POLITICAL violence , *SUBJECTIVITY in literature - Abstract
Seen from a perspective which is vigilant to multiple manifestations of symbolic violence, the building of literary canons studied at school and disseminated through institutions, the arts and mass media provides a significant field for examination. In the case of Argentina, from the gauchesco genre a way of viewing the gender positionings within the national community was outlined and the molding of subjectivities influenced. The literary corpus we studied (Ema, la cautiva and El vestido rosa by Cesar Aira, and Las aventuras de la China Iron by Gabriela Cabezón Cámara) interact with this strong expository position, the gauchesca position (heart of the national canon), in order to generate fictional diversions that disrupt the binary logic of the gauchesco genre. In this article, I place Ahmed's notion of the feminist killjoy into conversation with feminist geography literature to explore possibilities and praxis in research endeavoring to illuminate uneven power relations and the moral orders that frame them. According to Ahmed, a feminist killjoy is one who exposes sexism, heterosexism, and racism, only to be criticized for disrupting happiness and social consent. Drawing on fieldwork on urban politics and development, I explore the implications—both promise and peril—of adopting feminist killjoy research subjectivities, emphasizing the important role of affect. I suggest that when feminist researchers direct killjoy research not just at mainstream institutions but also at progressive endeavors, they risk being construed as double killjoys who disrupt supposed joy and solidarity within progressive politics. The objective of this work is to explore sexual and reproductive rights representations and practices of women, the different obstacles that are present in public health spaces, and the existence of gaps within the legal frame and institutional answers. It is of specific consideration the access to tubal sterilization, sexual violence care, prevention of Sexual Transmited Diseases (STD) and HIV, emergency hormonal contraceptive and not penalized abortion. We also include aspects such as the possible legalization of abortion and the information provided about sexuality and reproductive health, about the benefits and risks of medicine, technology and medical treatment. Using a an exploratory descriptive design and qualitative methodology, different interviewing techniques were conducted in depth with patients from a health center and from a Public Hospital especializated in maternal and child health, in the south of City of Buenos Aires. Congruences or not treaties and judicial corpus are interpreted in light of epidemiological findings, health gaps and narratives of social actors.

Despite growing Colombian studies on the relationship between gender and language, little is renowned for the phenomenon of single-sex schooling. As an English teacher, I not only witnessed the implications of such naive schooling but also observed how contemporary media urged (re)considering and spreading sex-segregated education to improve academic performance. Yet, learners’ embodied experiences and local struggles for power in the community of practice contended local micro-practices of resistance in the institutional interstices. Thus, this study problematizes compulsory heterosexuality beneath the sex/gender learning differences discourse by relying on critical and post-structuralist feminist theory. That issue has inspired an interpretive-qualitative study that attempts to analyze discourses of learners, to identify enactments of subjectivities about its gendered nature in a sex-segregated learning environment at a private school in Bogotá. The purpose of this qualitative research was twofold. First, it aimed at analyzing the EFL learner's (re)configuration of gendered subjectivities in the frame of a sex-segregated schooling setting. Similarly, this study sought to unveil the social actors involved in the linguistic constructions of the heteronormative discourse of sex-gender differences. Accordingly, by queering tenets from Feminist Post-structural Discourse Analysis (Baxter, 2003) and Critical Discourse Analysis (Fairclough, 2001), it was considered to examine a corpus devised of significant moments of interactions. In this vein, via Conversational Analysis and Speech Acts theory (Searle, 2001), audio-recorded classroom interaction and its transcripts. Consequently, data analysis was inductively performed resulting in one emerging theme: performing a gendered subjectivity a polyhedral ongoing struggle. The results shed light on how the gendered subjectivities of learners are deemed as complex and polyhedral. Implications, therefore, allow teacher-researchers in educational settings to study asymmetric sociolinguistic power relationships. Since, there is a need to focus on extending research on gender and English teaching and learning, as language is not the academic goal, but the means of mediating socio-cultural meanings.

This research is based on the need to recognize and make visible some experiences of transmasculine subjectivities in the social sphere in order to generate contributions about life experiences and highlight the need to guarantee a dignified existence of a population that has been affected by silent and hidden violence. For this purpose, the research opts for the socio-hermeneutical method applied to autobiographical narratives of five transgender men to find in the analysis of their process of subjectivation some paths to make visible new constitutions and experiences in gender, as well as some needs that must be mitigated from social, educational and public policy settings. Above it was developed with postulates of authors like Preciado, Butler and Pedraza, who approach body and subjectivity as a possibility to find new ways of constitution of the self and the ethical and political endeavors that this demands.

