The construction and development of new techniques for a nonlinear multivalued Boolean function is one of the important aspects of modern ciphers. These multivalued Boolean functions need to be defined over various algebraic structures which map multiple inputs on multiple outputs. Modern block ciphers are a combination of linear and nonlinear functions which adds diffusion and confusion capabilities. We have offered an innovative system for the construction of the confusion component of block cipher by using recurrent neural networks. Since the confusion component is a multivalued Boolean function, therefore, we need many to many types of recurrent networks with an equal number of inputs and outputs. With this scheme, we have achieved a standard benchmark nonlinear of 112 with balancednesss having low linear and differential probabilities. We evaluated some common and advanced measures for the eminence of randomness and cryptanalytics to observe the efficiency of the proposed methodology. These outcomes validated the generated nonlinear confusion components are effective for block ciphers and have better cryptographic strength in image encryption with a high signal-to-noise ratio in comparison to state-of-the-art techniques. Due to the widespread accessibility of the Internet, communicating and sharing multimedia content between people is extremely easy today. At the same time, however, a critical issue is the secure transfer of personal and protected material. In this article, we have proposed a new information security mechanism. The proposed system comprises two phases. In the first phase, the digital data is encrypted and in the second phase, the encrypted data is embedded into the cover data. The encryption scheme consists of both diffusion and confusion. For diffusion, we have utilized a logistic chaotic map-based novel diffusion. For confusion pre-defined highly nonlinear S-boxes are used. This mechanism provides dual layers of security to the confidential information, which makes it difficult for the intruder to extract the confidential information. The security analysis of the encryption and data hiding schemes are carried out and tabulated. For implementation on hardware the time analysis is carried out, and the time for encryption and data hiding comes out to be 1.662 seconds, which is reasonable for real-time implementation. In this paper, highly nonlinear substitution boxes (S-boxes) are generated by utilizing a chaotic map accompanied by the Grey wolf optimization technique. Image encryption is one of the sensitive areas used recently to save information over the Internet and confirms the security on a higher level. A new cryptosystem has been proposed for the encoding and decoding of images using sine map, chaotic tent map, and circulant matrices. The process involves three stages. The sine map is used for the permutation phase. In the substitution phase, the Hill cipher method together with prime circulant matrix are used and a chaotic tent map is used in the diffusion phase. The algorithm becomes impenetrable to resist differential- and statistical-type attacks. The algorithm's key space is sufficient in size to withstand brute-force attacks. This symmetric image encryption algorithm indicates good results for correlation analysis, key space analysis, entropy analysis, key sensitivity analysis, histogram analysis, number of pixel change rate (NPCR), unified average changing intensity (UACI), and peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR). Image fusion is the technique to obtain an image, possessing spatially and spectrally enhanced as compared to the individual high spatial and high spectral images. After obtaining a detailed image, propagation over an insecure channel is a critical issue to address. In this article, we have projected an image encryption structure for the fused image resulted from the multi-focus sensors. The projected scheme offered confusion as well as diffusion, which are the core parts of any symmetric cryptosystem. The projected cryptosystem has been tested against various security analysis and tabulated. The Number of Pixel Change Rate (NPCR) and Unified Average Change Intensity (UACI) are 99.62 and 33.49 shows the strength of the proposed encryption against differential attacks. For real-time implementation the time analysis is performed, for image fusion and encryption the algorithm only takes 1.268 s which makes it suitable for real-time implementation. Due to the recent advancement in the field of the Internet of Medical things (IoMT). To facilitate doctors and patients, in the process of diagnosis and treatment, the medical imaging equipment is connected to the IoMT. During communication over the network, these medical images are subjected to various threads. In this work, we have proposed a dual-layer data confidentiality scheme, firstly it encrypts the secret medical images followed by a data hiding scheme. The encryption scheme possesses diffusion and confusion, for confusion the encryption scheme utilizes logistic and tent maps for the generation of S-boxes. For data hiding, it utilizes Hessenberg and singular value decomposition (SVD). The proposed scheme is applied to highly correlated medical images. The proposed technique provides dual security to the confidential information and makes it difficult for the intruder to extract the confidential information. The encryption scheme is evaluated by using the standard performance indicators including statistical analysis, differential analysis, and NIST analysis, etc. The encrypted images have the highest practically achievable entropy of 7.999 which is closest to the ideal value of 8. The data hiding scheme is evaluated by