Gog and Magog are portrayed in the Quran as two malevolent forces that once wreaked havoc on earth and will reappear near the end of time. Hadiths elaborate their natures and actions and served as the principal source for premodern Muslim treatment of the two. In the modern period, Gog and Magog have, besides remaining objects of Quran exegesis, received considerable attention from apocalyptic writers. This article contributes to current scholarship on the modern Muslim discourse on Gog and Magog by examining the views of some notable Sunnī Quran commentators, which have thus far been almost entirely neglected. I show that they adopt either a literal interpretation, whereby Gog and Magog are understood as certain humans, or a metaphorical interpretation, whereby they are conceived as symbols of various phenomena. I also survey, in contrast to most previous researchers, the ideas of several non-Arab writers, especially the Trinidadian Imran Nazar Hosein (b. 1942), author of several apocalyptic works, including a book on Gog and Magog and their dominance in today’s world. My discussion highlights the remarkable diversity of perspectives among Muslim scholars as well as the tendency to demythologize Gog and Magog by either avoiding hadiths or understanding them in light of contemporary circumstances. The rapid development of biotechnology and its presence in the various spheres of human social life brings new issues every day to different fields of science. Using a descriptive-analytical method, this research aims to answer the questions, "How is the embryonic life and when is the beginning of the soul, regarding the Qur'ān and Shiite Hadith?" and "Is determining the exact time of breathing soul in the fetus an intentional obligation or is it associated with symptoms that can be seen with the development of the fetus?" According to the Qur'ān and narratives, the embryo, a few days before the implantation stage, has vegetative life, not plant and human life. The embryonic cell, during the period when the physical creation of the fetus in the womb is not complete, does not have a human life. So it is not an actual human being. Then, the state in which the spirit is blown into the fetus starts with the movement of the fetus into the mother's body and is considered alive human. This honored soul (al-nafs al-muhtaramah) refers to a stage of embryonic development in which the human soul is blown up (wulūj). Additionally, acceptance of a specific time for breathing the soul is not an intentional obligation (ta'abbud) and is an unchangeable matter, but the birth of the soul does not have a specific and definite time, such as the end of four months, etc. Also, the diagnosis of this natural phenomenon will be based on its natural symptoms, which may be before or after the age of four months or may be realized at different times in different cases and living conditions. In this paper I describe the nature and scope of the concept 'sunna' in progressive Muslim thought. I argue that, unlike the hadith-based concept of sunna found in classical Islam, the concept of sunna in progressive Islam has strong affinities with how that concept was understood during the formative period of Islamic thought. In this respect, I show that the concept of sunna in progressive Islam operates within a broad contextualist and rationalist approach to Islamic theology and ethics, that it is a general ethico-behavioural embodied concept. It is not viewed as a source of Islamic belief, nor is it considered a form of unrecited revelation - although, for hermeneutical purposes, it exists in an organic and symbiotic relationship with the Qur'an. In the last section, I discuss several concrete implications this approach to the concept of sunna has in progressive Islam, doing away with many norms, values, and practices that have been associated with the concept in classical Islamic law/ethics, such as those pertaining to family and criminal law. With respect to this, I highlight how a progressive Muslim approach to normative sunna enables the Islamic interpretive tradition to shed ethically and epistemologically outdated norms, values, and practices that have often been defended on the basis of a concept of sunna that operates within the hermeneutical confines of classical Islamic theology and Islamic legal theory. A Dār is a space that offers various courses and programmes that teach the Quran, the Hadith and the different branches of Islamic knowledge that derive from, and are in conversation with, both. The question this article intends to explore is: what is the Dār? It does so by looking at the temporal and geographic context the Dār exists in, and how it is situated historically, as well as its everyday rhythms. The vignettes presented throughout the article provide insight into the ways in which a space of knowledge can exist, teasing the bounds of structure, order and rigidity, allowing us to explore potential imaginaries to the ways we have experienced, and the ways we imagine, Islamic spaces of knowledge to be. PLASTIC surgery ,THERAPEUTICS ,THEOLOGY ,HADITH - Abstract
