Bencana merupakan kejadian baik yang bersifat alam atau non alam tanpa bisa diprediksi terlebih dahulu. Dampak bencana alam dapat berupa kerusakan lingkungan secara meyeluruh yang menimbulkan kematian manusia secara masal. Dengan demikian dibutuhkan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana. Indonesia merupakan salah satu Negara rawan bencana. Kelompok usia yang rentan dengan masalah tersebut adalah bayi dan balita. Penanggulangan bencana terkhusus pada kelompok usia tersebut seperti program PMBA. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gizi kelompok usia bayi dan balita di desa Ciherang sehingga dapat mencegah masalah gizi karena bencana dan dapat menangani masalah gizi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian adalah demonstrasikan PMBA kepada masyarakat dan juga penyuluhan PMBA ditempat bencana. Hasil yang dicapai yakni edukasi PMBA berjalan dengan lancar sehingga pelayanan makan pada kelompok bayi dan balita terlaksana dengan baik pada fase satu kedaruratan. The purpose of this activity is to meet the nutritional needs of the infant and toddler age group in Ciherang village so that they can prevent nutritional problems due to disasters and can deal with nutritional problems. The method used in community service activities is demonstrating feeding children to the community and also counseling feeding children at the disaster site. The results achieved were feeding children education that ran smoothly so that food services for infants and toddlers were carried out well in the first phase of the emergency. Shrimp cultivation is a very profitable business in Gresik. However, shrimp farmers in Mojopuro Gede Village, Gresik admitted that they did not optimize their cultivation process. The farmer did not realize that water quality is essential to be considered in aquaculture. Based on these problems, the team held a community service in Mojopuro Gede Village, Gresik by introducing the water quality meter module and giving it to several shrimp farmers in the area. This activity was carried out so that the farmers can improve their cultivation process which has not been optimal and also introduce them to technological developments. Technology use in cultivation is expected to increase the quality of the farmers' crops. The implementation methods used in this activity are socialization and training. In this community service program, education has been given to the farmers so that they understand and care about the condition of their ponds in the cultivation process. The purpose of this program is for introducing the importance of technology in the cultivation process, even though it is actually not easy to provide education to shrimp farmers, especially traditional farmers. Therefore, related parties (NU Gresik Maritime Institute and Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office of East Java Province) are expected to be more active in providing understanding to the farmers regarding the importance of applying technology in the cultivation process.

Pendahuluan: Lansia adalah seseorang yang telah mencapai usia lebih dari 60 tahun yang dimana sudah mengalami penuaan. Lansia secara fisiologis terjadi kemunduran fungsi-fungsi dalam tubuh yang menyebabkan lansia rentan terkena gangguan kesehatan. Beberapa hal yang diduga menjadi penyebabnya salah satunya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan tentang manfaat aktivitas fisik. Aktivitas fisik sendiri merupakan gerakan tubuh yang menghasilkan energi atau latihan yang telah diatur sebelumnya, disengaja, dan berulang. Tujuan dilakukannya telaah ini untuk mengetahui intervensi yang efektif dengan melakukan aktivitas fisik pada lansia dengan demensia. Metode: Metode dalam penulisan artikel ini melalui pendekatan sederhana. penulusuran database artikel menggunakan google scholar, di dapatkan 10 artikel. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan dengan aktivitas fisik dapat meningkatkan fungsi kognitif pada lansia demensia. Kesimpulan: Adanya pengaruh dari aktivitas fisik atau kegiatan latihan kognitif yang merangsang otak dengan menyediakan stimulasi yang memadai untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan fungsi kognitif.