using statistical analysis, Distance-based analysis, analysis based on pixel difference, and information theory. Recently, an encryption technique depending on discrete dynamical chaotic maps and Brownian motion was offered. We have developed a new mechanism of adding confusion, namely S 8 permutation of double affine transformation to construct 40320 new substitution boxes (S-boxes) having nonlinearity 112 from a single S-box. Moreover, nonlinear Lorenz dynamical system is utilized to select any three S-boxes from 40320 newly generated nonlinear components. To add diffusion in our proposed algorithm, we have utilized Chirikov discrete iterative map. The excellence of an offered digital image encryption has been examined and evaluated with standard benchmarks. In this research article, we have proposed a novel image encryption scheme for the confidentiality of digital information. The modern block ciphers based on confusion and diffusion characteristic, as proposed by Claude Shannon in 1949. Firstly, we have designed a nonlinear confusion component of a block cipher and apply the action of symmetry group S8 to generate a pool of 40,320 substitution boxes with the same cryptographic strength. In this article, our aim is to perform cryptanalysis of Logarithmic based image encryption scheme and investigate its potential key leakages by utilizing public key to recover its private key. Moreover, we have suggested chaos-based Logarithm scheme which is more secure. The Lorenz system is utilized in an anticipated mechanism which is sensitive to initial conditions and chaotic parameters. The proposed scheme is then authenticated by using available security performance benchmarks. To measure the security against different cryptographic attacks, we utilized the statistical analyses which are entropy and the correlation between the pixels, and the differential analyses which are number of changing pixel rate (NPCR) and the unified averaged changed intensity (UACI). In order to resist the brute force attacks, key sensitivity analyses and key space analyses is also performed. An S-box is based on Boolean functions which are essentially the foundation of symmetric cryptographic systems. The Boolean functions are used for S-box designing in block ciphers and exploited as nonlinear components. Boolean functions with optimal nonlinearity and upright cryptographic stuffs play a significant role in the design of block ciphers. Traditionally 8 × 8 S-box is a 16 × 16 look up table over Galois field G F 2 8 and has 112 feasible upper bonds for nonlinearity. A 24 × 24 S-box over Galois field G F 2 24 is not viable as the computer memory does not support it. In this paper for the construction of 24 × 24 S-box a rout is adopted via maximal cyclic subgroup of the multiplicative group of units of Galois ring G R 2 3 , 8. The newly constructed S-box has much higher confusion capability than any of 8 × 8 S-box. To judge the impact of this new 24 × 24 S-box an RGB color image encryption application is demonstrated. Initially, in the proposed encryption scheme we use 24 × 24 S-box for confusion in RGB channels of plain image, however for diffusion linear permutation P = i × 32 mod 257 is operated and then by the use of exclusive-or an encrypted image is obtained. Thus, we introduce a novel technique by which 24 binary bits are divided into 3 bytes and each one deals R, G and B channel of the color image separately. A comparison with chaos and DNA based image encryption schemes shows the performance results of this novel RGB image encryption and observed as meeting the standard optimal level. Making information invulnerable is one of the most critical issues of today's era where information is being sent from one source to another destination with expeditious rates. In this research article, linear canonical transform (LCT) along with Lorenz differential equation is subjected for the process of double image encryption for its inherent characteristics which implies the diffusion and confusion of current era. In the contemplated method standard color images; Lena and Pepper of size 256 × 256 are used. Image scrambling, LCT of first order and second order along with Lorenz system are adapted as the steps on encryption process. The reverse process of defined encryption scheme is endorsed for the reformation of the original plain images separately from the single encrypted image. For quality assessment of the encryption scheme; different security and statistical analysis are performed and histograms of all the images are analyzed. In this article, an idea to combine Brownian motion with ternary unique orientation has been implemented which is related to random motion over time and spatial coordinates. In this research article, we propose a new structure namely inverse left almost semigroup (LA-semigroup) by adding confusion in our proposed image encryption scheme along with discrete and continuous chaotic systems in order to complement the diffusion characteristics. The performance analysis was conducted in terms of the correlation analysis, the pixels uniformity analysis, the sensitivity analysis, the information entropy analysis, and pixels difference based measurements. The security of secret information becomes one of global issue in digitally advanced age. Several new digital information forms are now available because of advancement in multimedia tools and applications. In this article, we have projected an efficient digital contents confidentiality technique based on spinning half algebra. We have simulated the image pixels with spin half states sequence for defined range of phase to create confusion capability in our anticipated information confidentiality mechanism.