The market for aesthetic and medical procedures has experienced a substantial increase as people strive to improve their looks or correct abnormalities. Yet, within the framework of Islamic beliefs, these methods are bound by particular restrictions and ethical concerns. This paper examines the Islamic viewpoint of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, with a specific emphasis on the theology and jurisprudential principles that determine its permission. The doctrines of Islam, principally based on the Qur'an and Hadith, highlight the sacredness of the human form as it is created by Allah (SWT) and the significance of preserving its inherent condition. As a result, Islamic thinkers distinguish among surgeries that are considered medically essential and those done just for cosmetic purposes. The study emphasizes that procedures intended to correct congenital disorders or injuries are commonly deemed acceptable, since they adhere to the ideals of requesting medical attention and upholding the rights of individuals. On the other hand, choice procedures for the purpose of improving appearance are usually subject to more rigorous examination and are generally avoided unless they cause serious emotional distress or social damage. The analysis also explores the ethical implications related to intents and the possible outcomes of modifying one's physical characteristics, highlighting the importance of operations being justified by significant advantages rather than simple pride. This dissertation seeks to give a thorough comprehension of the religious constraints put on reconstructive and reconstructive surgeries within the Islamic faith, providing insights into the equilibrium between medical progress and religious observance. Through the analysis of different viewpoints, the research adds to the wider discussion on medical morality in Islamic settings, advocating for an elegant approach to modern medical procedures. Purpose: Green Sukuk (GS) is a recent innovation that has the potential to serve humankind in sustainable development. However, its potential can only be achieved if the proceeds of GS are used for the priority areas needed. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out, using selected GS issued to determine whether the proceeds of GS are actually given to the needed areas. Design/methodology/approach: This is qualitative research utilizing case studies where the "priorities given" areas are observed through information collected from the library that consists of primary and secondary sources, such as statutes, books, articles and internet sources, while "priorities needed to issue GS" areas are determined through information collected from Al-Quran and Hadiths to derive conclusions. Findings: The outcome of this study reveals some untouched areas that needed immediate attention where GS can be implemented. This study recommends implementing GS for the plant, agriculture, forests, road, water, animal and others. One example in this regard is to create "forest sukuk," which is a tool for financing forest preservation. Originality/value: It is anticipated that, via the outcome of this research, GS issuance frameworks can be enhanced, especially in revising the areas in which Sukuk proceeds can be used, and it will provide guidance to the potential GS issuers to choose financing projects. Stylistics, a sub-discipline of applied linguistics, examines the aesthetic aspects of language style within texts, particularly literary ones. While it is often used to explore the linguistic beauty of the Quran, it is less frequently applied to Prophetic Hadith texts. This study aims to analyse Hadiths that contain conversations between the Prophet and his companions, known as the Qauli Hiwari-type, related to exemplary practices (Afdhal al-‘amal), in Sahih Bukhari. Textual analysis was applied using phonosemantic analysis to examine letter combinations in words and ascertain their meanings related to these practices. The findings reveal five exemplary practices in the Prophet's Hadiths as narrated in Sahih Bukhari, hierarchically arranged to reflect their significance: belief in Allah SWT and His Messenger, and performing prayers punctually, which are fundamental to Islam, followed by kindness to parents, Jihad fi Sabillillah, and performing Hajj Mabrur, subject to individual limitations and capacities. This study demonstrates that phonosemantic stylistics can effectively analyze the linguistic style of religious texts, particularly in discerning meanings embedded in letter combinations, and shows that Hadith texts can be examined through stylistics with appropriate guidelines. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the linguistic nuances and religious teachings within the Hadiths of Sahih Bukhari. