This research aimed to determine the effect of the Guided Discovery Blended Learning (GDBL) strategy on concept mastery of the human excretory system. The research method was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The samples consisted of the eleventh-grade students of Senior High school Jakarta in 2019/2020. Class MIPA-2 was the control class taught using Guided Discovery, and class MIPA-4 were the experimental class taught using GDBL. The learning process had been carried out both online and in the classroom. Research data were collected by integrating essay tests, students' responses to learning strategies, and observation sheets of syntax implementation. The data were descriptively analyzed and tested using ANCOVA. The normality test was performed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov formula, and the homogeneity test was performed using Levene's test. The statistical tests indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous; thus, ANCOVA analysis using SPSS 24 was performed. The data analysis with the ANCOVA test at 0,05 significance level obtained p value = 0.000, which means that H0 was rejected. The research result implied that GDBL affected students' concept mastery of the human excretory system. It cultivated habits to independently rearrange the concept through teachers' guidance, both from sourcebooks and online media. GDBL can be used as an alternative for biology studies.

The meaningful learning of respiratory system will be enacted by students through the utilization of problem-based learning interactive media. This study aimed to develop problem-based interactive learning media on respiratory system material. This Research and Development (R&D) was conducted based on Borg and Gall with ten stages, namely: 1) research and information collecting, 2) planning, 3) developing, 4) preliminary field testing, 5) main product revision, 6) main field testing, 7) operational product revision, 8) operational field testing, 9) final product revision, 10) dissemination. The results of the research showed that the materials score achieved by the media developed was 90% (very good), while the media presentation score was 83% (very good); in addition, the language score gained was 99% (very good). Thus, the average score was 91% (very good) which means that the interactive learning media developed was recognized as very good to be implemented in respiratory system learning for eleventh graders. To go further, the teachers and students gave their response to the media as high as 80% (very good) and 89% (very good) respectively. To conclude, “resysmart” interactive media is strongly recommended to be used in respiratory system learning for eleventh graders.

Resysmart is an interactive media on the Respiratory system material, which stands for Smart Respiratory System. This media uses the Adobe Flash CC application. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of Resysmart interactive media in increasing learning motivation. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The learning model used was Problem Based Learning. Samples in this study were students of the eleventh grade of social class at SMAN 3 Cibinong, Indonesia, as many as 60 people. The results showed that there was an increase in learning motivation in the experimental class with a pre-test value of 69.20 and a post-test value of 82.00, with a Gain Score of 12.80. N-Gain Score in the experimental class was 0.42, which was classified as moderate, while the control class is 0.08, which was classified as low. After an independent t-test, a significance value of 0.00

Efforts to improve environmental responsibility are still being developed partially, in fact this is the result of the interaction of various factors. This study aimed to investigate the effect of personality and intention to act of the responsible environmental behavior. This research was conducted at Senior High School Insan Cendekia Madani Boarding School in the second semester of 2017-2018 academic year. The method used were survey with quantitative-causal approach. This study used three variables i.e. personality (exogenous variable/X 1 ), intention to act (exogenous variable/X 2 ), and responsible environmental behavior (endogenous variable/X 3 ). The subject were 90 students from grade XI of mathematics and science. The data analysis technique was used path analysis. Based on hypothesis test conducted, the values of the path coefficient between X 1 and X 2 was 0.385, X 2 and X 3 was 0.209, X 1 and X 3 through X 2 was 0.08. The results showed that there was significant indirect effect of personality to responsible environmental behavior through the intention to act of Senior High School students.

The role of personal responsibility is important to foster a pro-environmental intention can change students' pro-environmental behavior. This study aims to analyze the relationship between personal responsibility and pro-environmental intention in XI-MIPA students at SSHS of 8 Makassar, South Sulawesi. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method of correlation techniques. Partisipants for study were 120 students. Data collection used non-test instruments. Analysis of research data used a regression model test (α = 0.05) and coefficient test with Pearson Product Moment test (α = 0.05). The results showed that there was a positive relationship between personal responsibility and pro-environmental intention. Students who have a high personal responsibility have several advantages, namely (1) can learned how to respect the rights and feelings of others, decide their own desires and the importance of being responsible; (2) able to become independent learners, able to play an active role in learning and their desires more responsibly, and (3) can learn how to respect the rights and feelings of others, decide their own desires and the importance of being responsible.

Achievement of learning process can be seen from student cognitive learning outcome. Learning model plays an important role in student cognitive learning achievement. The introduction and implementation of Peer Instruction Flip model and Flipped Classroom are expected to increase the cognitive learning outcomes of students. The research was conducted in SMAN 6 Tangerang on Mei-Juni 2015. The reseach method used was a quasi experiment. The research sample used was XI MIA 1 (Peer Instruction Flip model) and XI MIA 3 (Flipped Classroom model) and XI MIA 2 (STAD model) who collected by Simple Random Sampling. Prerequisite test analysis of normality was the Kolmogorov-Smirnov and homogeneity test with the Bartlett test. Based on calculation, data obtained was normally distributes and homogeneously. The statistical hypothesis with Anava one way test result on rejected null hypothesis at α 0,05. It can be concluded that there was effect of Peer Instruction Flip and Flipped Classroom learning model toward student cognitive learning outcome in Excretory System material.