Adolescentes y jóvencitas bogotanas This work is part of current social analyzes that inquire about the role that wardrobe has played in our society as a founding element in the definition and classification of our behavior patterns, which are strongly amplified by the gender issue. With this framework of analysis, the question that I am interested in investigating is what did it mean for the young women and adolescents of Bogotá to constitute ourselves as women towards the end of the 20th century from the available clothing? Hence the importance of developing an archeology that - from daily life - allows us to analyze the implications of costumes in the manufacture of subjectivities as that catwalk of disputes that constantly and unfinished designs, declines, weaves and reconfects female subjectivities; as an embodied practice that defines the body as the trace of the flight, as well as the fold where the prevailing ideological order is reincorporated which, from the iteration, normalizes social practices (Foucault, 1989; Butler, 2002; Pedraza, 2007) . The main objective that I intend is to propose how the costumes and their paraphernalia played a fundamental role in shaping female subjectivities in Bogotá at the end of the 20th century. Tracing the investigation from that objective invites us to inquire about what our motivations are when choosing a specific outfit, as well as exhorts us to ask ourselves about the relationship that this fact has with the fashion system from different approaches social science theorists. However, it also pushes us to question these limits from the perspective of cultural studies, making the wardrobe visible as a political issue that becomes a factor in struggles, enabling the agency condition of the corporalities while putting into play the desire, the power and resistance in the configuration of subjectivities. Neles conversamos, rimos, compartilhamos angústias, alegrias e sonhos. This research had as proposal to think the following question: How the subjectivities of three Roma women have been constituted in a Roma community in the city of Juiz de Fora - MG? I used approximations with the post-structuralist and Foucaultian theoreticalmethodological perspectives, in addition to the contributions of Gender Studies to think about the experiences and processes of subjectification of these women. My attention turned to their narratives, in order to value their meanings and senses. I sought to problematize discourses and relations of knowledge-power involved in the process of constitution of these gypsies, taking into account gender issues and their relationship with education. Here, gender is understood as something under construction, showing that the differences perceived between men and women are social, historical and cultural. Education is understood in its broadest scope, as a process of constitution of the subjects. I agree that every relationship space is constituted as a pedagogical space, therefore, I consider it potent to problematize how Roma women are constituted in the middle of the educational processes present in the Roma community. Even if the relations of these Roma women are permeated by the internal social norms of Roma culture and are also affected by gender hierarchies, this does not mean a homogeneous imprisonment to a given discourse. My research set out to think Roma women beyond the domination / subordination dichotomy, as they are also resistances. Together with the three gypsies, I held fourteen meetings. We talked, laughed, shared anxieties, joys and dreams. These moments were enriched by the literacy work that I had the opportunity to develop together with these women within the gypsy camp. More than learning to read and write, these meetings have enhanced moments of discussion, reflection, respect for differences. In the process, we reframe our experiences and transform ourselves. This research gave visibility to the subjectivities that are constituted in different and singular ways. Contrary to crystallizing Roma women in fixed and stable identities, this work has invested in an understanding in which these identities are the result of cultural, social and historical processes and are constituted from discourses and relations of knowledge and power. Unlike other generations of gypsy women, the three gypsies are subjected to new discourses, artifacts and pedagogical devices. Although we share similar gender experiences, each of us experiences this experience of ―being a woman‖ in a specific and unique way.

Through this research, I attempt to understand the construction of the career of pornographic film actresses in Brazil, analyzing the constitution of the multiple subjects that emerge in their narratives. Making use of Oral History as a methodological tool, for the development of this research, I carried out five interviews with women who recognize and present themselves as porn actresses. In addition, I analyzed materials published by them on their social networks (Instagram and Twitter), given the fact that I understand these materials as self-writings, carefully composed and through which autobiographical narratives are constructed. From a Foucauldian perspective, through which subjects constitute themselves through their discourse at the center of power relations, spoken words are enough; thus, in this perspective, I concentrated my readings and analyses of such narratives. By overlapping their stories, I was able to understand the meaning that the profession inputs to the construction of their identities, considering the issues involving discussions about gender and sexuality, and thus, to deconstruct myths and social judgment.

