus regius Miroshnikov, 2019 and a very similar M.pascoei (J.Thomson, 1867), with which it has been confused for a long time, are discovered. The critical remarks on the recent M.Lazarev’s publication about some representatives of the tribe Cerambycini are presented. The previously established synonymy Neocerambyx J.Thomson, 1861 = Bulbocerambyx Lazarev, 2019 is confirmed. The insolvency and contradictions of the findings and conclusions of this author are shown. Serious doubts about the differences between Neocerambyx vitalisi Pic, 1923 and Neocerambyx elenae Lazarev, 2019 are confirmed.

The Rio Doce State Park (“PERD”) is the largest Atlantic Forest remnant in Minas Gerais State, Brazil, with predominantly semi-deciduous forests. The longhorned beetles of the Cerambycinae subfamily (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) are distributed worldwide, developing on healthy, stressed or recently dead trees. Faunistic surveys are necessary to understand about the Minas Gerais’ cerambycid fauna due to a lack of research, especially in the eastern region of the state. A list of species of the subfamily Cerambycinae (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae), collected in the PERD during the rainy season (September 2013- February 2014), is presented. The beetles were collected using a light trap and through their emergence from Anadenanthera colubrina (Vell.) Brenan (Fabaceae) logs. A total of 663 individuals of 33 species, 30 genera, and 15 tribes of the Cerambycinae subfamily were collected. The species Malacopterus tenellus (Fabricius, 1801) was registered for the first time in Minas Gerais State, while A. colubrina is a new host plant for 14 Cerambycinae species. The geographical distribution, number of host plants and materials examined are presented for each species collected. This is the first list of Cerambycidae species from the Rio Doce State Park.

A new species of Stizocera (Cerambycinae, Elaphidiini) from Colombia is described and illustrated: Stizocera ruthveronae sp. nov., and an updated key to species of the genus is presented. Moreover, nine species of longhorn beetles of Cerambycinae belonging to Callichromatini, Eburiini, Elaphidiini, Hexoplonini, Neoibidionini, Obriini are reported for the first time for Colombia.

A list of species of Cerambycinae (Cerambycidae) collected in Iguaçu National Park (PNI) during the period from March 2012 to December 2018 is provided. A total of 135 species were sampled using different collection methods, all recorded for the first time in the PNI and including 21 new distribution records for the state of Paraná, and two new records for Brazil. The geographic distribution and material examined are stated for each species. A photograph of each newly recorded species is also provided.

Paraclytus xiongi sp. nov. is described from Yunnan, China. Habitus of adults, hind wings, male terminalia and intraspecific variation of Paraclytus xiongi sp. nov. are illustrated. The differences between Paraclytus xiongi sp. nov. and related species are provided.

The late Ubirajara Ribeiro Martins de Souza (1932–2015) described 390 genera in Cerambycidae (including Disteniinae = Disteniidae), alone or with collaborators (especially the first author of this work), and two genera in Languriinae (Erotylidae). Some of them are currently in synonymy, and a few were replaced due to homonymy. Herein we propose new replacement names for two of his Cerambycidae genus-group names. These belong to two different tribes: Elaphidiini (currently with 93 genera) and Eligmodermini (currently with five genera).

Anoplistes kaszabi sp. nov. is described from Mongolia. Distinguishing characters from closely related Anoplistes mongolicus Ganglbauer, 1889 are presented and their ecological dissimilarity is discussed. High-quality stacked photographs of the habitus of the specimens are presented for both species and their geographical distributions are mapped. The new species differs from A. mongolicus mainly by the more elongate pronotum with different sculpture, the more evenly and densely pubescent elytra, the slender body of smaller size in both sexes, as well as by the different shape of female antennomeres. Additionally, they are most likely associated with two different host plants. Moreover, Anoplistes amoenus Reitter, 1898 (stat. res.) is herein restored to specific rank due to its clear distinctness compared to the discussed taxa.

New country records are provided for Caperonotus superbus (Aurivillius, 1897), Heterachthes picturatus Martins, 1970, Neocompsa macrotricha Martins, 1970, Neocompsa spinosa Martins, 1970, Helvina strandi (Breuning, 1942), Bebelis furcula (Bates, 1880), and Bebelis longipennis (Bates, 1885). New state records are provided for Amphicnaeia lineolata Galileo & Martins, 2011, and Dorcasta parkeri Bezark, Santos-Silva & Nascimento, 2018. The geographical distribution of Equescollum birai Nascimento, Botero & Lezama, 2019 is discussed. Chromatic variation in Heterachthes picturatus is discussed. Dorcasta gracilis Fisher, 1932 is synonymized with Dorcasta dasycera Erichson, 1849, and a new country record for the species is reported. Falsestoloides Breuning, 1954 is synonymized with Parestola Bates, 1880, Falsestoloides mexicana Breuning, 1954 is synonymized with Parestola zapotensis Bates, 1880, and a new state record is provided for the species.

Longhorn beetles are among the most important groups of invasive forest insects worldwide. In parallel, they represent one of the most well-studied insect groups in terms of chemical ecology. Longhorn beetle aggregation-sex pheromones are commonly used as trap lures for specific and generic surveillance programs at points of entry and may play a key role in determining the success or failure of exotic species establishment. An exotic species might be more likely to establish in a novel habitat if it relies on a pheromone channel that is different to that of native species active at the same time of year and day, allowing for unhindered mate location (i.e., pheromone-free space hypothesis). In this study, we first tested the attractiveness of single pheromone components (i.e., racemic 3-hydroxyhexan-2-one, racemic 3-hydroxyoctan-2-one, and syn-2,3-hexanediol), and their binary and tertiary combinations, to native and exotic longhorn beetle species in Canada and Italy. Second, we exploited trap catches to determine their seasonal flight activity. Third, we used pheromone-baited "timer traps" to determine longhorn beetle daily flight activity. The response to single pheromones and their combinations was mostly species specific but the combination of more than one pheromone component allowed catch of multiple species simultaneously in Italy. The response of the exotic species to pheromone components, coupled with results on seasonal and daily flight activity, provided partial support for the pheromone-free space hypothesis. This study aids in the understanding of longhorn beetle chemical ecology and confirms that pheromones can play a key role in longhorn beetle invasions.

