Esta pesquisa se propõe a analisar preconceitos de gênero e assédios moral/sexual clivados pelo discurso humorístico nos enunciados de Silvio Santos em relação à forma como ele aborda funcionários e convidados no gênero textual/discursivo programa de auditório, especificamente o Programa Silvio Santos. É regular nos enunciados de Silvio um posicionamento discursivo debochado, proposto por uma espetacularização polêmica, que pode ser interpretada como brincadeira ou como preconceito, desrespeito e assédio. Problematizamos como funcionam os efeitos desse humor manifesto ora como deboche, ora como ofensa, dependendo da posição sujeito assumida e do lugar social ocupado. Para o desenvolvimento desta pesquisa, mobilizamos um corpus investigativo que abrange dois quadros televisivos do Programa Silvio Santos: Exame de Calouros e Jogo dos Pontinhos. Temos como base principal de nosso aporte teórico-metodológico a Análise do Discurso de linha francesa, ao selecionarmos autores como Foucault (1996; 2008) e Pêcheux (1988; 1997), mas também Bakhtin/Volochínov (1987; 2006) e Orlandi (2007; 2008), dentre outros. Desenvolvemos análises acerca da carnavalização que ocorre em alguns momentos de interação entre Silvio e os funcionários e entre Silvio e os convidados; estudos acerca das relações de poder que há nessas interações; investigações levando em consideração os processos de subjetivação e os efeitos de sentido que são produzidos a partir dos enunciados. Objetivamos compreender como esses dizeres são legitimados (ou refutados) a partir da operacionalização da ordem discursiva que cliva os diversos processos de subjetivação. Partimos da hipótese de que os dizeres de Silvio Santos possuem regularidades no que diz respeito ao modo despudorado, desrespeitoso e debochado com que ele trata os funcionários e os participantes, ao considerarmos a circulação das políticas discursivas contemporâneas de afirmação dos excluídos, sendo frequente, então, a emergência de discursos machistas, homofóbicos, gordofóbicos, marcadores de assédio etc., sempre por meio do riso, com o efeito de atenuar e inclusive de anular a circulação pejorativa dos preconceitos. Como resultados, tendo em vista o contexto humorístico do programa, Silvio ancora-se nisso para continuar a produzir esses enunciados; entretanto, tendo em vista o contexto sócio-histórico atual, a ressonância dos discursos de empoderamento e de combate a qualquer forma de preconceito, os dizeres de Silvio Santos têm sido encarados de outra forma: são enunciados ofensivos que se mascaram por meio do discurso lúdico, de modo que se justifique, por meio do riso, o escape da segregação social. Concluímos que a materialidade desses enunciados é atravessada, em alguns processos de subjetivação, pela idade de Silvio Santos, caracterizando-o como um velho gagá, que utiliza o riso e o discurso humorístico como subterfúgios para a circulação dos preconceitos e dos assédios moral/ sexual, como se ele não mais tivesse controle racional sobre os seus dizeres; mas também modalizam-se preconceitos e assédios porque Silvio Santos considera legítimo o humor de seu programa de auditório, desconsiderando como ofensas as críticas e as ridicularizações dos funcionários e dos convidados pertencentes a camadas sociais excluídas socialmente, como mulheres, gays e gordos. This research aims to analyze gender prejudices and moral/sexual harassment cleaved by the humorous discourse in Silvio Santos' statements concerning the way he approaches employees and guests in the genre of textual/discursive auditorium program, specifically the Silvio Santos Program. It is a regular in the statements of Silvio discursive positioning debauched, proposed by a controversial spectacle, which can be interpreted as a joke or as prejudice, disrespect, and harassment. We question how the effects of this humor manifest work, sometimes as debauchery, sometimes as an offense, depending on the assumed subject position and the social place occupied. For the development of this research, we mobilized an investigative corpus that covers two television attractions of the Silvio Santos Program: Exame de Calouros and Jogo dos Pontinhos. We have as the main base of our theoretical-methodological contribution the Discourse Analysis of French line when selecting authors such as Foucault (1996; 2008) and Pêcheux (1988; 1997), but also Bakhtin / Volochínov (1987; 2006) and Orlandi (2007; 2008), among others. We developed analyzes about the carnivalization that occurs in some moments of interaction between Silvio and the employees and between Silvio and the guests; studies about the relations of power that there is in these interactions; investigations taking into account the processes of subjectification and the effects of meaning that are produced from the statements. We expect to understand how these sayings are legitimized (or refuted) from the operationalization of the discursive order that cleaves the various processes of