Analytical Thining Skills is one of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Students are required to have Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) based on Curiculum 2013. Analytical Thining Skills was needed in the process solving a problem in learning process. One of the most difficult matter in grade XI Class is immunity System. With a playing Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) dan Discovery Learning hopefully student can improve their analytical thinking skills. This study aimed to determine the influence of POGIL and Discovery Learning toward Student Analytical Thinking Skills On The Matters of Immunity System. This study conducted in 27 Senior High School Jakarta on second semester of academic year 2015/2016 on April until May 2016. The reseach method used was a quasi experiment. The sample was determinate by simple random sampling. Class XI MIA 1 was experiment class Discovery Learning, Class XI MIA 2 was experiment class POGIL, and class XI MIA 3 was control Class. The instrument used was a post-test with objective test formed multiple choice and cause and effect. The normality data test with Kolmogorov-Smirnov and homogeneity test with Uji Bartlett. Base on the statistic test resulted acquired data distribution normal and homogen. Hipotesis test used one way ANAVA test showed the result Ho was rejected on α=0,05. This means that there is influence of Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) and Discovery Learning toward Student Analytical Thinking Skills On The Matters of Immunity System.

Comics are one of media which can be used for learning purposes. Attractive visual element of comic allowing students to learn about challenging biology concepts. Therefore, this research was aimed to develop concept map based comic as learning media on Nervous System. This study was conducted from April to June 2016 at SMAN 91 Jakarta, using research and development method. There were six steps had been done continuously: need assessment, objective formulation, material development, instruments development, media development, and try-out and revision. The developed product received very good interpretation in all feasibility try-outs. The average of percentage score for feasibility try-out gained from media experts, material experts, small group of students try-out, and for Biology teacher try-out were 86,5%, 92,6%, 85,4%, 85,7%, and 85,5% respectively. The product’s average percentage of feasibility score was 87,1%, which indicated that the product obtained a very good interpretation. As a conclusion, this concept map based comic was qualified as a learning media on Nervous System in senior high school.

There are many determining factors influence student learning achievement, including self-efficacy and motivation. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of self-efficacy and motivation on biology learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SSHS 1 of Cilegon city, in which the method used was survey using a quantitative-causal approach aided with path analysis. The sample used were 144 students. The results showed that the path coefficient of self-efficacy towards motivation obtained was 0.596, while the motivation for learning outcomes was 0.600, and self-efficacy toward learning outcomes through motivation was 0.358. These mean that there was a direct effect of self-efficacy towards motivation and motivation towards Biology learning outcomes, whereas indirect effect was possessed by self-efficacy towards Biology learning outcomes through motivation. Thus, teachers should give more attention to student’s self-efficacy and motivation to inact learning goals.

Realitas bahasa sebagai simbol-simbol makna, kata “ makna “ pada dasarnya merupakan masalah yang senantiasa hadir dalam lingkungan setiap manusia, yang memungkinkan seorang manusia untuk dapat menyimpan seluruh konsep dalam pikirannya dalam bentuk simbol-simbol, sehingga membantunya dalam mewujudkan perkembangan yang signifikan dalam mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan. Ada tiga pilar penting dalam kerangka keilmuan menurut tinjauan filsafat yang tidak dapat ditinggalkan yaitu ontologi, asas penetapan ruang lingkup serta asas penafsiran akan hakikat pokok objek pengetahuan, epistemologi, merupakan asas metodologi pemerolehan dan penyusunan bangunan pengetahuan, dan aksiologi, merupakan asas tujuan dan pemanfaatan pengetahuan.

Learning results are influenced by 2 factors; internal and external factors. Method of learning is one of external factors. This study aimed to determine the effect of Hypnoteaching method toward application the cognitive learning outcomes on Nervous System Topic at SMAN 97 Jakarta. The research was conducted in the second semester of Academic Year 2014/2015. The method was a quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. A total sample of 74 students of class XI MIA was selected by simple random sampling technique. This research used a cognitive learning. Test instrument data was analized by analysis of variance of the path of non-parametric Kruskal Wallis. The result showed a significance value 0.07> 0.05 so that it was conclude that Hypnoteaching method had no effect on students cognitive learning outcomes Nervous System Topic.