We describe the identification, synthesis, and field-testing of aggregation-sex pheromones, or likely pheromone candidates, of seven species of South American cerambycid beetles in the subfamily Cerambycinae, of the tribes Eburiini and Neoibidionini. Analyses of extracts of volatiles released by adult males revealed that Eburodacrys dubitata White produce 11-methyltridecanal, whereas the males of Eburodacrys assimilis Gounelle, Eburodacrys flexuosa Gounelle, and Eburodacrys lenkoi Napp and Martins produce blends of this compound, along with its analog 10-methyldodecanal. In contrast, males of Compsibidion graphicum (Thomson) and Compsibidion sommeri (Thomson) produce blends of 10-methyldodecanal and its corresponding alcohol 10-methyldodecanol. The results from field bioassays with synthetic compounds showed that each species was specifically attracted to traps containing their reconstructed pheromone blend. However, E. assimilis was not trapped, possibly due to inhibition by non-natural enantiomers in the racemic test compounds. During the trials for the Compsibidion species, adults of another cerambycid species, Tetraopidion mucoriferum (Thomson), were captured in significant numbers in traps baited with 10-methyldodecanol, suggesting that this compound is a pheromone component for this species. This study demonstrates another case of conservation of pheromone structures within South American cerambycid species. It also highlights how blends of closely related structures, differing only in chain length or functional group, make the evolution of species-specific pheromone channels possible.

Four new species and one new genus are described: Nesanoplium spinosum (Elaphidiini), from Honduras; Psyrassa zacki (Elaphidiini), from Mexico and Guatemala; Euderces ecuadorensis (Tillomorphini), from Ecuador; and Xela tysoni (Methiini), gen. nov., from Guatemala. Pteroplatus suturalis Buquet, 1840 is synonymized with Pteroplatus pulcher Buquet, 1840 (Pteroplatini). Acyphoderes baeri Gounelle, 1913 (= Odontocera baeri) is transferred to Acutiphoderes Clarke, 2015 (Rhinotragini). We question the validity of the lectotype designation for Cyrtomerus puberulus Fleutiaux & Sallé, 1889.

A new genus and species of the subtribe Oemina of the tribe Oemini (Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae) is described from the Sundaic region, Southeastern Asia. Relationships with other oemine genera are discussed.

Three new species are described from Ecuador: Scythropopsis granitica (Lamiinae, Acanthoderini); Apeba danielvlasaki (Lamiinae, Hemilophini); and Giesberteclipta unicolor (Cerambycinae, Rhinotragini). Two new species are described from Honduras: Anelaphus rotundus (Cerambycinae, Elaphidiini); and Euderces hefferni (Cerambycinae, Tillomorphini). A key to species of Apeba Martins & Galileo, 1991, and Giesberteclipta Santos-Silva et al., 2012 are provided. Euderces hefferni sp. nov. is included in a previous key. Rashelapso morrisoni Bezark & Santos-Silva, 2016 is transferred to Giesberteclipta. The holotype of Anelaphus subinermis Linsley, 1957 is illustrated for the first time.

Neocompsa bravo sp. nov. (Neoibidionini, Compsina) is described from the United States of America (southern Texas). Tetranodus reticeps (Bates, 1880) (Tillomorphini, Tillomorphina) is redescribed and recorded from Honduras. A key to species of Tetranodus is provided and notes on the number of specimens in the original description of Tetranodus reticeps (Bates, 1880) are provided. A new species of Pentanodes (Tillomorphini, Tillomorphina) from Nicaragua is described and the following new combinations are proposed for species formerly in Tetranodus: Pentanodes xanthocollis (Chemsak, 1977), and P. tropipennis (Chemsak, 1977).

New synonymies in Clytini: Clytopsis Casey, 1912 is synonymized with Ochraethes Chevrolat, 1860; and Ochraethes nigritus Bates, 1892 is synonymized with O. viridiventris (Chevrolat, 1860). New records: Neoclytus acteon (Chevrolat, 1860) (Clytini) is reported for the first time from Nicaragua; and Heterachthes hildebranti Galileo & Santos-Silva, 2016 (Neoibidionini, Compsina) is reported for the first time from the Mexican state of Jalisco. New species: Ochraethes nevadensis sp. nov. (Clytini) is described from the United States of America (Nevada); Psyrassa audureaui sp. nov. (Elaphidiini) is described from Mexico and Nicaragua; Oxylymma rileyi sp. nov. (Rhinotragini) is described from Panama.

The genus Falsoibidion Pic, 1922 (Cerambycidae: Cerambyinae: Callidiopini) was established based on an Oriental species Falsoibidion fasciatum Pic, 1922 from Vietnam.

The following species of the genus Obrium Dejean, 1821 are currently listed for Argentina: O. bifasciatum Martins and Galileo, 2003; O. cantharinum cantharinum (Linnaeus, 1767); O. cicatricosum Gounelle, 1909; O. multifarium Berg, 1889; O. trifasciatum Bosq, 1951; O. vicinum Gounelle, 1909. Two new species are described: O. mimicum and O. trilobatum. The species are illustrated; a key to species of the genus occurring in Argentina is provided.
