Currently, the science and subject of sports pedagogy, which studies the pedagogical activity of the trainer in the field of physical education, is spreading widely as a relatively young special knowledge. In its emergence and rapid development, the interest and contribution of scientists from Germany, Switzerland, the USA, Japan, Sweden, and Russia were great. This article describes the role and importance of sports pedagogy in the process of personality formation and the process of development as a science.

Due to their potential benefits, cold atmospheric plasmas (CAPs), as biotechnological tools, have been used for various purposes, especially in medical and agricultural applications. The main effect of CAP is associated with reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS). In order to deliver these RONS to the target, direct or indirect treatment approaches have been employed. The indirect method is put into practice via plasma-activated water (PAW). Despite many studies being available in the field, the permeation mechanisms of RONS into water at the molecular level still remain elusive. Here, we performed molecular dynamics simulations to study the permeation of RONS from vacuum into the water interface and bulk. The calculated free energy profiles unravel the most favourable accumulation positions of RONS. Our results, therefore, provide fundamental insights into PAW and RONS chemistry to increase the efficiency of PAW in biological applications.

The functioning of voltage-dependent K channels (Kv) may correlate with the physiological state of brain in organisms, including the sleep in Drosophila. Apparently, all major types of K currents are expressed in CNS of this model organism. These are the Shab—Kv2, Shaker—Kv1, Shal—Kv4, and Shaw—Kv3 ɑ subunits and can be deciphered by patch-clamp technique. Although it is plausible that some of these channels may play a prevailing role in sleep or wakefulness, several of recent data are not conclusive. It needs to be defined that indeed the frequency of action potentials in large ventral lateral pacemaker neurons is either higher or lower during the morning or night because of an increased Kv3 and Kv4 currents, respectively. The outcomes of dynamic-clamp approach in combination with electrophysiology in insects are unreliable in contrast to those in mammalian neurons. Since the addition of virtual Kv conductance during any Zeitgeber time should not significantly alter the resting membrane potential. This review explains the Drosophila sleep behavior based on neural activity with respect to K current-driven action potential rate.

Whether or not the hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated nonselective cation channel (HCN or funny current I(f)) is involved in pacemaking – recurrent heartbeat, it is attributed to electrical activities in all excitable cells, including those of invertebrates. In latter group of animals prevailingly the electrical signals and function of heart in terms of chrono- and inotropy are elucidated. Although in simpler models including insects experimental outcomes are reproducible and robust, involvement of “cardiac clock” mechanism in pacemaking is not conclusive. In this assay, the mechanisms of heartbeat are synthesized by focused comparisons between insect and mammalian hearts.

This article highlights the combined use of solar and hydropower based on a rational combination of traditional and renewable energy sources for powering agriculture and water management. At the same time, a combined integrated power supply system was formed. Provided, the energy is required from renewable sources, it fully provides the consumer, and the excess energy is transferred to the centralized network (N″), if the energy received from the network is less than the energy entering the network, the recommended system is efficient (N′″).

The control scheme for the operation of a solar circuit pump with a bypass and photovoltaic batteries during the period of solar insolation is considered. At the same time, optimal modes of functioning are provided by thermal processes in the heat supply system. This article discusses the new in Uzbekistan heat recovery technology is leaving the flue gas from boilers. This is achieved by condensation of water vapor therein. An analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of contact heat recovery and surface types. The analysis of the heat transfer coefficients in the condensing heat exchanger surface. The temperature regimes which provide point of the flue gas dew point. The limited stresses in the chimney of the boiler unit are calculated using condensing heat utilizers of the exhaust gas for stations of Uzbekistan.

This article considers the main methods of regulating water consumption and power of micro hydroelectric power plants. New technical solutions for screw jet turbines adapted to low pressures and water flow rates are proposed. The Archimede’s screw turbine is a cost-effective and environmentally friendly microhydropower technology that operates at high efficiency at low pressure and medium flow rates. In this case, the change in power depends on the following parameters: the number of blades, water flow, the angle of inclination of the blades and the height of the pressure. Preliminary calculations carried out by the authors show that the power of a microhydroelectric power station depends on individual factors of the area. With an increase in the speed of the water flow, the speed of the water wheel also increases, and in turn, the electric power of the microhydroelectric power station increases.