subjectification. We start from the hypothesis that the words of Silvio Santos have regularities regarding the shameless, disrespectful and debauched way in which he treats employees and participants when considering the circulation of contemporary discursive policies for affirming the excluded, being frequent, then, the emergence of sexist, homophobic, fatphobic discourses, harassment markers, etc., always through laughter, with the effect of attenuating and even canceling the pejorative circulation of prejudices. As a result, given the humorous context of the program, Silvio is anchored in this to continue producing these statements; of the discourses of empowerment and the fight against any form of prejudice, the words of Silvio Santos have been viewed in another way: they are offensive statements that are disguised through playful discourse, so that, through laughter, the escape from social segregation is justified. We conclude that the materiality of these statements is crossed, in some subjectivation processes, by the age of Silvio Santos, characterizing him as a senile old man, who uses laughter and humorous discourse as a subterfuge for the circulation of prejudices and moral/sexual harassment, as if he no longer had rational control over his sayings; but prejudice and harassment are also modalized because Silvio Santos considers the humor of his auditorium program to be legitimate, disregarding the criticism and ridicule of employees and guests belonging to socially excluded social strata, such as women, gays and fat people.

O presente trabalho discute as relações de poder presentes em postagens de páginas da ferramenta digital Facebook e as implicações provocadas por seus enunciados na conceitualização, emprego, mudanças e transformações de discursos sobre a identidade materna. Investigamos a influência dos enunciados carregados de historicidade e discussões normalizadoras nas mulheres mães no período da amamentação e criação/educação de seus filhos. Dividido em quatro etapas, o delineamento metodológico desse estudo é composto por (1) revisão bibliográfica, (2) coleta de postagens no Facebook, (3) contribuições da Análise do Discurso e da Análise de Discurso Crítica na exploração dos dados, e (4) abertura de debate acerca da constituição do gênero feminino e identidade materna em espaços digitais dinâmicos. Logo, linhas teóricas da Análise do Discurso e da Análise de Discurso Crítica são consultadas de forma que a produção social dos sentidos presentes no discurso e as mudanças e transformações sociais que envolvem a mulher como sujeito de destaque, são contextualizadas. Tomamos como textos-base as obras de Bakhtin (2003), Foucault (2014a) e Fairclough (2001) que além de guiarem a fundamentação deste estudo, são ainda referência para a condução das análises e da discussão dos dados. Os resultados apontam para uma teia de discursos complexos que envolvem a (des)construção da subjetividade materna moldada a partir do dispositivo da maternidade disseminado na rede social Facebook, o que nos permite concluir que as postagens analisadas são instrumentos normalizadores importantes com capacidade de afetar, positiva ou negativamente, decisões e práticas sociais maternas. This thesis aims to discuss the power relations that are in page postings of the Facebook and the implications caused by their statements in the conceptualization, employment, changes and transformations of discourses about maternal identity. We investigated the influence of normalizing statements on women during the period of breastfeeding and child rearing. Divided into four steps, the methodological design of this study is comprised of (1) literature review, (2) collection of Facebook posts, (3) contributions of Discourse Analysis and Critical Discourse Analysis in data exploration, and (4) opening debate about the constitution of the female gender and maternal identity Therefore, theoretical lines of Discourse Analysis and Critical Discourse Analysis are consulted in such a way that we can contextualize the social production of the senses that are presented in the discourses and also the changes and social transformations that involve women in dynamic digital spaces. We use the works of Bakhtin (2003), Foucault (2014a) and Fairclough (2001) to guide the theoretical foundations of this study, as well as to conduct the analysis and discussion of the data. The results point to the formation of complex discourses in the construction of maternal subjectivity through posts on the social network Facebook. Thus, we can conclude that the analyzed posts are important normalization instruments capable of positively or negatively affecting maternal social decisions and practices. O estudo Conselho de classe na escola: espaço de relações de poder e de estigmatização docente e discente tem como objetivo geral compreender o CC (conselho de classe) como gênero discursivo pedagógico de relações de poder e de estigmatização docente e discente a partir da mediação da linguagem. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, configurado pelo estudo de caso (LÜDKE; ANDRÉ, 1986) em torno de CC realizados em um colégio público do interior do estado de Goiás, no qual atuam trinta e oito professores, aproximadamente 7 temporários, 16 representantes do corpo administrativo e cerca de 738 alunos. Os participantes contribuíram de duas formas distintas; no primeiro momento, optei pela observação com notas de campo e gravação em áudio de três reuniões de CC, sempre realizadas ao final dos bimestres, com durações de 2 horas e meia cada uma, aproximadamente. Além disso, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com 4 professoras, 3 temporárias e 1 efetiva. Os dados gerados foram colocados em análise pelo ângulo da LAC (Linguística Aplicada Crítica), a fim de descortinar a proximidade entre práticas de linguagemepráticas pedagógicas, ambas inerentes à produção de relações de poder. Com o apoio dessa teoria, dos pressupostos de Dalben (2004, 1992, 2010) e de Foucault (2003, 2009, 2008, 1987), entre outros, constatei os critérios de realização de conselhos pelo olhar exclusivo de categorização dos alunos pelos professores, às vezes de modo superficial, sem apresentar perspectivas de solução aos problemas pedagógicos e de aprendizagem, com foco em uma divisão entre alunos bons e ruins, denotando uma prática de exclusão desses discentes, ao configurar alguns como ruins e anormais, baseados na estigmatização social (GOFFMAN, 2004). Além disso, os conselhos se apresentam como espaço de relações hierárquicas entre professores em função do lugar de fala que ocupam na escola, situados em uma ordem discursiva destinada a definir quem pode falar, sobre e como falar; assim, há docentes efetivos autorizados a falar e temporários silenciados em virtude do lugar de fala não privilegiado. Outros desajustes perceptíveis estão na não inclusão de alunos e de seus familiares ou responsáveis na realização do CC, o que viola um dos princípios desse instrumento pedagógico da escola, que é incluir todos nas decisões políticas do meio escolar. Ainda assim, o CC constituiu-se como necessário à prática de professores e da escola, ampliando as possibilidades de reflexão e da prática de docentes que podem ter nele a reafirmação de suas identidades mútua e coletivamente, ressignificando eles mesmos e a docência. The study Class council in school: space of relations of power and stigmatization of teacher and student has as general objective to understand the CC (class council) as pedagogical discursive genre of power relations and teacher reflection from the mediation of language. This is a qualitative study, configured by the case study (LÜDKE and ANDRÉ, 1986) around CC carried out in a public school in the interior of the state of Goiás, where thirty-eight teachers work, approximately 7 temporary, 16 representatives of the administrative staff and about 738 students. Participants contributed in two ways; in the first moment, I opted for the observation with field notes and audio recording of three CC meetings, always held at the end of the two-month periods, each lasting approximately 2 hours and a half. In addition, semistructured interviews were carried out with 4 teachers, 3 temporary and 1 effective. The data generated were analyzed from the angle of the LAC (Critical Applied Linguistics), in order to discover the proximity between language practices and pedagogical practices, both inherent in the production of power relations. With the support of this theory, the assumptions of Dalben (2004, 1992, 2010) and Foucault (2003, 2009, 2008, 1987), among others, I found the criteria of councils for the exclusive look of categorization of students by teachers, sometimes in a superficial way, presenting no prospects for a solution to pedagogical and learning problems, focusing on a division between good and bad students, denoting a practice of exclusion of these students, by setting some as bad and abnormal, based on social stigmatization ( GOFFMAN, 2004). In addition, councils present themselves as a space of hierarchical relations between teachers according to the place of speech they occupy in school, situated in a discursive order designed to define who can speak, about and how to speak; thus, there are effective teachers authorized to speak and temporaries silenced by virtue of the place of non-privileged speech. Other perceptible imbalances are the lack of inclusion of students and their families or those responsible for conducting the CC, which violates one of the principles of this pedagogical instrument of the school, which is to include all in the political decisions of the school environment. Ever so, the CC was necessary for the practice of teachers and the school, expanding the possibilities of reflection and the practice of teachers who can have in it the reaffirmation of their identities both collectively and mutually, resignifying themselves and teaching.

