Two new species of Alychna Grishin, 2019, Alychna chulumani Medeiros, Dolibaina & O. Mielke sp. nov. from Bolivia (La Paz, Chulumani) and Alychna argenteus Medeiros, Dolibaina & Casagrande sp. nov. from Peru (Huánuco, Carpish) are described. Illustrations of the wing pattern, forewing stigma and male genitalia of the two species are provided.

The genus Tarmia Lindsey, 1925, long considered a junior synonym of Phanes Godman, 1901, is here revised and its status is revalidated based on morphological evidence. Two Andean species are included in Tarmia: the type species, T. monastica Lindsey, 1925 comb. rev., and a new species herein described, Tarmia greeneyi A. Warren, Medeiros, Dolibaina & O. Mielke sp. nov., from Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. The male’s symmetrical valvae and aedeagus with a twisted median portion, and the very wide ductus bursae of the female genitalia support Tarmia as valid genus apart of Phanes. Illustrations of the main diagnostic characters of both sexes and a distribution map are provided for the species of Tarmia.

A new species of Thespieus Godman, 1900 (Hesperiidae, Hesperiini), Thespieus maacki sp. nov., is described from high altitude grasslands on Aracatuba Mountain peak, Tijucas do Sul, Parana, Brazil. Similar habitats surrounding the type locality were also sampled, but this species was never recorded elsewhere. The most similar species Thespieus caraca Evans, 1955 is also illustrated and compared, in order to provide clear diagnostic characters for species identification.

A new species of Atrytonopsis is described from the western and central Mexican states of Michoacan, Mexico and Sinaloa. Preliminary distributional and biological notes are provided, as well as a discussion of this new species' placement within the genus Atrytonopsis.

Stinga Evans, 1955, has been considered monotypic since its description despite geographical variation that has not been elucidated. The variation of Stinga morrisoni (W. H. Edwards, 1878) described and figured here includes a range of superficial phenotypes segregated by a combination of geography and elevation, but united by a common genital morphology of both sexes. In addition, a second species of the genus occurring in southern Mexico (Tlaxcala, Puebla and Oaxaca), with different genitalia and superficial traits outside the range of variation seen in S. morrisoni, is described and named as a new species.
