Abstract

The article looks at the effects of neo-tetrazolium chloride on the phosphorescence of teeth. A study is discussed which tested whether neo-tetrazolium chloride could remove the absorbed energy of a tooth's phosphorescent components. Teeth were photographed following a cooling process which used liquid nitrogen to slow the molecular motion of the teeth.