O presente estudo investiga a prática da leitura literária do jovem leitor que cursa a segunda etapa do ensino fundamental, em uma escola estadual de tempo integral, localizada em Goiânia. O objetivo é conhecer os modos de leitura que estão presentes nesse ambiente, investigando o que o aluno lê, o que o motiva ou desmotiva a ler, a influência familiar, as práticas de leitura oferecidas pelos professores e o trabalho realizado pelas dinamizadoras da biblioteca escolar. A tese da pesquisa, que pretende ser provada, é se essa escola estadual de tempo integral contribui positivamente para a constituição leitora do jovem que estuda nesse local. Como referencial teórico, são tomados como ponto de partida os pressupostos da análise do discurso de linha francesa, sob a perspectiva de Michel Foucault (2012, 2013a, 2013b) e Michel Pêcheux (1990, 1997), além do princípio dialógico de Mikhail Bakhtin (2000, 2009). Destacam-se, ainda, os estudos sobre as práticas de leitura, na perspectiva de Roger Chartier (1999), Alberto Manguel (1997) e Néstor García Canclini (2008), além dos pressupostos de Antonio Candido (1972, 1995), no âmbito literário, e de Lígia Cadermatori (2012), Graça Paulino (2001) e Regina Zilberman (2001), no que se refere, mais especificamente, às práticas da leitura literária na escola, entre outros estudiosos. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, aplicada a um estudo de caso, que descreve o objeto proposto, por meio de dados coletados via entrevistas gravadas com os sujeitos participantes da pesquisa: 40 alunos, 4 professores e 2 dinamizadoras da biblioteca. Os alunos foram divididos em dois grupos: leitores e não-leitores, sendo que esses últimos se autodeclararam como tais. Os resultados dessa investigação mostram que a prática da leitura, entre os leitores e os nãoleitores é, de certo modo, influenciada pelo meio familiar e pelos amigos, e é motivada pela ação de meios digitais e aparatos tecnológicos, que influenciam o acesso a novos títulos. Além disso, foi constatado que os alunos leitores, de um modo geral, gostam das atividades de leitura proporcionadas pelos professores, nas aulas do turno matutino, e na oficina de apoio ao letramento, oferecida à tarde e, principalmente, se identificam com o trabalho desenvolvido por uma das dinamizadoras da biblioteca escolar. Todos esses fatores incidiram favoravelmente na formação leitora desses jovens. Em contrapartida, os não-leitores apresentam grande aversão às metodologias propostas pela escola para ler, e não se identificam com o estudo em tempo integral. Conclui-se, então, a importância em se investir mais na mediação e formação dos professores e de ambos os dinamizadores, a fim de que se aperfeiçoe a integração do ensino, nesse espaço escolar, entre esses profissionais e os alunos, para que, de fato, a escola ofereça educação integral em tempo integral, melhorando também a infraestrutura desses colégios. This thesis investigates the literary reading practice of the young reader who attends the second stage of elementary education, in a full - time state school located in Goiânia. The objective is to investigate the reading modes that are present in this environment, investigating what the student reads, what motivates or discourages her/him to read, the family influence, the reading practices offered by the teachers and the work done by the school librarians. The thesis of the research, which seeks to be proved, is whether the fulltime state school contributes positively to the reading constitution of the young person who studies this kind of school. As a theoretical reference, the assumptions of French line Discourse Analysis are taken as starting point, from the perspective of Michel Foucault (2012, 2013a, 2013b) and Michel Pêcheux (1990, 1997), as well as the dialogical principle of Mikhail Bakhtin ( 2000, 2009). We also highlight the studies on reading practices, in the perspective of Roger Chartier (1999), Alberto Manguel (1997) e Néstor García Canclini (2008), besides the assumption of Antonio Candido (1972, 1995) in the literary field, and the work of Lígia Cadermatori (2012), Graça Paulino (2001) and Regina Zilberman (2001), on, more specifically, the practices of literary reading in school, among other scholars. This is a qualitative research, applied to a case study, which describes the proposed object, through data collected by recorded interviews, with the research subjects who participate of the study: 40 students, 4 teachers and 2 dinamyzers of the library. The students were divided into two groups: readers and non-readers, the participants of the second group were self-declared as non-readers. The results of this investigation show that the practice of reading among readers and non-readers is, to a certain extent, influenced by the family environment and friends, and it is motivated by the use of digital media and technological devices, which influence access to new books. In addition, we confirmed that student readers, in general, enjoy reading activities provided by teachers in the morning shift classes, and in the literacy support workshop offered in the afternoon, and they have a strong sense of identification with the work developed by one of the dynamizers of the school library. All these factors had a favorable impact on the reading education of these young people. Non-readers, on the other hand, are highly averse to the methodologies proposed by the school to read, and do not feel comfortable with the full-time study. This research concluded, then, the importance of more investigation about the mediation and training of teachers and the dinamyzers, in order to improve the integration of teaching in this school among professionals and students, so that, the school could offer real full-time education, and it is also important to improve the infrastructure of these schools.