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study focuses on the examination of the isnad (chain of transmission) of hadith as a fundamental source and the second authority in determining Islamic law. Unlike the Qur'an, the authenticity of hadiths, especially legal hadiths, remains a subject of extensive debate among hadith scholars, both Muslim thinkers and orientalists. Goldziher and Schacht were the primary pioneers in the critique of isnad studies. While Goldziher centered his research on hadith studies in general, Schacht focused specifically on the isnad of legal hadiths. This study's findings demonstrate that the 'conclusions' of Goldziher and Schacht are incorrect. Both scholars concluded that the isnad method only emerged in the second half of the second century Hijri. In reality, the isnad method existed much earlier than what Goldziher and Schacht had concluded. The second finding of this study indicates that the isnad of hadith significantly influences the determination of Islamic law among jurists (fuqaha'). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The development of the education system that utilizes technological advances has shown better results, but it will be even more perfect if previously disseminated the material with relevant verses from the Koran and the hadith of the prophet as a source of Islamic values. This research is expected to be able to produce one form of learning media that is effective and efficient in explaining microscopic chemical materials such as buffer solutions. The purpose of this research is to create a learning media that not only makes students interested, but can also provide moral values that they can apply in their daily lives. The subjects of this study were students of SMA Nazhatut Thullab, Sampang Madura. The method that is considered suitable for this research is Design Based Research (DBR) using the ADDIE model stages. As for the instruments used in the form of flowcharts, storyboards, and validation questionnaires. The results show that this e-module is said to be valid/feasible to use in learning. This can be seen from the results of the validation test from two aspects, namely the material and appearance with a value of 0.88 for validity which is classified as very good criteria. The results of this study are expected to be able to make products that can later become one of the learning media references that are effective and suitable for use during the learning process on buffer solution material and other related materials. HADITH ,ISLAM ,PROPHETS - Abstract
Al-Thaqalayn, an Islamic term denoting the Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt, is a fundamental resource for comprehending Islamic teachings and teachings. Extensive research has been devoted to Hadiths that pertain to al-Thaqalayn within the Islamic tradition. This article presents an analysis of the Hadith of al-Thaqalayn, focusing on examining and validating the Sanad and Matan traditions associated with al-Thaqalayn to determine their authenticity and reliability. The takhrij technique entails scrutinizing the text of Hadith al-Thaqalayn by focusing on the passages that are infrequently employed. The findings indicate that the Sanad (chain of narrators) of the Hadith of al-Thaqalayn is classified as Dha'īf (weak) due to the presence of narrators who engage in tables (concealing the identity of their sources) and others who have been deemed unreliable. Upon examining the content of the Hadith, it becomes evident that Hadith al-Thaqalayn is in harmony with the Quran, does not conflict with the more authoritative Hadith, is based on rational thinking, and possesses a framework that accurately conveys the teachings of the Prophet. This study delves into the analysis of Hadith in H.M. Arsyad Thalib Lubis' Fatwa Book, titled Some Problems, with a specific focus on investigating the status of the Sanad and Matan, as well as exploring the method of Fiqhul Hadith employed in the book. The primary inquiries include determining Sanad's status, Matan's status, and the Fiqh al-Hadith method employed by Arsyad Talib Lubis. The research utilizes a literature-based approach with a scientific and methodological orientation. The findings reveal that out of 154 hadiths in the book, 97 are Sahih, 34 are Hasan, 14 are Da'if, 1 is Munkar, and 8 are not found in the Mutun al-Hadith. The Matan's status affirms that the contained hadiths align with the principles of the Qur'an, hadith, Ijma', Qiyas, and commendable Muslim practices, encouraging their incorporation into daily worship. The Fiqh al-Hadith method outlined in the book encompasses understanding the hadith following Quranic instructions, considering background, situational conditions, and purpose, distinguishing between variable means and fixed ends, discerning expressions of haqiqi and majadzi, recognizing the distinction between the unseen and the real, and ascertaining the meaning of words in the hadith. These findings contribute to a nuanced understanding of Hadith analysis and offer valuable insights for scholars and practitioners of Islamic jurisprudence. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

HADITH , *SIN , *GOD in Islam , *PEACE , *PROPHETS , *WISDOM , *SKEPTICISM - Abstract
