Abstract

The article focuses on the geographic distribution of the small-sized dipsadid snake Pseudotomodon trigonatus which is endemic to Argentina. It states that the geographic distribution of the snake goes through the western, southern, and the neighboring areas of the Monte phytogeographic region. Furthermore, the new record for the species in the Chubut found by the author during a field herpetological survey on November 4, 2008 is discussed.