Tendo em vista o baixo desempenho alcançado por uma parcela expressiva de participantes em provas de redação, como a do ENEM, é que esta tese tem como objetivo verificar como as orientações teórico-metodológicas, para o ensino de produção de texto, contidas nos principais documentos oficiais de ensino, repercutem nas propostas de produção textual dos livros didáticos de Língua portuguesa, no Ensino Médio. Para tanto, analisamos as propostas de produção de textos apresentadas pelos dois livros didáticos de Língua portuguesa mais utilizados em todo o país, no ano de 2015, por alunos da rede pública de ensino: Português linguagens (CEREJA & MAGALHÃES, 2013) e Novas Palavras (AMARAL, et al, 2013). Trata-se de uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo-quantitativo-interpretativista, fundamentada na teoria sócio-interacionista, proposta por Bakhtin/Volochinov(1992, 2003), mais especificamente, em seus conceitos sobre interação e gêneros do discurso. Além disso, compõem o quadro teórico da pesquisa, estudiosos como Dolz e Schneuwly (2004), Geraldi (1984, 1991), Marcuschi (2008), dentre outros. As análises das propostas de produção de texto, destes manuais, revelaram diferenças significativas entre os dois livros didáticos: o livro Português linguagens considera quase que a totalidade das orientações teórico-metodológicas dos PCNEM etc. para o ensino da produção textual. Além disso, propõe o ensino de uma variedade de gêneros discursivos, o que possibilita não somente uma formação mais ampla ao aprendiz, mas também favorece a formação do escritor competente de textos. No livro Novas Palavras, essas orientações teóricometodológicas ou as ‘condições de produção de texto’ são, praticamente, ignoradas nos comandos das propostas de produção textual, uma vez que predomina, neste manual, práticas de escrita de textos voltadas, quase que exclusivamente, para a realização de provas de exames vestibulares e a prova de Redação do ENEM. Por conta disso, acreditamos que o modo como este livro propõe o ensino deste conteúdo não favorece a formação do escritor competente de textos. As análises destes manuais apontam, também, para a necessidade de um maior comprometimento por parte dos autores de livros didáticos, no que se refere à maneira como estes livros têm sido alterados ou atualizados, ao longo dos anos, de uma edição para outra. Por fim, as investigações realizadas revelaram a existência de um número expressivo de professores que, não obstante as orientações teórico-metodológicas dos documentos oficiais de ensino, ainda optam por trabalhar com o ensino deste conteúdo, tendo como material de apoio livros didáticos que ignoram as condições de produção de texto. According to the low performance achieved by a significant number of participants in writing texts, such as ENEM, this thesis aims to verify the theoretical-methodological guidelines, for the teaching text production, held in the main official teaching documents, have repercussions on the textual production proposals of the textbooks of Portuguese Language in High School. In order to do so, we analyzed the proposals for the production of texts presented by two Portuguese textbooks which are most widely used in the country in 2015, by students of the public teaching system: Português linguagens (CEREJA & MAGALHÃES, 2013) and Novas Palavras (AMARAL, et al, 2013).It is a qualitative-quantitative-interpretative research, based on the sociointeractionist theory of teaching, proposed by Bakhtin / Volochinov (1992, 2003), more specifically, in his concepts about interaction and discourse genres. In addition, the theoretical framework of research is composed by scholars like Dolz and Schneuwly (2004), Geraldi (1984, 1991), Marcuschi (2008), among others. The analyzes of the text l production text proposals on these manuals revealed significant differences between the two textbooks: the Português Linguagens book considers almost all the theoretical and methodological orientations of the PCNEM, etc. for the teaching of the textual production. Furthermore, it proposes the teaching of a variety of discursive genres, which allows not only a broader formation to the learner, but also favors the formation of the competent writers of texts. In the Novas Palavras book, these theoreticalmethodological orientations or the ‘conditions of the text production' are, practically, ignored in the commands of the textual proposal productions, since it prevails, on this manual, practices of text writings, almost exclusively, for the accomplishment of tests of the vestibular exams and the writing test of ENEM. Because of this, we believe that the way this book proposes the teaching content does not favor the formation of the competent writer of texts The analyzes of these manuals also point to the need for a greater commitment to the part of the authors of didactic books, regarding the way these books have been altered or updated, over the years, from one edition to another. Finally, the investigations revealed the existence of a significant number of teachers who, despite the theoretical and methodological guidelines of the official teaching documents, still choose to work with the teaching of this content, having as support the didactic books materials which ignore the conditions of text production.

