Career counselling in the period of the early adulthood should include the specifics of this period, which result from both the theory of developmental psychology and the influence of the modern world. Moreover, I talk about lifelong counselling, career counselling, counselling in post-modernism and the society of risk, and the conception of life design. Results and conclusions. The main conclusion of the article is the need for adjusting career counselling, so it could become more successful and fitting for this specific age group.