This research aims to investigate how the relations between knowledge and power erupt in relation to the theme of gender and feminism in the constitution of teaching subjectivities in the school context. According to Butler (2003), gender is a culturally demarcated social concept, which historicizes the body; for the author, there is no gender / gender dichotomy, since both are discursively elaborated and engendered by powers, not purely pre-discursive, natural facts. We describe and analyze these subjects' statements on gender issues in a feminist perspective, in order to study their discursive effects on the possibilities of (trans) formation of educational practices that converge to a more pluralistic and less segregatory approach. The central perspective of the investigation is based on the conception that the society is established from microrelations of domination consolidated by the knowledge that cross the subjects, through the institutional spaces. In this sense, we examine how teachers act, according to the enunciative production conditions of contemporaneity. The methodological path is based on the analysis of the French Speech Discourse, especially in the epistemological contribution of Foucault (1979, 1987, 1999a, 1999b, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016), Machado (1998, 2013), Eizeirik (2006), Butler (2003), Saffioti (1992), Louro (1997), Moreno (1999), Tiburi (2018), McLaren (2016) for investigation of the corpus gathered through semi-structured interviews. The results pointed out that, in the statements produced in a particular discursive circumstance, the perception of other senses is admitted, since the effects of meaning escape the control of the enunciators. We note that subjectivation practices can’t be mechanized or understood from a single point of view. Although knowledge is legitimated by powers and constituted by the authority of the educational sphere, such practices can’t be uniformly evaluated. It is possible to observe a tendency towards the stability and homogeneity of social values, under the focus of the knowledge established by the Eurocentric colonial knowledge, resulting from the institution of a normalizing convention. However, there is a positivity for feminism, which constitutes another system of enunciability, which problematizes the socially associated roles of man and woman in a binary and asymmetric way. We conclude that the school, through its enunciative practices, beacon enunciatives places and subjectpositions and, therefore, reproduces given normalizations. However, we must consider that this same space can be a locus with the scope of promoting citizenship conducive to the discussion of the constitutive focuses of feminism and its demands transformation.

This document inquires the way in which, eleventh and tenth grade young people from the Luis Carlos Galan highschool in Soacha, reconfigure their political subjectivities from gender problematizacion as a political category and the media as reconfigurators elements of the subjectivities and subjective deployment scenarios. So, this investigative exercise looked for to strengthen a Media Center of scholar communication as a directed proposal to the young people in which they speak with their own voices being actors inside the reconfiguration process of their political subjectivities.

Mujeres, Hombres, Poder.

This paper proposes a psycho-sociological approach to the configuration of human bonds. Bonds are discussed in its most latent, less obvious and explicit, in order to reveal those emotional and representational elements that tend to be expressed in a rather obvious. The empirical material of the research has been the set of jokes told in different “focus groups”, formed from social homogeneity criteria. We analyzed the associative chains developed in group dynamics. We find that the jokes being universal social phenomenon, the "dormant accounts" arising from the analysis of each discus-sion group, have shown significant differences between them, being expressive loop model of each social context. It also confirms the phenomenon of the joke as a valuable tool for social research.

Thinking about the discursive construction of the subject and its relationship with self, pleasures and discoveries, I propose the question: what processes of subjectivity, gender relations and sexuality are present in physical education classes, maintaining a dialogue between teacher education and practice in schools through the discipline of Supervised BSc. I bring the inspiration for Michel Foucault as a tool to question and discuss the knowledge of me approaching post-structuralist perspective in which the discourses are understood as social and historical construction. My interest is the knowledge about the conditions graduating teacher in a process stage in the construction of subject is involved in the learning experienced in social and historical trajectory. I discuss issues of gender and sexuality to the formation of a physical education teacher and actions in schools. I point elements to think about the teaching knowledge pluralized, discussing teacher development, both personal and professional. For data collection the survey observations were made, and daily field reports as foci of research both in lessons of discipline Internship practices as schools, concerned with what is built in the discourses of school and on the banks of the university to the issues gender and sexuality. In this sense, a point highlighted was the investment in contextualizing and questions in the process of training, the trainees who took the known places where the training stage is associated with certainties. The research aims to contribute to the reflective path of education in order to increase the sense of subjectivities, gender and sexuality in teacher education and its relationships with schools.