A tese História em quadrinhos não ficcionais: usos e discursos é o resultado de uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo que emprega um conjunto de atividades interpretativas. O trabalho tem o objetivo de problematizar e analisar o uso, a escolha, do gênero do discurso história em quadrinhos não ficcional para a abordagem de assuntos reais e os efeitos de sentidos construídos. A fundamentação teórica liga-se à Análise do Discurso de orientação francesa, com foco nas obras de Pêcheux (1990a; 1990b; 1999; 2006; 2009), levando em conta as noções de efeito de sentidos e condições de produção. Tomam-se, ainda, as concepções de historicização de Maldidier (2003); os conceitos de dispositivo teórico e analítico de interpretação junto a Orlandi (2002). Busca-se, para complementar, a noção de gênero do discurso conforme Bakhtin (1997; 2003) e de hipergênero segundo Maingueneau (2010). Para a teorização das histórias em quadrinhos, são utilizadas as obras de Eisner (2001; 2005), com foco no conceito de arte sequencial; de Ramos (2007; 2009a; 2009b; 2011) e de Franco (2001; 2011; 2012), com as contribuições sobre a linguagem dos quadrinhos. A tese é construída por meio de uma rede das temáticas reais – política, educação, história –; das temáticas cotidianas – que confere relativa singularidade ao fato narrado –, e o do gênero do discurso HQ não ficcional; unidas pelo ponto nodal da AD: o discurso. A partir das análises do uso e dos discursos, materializados nas histórias em quadrinhos não ficcionais selecionadas, verificamos que as histórias em quadrinhos são um hipergênero, que enquadra uma larga faixa de textos e pode ser usado durante longos períodos e em muitos países. O hipergênero história em quadrinhos é constituído pelas histórias em quadrinhos não ficcionais, que são um gênero do discurso, um tipo relativamente estável de enunciado que é constituído pelas forças centrípetas que mantêm as regularidades – relação entre o verbal e o não verbal; arte sequencial; personagens e temáticas ficcionais; outros – e pelas forças centrífugas, que possibilitam a transformação, a mudança, a descontinuidade, neste caso específico, a possibilidade de abordagem de temáticas e/ou personagens não ficcionais. As análises mostram que o gênero do discurso história em quadrinhos não ficcional, ao somar linguagem verbal e não verbal, em um primeiro momento, contribui para que o interlocutor compreenda, de maneira didática, os efeitos de sentidos, devido à leitura mais rápida e efetiva. Verificamos que há também a irrupção de outras questões que envolvem o uso das HQs não ficcionais, como a resistência e a cultura de status perceptíveis durante a análise das formações ideológicas, imaginárias e discursivas, que possibilitam a construção de uma tese fluida e heterogênea. The thesis Nonfiction comics: uses and discourses is the result of a qualitative research that employs a set of interpretive activities. This work aims to discuss and analyze the choice of discourse genre in nonfiction comics for the approaching of serious and real issues, and the constructed meaning’s effect. The theoretical background is related to the French orientation on Discourse Analysis focused on Pêcheux’s works (1990a; 1990b; 1999; 2006; 2009), taking into account notions about meaning’s effect and production conditions. It is also taken conceptions of historicization by Maldidier (2003); the concepts of theoretical and analytical device of interpretation by Orlandi (2002). It is searched, to complement, the notion of discourse genre according to Bakhtin (1997; 2003) and hypergenre in accordance with Maingueneau (2010). For the comics theorization it is used Eisner’s works (2001, 2005), focused on the concept of sequential art; Ramos (2007; 2009a; 2009b; 2011) and Franco (2001; 2011; 2012), with contributions to the comics language. The thesis is built through a network of real issues - politics, education, history -; everyday issues - which gives uniqueness to the narrated fact - and the nonfiction comic discourse genre; united by the nodal point of AD: the discourse. From the analysis of use and discourse, materialized in the selected nonfiction comics, we find that the comics are a hypergenre, that fits a wide range of texts and can be used for long periods of time and in many countries. The hypergenre comic consists of nonfiction comic books, which are a discourse genre, a relatively stable type of statement that is made by the centripetal forces that keep the regularities – the relation between verbal and non-verbal; sequential art; fictional characters and issues; others - and the centrifugal forces that enable the transformation, the change, the discontinuity in this particular case, the possibility of approach the