The article discusses a debate pertaining to the end of Ramesses III’s life with a series of historical documents, of which the most important being the Judicial Papyrus of Turin. It also presents the Judicial Papyrus recounting four separate trials and lists the punishments meted out to those involved in the conspiracy. The CT investigation revealed a serious wound in the throat of Ramesses III’s mummy, directly under the larynx.
