Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white label: ��� Ma) Lucaogou / on the timber���; (2) handwritten on yellow label: ���take it back from military area of Xinjiang in 1974���; (3) handwritten on white label: ��� Chirosia / orthostylata / sp.n.���; (4) handwritten on red label: ��� Chirosia / orthostylata / Chien et Fan / Type ���; (5) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: ��� TYPE / Chirosia / orthostylata / Qian et Fan ���. Preservation: pinned; specimen intact. Additional notes: Holotype collected by Jinquan Qian at Manasi of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on May 19 th, 1973, 2000 meters above sea level.