nonfictional thematic and characters. The analysis show that the nonfiction comics discourse genre, when adding verbal and non-verbal language, at first, helps the interlocutors to understand, in a didactic way, the meaning’s effect due to faster and more effective reading. However, we find that there is the emergence of issues that involve the use of nonfiction comics, such as the resistance and the culture of status perceptible during the analysis of ideological, imaginary and discursive formations, which allow the construction of a fluid and heterogeneous thesis. O objetivo desta tese é compreender a multimodalidade como uma exigência retórica contemporânea, seja por ser facilitadora do processo de ensino/aprendizagem, seja pelo seu papel persuasivo no engajamento da Audiência Endereçada nesse processo. Contribuem para esse estudo, os princípios da Análise de Discurso de linha Francesa, quanto à interlocução e às condições dos sujeitos, e os da Retórica Contemporânea (MILLER: 1994, 2012), para melhor entendimento da multimodalidade como elemento persuasivo e a constituição do ethos do rhetor em um gênero que circula no ambiente escolar, como uma ação social. A metodologia da pesquisa procura descrever e interpretar a multimodalidade em um Livro didático (LD) da coleção Português: Contexto, interlocução e sentido (M. L. M. ABAURRE, M. B. M. ABAURRE, M. PONTANARA, 2008), o volume 2. Verificamos que, inserido em uma sociedade com processos de aculturação abundantes em recursos audiovisuais extremamente complexos, o LD é regulado por enunciados oficiais sobre o processo de produção e aquisição pela escola pública brasileira. A análise dos documentos oficiais sobre o LD evidencia a importância atribuída à presença da multimodalidade e a preconização de um letramento multimodal. A análise retórica verifica os caminhos que o livro percorre para persuadir sua audiência: o rhetor demonstra boa vontade em auxiliar e facilitar o processo de ensino, com sabedoria prática e bom caráter moral, ao selecionar e organizar os conteúdos e os textos a serem trabalhados e utilizar a multimodalidade em sua constituição. Apesar da preconização pelos documentos oficiais, e da constante presença da multimodalidade, não há enunciados que explicitem um letramento multimodal. Esse dá-se apenas por exposição. Faz-se necessário, então, um novo olhar sobre o LD, procurando uma abordagem discursiva e retórica da multimodalidade, afim de que os alunos tirem proveito desse recurso para a sua aprendizagem e aprendam utilizá-lo em suas próprias produções textuais. The goal of this dissertation is to analyze the multimodality as a Contemporary rhetorical exigence for been a facilitator of the teaching/learning process and a persuasive element that encourages the engagement of the Addressed Audience (AA) in the process. The principles of the French Discourse Analysis, as interlocution and the subject conditions, and the ones form the Contemporary Rhetoric (MILLER;1994, 2012) are appropriated to a better understanding of the multimodality as a persuasive element and an important element for the construction of the Rhetor`s ethos in a genre that circulates in the school environment as social action. The research methodology pursuits the description and interpretation of the multimodality in a Textbook (TB) of the collection Português: Contexto, interlocução e sentido (M. L. M. ABAURRE, M. B. M. ABAURRE, M. PONTANARA, 2008), volume 2. It`s been verified that, inserted in a society with plentiful extremely complex audial visual resources, the TB is regulated by official statements about the process of production and acquisition by Brazilian public school. The analysis of the official documents about the TB evidences the importance attributed to the presence of multimodality and the preconization of a Multimodal Literacy. The rhetorical analysis verifies the paths run by the TB to persuade the AA. The Rhetor shows good will in helping and facilitating the teaching/learning process with wisdom and good moral character while selecting and organizing the contents and the texts to be used and also applying multimodality in its constitution. Despite the constant presence of the multimodality and the preconization of a multimodal literacy by the official documents, it does not happen explicitly. It only happens for exposition. A new look to the TB is necessary looking for a discursive and rhetoric approach of the multimodality, so that students take advantage of this resource to their learning and also learn to use it in their own textual productions. Esta dissertação analisa práticas de leitura e de escrita na escola, realizadas como atendimento extraclasse a alunos em dificuldades de aprendizagem. Destacam-se, na esfera escolar, outras