Dari data statistik PPID BAZNAS RI tentang pengumpulan zakat mal dan infak/sedekah mulai tahun 2015 hingga 2019 relatif meningkat setiap tahunnya. Masjid menjadi kepercayaan masyarakat Indonesia dalam penyaluran zakat dan infak pada kenyataannya banyak yang kesulitan dalam melaporkan data zakat dan infak serta penyalurannya karena keterbatasan pengetahuan akuntansi dan pembukuan serta belum menggunakan aplikasi kas Masjid dalam sistem pengelolaan kas Masjid setempat. Selain itu terdapat kasus penyelewengan dana kas masjid dan human error dalam pencatatan pengelolaan kas Masjid mengakibatkan pelaporan kas Masjid menjadi rancu dan kurang dapat dipercaya masyarakat. Pemilihan metode pengembangan software sangat penting dalam manajemen proyek sistem informasi untuk tujuan efisiensi kerja. Metode RAD digunakan dalam pengembangan software skala kecil dan jangka pendek. Metode RAD dipilih sebagai metode pengembangan software untuk pengembangan aplikasi kas Masjid. Mosques have become the trust of the Indonesian people in distributing zakat and infaq, but many have difficulty in reporting zakat and infaq data and their distribution due to limited knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping and have not used the mosque cash application in managing local mosque cash funds . In addition, there are cases of misappropriation of mosque cash funds and human errors in recording mosque cash management so that mosque cash reporting becomes ambiguous and less trusted by the public. The selection of software development methods is very important in information systems project management for the purpose of work efficiency. The RAD method is used in small-scale and short-term software development. The RAD method was chosen as a software development method for developing mosque cash applications. The results of the study are in the form of a mosque cash management application with the name e-Fin Mosque Z, as well as evidence of the use of RAD which is indeed suitable for use in developing the e-Fin Mosque Z application.Keywords: rapid application development, RAD, management information system, mosque cash

Provinsi Gorontalo khususnya di Desa Ombulo Kecamatan Limboto Barat menjadi salah satu desa yang memiliki potensi unggulan di bidang usaha perdagangan khususnya usaha kuliner. Sebagian besar masyarakat di desa tersebut berprofesi sebagai pedagang kuliner seperti pedagang nasi jaha dan sate sapi, dodol, milu siram, nasi ayam iloni, brekedel jagung, kue karawo, dan keriping pisang. Kuliner ini dijual di pasar tradisional setiap hari, dengan penghasilan yang menguntungkan bagi mereka, namun semenjak pandemi Covid 19, mereka mengalihkan dagangan mereka di depan rumah masing-masing karena edaran pemerintah untuk menutup pasar sementara waktu. Dampak Covid 19 ini berakibat pada penurunan pendapatan masyarakat sejak berjualan di bahu jalan tepat yang bertepatan di depan rumah mereka. Dengan menjual dagangan di depan rumah, pendapatan mereka berkurang yang hanya cukup memenuhi kebutuhan hidup mereka, dibandingkan pendapatan mereka saat berjualan di pasar tradisional. Sebagian mereka juga belum memasarkan produk kuliner ini secara online karena keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang teknologi. Tujuan pelaksanaan program adalah meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat melalui optimalisasi usaha kuliner berbasis kearifan lokal dan technopreneurship. Metode pelaksanaan program Wira Desa dilaksanakan secara luring mengingat Desa Ombulo termasuk zona hijau dan belum ada masyarakat Ombulo yang terkena dampak Covid 19. Adapun teknik pelaksanaan melalui Sosialisasi Program, Workshop Manajemen Pengelolaan Usaha Kuliner Berbasis Kearifan Lokal dan Technopreneurship, Pelatihan Pemasaran melalui Penggunaan Website dan Media Sosial, pendampingan pengemasan dan pemasaran usaha kuliner, serta program aksi berupa penataan lokasi usaha. Hasil Pelaksanaan Program yang telah dilaksanakan adalah 1) Sosialisasi mengenai program Wira Desa, 2) Workshop Pengemasan dan Pemasaran Produk Kearifan Lokal, 3) Pelatihan pemasaran usaha melalui Website dan Media Sosial, 4) Pendampingan Pengemasan dan Pemasaran melalui Website dan Media Sosial, 5) Rintisan Usaha Baru, 6) Penataan lokasi usaha sehingga terlihat lebih menarik bagi pengunjung, 7) Terbentuknya brand desa Dodol dan Nasi Jaha serta adanya rintisan Desa Ombulo menjadi Kampung Wisata Kuliner di Kecamatan Limboto Barat.

