Linked open data (LOD) is an essential component in semantic web architecture and is becoming increasingly important over time due to its ability to share and re-use structured data which is both human and computer readable over the web. Currently, many libraries, archives, museums etc. are using open source digital library software to manage and preserve their digital collections. They may also intend to publish their e-resources as "Linked Open Datasets" for further usage. LOD enables the libraries or information centers to publish and share the structured metadata that is generated and maintained with their own bibliographic and authority data in such a way that the other libraries and general community across the world can consume, interact, enrich and share. In this context, the key issue is to convert the library bibliographic data which is commonly known as metadata into LOD dataset. The purpose of this paper is to provide a methodology and technical aspects to design and publish a structured LOD dataset of bibliographic information from a digital repository developed with DSpace digital library software so that other libraries can link their repositories with these LOD for providing additional relevant resources to their end-users. The paper shows the process of integration and configuration of Apache Jena Fuseki (a tool for SPARQL Endpoint interface) with DSpace for converting metadata into Resource Description Framework (RDF) triple model and make them available in various RDF formats. It also discusses a model for building a LOD framework to convert and store RDF graph and RDF triple. This article highlights the practical experiences about the implementation of LIDO metadata schema in DSpace for managing museum and cultural resources. LIDO is a domain specific metadata schema for museum and cultural resources. Presently, library and information centers are not only building their digital institutional repository, but also museums, archiving centers are interesting to develop their digital archiving system. Before digital archiving, it is mandate to keep in mind that standard metadata schema should be provided for proper items or objects or resources for building digital archiving system for museum and cultural resources. DSpace is a popular system for building digital; institutional repositories. The DSpace uses general metadata schema i.e. Dublin Core metadata for generic resources. But it is very flexible to adopt a new metadata schema for building specific types of resources. This work includes how the DSpace is used for building a digital archiving system for museum and cultural resources and also shows the details steps of methodology to meet the experiences. Many online learning repositories available around the world. This paper provides a comparative analysis among selected online learning repositories (eGyankosh, ePG pathshala, MIT resources and Sodhganga) for learning resources. The comparative study is based on some analytical parameters, like generic, content related, retrieval related, post processing, interface related, etc. The collected data have been analysed on the basis of parameters. The results have been displayed through different types of diagrams like multiple bar diagrams, pie diagram, etc. It was found that none of the selected online learning repositories achieved the full score. The investigator evaluates the present information services of the National Agricultural Research System (NARS) Libraries and Agricultural Information Center, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC). Agricultural development is dependent to some extent on scientific services provided by NARS library and information professionals. The present study is a case study in nature. Judgmental random sampling was used to collect the data from the library professionals and staff and library users. Two sets of semistructured questionnaire were distributed among them. Besides, field visit, interviews and FGDs were employed in the study to find the qualitative results. The existing facilities, strength, and weakness of agricultural information services are identified in the study. The survey result indicates that the respondents desire for improving the quality of information services in the NARS libraries and information center. The study ended with recommendations for making the libraries digitally automated having ample internet facilities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