oportunidades de práticas de leitura e escrita, diferentes daquelas efetuadas em salas numerosas de ensino regular. Para tanto, foram recrutados estudantes que não se ajustam ao tratamento didático adotado em classes numerosas, que apresentam proficiência leitora e escrita incompatível ao grau cursado e com histórico de fracasso escolar. Os objetivos gerais de pesquisa são: analisar as práticas de leitura e escrita durante o acompanhamento escolar a alunos em dificuldades de leitura e escrita no ensino básico; delinear o perfil desses alunos como leitores e produtores de texto a partir de uma visão crítico-cultural da história da leitura e da escrita; analisar a realização de oficinas de leitura e produção escrita, e avaliar se essas atividades satisfazem às necessidades dos alunos, auxiliando-os a alcançar um maior acesso às práticas sociais letradas. Para esta pesquisa, foram selecionados 29 estudantes do ensino fundamental e médio, na faixa etária de 12 a 19 anos de idade. As ferramentas de coleta de dados utilizadas foram: observação participante, questionários, textos no gênero relatos de leitura e de escrita, em que os participantes narravam suas histórias de leitura e de escrita e ainda a construção de um diário de leituras em que os estudantes registram as leituras feitas durante a semana nos encontros e em casa. Esta pesquisa tem como base teórica a concepção enunciativa do Círculo de Bakhtin que compreende a linguagem como lugar de interação e de constituição de relações sociais, em que os falantes se tornam sujeitos. Para analisar a inventividade escondida nas práticas cotidianas, vale-se do enfoque sociológico de De Certeau sobre as apropriações das categorias de espaço, de lugar, de estratégias e de táticas. Adota-se uma abordagem histórica das práticas de leitura e escrita pelos quais os grupos sociais, em distintos períodos e espaços sociais, se inserem na cultura escrita, acompanhando estudos de Roger Chartier, de Alberto Manguel, de Steven Fischer, de Lasdilas Mandel e de David Olson. Percebe-se que essa atenção especial é uma tarefa extremamente necessária e, ao mesmo tempo, um exercício de persistência, pois os resultados positivos de melhor condição de aprendizagem levam a crer que são necessárias práticas específicas, planejadas e diversificadas, que assegurem condições favoráveis à superação das dificuldades vivenciadas por esses alunos. Palavras- This dissertation examines practices of reading and writing in the process of basic schooling, performed as extracurricular service to students with learning difficulties. Stand out at the school, other discursive practices of literacy, because they are different from those made in numerous halls of education. Thus, we recruited students who do not fit the didactic adopted in numerous classes, who have proficiency reading and writing to the school attended and incompatible with a history of school failure. The general objectives of research are: to analyze the discursive practices while monitoring school students struggling in reading and writing in primary; outline the profile of these students as readers and producers of text from a critical- cultural vision of the history of reading and writing; analyze workshops on reading and writing, and assess whether these activities meet the needs of students, helping them to achieve greater access to social literate practices. For this research, we selected 29 students from middle and high school, ages 12-19 years old. The data collection tools were used: participant observation, questionnaires, text reports in the genre of reading and writing, in which participants narrated their stories of reading and writing and also the construction of a diary of readings where students record the readings taken during the week in meetings and at home. This research is based on the theoretical concept of enunciation of the Bakhtin Circle that includes language as a place of interaction and the formation of social relations, where the speakers become subject; analyze the ingenuity hidden in everyday practices, from the sociological approach De Certeau through the specification of the categories of space, of place, of strategies and tactics and a historical practices of reading and writing by which social groups in different periods and social spaces are inserted in the written culture from studies of Roger Chartier , Alberto Manguel, Steven Fischer, of Lasdilas Mandel and David Olson. Realize that this attention is an extremely necessary and at the same time, an exercise in persistence, because the positive results of better learning suggest that specific practices are necessary, planned and diversified to ensure favorable conditions for the overcome the difficulties experienced by these students.
