El presente artículo académico tiene como objetivo realizar un estudio de los estereotipos rockeros mediante una investigación que se genera en torno a la Industria Cultural, a través de una relevancia sobre las prácticas culturales y comunicativas. Se realiza un análisis comparativo de fanpage sobre The Rolling Stones e Iron Maiden, que se complementa con entrevistas a tatuadores y personas que se han realizado tatuajes. Se utilizó el método descriptivo, que permitirá llegar a conocer la historicidad rockera y su acoplamiento en la sociedad actual. Se observará las estrategias de marketing que la industria cultural ha introducido en la sociedad a medida que se van implementando publicidades en entorno a la apariencia de los grupos rockeros. Se investiga cómo se construyen relaciones sociales, costumbres y comportamientos propios en los grupos rockeros, conociendo las verdaderas razones de cómo se mantiene esta cultura y quienes son los responsables que quiere conservar estos estereotipos en el rock. Se analiza, el nivel de aceptación y tolerancia que las personas tienen ante grupos que se visten en base a su esencia y personalidad, sin juzgarlos, ni dejarse llevar por los malos prejuicios que tratan de mostrar una imagen distorsionada de la realidad conjuntamente con la industria cultural. Se enmarca en la cultura de masas transformándose en un mecanismo de control social. Se expone la manipulación que los medios de comunicación producen en las publicidades. Se presentará los resultados que se obtuvo en las entrevistas, que proporcionaron información sobre los estereotipos rockeros y la industria cultural. The present academic article aims to carry out a study of rock stereotypes through a research that is generated around the Cultural Industry, through a relevance on cultural and communicative practices. A comparative fanpage analysis of The Rolling Stones and Iron Maiden is carried out, which is complemented with interviews with tattooers and people who have had tattoos done. The descriptive method was used, which will allow us to get to know the rock history and its connection to the current society. We will observe the marketing strategies that the cultural industry has introduced into society as advertisements are implemented around the appearance of rock groups. We will investigate how social relationships, customs and behaviours are built in rock groups, knowing the real reasons of how this culture is maintained and who are the responsible that want to preserve these stereotypes in rock. It analyses the level of acceptance and tolerance that people have towards groups that dress according to their essence and personality, without judging them, or letting themselves be carried away by the bad prejudices that try to show a distorted image of reality together with the cultural industry. It is part of the mass culture, becoming a mechanism of social control. It exposes the manipulation that the media produce in advertising. The results obtained in the interviews, which provided information about rock stereotypes and the cultural industry, will be presented.
