Objective: The aim of the present literature review was to determine the prevalence of the constipation symptom in cancer patients and the effect of interventions used for constipation by examining the theses and research articles which were conducted in the field of nursing in Turkey.Material and Method: A search was performed between 01.01.2010 and 15.11.2020 dates, on Council of Higher Education National Thesis Center, Google Academic Turkish search engine, and National Academic Network and Information Center Turkish Medical Directory by using the keywords "cancer and constipation", "chemotherapy and symptom", "cancer and symptom". A total of 14 theses and 13 research articles were detected. Five theses and four research articles which included constipation symptom in its content, had accessible full texts, were published in Turkish, and included participants aged 18 years and older were investigated in the present literature review.Results: In the investigated studies, the prevalence of constipation in cancer patients was determined between 19.5-69%. According to the results of the experimental thesis studies, it was determined that education for symptom control and prevention decreased the frequency of constipation (16.7-46.7% in the experimental group; 69.4-83.3% in the control group) in cancer patients.Conclusion: In many of the studies that were conducted in the field of nursing in Turkey, educations for preventing constipation were detected effective in reducing the frequency and severity of constipation., Amaç: Bu literatür incelemesinin amacı, Türkiye’de yapılan hemşirelik alanındaki tezleri ve araştırma makalelerini inceleyerek, kanser hastalarında konstipasyon semptomunun prevalansını ve konstipasyona yönelik uygulanan girişimlerinin etkisini belirlemekti.Gereç ve Yöntem: Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu Ulusal Tez Merkezi, Google Akademik Türkçe arama motoru ve Ulusal Akademik Ağ ve Bilgi Merkezi Türk Tıp Dizini üzerinde 01.01.2010 ve 15.11.2020 tarihleri arasında; “kanser ve konstipasyon”, “kemoterapi ve semptom”, “kanser ve semptom” anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak bir tarama yapıldı. Toplam 14 tez ve 13 araştırma makalesi tespit edildi. İçeriğinde konstipasyon semptomunu bulunduran, metnin tamamına erişilebilen, Türkçe yayınlanmış ve 18 yaş ve üzeri katılımcıları içeren beş tez ve dört araştırma makalesi bu literatür derlemesinde incelendi.Bulgular: İncelenen çalışmalarda, kanser hastalarında konstipasyon prevalansı %19,5- 69 arasında belirlendi. Deneysel tipte yapılan tez çalışmalarının sonuçlarına göre kanser hastalarında semptom kontrolü ve önlemeye yönelik verilen eğitimlerin konstipasyon sıklığını (deney grubu %16,7-46,7; kontrol grubu %69,4-83,3) azalttığı saptandı.Sonuç: Türkiye’de hemşirelik alanında yapılan çalışmaların çoğunda, konstipasyonu önlemeye yönelik verilen eğitimlerin konstipasyon sıklığını ve şiddetini azaltmada etkili olduğu saptandı.

Aim: This research was carried out to examine the opinions of fourth grade students of nursing department about the differences between theoretical education and clinical practices in nursing profession.Materials and methods: The sample of the descriptive and cross-sectional study consisted of 131 fourth grade nursing students who agreed to participate in the study in the 2018-2019 academic year. The data of the research were collected with the Introductory Information Form and the Bachelor’s Degree Nursing Program Assessment Scale (BNPAS). The total score of BNPAS is 100, and the low score indicates that the program's effectiveness is negative and the high score is the program's effectiveness. Frequency, mean, percentage values, correlation analysis and Mann-Whitney U test were used to evaluate the data.Results: It was found that 53.4% of the students thought to work as a clinician after graduation and 87% thought that there was a difference between theoretical education and clinical practices in the nursing profession. The most common reason leading to difference is respectively; It was determined that the number of students was high (74.8%), insufficient application areas (63.4%), and the lack of teaching staff (47.3%). In order to overcome this difference of students; It has been determined that it makes suggestions such as strengthening the cooperation between clinical nurses and teaching staff (61.1%), establishment of simulation laboratories in schools (58.8%) and ensuring that the teaching staff deficit is in clinics (55%). The mean score of the students to evaluate the undergraduate program in nursing was 61.1±19.8.Conclusion: It was determined that the majority of students stated that there was a difference between theoretical education and clinical practices in nursing and they evaluated the undergraduate program in nursing as close to positive., Amaç: Bu araştırma hemşirelik bölümü dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin hemşirelik mesleğinde teorik eğitim ile klinik uygulamalar arasındaki farklılıklara ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapıldı.Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipte olan çalışmanın örneklemini 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 131 dördüncü sınıf hemşirelik öğrencisi oluşturdu. Araştırmanın verileri Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu ve Hemşirelikte Lisans Programını Değerlendirme Ölçeği (HLPDÖ) ile toplandı. HLPDÖ’nün toplam puanı 100 olup, düşük puan programın etkinliğinin olumsuz, yüksek puan ise program etkinliğinin olumlu olduğunu göstermektedir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde frekans, ortalama, yüzde değerleri, korelasyon analizi ve Mann-Whitney U testi kullanıldı.Bulgular: Öğrencilerin %53.4’ünün mezuniyet sonrası klinisyen olarak çalışmayı düşündüğü ve %87’sinin hemşirelik mesleğinde teorik eğitim ve klinik uygulamalar arasında farklılık olduğunu düşündüğü saptandı. Farklılığa yol açan en sık nedenin sırasıyla; öğrenci sayısının fazlalığı (%74.8), uygulama alanlarının yetersizliği (%63.4) ve öğretim elemanlarının öğrencilerin yanında olamaması (%47.3) şeklinde olduğu tespit edildi. Öğrencilerin bu farklılığın giderilmesi için; klinik hemşireleri ile öğretim elemanları arasındaki iş birliğinin güçlendirilmesi (%61.1), okullarda simülasyon laboratuvarlarının kurulması (%58.8) ve öğretim elemanı açığının giderilerek kliniklerde olmalarının sağlanması (%55) şeklinde önerilerde bulunduğu belirlendi. Öğrencilerin hemşirelikte lisans programını değerlendirme ölçeği puan ortalamasının ise 61.1±19.8 olduğu saptandı. Sonuç: Öğrencilerin çoğunluğunun hemşirelikte teorik eğitim ve klinik uygulamalar arasında farklılık olduğunu ifade ettiği ve hemşirelikte lisans programını olumluya yakın olarak değerlendirdikleri tespit edildi.

Amaç: Bu çalışmada Trabzon ilinde evde yaşayan genç yaşlıların ilaç yönetimi, ev içi düzenlemeleri, egzersiz alışkanlıkları ve yaşam kalitesi ile düşme risk düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışma için gerekli izinler alındıktan sonra Trabzon il merkezinde belirlenen iki aile sağlığı merkezine kayıtlı 65-74 yaş arası ve araştırma kriterlerine uyan 35 yaşlı birey çalışmaya dâhil edilmiştir. Verilerin toplanmasında, Düşme Yönünden Ev İçi Özellikleri Değerlendirme Formu, DENN Düşme Risk Değerlendirme Skalası, SF-36 Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği ve araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan sosyodemografik veri formu, İlaç Kullanıma İlişkin Bilgi Formu ve Düşmeye İlişkin Veri Toplama Formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde SPSS 21.0 Paket programı, analizinde frekans, ortalama ve yüzde değerleri kullanıldı. Bulgular: Çalışmaya alınan yaşlıların yaş ortalaması 69.57±3.50’tir. Yaşlıların %91.4’ünün eğitim durumu ortaöğretim ve altı, %54.3’ü bekardır. Araştırma kapsamına alınan yaşlıların tamamının kronik hastalığı bulunmakta ve ilaç kullanmaktadır. Günde bir-iki adet ilaç kullanan yaşlıların oranı %51.4’tür. Son bir yıl içinde yaşlıların %51.4’ü hiç düşmemişken, %22.9’u bir kez, %25.7’si ise iki kez ve üzeri düşmüştür. Ayrıca yaşlıların %31.5’inin az, %31.4’ünün orta ve %37.1’inin yüksek düşme riski bulunmuştur. Düşme yönünden ev içi çevre özellikleri değerlendirmesinde yaşlıların yaşadığı evde banyo ve tuvalet (3.34±1.58) yüksek düşme riskine sahip olan alandır. SF-36 Yaşam kalitesi ölçeğinin alt boyutlarına göre ise sosyallik işlevsellik (45.71±4.66), fiziksel fonksiyon (50.42±5.13), enerji/ canlılık/vitalite (52.00±2.63), genel sağlık algısı (52.71±2.83) ve ruhsal sağlık (67.31±2.39) alt boyutu yüksektir. Sonuç: Araştırma kapsamındaki yaşlıların yaklaşık yarısının düştüğü ve düşme risklerinin yüksek olduğu, ayrıca yaşlıların yaşam kaliteleri incelendiğinde fiziksel rol puanlarının düşük, ruhsal sağlık puanlarının yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir., Objective: In this study, it was aimed to determine the risk levels of drug administration,domestic regulation, exercise habits and quality of life and falling levels of communitydwelling young seniors living in Trabzon province. Materials and Method: After obtainingthe necessary permissions for the study, 35 elderly people were included into the study whowere between 65-74 years, matched the research criteria and registered to two determinetedfamily healthcare centers. In the collection of data, Household Characteristics Evaluation Formfor Fall, DENN Fall Risk Assessment Scale, SF-36 Quality of Life Scale and socio-demographicdata form, research form for Drug Use and Data Collection Form for Falling were used. In theevaluation of data SPSS 21.0 package program was used. In the analysis of data; frequency,mean and percentage values were used. Findings: The mean age of elderly people who wereincluded in the study was 69.57 ± 3.50 years. 91.4% of the elderly graduated from secondaryeducation or lower, and 54.3% are unmarried. All of the elderly included in the study hadchronic disease and used medicines. The proportion of the elderly who used one or two drugsper day was 51.4%. In the last year, 51.4% of the elderly never fell, while 22.9% once, 25.7%twice and more. Also, 31.5% of elderly had low falling risk, while 31.4% had moderate risk and%37.1 had high risk of falling. The bathroom and toilet (3.34 ± 1.58) had a high risk of falling inthe house where the elderly live in considering the environmental characteristics of the housein terms of falling. According to the subscales of SF-36 quality of life scale, social functioning(45.71 ± 4.66), physical functioning (50.42 ± 5.13), energy / liveliness / vitality (52.00 ± 2.63),general health perception (52.71 ± 2.83) and mental health ± 2.39) sub-dimension were high.Conclusion: It was determined that approximately half of elderly in the study falled and theirfalling risk were high. Also; it was determined that physical role scores were low and mentalhealth scores were high when analyzed the quality of life of elders.

Amaç: Bu çalışma, kemoterapi alan hastalarda psikolojik semptomları belirlemek amacı ile yapılmıştır.Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemini 01 Haziran-01 Eylül 2011 tarihleri arasında Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Farabi Hastanesi Ayaktan Kemoterapi Ünitesi’ne kemoterapi almak için başvuran 180 hasta oluşturmuştur. Veriler “Hasta Bilgi Formu” ve “Kısa Semptom Envanteri” ile yüz yüze görüşme tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır.Bulgular: Hastaların %57.8’i kadın, %46.0’sı 60-79 yaş grubunda, %93.9’u evli, %45.0’i ilköğretim mezunu, %52.8’i ev hanımı, %58.4’ü 650 TL altında gelire sahip ve %40.6’sı ilçede yaşamaktadır. Hastaların %35.6’sı gastrointestinal sistem kanseri, %41.1’i Evre-I’de olup %67.8’i iki saatten daha uzun süre kemoterapi almakta ve %48.3’ü kemoterapi sırasında herhangi bir uğraşıda bulunmamaktadır. Hastaların Kısa Semptom Envanteri alt ölçek puan ortalamaları; somatizasyon 1.39±0.90; obsesif-kompülsif 0.67±0.73; kişilerarası duyarlılık 0.74±0.73; depresyon 0.51±0.63; anksiyete 0.70±0.85; fobik-anksiyete 0.36±0.48; öfke-düşmanlık 0.62±0.68; paranoid düşünce 0.41±0.54; psikotizm 0.77±0.66 ve ek skala (uyku, iştah bozuklukları, suçluluk duygusu) 3.62±2.72 olarak saptanmıştır. Hastaların cinsiyeti, medeni durumu, eğitim durumu, mesleği, gelir düzeyi ve kanser evresine göre Kısa Semptom Envanteri puanlarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur (p, Objective: This study was carried out to determine the psychologic symptoms of patients receiving chemotherapy.Method: The sample of the study consisted 180 patients who come to receive chemotherapy to the Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine, Farabi Hospital Chemotherapy Unit between 01 June to 01 September 2011. Data was collected with the "Patient Information Form" and "The Brief Symptom Inventory" using face to face interviews technique.Conclusion: Among the patients, 57.8% were female, 46.0% of the 60-79 age group, 93.9% were married, 45.0% primary education graduates, 52.8% are housewives, 58.4% below 650 TL with incomes and %40.6 live in the county. 35.6% of the patients is cancer of the gastrointestinal system, 41.1% of them are at stage-I, 67.8% receive longer than 2 hours chemotherapy and 48.3% is not available in any occupation during chemotherapy.