In some places in the Qur'an and Hadith, the words like استغفار زلہ وزر غفلت لا ادرى ظلم ذنب ضل هم and سقم are attributed to the prophets messengers. It gives the impression that the Prophets (peace be upon them) may also commit sins. Although these persons are obliged to obey, their being sinners proves that their sins should also be followed and to consider the confirmation of these mistakes from Allah. While the wisdom of Allah requires that He does not command His servants for mistakes and evils. It has been the belief of the majority of the Ummah in every age that the Prophets (peace be upon them) are innocent of all kinds of disbelief and polytheism, bad faith and all kinds of sins. However, according to Fziliya and Azraqa among the Kharijites, it is possible to disbelieve in the Prophets (peace be upon them) because according to them, it is possible for the Prophets (peace be upon them) to commit major sins and their belief is that major sins are disbelief, therefore disbelief in the Prophets (peace be upon them) is also possible. In the same way, their theory is that before the declaration of prophethood, the Prophets (peace be upon them) may disbelieve (al-Iyāz billah). Apart from these two sects of Kharijites, according to the Shities, when the Prophets (peace be upon them) fear for their lives, taqiyyah is performed as can do taqiyyah. This article analyses different point of views about aşmat e Nabuwwat. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

HADITH ,THEOLOGY ,PRESIDENTIAL elections - Abstract
This article aims to analyze the contestation of the Presidential Election in Indonesia in 2024 using thematic studies of the Qur'an and Hadith. On a theological level, Muslims must determine a Qur'an candidate leader because Muslims in Indonesia will be the largest contributor of votes. The urgency of this research is to formulate the ideal presidential candidate according to Islamic guidance. This article uses qualitative research with a study of literature. Primary data sources in this research are verses of the Qur'an and Hadith. The collected data will be analyzed using the method of Tafsir Madhuri and content analysis. The results show that the value of leaders in the Qur'an and ideal leaders in Indonesia have some correlation with one another. Some criteria are that a statesman must be one with integrity, have ability and competence, be a visionary, be inclusive, should have risk management skills and also problem solving abilities, and especially understanding of the people and a patriotic charisma. Islamic leaders have a significant role in measuring the contestation of the 2024 Presidential Election, but this is not very substantive, considering that all pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates are homogeneous in terms of their religion. The Qur'anic level of leader criteria can be a further review for the community to determine political dynamics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The Prophet (pbuh) conveyed the revelation which he received from Lord (Allah) perfectly in accordance with the order "O Prophet! Convey what has been revealed to you from your Lord (Allah). If you do not do so, you have not fulfilled your duty as a prophet…" (al-Ma’idah 5/67). It is a well-known fact that in addition to the duty of conveying the message, he also had the duties of explaining and legislation. He was also sent as a teacher. As a reflection of the duty of explaining and as a teacher, he explained the revelation (wahy) and taught Muslims the knowledge they would need to live the religion of Allah thoroughly. In this context, the Messenger of Allah repeated the matters of importance three times. However, he acted carefully to teach the Companions some knowledge that he considered important. Prayers are the first of this knowledge. The prayer, which means the contact of the creature with his Lord (Allah) and his begging to his Lord (Allah), is an indication that the creature knows his limit and understands the greatness of his Lord. For this reason, the Prophet (pbuh), who was an example for Muslims in all matters, prayed a lot and taught them to his Companions. He became more insistent on teaching some prayers, which attracted the attention of the Companions. Indeed, because of his insistence, the Companions had the impression that he was teaching them the Qur’an. For this reason, when they were narrating some prayers, firstly they would say that the Messenger of Allah taught us this prayer as if he were teaching a surah from the Qur’an, and then narrate the prayer in question. The Companions also mentioned that the Prophet did not show the same care when teaching some prayers. As a result of the research, no study was found regarding the narration ‘’The Messenger of Allah used to teach us this prayer as if he were teaching a surah from the Qur’an.’’ For this reason, it was considered important to investigate the narrations narrated with these words, and it was thought that collecting the prayers that the Prophet gave importance to together would contribute to the field of ḥadīth and ḥadīth students. Document scanning method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. For this reason, the narrations related to the aforementioned phrase were searched from the books of ḥadīth. As a result of the research, it was found out that there were four prayers mentioned with these wordings. The first of these prayers is the at-taḥiyyāt prayer, which is accepted by the imams of the sects as an important part of the salah. The mentioned prayer was narrated by many Companions and was included in many ḥadīth books, especially the famous ḥadīth collections. The second prayer is the istikhāra (decision) prayer, which is a famous prayer narrated by many of the Companions, too. This prayer is also mentioned in many books of ḥadīth. The third prayer is the prayer to be recited after the ṣalli-bārik salawat in the tashahhud of the salah. In this prayer, the Prophet (pbuh) took refuge in Allah from the torments of hell and the grave, from Dajjal, and from the fitnah of life and death. The mentioned prayer is found in some ḥadīth books, too. The fourth prayer is a narration about being grateful for Allah's blessings and not being ungrateful, which means "O Allah, I seek refuge in you from turning your blessing into ingratitude, from stubbornly denying it after recognizing it, and from forgetting it and not praising it." The prayer in question was narrated only by Umar and our research revealed that it was mentioned in a ḥadīth book. The first three narrations are considered sahih (authentic) by ḥadīth scholars, while the last narration is considered ḥasan (good). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The role of intellect in interpretation, is one of the controversial topics among Quran scholars. It is important to take advantage of the power of thinking and accordingly, to use rational arguments in understanding the contents of the verses of the Qur'an. Throughout the history of interpretation, different groups such as Imamiyyah, Ash'ari, Mu'tazilah, and Non-Mu'tazilah, have discussed and disagreed about the permissibility and impermissibility of using rational arguments in understanding the verses. Investigating the realm of reason as a source of interpretation is one of the goals of this article. The findings of the research with the descriptive-analytical method of the data extracted from the library sources are aimed at the important fact that the intellect in direct and indirect forms can be influential in the interpretation of the Qur'an verses from different dimensions This type of intellect is in agreement with the provisions of the Qur'anic verses and hadiths, and it also shows the implementation of the provisions of the verses and hadiths in the attitude towards the intellect. Phobias are associated with anxiety disorders resulting from extreme feelings of fear that can interfere with a person’s daily life. Al-Quran is believed to be a miracle for human well-being and one of them is to be a source of treatment for physical and spiritual diseases. Among those discussed in the Qur’an are related to how to deal with the uncertainty of feelings such as fear and worry. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of identifying the verses of the Qur’an that are related to the basis of phobias, namely fear and worry, as well as identifying methods of dealing with them. The content analysis method was used to filter verses of the Quran related to anxiety and fear with the help of the Quran Al Kareem application through the iPad OS 13.1.2 operating system and the Quran for Android application through the Android operating system. There are 105 verses in the Quran that talk about the feeling of fear or worry that refer to the word al-khauf. Of the 105 verses, there are 24 verses that contain how to deal with al-khauf (CTK). Analysis of the 24 verses summarised that there are 12 practices or ways to deal with or avoid the feeling of fear arranged in order of priority based on the frequency stated in the verses. Among the identified CTK are believing in Allah, the Messenger, and the Last Day, fearing the commandments of Allah SWT, and not fearing the devil, doing righteous deeds, and always doing good, following Allah’s instructions (Al-Quran and Hadith), increasing prayers, delivering zakat/charity and others. The implication of the study is that Muslim medical and psychiatric experts can apply the methods and elements recommended by the Quran in treating and reducing the symptoms of phobias, especially for Muslim patients. Tafseer "Al-Kashf wa-l-bayān ʿan tafsīr al-Qurʾān" is a Musnad Tafseer of the 5th century Hijra, which has recently uncovered and published. One of the features of this is that this Tafseer is source for many well-known Tafaseer; Tafseer Baghawi, Tafseer Ibn e Katheer etc. And the Ahadiths mentioned in it are quoted by the authors, based on his own chain till Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, so this book can also be considered as a book of Hadith of the 5th century. References to this Tafseer were present in many known Tafseers, but this Tafseer existed as manuscripts or their copies and lacked the modern style of writing and printing, due to which it was not possible for the common people to use this Tafseer. But Maktaba Dar al-Tafseer, Jeddah, in 2015, under the supervision of Dr. Salah Ba Usman, Dr. Hassan Ghazali, Dr. Zaid Hamish and Dr. Amin Basha, published it in 33 volumes and made it available to the public. This paper sheds light on the biography of Imam Tha'labi and proves as an account of salient features of his splendid work of Quranic interpretation. All the qualities of his work are explained in detail, and this helps the reader to get enough knowledge about this Tafseer and its literary pattern. In this way this research adds a contribution to the efforts to bring this glorious work of Imam in front of this World. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The Qur’anic verses and prophetic traditions confirm the physical, ethical and universal perfection of a man. The highest level of perfection belongs to Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and to his righteous successors. Every man, according to the Sufi teaching, can potentially become perfect, while the main purpose of a perfect man is to serve others making them happy in this world and hereafter. Perfect men are teachers and guides to other people. Inspired with other Sufi scholars, Bosnian Sufis wrote about the Perfect Man. Their teachings greatly relied upon Ibn ʻArabi and Al- Ru:mi. They clearly deny any form of pantheism, panentheism, anthropomorphism (a combination of God and man), the embodiment of the God, the God becoming a man etc. Shaykh Mustafa Colic, in his teaching of the Perfect Man uses a new term in the Bosnian language 'Allah's Revealed Entirety'. His teaching, also, relies on the teaching of early Sufis but it contains some new aspects as well. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The study of hadith is an important component of Islamic education. In Islam, hadith knowledge is the second source of legislation after the Quran as a guide and reference. However, there is excessive dependence on unreliable sources in a network. I-Status Hadith Word Add-In is an application that allows users to quickly reveal hadith information, its source, original text, and status in one platform, rather than having to search for that information across multiple platforms. By using the I-Status Hadith Word Add-In, it can ease users search for hadith and display the original text with proper and understandable translations. This paper reports on a perception study among students of the Faculty of Quran and Sunnah Studies towards the use of the I-Status Hadith Word Add-In in writing their assignments. The purpose of this application built on top of Microsoft Word is to assist users in working on text editing involving hadith text and to ease the users retrieval of the source of hadith information according to their preferred format. An evaluation of the use of the I-Status Hadith Word Add-In was conducted among 40 students. The results indicate that the students agreed on the learnability, usefulness, ease of use, functionality and effectiveness, satisfaction, and Outcome/Future Use of the application. The potential use of the I-Status Hadith Word Add-In for teaching and learning is discussed at the end of this paper. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Religious moderation has been popular and widely promoted to students as a countermeasure to radicalism. However, it runs across several challenges. Not to mention that radicalism has extended its influence within Islamic universities in Indonesia. Many research organisations have found that Indonesian students tend to be radical. Hence, the discussion around religious moderation among students highlights its urgency. With emphasis on the reception of Islamic university students to religious texts, this study proposed the appropriate approach to religious moderation in the context of plural Indonesian society with the reception of Qur’anic verses and hadiths that promoted moderation. It employed a qualitative approach with a purposive sampling technique involving 81 students of Islamic Religious Education of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang as the research subjects. They were students from four semester IV and VI classes. This study revealed several key findings: firstly, the majority of students equate religious moderation with religious tolerance; secondly, students draw from a range of verses and hadiths that emphasise religious moderation, primarily on tolerance promotion; and thirdly, students’ application of religious moderation based on religious texts manifests through verbal, written and practical approaches. This study presents a model for developing religious moderation rooted in students’ comprehension of religious texts advocating moderation. This study implies using religious texts to promote moderate thought to lessen radicalism and intolerance in the world. Contribution: This study introduces a religious text-oriented approach to enhance the development of religious moderation, thereby refining strategies and methods that have predominantly emphasised aspects of social reality. The religious texts that advocate for moderation are accepted and applied by students in their lives. This contribution is crucial to lessening radicalism and intolerance in Indonesia.