The purpose of the study was to examine the implementation of the Tahfidz Qur'an program in developing Islamic character in Masyithoh Sukodadi Kindergarten (TK) Paiton Probolinggo. This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects were teachers, principals and students at Masyithoh Kindergarten. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses the Constant Comparative Analysis model with three processes, namely open coding, axial coding and selective coding. The results of the field research obtained findings of the implementation of the Tahfidz Qur'an program in developing Islamic character in Masyithoh Kindergarten (TK) namely the preparation, planning, and implementation of the program. Tidak meratanya distribusi pendapatan menyebabkan bertambahnya masyarakat yang hidup dibawah garis kemiskinan. Ditengah problematika ekonomi tersebut zakat hadir sebagai salah satu instrumen pengentas kemiskinan umat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dari faktor pengetahuan, religiusitas, trust, dan pendapatan manakah yang paling mempengaruhi minat muzaki membayar zakat. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian lapangan metode kuantitatif, dengan populasi masyarakat Kabupaten Trenggalek beragama Islam dan memperoleh sampel sebanyak 57 orang. Analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda, uji parsial, uji simultan dan uji koefisien determinasi dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS 26 for Windows. Hasil uji parsial dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor pengetahuan dan religiusitas tidak mempengaruhi minat muzaki membayar zakat, namun faktor trust dan pendapatan zakat positif berpengaruh signifikan. Sedangkan pengujian secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa faktor pengetahuan, religiusitas, trust, dan pendapatan berpengaruh terhadap minat muzaki membayar zakat. Saran kepada peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menambah jumlah sampel dan juga variabel baru seperti sosialisasi ataupun variabel moderasi seperti faktor usia, karena menurut hasil penelitian ini, pengetahuan, pendapatan religiusitas dan kepercayaan hanya mampu menjelaskan setengah dari seluruh faktor yang mempengaruhi minat muzaki untuk membayar zakat.

In the learning process, the teacher talk is critical because it can help the success of the learning process, especially in mastering English as a foreign language (EFL) at various levels of education. EFL learners need to adapt when they enter the classroom. This narrative review aims to determine the form of teacher talk and its importance to EFL learners at different educational levels. This study uses secondary data from 13 (thirteen) journal articles, which are research results on English teacher talk from various levels of education and settings and published between 2010-2020. The articles were accessed through several databases available to the researchers. All data were synthesized based on two research questions. The results of this study were the discovery of 4 categories of teacher talk forms based on (1) speech modification to facilitate learners, (2) the teacher's role as a facilitator, (3) responses to learners, and (4) their attitude in the classroom. Teacher talk is important because it can provide correct language input to learners and help them develop and improve their ability to speak English. By knowing these results, this narrative review can provide new insights to EFL teachers at all levels of education regarding the forms of teacher talk that they can use and how the talks can help the learning process and outcomes.

This study aims to find out the parents’ involvement on their children’s’ educational attainment in mathematics from the teachers’ perspective in particular. The qualitative approach was actively employed. Besides, a sample of experienced teachers and educators was taken. The sample consists of 13 male and female teachers with whom the notion of parents’ involvement was discussed, challenges of parents’ involvement, to what extent it might be effective, the purpose of parents’ involvement and how parents could be helpful to the academic staff throughout the educational process, and the impact of such involvement on the value system. In accordance with the research results; all teachers were in favour of parents’ involvement. Parents’ involvement, according to the interviewed teachers, is vital for the success of the educational process. Some teachers, however, viewed parents’ involvement as a threat to the school staff, i.e. they prefer a controlled level of involvement that does not preach the teacher’s own work space and freedom. Some teachers expressed the problem with parents’ involvement in the fact that some parents lack the necessary level of awareness. Based on the research findings; I recommend a broader parents’ involvement. The prior is in favour of children’s educational attainment. Besides, specialized courses for parents should be seriously considered in order to raise their awareness. In the Negev region, for instance, parents’ involvement is extremely limited due to polygamy, work burden and other social problems.

