The article discusses intellectual mysticism in the works of religious leader Yça Gedelli and an anonymous author of a Spanish language Hebrew aljamiado poem about the biblical Akedah (sacrifice of Isaac). Topics include the relation of Yça to theologian Juan de Segovia, Yça's role in a translation of the Qur'an, and the notion of hidden knowledge in relation to mysticism.

Faculty of medicine at University of Western Ontario started collecting medical artifacts as part of their teaching collection which then became part of historical exhibits at Medical Museum and Archives at University hospital.

The reading of the Libro de buen amor, one of the most important work of medieval Iberian literature, hitherto done as a work of didactic sermonizing, as an erotic songbook where clergy is instructed in the ways of seduction, and as a philosophical treatise pondering the ethical tension between right and wrong, has failed to offer convincing evidence that the Libro follows precisely any one contemporary western European model. A rereading suggests a possible Judeo-Iberian Model for the work.