VALUE engineering , *ACQUISITION of data , *HADITH , *THRIFTINESS - Abstract
This study revolves around Tawhidic Paradigm Elements (TPE) Towards Balancing the Quality of Value Engineering (VE). Tawhidic Paradigm (TP) is often understood as an abstract and theoretical sacred concept. This concept is often seen as appropriate for aspects of life that lead to matters relating to divinity in matters of worship alone. However, the results of this study have succeeded in proving that the ethical principles and values outlined by the tawhidic paradigm (TP) are universal. Therefore, it can be implemented in all fields of knowledge including value engineering (VE). This study uses a qualitative approach by using data collection and data analysis methods. Based on the research made, the content of value engineering (VE) has similarities with tawhidic paradigm elements (TPE). This similarity can be seen from several things, namely reducing cost refers to the moderate element (wasatiyyah), frugality and functionality. The thing that makes this tawhidic paradigm elements (TPE) more convincing is when the elements are supported by solid sources namely the Qur'an and hadith. This makes the tawhidic paradigm elements (TPE) a unique ethical framework as it combines 'Aqli (Human Knowledge) and Naqli (Revelation Knowledge). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to reveal the Islamic perspective on the concept of well-being and its relevance and implications for children's lives and parenting practices. It is important to understand the role of the religious value system as a driving force for parenting by paying attention to the various dimensions of children as a whole human being. The conceptual essence of the scope of well-being in an Islamic perspective can be drawn by studying a number of verses in the Qur'an and the Prophet's hadith. By using the results of research and literature review, this conceptual essence was developed into a description of a number of well-being principles as the basis for the implementation of parenting. The approach and method used in this writing is to collect the texts of the verses of the Qur'an and al-Hadith--which are assumed to contain the idea of well-being--then interpret it based on the paradigm and theoretical principles of education, kinship, and psychology to obtain the basic framework of well-being in an Islamic perspective. These paradigms and principles include, the purpose of life to obtain worldly and hereafter happiness; children are holistic human beings in all aspects of their lives; the development of all aspects of children's lives is the responsibility of their parents or families; child care must be in accordance with the child's growth and development; and Islamic spirituality is a fundamental factor that animates the optimization of aspects of children's lives, which include spirituality or religiosity, intellectuality, emotional/mental/psychological, physical, social, and environmental aspects. Well-being, in each of these aspects, is achieved through various treatments of parents toward their children in parenting. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The concept of equality is very abstract and broad in its nature. Different definitions of equality exist in the history of human knowledge. In the postmodern age, the idea of a universal definition of equality has become like a myth. Religious metaphysics draws its theorization on revelation. After the feminist intellectual resistance against patriarchy, it became more complicated and controversial. Many feminist thinkers revisit history through women's perspective. In the tradition of Islam, many Islamic feminist thinkers like Asma Barlas, Amina Wadud and Liela Ahmed present the particular theorization by women on gender equality. From the gender's perspective, Asma Barlas and Amina Wadud reinterpret the holy Quran. Their hermeneutical works are an important attempt to prove gender equality from the Qur'an. This article would focus on the work of Molana Ayyub Dehlvi (herein after Molana) and his interpretation of gender equality, being an orthodox religious scholar, Molana's interpretation is important and has not been discussed previously in the mainstream literature on Islamic feminism. The researchers used textual analysis with special reference to Molana Ayyub Dehlvi's work. The paper explains the prophetic status of women in the context of gender equality. This prophetic