Fostering Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) innovation is a significant conversation at the international level. Meanwhile, public institutions play a crucial role in the science of public administration in the context of SDGs, particularly universities, which are important in producing innovation based on these goals. However, to produce innovation, it is necessary to map scientific papers within the relevant knowledge domains. By using the bibliometric review method, 74 papers were identified. This study showed that there were still relatively few scientific papers that supported fostering SDGs in Higher Education, both in terms of quality and quantity. This was particularly true for discussion on achieving SDGs 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8,10, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 as well as scientific papers based on multidisciplinary science.

The increasing need for fossil energy does not equal the availability of alternative energy sources as a substitute generating new problems. In addition to decreasing availability, fossil energy harms the environment by producing dangerous gases from combustion such as carbon dioxide, sulfur, and nitrogen. These factors increasingly encourage researchers to create renewable energy sources with the same performance but are environmentally friendly. Biodiesel or Methyl Ester commonly called Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) is a renewable alternative energy produced from various raw materials such as animal, vegetable, or other oils. In this study, the methyl ester made from waste cooking oil was processed through two stages of esterification and transesterification using the addition of methanol with different catalysts, H2SO4 and NaOH relying on the reaction step. The research aimed to determine the optimal results from variations in the concentration of the acid catalyst used. From FTIR characterization found that functional groups indicating the formation of methyl esters have been identified at wave numbers 1800-1700 cm-1 with functional groups of -C=O ester the presence of FAME. Meanwhile, to determine the optimum methyl ester caloric value using Bomb Calorimetry according to ASTM D6751 standard. The caloric value was obtained at 9,572.58 Cal/g with catalyst 0,5% H2SO4. The methyl ester content was identified using GC-MS, and the results obtained for ME1, ME2, and ME3 are 74.90%, 77.15%, and 71.98%, respectively. From this study, it can be found that the methyl ester can be produced with esterification-transesterification reactions simultaneously.

Sedimentation upstream of a weir is a common phenomenon, especially for a river with high sedimentation. In the long term, this can lead to problems since the discharge capacity will decrease due to the rise of the riverbed, as experienced in Bekasi Weir, West Java, Indonesia. The upstream accumulated sediments increased up to 1.5 m from its original riverbed in a decade. One of the easiest ways to overcome this issue is to return the riverbed elevation to its actual elevation by manual excavation or sediment flushing using a sluice gate. This paper discusses the effects of operating three sluice gates of the Bekasi Weir for flushing the deposited sediments. The analysis was carried out through 1D modeling using MIKE-11 software to analyze the morphological effects after flushing the sediments with variations of sluice gate opening scenarios. Finally, it was found that without any manual excavation, the flushing method with one fully-opened gate was the best solution by giving a significant upstream bed degradation of up to 1 m, reducing the upstream flood level, and maintaining the upstream-downstream freeboard. The solution could be more effective when combined with river normalization.

One of the concerns in the development routing protocol in Mobile Ad Hoc Network is energy consumption which is very influential on package delivery. Energy Delay Aware Ad hoc Demand on Distance Vector (EA-AODV) is one of the routing protocols for the development of Ad hoc Demand on Vector (AODV) that considers energy when receiving packets stored in the routing table. The routing protocol applies the Dijkstra algorithm to determine the shortest route by considering the sequence number and hop count. In the development carried out on EA-AODV is a modification of the Dijkstra algorithm by adding a gaussian prediction method in consideration of the energy level that is expected to be more efficient in terms of energy consumption. Gaussian prediction method was executed in receive request (RREQ) when the packet saved in the routing table. The Application of the network protocol was conducted by comparing the performance of AODV with EA-AODV. The consumption energy of EA-AODV is more efficient at 12.07% compared to AODV.

Indonesia, whose 453 TCF potential coal bed methane (CBM) reserves, rank the 6th largest CBM reserves around the world. However, the technical limitation is amongst the major issues slowing down the exploitation progress of the resources which current national CBM production only reach up to 1 MMSCFD. This paper provides a newly enhanced coal bed methane (ECBM) recovery method to improve the methane production. Scenarios of nitrogen (N2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) injection were used in this study to perform 25 years production simulation and compared with CBM primary production. Created hypothetical model based on the characteristic of coal seams CBM field in South Sumatra, Indonesia, was used to analyze the increasing methane production by using N2 and CO2 injection with different compositions and rates. The result observed about 3,52% incremental methane production by injecting N2 into CBM reservoir. In other words, this new method has an impact on enhancing the CBM national production, particularly South Sumatra CBM field, which could be useful for further CBM development in Indonesia. Mixture injection seemed to be unfavorable for the field due to the difference of gas mechanism. Thus

Many problems often occur in producing natural gas from well. Due to the existence of water content in natural gas or water drive mechanism, liquid (especially water) is also produced from gas well, following natural gas production. When gas critical rate is higher than gas production rate due to reservoir pressure decline, it will cause liquid accumulation in the bottom of well, avoiding natural gas to be well lifted from well bottom to surface. It is liquid loading. Chemical injection of 0.4 liquid that consists of ethoxy sulphate, alkane sulphonate, and petroleum sulphonate is effective to overcome liquid loading in natural gas well thus causing an increase in natural gas production by 57%.
