Le corps fait partie des textes littéraires marocains par le biais de diverses figures : le féminin / le masculin, le fou, l’homosexuel, la prostituée, le croyant, l’immigrant illégal… Dans cet article, nous examinons deux récits du corps : le premier passe par le caractère homoérotique et le second par le caractère féminin. Nous analysons l’écriture de la féminité du corps, l’écriture de l’homosexualité, les rites de passage et de séparation, le discours sur la marge par opposition à la parole, et, finalement, le paradoxe de l’écriture du corps censuré. The body is part of the Moroccan literary texts through various figures: the feminine/masculine, the madman, the homosexual, the prostitute, the believer, the illegal immigrant… In this article, we examine two records of the body: a first one is through the character homoerotic and the second one is through the female character. We analyze the writing of the body’s feminine, the writing of homoeroticism, rites of passage and separation, the discourse on the margin as against speech, and, finally, the paradox of the writing of the censored body.

Au Maroc, la modernité, avant d’être un phénomène littéraire, a d’abord été motivée par le désir de comprendre pourquoi le monde arabo-islamique était en retard sur le monde occidental. Pour les voyageurs marocains qui étaient envoyés en Europe par leurs sultans, la modernisation était d’abord associée à l’ordre militaire et aux découvertes techniques et industrielles. Une telle découverte a donné naissance à une double conscience qui caractérise la période de la lutte pour l’indépendance : un lien rapproché avec la tradition d’un côté et une forte tentation de modernité de l’autre côté. Cette double conscience a pris la forme littéraire de l’utilisation du genre romanesque à partir des années 1950. In Morocco, modernity, before being a literary phenomenon, has first been motivated by the desire to understand why the Arabo-islamic world was behind the Western world. For the Moroccan travelers who were sent to Europe by their sultans, modernization was first associated to military order and to technical and industrial discoveries. Such a discovery has generated a double consciousness which characterizes the period of the fight for independence: close link to tradition on the one hand and strong temptation towards modernity on the other. Such a double consciouness has taken the form, in literature, of the use of the genre of the novel starting in the 1950s.
