Precision neurosurgery concept as well as the establishment of it's technical platform, have played essential roles in promoting the modern surgical management of brain gliomas in China.In the past decade,the multidisciplinary integration of medical sciences and technology innovations has significantly promoted the clinical implementation of new imaging and novel navigation technology.With active clinical translational research and practice,precision neurosurgery has developed from "startup prologue" (simple anatomical navigation) to "precision neurosurgery 1.0" (intraoperative MRI with multimodal neuronavigation),followed by "precision neurosurgery 2.0" (informative and systematic upgrading).In the past decade,Chinese researchers have made significant and remarkable achievements in precision neurosurgery through continuous efforts and innovation.In the future,state-of-art technologies such as artificial intelligence on deep learning and machine learning,multimodal real-time navigation,intraoperative optical imaging,and targeted molecular imaging technology will promote the development of precision neurosurgery in a coordinated manner, leading to the advent of "precision neurosurgery 3.0".精准神经外科理念的发展及相关技术平台的建设对我国脑胶质瘤外科的发展有重要的推动作用。10年的发展历程中，通过医学和理工学科的多学科、多领域交叉融合，不断整合新的成像和导航手段，并积极进行临床转化研发与实践，使精准神经外科经历了从单纯解剖导航的“初创时代”，到基于多模态导航和术中MRI的“精准神经外科1.0”时代，再到信息化、体系化升级的“精准神经外科2.0”时代。我国学者通过不断努力和创新，取得了许多令人瞩目的成绩。未来，人工智能深度机器学习、多模态图像实时融合导航手术、光学成像、靶向分子影像等前沿技术将协同推动脑胶质瘤外科的发展，引领“精准神经外科3.0”时代的到来。.

Adenosine, as an endogenous purine nucleoside, is widely distributed in various tissues and organs of the body. It binds to adenosine receptors to regulate a variety of important biological processes. Adenosine 2A receptors have a close relationship with the occurrence and development of various clinical diseases. As the most common primary brain cancer in adults, glioblastoma shows an extremely poor prognosis. Glioblastoma-associated deaths account for approximately 3%-4% of all malignancy-associated deaths. Numerous microRNAs (miRNAs) play important roles in the occurrence and progression of solid tumors. Herein, identifying functional miRNAs and the central molecular mechanisms would provide novel proofs for the development of targeted cancer therapies. In this study, we described the role of miR-449b-5p in restraining ontogenesis and progression of glioblastoma.Human glioblastoma tissues were provided by our hospital. Human U251 glioblastoma cells were infected with lentivirus induced miR-449b-5p mimics or miR-449b-5p siRNA. Real-time qPCR was carried out to determine miRNA expression. Tumor spheres formation, MTT assay, and BrdU cell proliferation assay were used to evaluate the growth ability of U251 cells. Western blot assay was performed to measure protein expression. ChIP was used to detect the capacity of β-catenin to recruit its downstream genes. Dual-Luciferase assay was conducted to detect the ability of miR-449b-5p to regulate the 3'UTR (untranslated regions) of WNT2B. TOP/FOP ratio was used to evaluate the activity of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.Down-regulation of miR-449b-5p expression was found in both human glioblastoma tissues and cell lines, which was negatively associated with the clinical stages. Up-regulation of miR-449b-5p inhibited tumor spheres formation, cell viability and proliferation ability of glioblastoma cells. The expression levels of WNT2B and nuclear β-catenin were negatively associated with miR-449b-5p levels in glioblastoma cells. MiR-449b-5p inhibited Wnt/β-catenin signaling by targeting WNT2B.MiR-449b-5p acts as a tumor suppressor and retards the oncogenesis of glioblastoma, which is achieved via inactivation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling by directly targeting WNT2B.

Primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG) is the most common type of glaucoma in China. In recent years, lens extraction has gradually become one of the main means of PACG treatment. To study the expression of micro ribonucleic acid (miR)-320a in synovial tissues of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and explore the influences of miR-320a on the proliferation and apoptosis of fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLSs) in RA and its mechanism.The expression level of miR-320a in synovial tissues of 40 healthy people and 32 RA patients was detected via reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The FLSs were isolated from RA patients, cultured in vitro and divided into Control group and miR-320a mimic group. The proliferation and apoptosis of FLSs in each group were observed. Finally, the expression level of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK)-extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) 1/2 in each group was detected via Western blotting.The expression level of miR-320a in synovial tissues of RA patients was significantly lower than that in healthy people (p0.05). After miR-320a mimic was transfected into FLSs cultured in vitro, EdU staining and flow cytometry analysis were performed. The results revealed that the proportion of EdU-positive cells significantly declined in miR-320a mimic group, the proportion of cells in G0/G1 phase was increased, while the cells in G2/M and S phases were significantly decreased (p0.05). Above data indicated that the cell proliferation ability was significantly inhibited. In addition, the results of flow cytometry also showed that the apoptosis rate of FLSs in miR-320a mimic group was significantly higher than that in Control group (p0.05). The results of Western blotting manifested that the Bcl-2 associated X protein (Bax)/Bcl-2 ratio in miR-320a mimic group was also obviously increased (p0.05). According to further studies, the phosphorylation level of ERK1/2 in miR-320a mimic group was remarkably inhibited (p0.05).The expression level of miR-320a significantly declined in synovial tissues of RA patients. MiR-320a attenuated proliferation and promoted apoptosis of FLSs through inhibiting the activation of the MAPK-ERK1/2 signaling pathway.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Inflammation comprises important aspects of large-artery atherosclerosis (LAA) stroke pathophysiology. YKL-40 is a new and emerging biomarker that is associated with both acute and chronic inflammations. Elevated serum concentrations of YKL-40 have been reported in patients with atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular diseases. This study investigates whether serum YKL-40 concentrations on admission can predict 3-month clinical outcomes after LAA stroke. METHODS We recruited control patients (n=85) and those with LAA stroke (n=141) according to the TOAST classification system. To investigate the relations between the steatosis and liver functions, inflammations, and glucolipid metabolism in chronic hepatitis B patients.A total of 144 chronic hepatitis B patients who were admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to April 2017 were selected and divided into the steatosis group (n=73) and the non-steatosis group (n=71) according to the detection of hepatic puncture biopsy. The general information of the patients including age, sex, and body mass index (BMI) was collected, and patients' liver functions, inflammations, and glucolipid metabolism indicators were determined and compared between the chronic hepatitis patients with steatosis and without steatosis. The chronic hepatitis patients with steatosis were further divided into the normal group and the abnormal group based on the level of C-reactive protein (CRP) (8 mg/L). Besides, according to the level of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), these patients were divided into the normal liver function group (AST40 U/L) and the abnormal liver function group (AST40 U/L), among whom the hepatic steatosis, glucolipid metabolism, and inflammations were compared. At the same time, the chronic hepatitis B patients with steatosis were divided into Group F1, Group F2, and Group F3 based on the fatty degeneration grade, the correlations of steatosis with inflammations, glucolipid metabolism, and liver functions were analyzed. At last, the regression analyses between steatosis and the inflammation grade, glucolipid metabolism and liver function indicators were conducted for Group F1, F2, and F3, respectively.In the chronic hepatitis B patients with steatosis, liver function indicators-alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and AST, levels of inflammatory factors-interleukin-2 (IL-2), IL-6 and CRP and glucolipid metabolism indicators-fasting blood glucose (FBG), 2h postprandial blood glucose (2h PBG), fasting insulin (FINS), triacylglycerol (TG), total cholesterol (TC), and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) were significantly higher than those without steatosis (p0.05). The steatosis, liver functions, and glucolipid metabolism indicators were statistically different between patients in the normal inflammatory factor group and the abnormal inflammatory factor group (p0.06). In addition, the liver function indicators (ALT and AST) and glucolipid metabolism indicators (FBG, 2h PBG, FINS, TG, TC, HDL, and LDL) in the abnormal group were statistically higher than those of normal inflammatory factor group (p0.05). In the normal liver function group, the average fatty degeneration grade was statistically lower than that in the abnormal liver function group (p0.05), and glucolipid metabolism indicators (FBG, 2h PBG, FINS, TG, TC, IL-2, IL-6, CRP, HDL, and LDL) were also markedly lower than those in the abnormal liver function group (p0.05). The steatosis was positively correlated with relevant indicators, including the blood glucose indicator of FBG (r=0.509, p0.05), liver function indicator of AST (r=0.602, p0.05), the blood lipid indicator of TG (r=0.740, p0.05), and the inflammatory factor of CRP (r=0.882, p0.05), respectively. The disease course, BMI, 2h FBG, FINS, TG, TC, HDL, LDL, AST, ALT, and inflammatory factors of IL-2, IL-6, and CRP were involved in risk factors of steatosis (p0.05).Our data demonstrates that the steatosis is correlated with liver functions, glucolipid metabolism and inflammation level in chronic hepatitis B patients, and the foregoing indicators can affect the disease development of chronic hepatitis B patients with steatosis.

Colon cancer is a common malignant tumor with particularly high morbidity and mortality. The aim of this study was to compare the effect of quick rehabilitation nursing and routine nursing in postoperative recovery of patients with colon cancer after laparoscopic surgery. Two hundred forty patients with colon cancer were classified into four random groups (A, B, C and D, with 60 patients in each group). All patients underwent surgery to remove the colon tumor by laparoscopy under general anesthesia. Patients in groups A and B received quick rehabilitation nursing for post-surgery recovery. In group C patients, local anesthesia associated with quick rehabilitation nursing for post-surgery recovery was used. Group D was used as control group and the patients were treated based on routine nursing. Time to get out of bed, first bowel movement time and the average time of hospitalisation in group A was lower than group D (p less than 0.05), postoperative leukocyte level as well as the occurrence rate of nausea and vomiting, ankylenteron and pelvic adhesion was decreased in group A compared to group D (p less than 0.05), but the postoperative albumin and total protein level was higher than group D (p less than 0.05). The serum level of C-Reactive Protein (CRP) and interleukin 6 (IL-6) in group A was decreased compared to group D several days after surgery (p less than 0.05); group B had 4 cases of intestinal obstruction after surgery that could be cured through conservative treatment, while group D had 10 cases of intestinal obstruction, 8 of which could be cured through conservative treatment and two needed surgery (p less than 0.05); VAS for pain degree of group C in active state was clearly lower at 1h, 5h, 7h, 15h, 30h and 42h after surgery, and side effects of postoperative analgesia were clearly reduced. Time to get out of bed was obviously decreased, while there was no evident effect on postoperative dosage, chronic pain and complications. Adopting quick rehabilitation nursing can effectively reduce occurrence of complications and postoperative pain, speed up the recovery of gastrointestinal function, shorten the length of stay, and improve patients’ satisfaction.