In the Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan, the influence of atmospheric precipitation on changes in the degree of salinity and chemical composition of the upper 30 cm soil layer was studied. Experiment options: 1 - loosening the soil to a depth of 70 cm, 2 - loosening, followed by soil treatment with preparation containing polymaleic acid. A decrease in the degree of soil salinity by 7 - 8 dS/m has been established with the help of only 302 mm of precipitation, without water wasted for leaching. The decrease in soil salinity was: according to EU, 56% - in option 2, and 52% - in option 1. According to TDS, the salinity reduction was: - 61 and 52%, according to SO “4. - 58 and 47%. The content of calcium in the variant with the use of Biosolvent decreased by 48%, and in the control variant, it increased by 15%. It has been estimated that with a decrease in salinity from 16 to 8 dS/m, a possible increase in the yield of a salt-tolerant barley crop by 1.6 t/ha is possible. Taking into account the costs of loosening and tillage with the preparation, the net income of the farmer can be $480/ha.

The paper reviews the results of an assessment of the analysis of anthropometric indicators of the physical development of adolescents aged 15–18 years in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. It is established that the clinical examination of students should necessarily include anthropometric survey methods, focused on the assessment of physical development. To this end, taking into account anthropometric indicators, it is necessary to develop standards for physical development, taking into account regional, ethnic and social characteristics of the population.

In this article: the theorem has been proven for existence and uniqueness of the generalized solution of elastoplastic boundary problem based on the theory of plastic yielding of transversal isotropic bodies from the loading surface in the deformation and stress space.

It has been proved in the world and our country’s agriculture that the levelling of arable lands helps the land to improve the reclamation of lands and reduce the amount of water for irrigation. According to agro-technical requirements, the height of irregularities on the surface of the fields should not exceed ± 5 cm. Experiments and research show that crop yields decreased by 1.5-1.7 times and irrigation water consumption increased by 1.7-3.4 times when the surface roughness of the fields was ± 10-13 cm. According to the research carried out by E. B. Velichko and B. B. Shumakova, in areas where the height of irregularities reached ± 3 cm, the yield increased by 1.5 times compared to ± 5 cm, and irrigation water decreased by 1.6 times. In areas with such unevenness of ± 2 cm, the yield increased by an additional 19.9 c / ha (47%), the consumption of irrigation water for the production of 1 ton of rice decreased by 36% or 1621 m3 of the economy was achieved.

By choosing the initial dimensions of flat solar collectors, and by measuring the temperature of the incoming and outgoing air from the collector, it is possible to determine the linear dimensions of the drying cabinet attached to the collector. It is also possible to establish the basic semi-empirical formulas for determining the thermal characteristics of solar dryers. This calculation method was applied to design and build a study of an indirect solar dryer with natural air convection for drying apricots.

