This manuscript studies new concepts of hybrid F-contractions on a complete metric space. It provides new conditions for the existence of fixed points for such mappings. The main idea of this paper unifies a few important results in the corresponding literature. Some of these consequences are highlighted and discussed as corollaries. In this manuscript, the concept of Jaggi-type hybrid (𝐺, 𝜙, 𝐹 )-contraction is introduced. Some novel fixed point theorems that cannot be inferred from their cognate ones in both metric and quasi metric spaces are established. A non-trivial example is also provided to support the assumptions forming our obtained theorems. As an application, one of our results is utilized to study new conditions for the existence and uniqueness of a solution to a Fredholm-type integral equation.

In this paper, we introduce new concepts, admissible multivalued hybrid $\mathcal{Z}$-contractions and multivalued hybrid $\mathcal{Z}$-contractions in the framework of $b$-metric spaces and establish sufficient conditions for existence of fixed points for such contractions. A few consequences of our main theorem involving linear and nonlinear contractions are pointed out and discussed by using variants of simulation functions. In the case where our notions are reduced to their single-valued counterparts, the results presented herein complement, unify and generalize a number of significant fixed point theorems due to Branciari, Czerwik, Jachymski, Karapinar and Argawal, Khojasteh, Rhoades, among others. Nontrivial illustrative examples are provided to support the assertions of the obtained results. From application point of view, some fixed point theorems of $b$-metric spaces endowed with partial ordering and graph are deduced and solvability conditions of nonlinear matrix equations are investigated.

In this manuscript, we consider some hybrid contractions that merge linear and nonlinear contractions in the abstract spaces induced by the Branciari distance and the Branciari b-distance. More precisely, we introduce the notion of a ( p , c ) -weight type ψ -contraction in the setting of Branciari distance spaces and the concept of a ( p , c ) -weight type contraction in Branciari b-distance spaces. We investigate the existence of a fixed point of such operators in Branciari type distance spaces and illustrate some examples to show that the presented results are genuine in the literature.

In this manuscript, we introduce the notion of b-hybrid contraction in the setting of b-metric space. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for this contraction. Our results combine and merge several existing results in the corresponding literature and we list some of them as corollaries. Finally, we consider an Ulam’s type stability for an application.

In this manuscript, we aim to provide a new hybrid type contraction that is a combination of a Jaggi type contraction and interpolative type contraction in the framework of complete metric spaces. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of such a hybrid contraction in separate theorems.
