Information about the International Legal Ethics Conference IV held at Stanford Law School in California from July 15 to 17, 2010 is presented. The roundtable, which focuses on legal ethics in legal education, discusses the four major objections to mandatory ethics in the law school's curriculum including the principle of academic autonomy, lack of resources and ethical reasoning. It was also participated by various law professors including Kim Economides, Andrew Boon and Christine Parker.

The article analyzes data taken from a law firm in Queensland, Australia, that shows the ethical infrastructure of the attorneys within law offices. Information is provided on how law firms often have an ethical culture that determines who will succeed or be promoted within the firm. It is noted that a survey was completed that gathered information on the attorney's ethical responses to various scenarios.

Information about the topics discussed at the plenary sessions at the fourth International Legal Ethics Conference (ILEC) that was held at Stanford University in July 2010 is presented. Panel participants addressed the issues concerning the conception of legal ethics in relation to the morality of law. The forum featured several legal ethicists including Alice Woolley, Stephen Pepper and Katherine Kruse.