Students require depth understanding of the concept on dygestive system material, however misconception often happens so that optimal learning isn’t reached. This needs to be taken seriously. The introduction and implementation of Conceptual Understanding Procedures Model (CUPs) and Concept Attainment Model (CAM) are expected to reduce the misconception occur in students. Both models are learning model that requires the involvement and student activity in the learning process and can encourage students to be able to construct a concept. This study aimed to obtain data about differences in the application of CUPs and CAM on student misconception reduction in digestive system material. The research was conducted in SMAN 61 Jakarta on February-March 2015. The reseach method used was a quasi experiment. The research sample obtained after pretest ware students who have misconception on XI MIA 2 (The 1st experimental class with CUPsmodel) and XI MIA 4 (The 2nd experimental class with CAM) who collected by simple random sampling. The instrumen used was a multiple choice objective test accompanied by CRI index. Prerequisite test analysis of normality was the Kolmogorov-Smirnov and homogeneity test with the F test. Based on calculation, data obtained was not normally distributes but homogeneous. The statistical hypothesis with Mann-Whitney test result on accepted null ypothesis at α 0,05. It showed that there was no differences in the application of CUPs model and CAM on student’s misconception reduction in digestive system material.

Students need to have one of the science process skills in learning which is communication skill. Based on observation it was known that not every student had the same communication capabilities, both in oral and written. This is due to lack of student’s understanding about the concept of the material which being studied. Application of Concept Attainment learning model was expected to train students how to construct concepts on their own and be able to express it verbally. This study was aimed to determine the influence of the Concept Attainment learning model to communication skills and student’s understanding of Reproductive System material concept. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 16 Jakarta on May 2015. This research used quasi-experimental method. The sample were 30 students each in the experimental class and control class by using simple random sampling. The instrument for this research was a written communication skills post test, understanding of concepts post test, and the observation of verbal ability. The analysis prerequisite test was the test of normality with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov and homogeneity test with F test. Based on the calculations, the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Hypothesis test using the test results showed that Ho was rejected at α 0.05. It means that there was an influence of Concept Attainment learning model of the communication skills and student’s understanding concept on Reproductive System.

Salah satu masalah dalam pendidikan di Indonesia yaitu masih adanya miskonsepsi yang dialami oleh peserta didik sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Miskonsepsi pada materi Sistem Saraf secara keseluruhan yaitu sebesar 25.47%. Pada sub materi mekanisme impuls saraf mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 4.37% dengan persentase jumlah peserta didik yang tidak paham paling tinggi dibanding sub materi lain yaitu sebesar 8.26%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Biologi berupa film pendek pada materi Sistem Saraf, khususnya materi mekanisme impuls saraf. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengembangan media ini adalah metode Research and Development model pengembangan Borg dan Gall. Validasi dilakukan oleh 2 ahli yaitu ahli media dan ahli materi. Analisis data menggunakan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov. Uji efektivitas menggunakan uji t. Hasil menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran berkategori baik dan media efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

The success of learning process including Arabic language learning is closely related to teachers’ competence. Good learning process is created when the teacher has good competence both in the theory of language and managing the class. Therefore, it is an obligatory for Arabic teachers to master language competence and language skills. Moreover, in this globalization era, it is necessary for Arabic teachers to involve technology in the teaching and learning process in order to create interesting and fun classroom activities

Reading is one of the four language skills that have an important role in daily life. The way and characteristics of asking questions (istifham) are influential in achieving the objective of reading comprehension of a text. The use of questions (istifham) also stimulates students to understand reading texts and foster their critical thinking. All Arabic teachers, especially those who teach reading skill, should understand and master a questioning strategy to ease comprehending the text. Hopefully, this study can be used as a confirmation of theory in the fact that there is a parallel line between the theory of istifham in the teaching of reading skill, and the process of understanding the passage. This research aims at: 1) the influence of the implementation of the model of teaching mathematics realistic based on cognitive conflict students to the ability to understanding the concept and troubleshooting capabilities; 2) determine the larger capacity of the understanding of the concept through the implementation of the model of teaching mathematics realistic based on cognitive conflict junior secondary school students the City of Bengkulu. 3) determine the great improvement of the ability to solve problems through the implementation of the model of teaching mathematics realistic based on cognitive conflict SMP students Bengkulu City.To achieve the goal of this research is to apply Research Design pseudo experiments with research design Pretest-Postest Nonequivalent Control Group Design, with the test instrument the ability to understanding the concept and test the troubleshooting capabilities. The data has been analyzed using the test gains. The results of this research is 1) the ability of understanding the concept and troubleshooting class experiment the given learning with PMR is better than with the ability to understanding the concept and troubleshooting control classes assigned to conventional mathematics lesson; 2) increase the ability of the understanding of the concept through the implementation of the model of teaching mathematics based on cognitive conflict SMP students Bengkulu City is significant with the index gain of 0,755 (high-level); 3) increase the ability to solve problems through the implementation of the model of teaching mathematics based on cognitive conflict SMP students Bengkulu City is significant with the index gain of 0,500 level (is).