Fish farming with adaptive cages is an alternative for developing fishery business activities in coastal areas. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential for developing adaptive fish cages farming as a form of adaptation to the impact of tidal flooding and climate change. This research was conducted in Bandengan Village, Pekalongan City from July to August 2022. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with purposive sampling and then a SWOT analysis was carried out. The results showed that the water quality parameters at the aquaculture location were still feasible and suitable for fish farming activities. Then, for harvest productivity indicators, it was still quite appropriate and profitable for this operational business cycle. Furthermore, from the analysis of internal business factors identification, 6 elements of strength and 4 elements of weakness affected the operation of fish farming. Meanwhile, from the identification of external business factors, there were 5 elements of opportunity and 2 elements of threats that could affect the operational aquaculture cycle. From the results of SWOT matrix analysis, by comparing the elements of business opportunities, weaknesses, strengths, and threats, a comparison point was obtained between 2.04 and 1.38, or it was in first quadrant in SWOT matrix, meaning good strength to be developed further. In conclusion, fish farming activities with the concept of adaptive cages were very feasible and profitable to be developed in coastal areas that are vulnerable to tidal flooding and climate change effects.Key words: Coastal, Climate change, Development, Fish aquaculture, SWOT

Lesson planning and presentation are regarded as an effective method that allows pre-service teachers to gain experience in the instructional processes and improve teaching skills. Lesson Portfolio and Presentations, not only is utilized as a method for increasing the quality of a teacher’s education, but also used to research the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework. The purpose was to investigate changes in pre-service teachers’ TPACK from their lesson portfolio and presentation practices conducted under the TPACK framework. The participants are 22 third-year pre-service teachers. An analysis was performed based on specific concepts from the projects, which had been developed to reveal the changes in pre-service teachers’ TPACK components. Content analysis was used to analyze the observation forms, self-evaluations, videos and interviews. The study’s findings indicate that pre-service teachers use GeoGebra tools to attain what they had specified in their instructional plans. When considered in terms of the TPACK components, pre-service teachers made noticeable progress.

Grain corn in nature possesses a tendency to absorb and release moisture even during storage. Grain respiration will lead to fungal growth, consequently mycotoxin development and decreased nutritional components. Storage in tropical weather like Malaysia, in which the temperature is constantly hot throughout the year (temperature 23–33°C, with relative humidity around 81%) will promote further spoilage to the stored grain corn. Therefore, this paper discussed the properties of grain corn during three months of storage in a Malaysian weather setting. Grain corn with the initial moisture content of 12.5± 0.02% MC bagged in the; a) woven polypropylene jumbo bags, b) woven propylene 40 kg bag and c) plastic sealed container was stored in two different storage facilities located in MARDI for three months. The grain corn after three months of storage showed a consistent water activity, a darkening value in Chroma index, within the permissible limit of fungal growth and exhibits insect pest development of two major species of Coleoptera family. Grain corn is considered safe after three months of storage because low aflatoxin levels have been found, but the physical structure has been compromised due to insect pest infestations.