status strengthens the role of women and also breaks the stereotypes which exist in the contemporary intellectual world against Islam. The paper contributes to the discourse on gender equality in Islam. Moreover, it also sheds light on this discussion within the Islamic tradition of the sub-continent by a male religious scholar. Drawing on qualitative interviews with 278 self-identified Muslims from across Canada, this article examines how Muslim Canadians engage with sources of religious authority online. We focus on how participants assess the authoritativeness of websites, which figures they follow, and whether the Canadian context factors into how they interpret Islam-related material online. We both agree and disagree with scholarship that characterizes the Internet as democratizing the traditions of Islam (Bunt, 2018; Eickelman & Anderson, 2003; Mandaville in Theory, Culture & Society, 24:101–115, 2007; Robinson in Journal of the Royal Asiatic Society 19:339–354, 2009; Sands in Contemporary Islam 4:139–155, 2010), and with who see it as unchanging (Berkey, 2016). Our interlocutors suggest that the online context fosters a notable and visible bi-directionality of authority; moreover, content remains shaped by view counts and algorithms. Lastly, despite the online nature of the World Wide Web, the materiality, textuality, and visual markers of the Qur'an remain vital for our interlocutors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This objective study aims to demonstrate the effect of foods and drinks in the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah on physical health. It used the inductive and analytical approach. To achieve the objectives of the study; It traced the Qur'anic verses and the hadiths of the Prophet related to food and drink, analyzed the texts and the opinions of scholars on that matter. In order to show the effect of permitted and prohibited foods and drinks on human physical health. The study reached several results, the most important are: 1- Islam's care for physical health through the verses of the Holy Qur'an and the hadiths of the Prophet's Sunnah related to food and drink. Permissible foods and drinks have a great impact on a person's physical health, because they energize and strengthen the body. 2- Islam's care for the human being and urges him to preserve the elements of his physical health, one of which is to avoid forbidden foods and drinks because they have a negative impact on his physical health, and even his life. The issue of madd is one of the most fundamental issues in the science of qira'at and is discussed extensively in the literature. In addition, in some of the recent studies conducted in Türkiye, it has been observed that the issue of secondary madd (al-madd al-far'î) has been dealt with from the aspect of meaning in a different way from the discussions in the literature. In these studies, the amount of madds has been mentioned within the framework of the madd-meaning relationship and a claim has been made that the secondary madds based on lexical reasons deepen the meaning of the verses. In this paper, an attempt has been made to trace this argument in the qira'at literature, and the views of contemporary scholars on the subject have been included. Additionally, in order to point out the existence of the madd-meaning relationship other than the al-madd al-far'î, the prac-tice of exceptional al-madd al-şila, which is related to the meaning, was also touched upon. From this point of view, the main purpose of this study is to reveal the claim that "the far'î madds affect the meaning of the verses" and to reveal the literature's counterpart of the exceptional al-madd al-şila practice of relationship with the meaning. As a result of the research, it has been seen that this claim about the secondary madds does not correspond to the information in the qira'at literature. In the case of the exceptional madd of hâ al-kinâya, which is within the scope of the al-madd al-aşlî/al-madd al-tabîî (natural madd), its effect on the meaning has been identified in the works of qira'at, tajwîd, and some tafsir; however, it has been concluded that the phonological justifications for this exceptional example contain inconsistencies within themselves. Likewise, it has been deter-mined that an eclectic method has been used effectively in the justifications for the view in regard-ing the secondary madds. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