Deep metric learning aims to learn a deep embedding that can capture the semantic similarity of data points. Given the availability of massive training samples, deep metric learning is known to suffer from slow convergence due to a large fraction of trivial samples. Therefore, most existing methods generally resort to sample mining strategies for selecting nontrivial samples to accelerate convergence and improve performance. In this work, we identify two critical limitations of the sample mining methods, and provide solutions for both of them. First, previous mining methods assign one binary score to each sample, i.e., dropping or keeping it, so they only selects a subset of relevant samples in a mini-batch. Therefore, we propose a novel sample mining method, called Online Soft Mining (OSM), which assigns one continuous score to each sample to make use of all samples in the mini-batch. OSM learns extended manifolds that preserve useful intraclass variances by focusing on more similar positives. Second, the existing methods are easily influenced by outliers as they are generally included in the mined subset. To address this, we introduce Class-Aware Attention (CAA) that assigns little attention to abnormal data samples. Furthermore, by combining OSM and CAA, we propose a novel weighted contrastive loss to learn discriminative embeddings. Background Aortic annulus rupture is a rare, but potentially fatal complication of transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), especially when it occurs by balloon-expandable devices. In order to improve the predictability of procedures and avoid ruptures we investigated whether or not the aortic root volume measures is a useful indicator of risk, and if it could be useful for the prosthesis size selection. Methods and Results From a retrospective series of 172 TAVR patients, seven experienced contained aortic annulus ruptures. The receiver operating curves were used to illustrate sensitivity and specificity of the different aortic annulus size and aortic root volume measures. The annulus area oversizing of ≥20% resulted in a sensitivity of 100%, specificity of 55.76%, and positive predictive value (PPV) of 8.75%. The main goal of the present study was to determine the effect of the native vegetation on the successive development of the soil ecosystem at abandoned coal-ash landfills of the Angren coal-fired power plant in Uzbekistan. Two different landfills (one not in use for 3 years, termed newer, and the other not in use for 10 years, termed older) with different degrees of vegetation cover were chosen to assess the time and vegetation effects on soil biota and habitat development. The soil biotic structure, including soil microorganisms and soil free-living nematode communities, was investigated both at open plots and under different native plants at the coal-ash landfill area. The observed soil microorganisms were found to be the most important component of the observed ecosystems. Total abundance, biomass, species, trophic and sexual diversity of soil free-living nematodes, along with fungi and organic-matter content, were found to be correlated with trace metals. The nematode trophic and species abundance and diversity increased from the newer toward the older coal-ash landfills. The sex ratio of the nematode communities was found to be dependent on the environmental conditions of the study area, with the males being the most sensitive nematode group. All applied ecological indices confirmed that open landfill plots distant from plants are the most unfavorable areas for soil biota. In that respect, the native plants Alhagi maurorum Desv. and Tamarix sp. were found to be important environmental components for the natural remediation of a soil ecosystem in the coal-ash landfill area.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to make performance improvements and timely critical execution enhancements for operational flight program (OFP). The OFP is core software of autonomous control system of small unmanned helicopter.Design/methodology/approachIn order to meet the time constraints and enhance control application performance, two major improvements were done at real‐time operating system (RTOS) kernel. They are thread scheduling algorithm and lock‐free thread message communication mechanism. Both of them have a direct relationship with system efficiency and indirect relationship with helicopter control application execution stability through improved deadline keeping characteristics.FindingsIn this paper, the suitability of earliest deadline first (EDF) scheduling algorithm and non‐blocking buffer (NBB) mechanism are illustrated with experimental and practical applications. Results of this work show that EDF contributes around 15 per cent finer‐timely execution and NBB enhances kernel's responsiveness around 35 per cent with respect to the number of thread context switch and CPU utilization. These apply for OFP implemented over embedded configurable operating system (eCos) RTOS on x86 architecture‐based board.Practical implicationsThis paper illustrates an applicability of deadline‐based real‐time scheduling algorithm and lock‐free kernel communication mechanism for performance enhancement and timely critical execution of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle control system.Originality/valueThis paper illustrates a novel approach to extend RTOS kernel modules based on unmanned aerial vehicle control application execution scenario. Lock‐free thread communication mechanism is implemented, and tested for applicability at RTOS. Relationship between UAV physical and computation modules are clearly illustrated via an appropriate unified modelling language (UML) collaboration and state diagrams. As experimental tests are conducted not only for a particular application, but also for various producer/consumer scenarios, these adequately demonstrate the applicability of extended kernel modules for general use.

Treatment of HeLa S3 cells growing in suspension, and of endothelial cells ECV 304 growing as a monolayer, with the inhibitor of the Ca(2+)-calmodulin activated Kinase II KN-93, blocks cells at metaphase for 15 min (HeLa cells) and 30 min (ECV cells). Thereafter cells resume mitosis and enter anaphase. The inactive isomer KN-92 does not show such effects. The results show the involvement of the CaM K II system in the regulation of the metaphase-anaphase transition whereby the activation of the Kinase II, in particular by calmodulin appears to be affected, the residual autophosphorylation of the CaM K II system apparently sufficing after 15 to 30 min to release the cells into anaphase. The results are compared with the metaphase-blocking effects of the noble gas xenon, where the xenon-induced block can be overcome by small intracellular increases of Ca(2+), thus indicating the CaM K II system as a possible target for xenon.