Background Postoperative pulmonary complications (PPCs) often occur after cardiac operations and are a leading cause of morbidity, inhibit oxygenation, and increase hospital length of stay and mortality. Although clinical evidence for PPCs prevention is often unclear and crucial, measures occur to reduce PPCs. One device usually used for this reason is incentive spirometry (IS). The aim of the study is to evaluate the effect of preoperative incentive spirometry to prevent postoperative pulmonary complications, improve postoperative oxygenation, and decrease hospital stay following coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery patients. Methods This was a clinical randomized prospective study. A total of 80 patients were selected as candidates for CABG at An-Najah National University Hospital, Nablus-Palestine. Patients had been randomly assigned into two groups: incentive spirometry group (IS), SI performed before surgery (study group) and control group, preoperative spirometry was not performed. The 40 patients in each group received the same protocol of anesthesia and ventilation in the operating room. Result The study findings showed a significant difference between the IS and control groups in the incidence of postoperative atelectasis. There were 8 patients (20.0%) in IS group and 17 patients (42.5%) in the control group (p = 0.03). Mechanical ventilation duration was significantly less in IS group. The median was four hours versus six hours in the control group (p p p Conclusion Preoperative incentive spirometry for two days along with the exercise of deep breathing, encouraged coughing, and early ambulation following CABG are in connection with prevention and decreased incidence of atelectasis, hospital stay, mechanical ventilation duration and improved postoperative oxygenation with better pain control. The outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) not only affected health and economics, but also its effect extended to include other aspects, such as the environment. Using Egypt as a case study, this paper presents the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on air pollution levels by studying nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3), particulate matter represented in absorbing aerosol index (AAI), carbon monoxide (CO), and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The paper also highlights the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on other environmental indicators including environmental noise, medical and municipal solid wastes. The paper presents the Egyptian COVID-19 story from its different angles including the development of confirmed COVID-19 cases, containment measures from the government, the impact on the country’s economy and the national energy consumption so as to effectively evaluate the effect on both the air pollution levels and the other studied environmental indicators. For the other environmental indicators, a strong link was observed between COVID-19 lockdown and the reduction in environmental noise, beaches, surface and groundwater pollution. For environmental noise, this has been confirmed by officially governmental announcements which reported that the level of environmental noise in Egypt was reduced by about 75% during the lockdown period. On the other hand, there are some negative effects, including an increase in medical solid waste (from 70 to 300 ton/day), municipal solid waste, as well as a less efficient solid waste recycling process. For air pollution levels, the data were obtained from National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and European Space Agency satellite data sets. The data for the lockdown period in 2020 have been extracted and compared to the corresponding months in the selected baseline period (2015-2019) to identify the effect that the lockdown period had on the air pollution levels in Egypt with focus on Cairo and Alexandria governorates. It was found that the AAI decreased by about 30%, the NO2 decreased by 15 and 33% over Cairo and Alexandria governorates, respectively, and that the CO decreased by about 5% over both governorates. In addition, the GHG emissions in Egypt were reduced by at least 4% during the pandemic. In contrast, ozone levels increased by about 2% over Cairo and Alexandria governorates. It can be concluded that the implemented containment measures during COVID-19 pandemic had resulted in both positive and negative environmental impacts. The positive environmental impacts are not sustainable and deterioration on them is expected to occur after the lockdown as it was before the pandemic. Introduction Complications following Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) are rare and usually follows a vigorous CPR or in special cases like pregnancy are due to lack of knowledge and clinical practice of how to preform CPR in pregnancy. One of this complication is diaphragmatic rupture with herniation of abdominal organs. Surgical intervention needs to be planned carefully in multidisciplinary team approach and requires fine surgical techniques for better outcome. There are few reported cases of diaphragmatic rupture after Cardiopulmonary resuscitation but none in pregnant woman. Case presentation We report a rare case of diaphragmatic rupture in a 29-year-old pregnant patient who experienced a full-blown diaphragmatic defect and herniation of the abdominal organs into the thoracic cavity, as a complication of CPR. Following careful assessment and diagnosis, the patient underwent urgent laparotomy with reduction of the contents and primary closure of the defect. One year follow up was satisfactory. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first reported case of diaphragmatic rupture with herniation of the abdominal organs following CPR in a pregnant woman in the literature. Conclusion The application of external cardiac massage through CPR is a life-saving procedure for the management of cardiac arrest. Common complications related to CPR include rib fractures, sternal fractures and haemothorax. Diaphragmatic rupture with herniation of the abdominal organs is a rare complication, having been reported only once in the literature (Sabzi F, Faraji R, Tanaffos 16:170–172, 2017); however, it represents a serious and life-threating event. Thus, careful evaluation of the patient by a multidisciplinary team and prompt intervention is recommended in order to improve outcomes.

