AMLs are tumors composed of mature adipose and hematopoietic components and are commonly found in patients with CAH. The study found that CAH-affected adrenal tissue and myelolipomas showed increased expression of inflammatory cells, stem cells, B cells, and adipogenic markers. In vitro studies also revealed the differential expression of genes involved in cell cycle progression and tumorigenesis.
