Abstract

The article focuses on two 2014 reports from the British charity Contact a Family that are designed to raise awareness about the experiences of British parents with disabled children and provide information on how they can better engage with health care services. In the article the author offers opinions on several points raised in the reports and on the organization the Association of Chief Children's Nurses and a national disabled children's campaign in Great Britain called Every Disabled Child Matters.