This study aims to determine the implementation of the policy of an integrative child social welfare center in Jombang Regency. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method using George Charles Edward's theory of policy implementation, which consists of several variables that affect the success of a policy implementation, including communication, resource sources, disposition, and the structure of the brokerage. The result that Dieh found in this research is that the implementation is less than optimal. In the aspect of communication, socialization has not been carried out to the community and the communication that has been carried out has not been optimally carried out to internal implementers. In the aspect of resources, it was found that there was a lack of staff resources. In the aspect of disposition, it was found that the understanding of implementers regarding policies was not the same. And in the aspect of the bureaucratic structure, it was found that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has not been resolved as a policy implementation guideline.

Background Idiopathic pulmonary artery aneurysm is a rare anomaly with only a handful reports in the literature. It is often asymptomatic, while the first presentation could be severe hemoptysis or death. Surgical intervention needs to be planned carefully with a multidisciplinary team approach to secure optimal outcome. We hope to spread our experience with such cases and to encourage other surgeons worldwide to deal surgically with these cases when its indicated. Case presentation A 47 years old man presented to our institution after three episodes of hemoptysis, echo demonstrated good left ventricle (LV) systolic function, normal right ventricle (RV) size and function, Chest computed tomography (CT) revealed aneurysmal dilatation with pending rupture of the pulmonary artery trunk (4.5 cm), the left pulmonary artery (6 cm) and the right pulmonary artery (2.3 cm). The patient successfully underwent replacement of Pulmonary artery trunk, left pulmonary artery and right pulmonary artery by Wovex Prosthetic graft (28 mm). The patient discharged home on the eight postoperative day in good clinical condition . Conclusion With this case report we wish to emphasize the need for a careful multidisciplinary approach given the complex and rare nature of the reported pathology. This is the first time the concept of total quality management in burn injuries is proposed. This is a prospective study done in 1997-2003. All burn admissions to King Fahd Hospital of the University, Division of Plastic Surgery, were included. Total number of cases is 240. Male patients constituted 141 (59.2%); female patients, 97 (40.8%), and 2 cases were not specified in forms. There were 114 children (0-18 years, 50.2%) and 113 adults (19-99 years, 49.8%). The source of admission was mainly emergency room (197, 82%) followed by outpatient department (27, 11.3%), and other hospitals in 16 (6.7%). The type of burn was mainly scald (16.3%), then flame (6.98%), electrical (6.5%), chemical (2.8%), friction (0.47%), and not specified in 33% of recorded cases. The most encountered body percentage burn was 1% to 10% and 11% to 20% in 36.7% and 25.9% of cases, respectively. Sixty-six cases (28.2%) were operated on. The reason for nonoperation was not indicated in 78.5% and refusal in 1.8%. The most frequent operation was split-thickness skin grafting followed by tangential excision + split-thickness skin grafting. Operations took mostly about 2 hours (53.8%). The region operated on was mainly upper limbs (42.6%), then head and neck (27.7%). The affected body part in electrical burns was upper limb, then the head. Preoperative photography was done in 17% and post operatively in 9.4% of recorded cases. Consultations were needed in 39.4% and responded to in 48 hours in 98.2% of them. Discharge was home in 80.9%, against medical advice in 7.5%, died in 7%, transferred in 4%, and other ward in 0.5%. No significant difference was observed between pediatric age groups and adults (>18 years old), also for electrical versus nonelectrical burns in relation to total hospital stay. Similar observations were made among various age groups with respect to total hospital stay. The clinicopathologic typing relation to age groups, nationality, and sex was found significant. We present a series of 40 cases who underwent reconstructive procedures using rectus abdominis myocutaneous units. The transplanted tissue comprised superior pedicle (26 cases), inferior pedicle (11 cases), and as free muscle flap (3 cases). The application fell into three groups i.e.; 1. breast and chest wall reconstruction; 2. groin, genital, and trochanteric area; and 3. leg and heel ulcer. The results show that surgical dissection of flaps is relatively easy and has a wide range of applications that can be used for different surgical reconstructive problems. Surgical dissection has a low incidence of complication for flap viability as well as for donor site.
