The family is a social construct whose structure and functions undergo transformations based on the political, social, economic context, and geographical location. It constitutes the natural and fundamental unit of society and, as such, is entitled to protection from both society and the State. The contemporary notion of family differs significantly from that of previous centuries. The phenomenon of globalization, characterized by the continuous flow of knowledge, customs, ideologies, and policies across all domains, prompts reflection on the evolving concept of family and its diverse forms, necessitating corresponding adjustments in its protection. This study aims to identify the factors influencing family protection and the repercussions resulting from legal loopholes. Leveraging the neutrosophic TOPSIS method, the findings recommend the development and implementation of a family code. This study primarily aimed to analyze the pluralization of the term "family" within the Venezuelan legal context, focusing on social and legal changes since the 1970s. The importance of this analysis lies in its ability to explore the evolution of the concept of family, paralleling transformations in public institutions and during the Venezuelan diaspora. Employing a document exploration methodology within the qualitative paradigm, the study identified several significant findings, including the theoretical categorization of the family as beneficial to society, its constitutional definition as the fundamental cell in 1961, the diversification of this term in the 1999 Constitution, and the recognition of bilocal and neolocal families in the current context. The conclusion highlights that reconciling practice with constitutional mandate is a key challenge given the complexity of existing family dynamics and their need for adequate protection, thus underscoring the intrinsic value of the family within society. This paper addresses the notion of scandal and how scandal developed in real life from the perspective of the family. It explores the link between scandal and family conflict. Widows are taken as a reference of this particular realm of conflict. The paper considers cases in which they are at the origin of the conflict or they are involved in it, and analyses their behaviour, their agency, and their relationships in order to understand how scandals broke into the public arena, as well as their final stages, which coincided with material and symbolic ruptures in the family. In order to carry out this study, we have mainly used sources that illuminate widows both confronting situations of material rupture or family abandonment in the face of the scandal, as well as enduring symbolic rupture and litigation within the family. The work underlines how scandal was linked to conflict within families, whether patrimonial, economic or affective. This case report is based on a deinstitutionalization experience that took place at a CAPS I, in the Rio de Janeiro state countryside. It describes the work carried out by the CAPS team with a subject diagnosed with a serious mental disorder and his family. The rescue of subjectivity and the process of social reintegration, after years of living in psychiatric hospitals, emerge as priorities. The study reflects on the challenges of the process of returning to society and the role of substitute services, in conjunction with the role of the family and the mental health team during the transition from the asylum to the community. Several of the school affairs, along with those in other areas, of minors are altered by the parents’ work environment, limiting the possibilities of attention, especially in the case of schoolwork, normally carried out at home. This descriptive-inferential, transversal and quantitative research has the objective of identifying, from parental perception, the influence of the work situation on the follow-up of school tasks. There is a sample of 1,787 Spanish families with sons and daughters in early childhood, primary and secondary education who have participated by completing an ad hoc questionnaire from which descriptive and inferential data were extracted through the Kruskal-Wallis parameter and Cohen’s d. The results indicate significant differences in the difficulty of schoolwork in both genders, father and mother, in favor of those who are full-time; the improvement of family relationships as a benefit, academic inability as an obstacle and an increase in positive effects after the pandemic stand out as aspects most identified by parents who are unemployed. This study is part of a broader research on inclusive education developed in the Historical Territory of Biscay. In this case, the focus is on the reality of pupils with hearing impairment in the infant and primary stages, specifically, we wanted to find out from the families and associations that work with them, what is the concept of educational inclusion that they handle, and where are the elements that may be hindering and supporting it. To do this, we have based ourselves on qualitative research in which, through instruments such as interviews, questionnaires and focus groups, we have been able to reiterate some of the contributions reflected in previous research. The study carried out with these families leads us to conclude that, among other aspects, there is still a significant distortion between the principles promulgated by educational policies and real inclusion; together with some elements that hinder inclusion, we also found others that are operating as facilitators, such as adequate training and awareness-raising of educational agents or effective communication and collaboration between the school and the family. The aim of this article is to evaluate the acquisition of habits in children from 2 to 6 years of age during the COVID-19 confinement in Chile. The study reflects the intention of recognizing the importance of the family as a social structure for the acquisition of habits that need to be developed in school contexts. The study is based on an evaluation model with a quantitative approach, using a sequential analysis for its interpretation, through an intervention with 24 nursery school teachers who answered an instrument with 6 key indicators: order, hygiene, clothing, food, rest, and coexistence. The results reveal the capacity of children to practice and develop habits and routines based on order according to their stage of growth, and confirm the significant role of the family in children's learning, before, during, and after the pandemic. Migraine is a prevalent disorder imposing a great, pervasive burden on the bearer's life. However, research is lacking on the individual and family impact of migraines. This study aims to adapt and validate a Portuguese version of the Impact of Migraine on Partners and Adolescent Children (IMPAC) scale, analyzing its psychometric properties. Four hundred eighty six individuals with migraines answered an online questionnaire, also containing a health-related quality of life measure -- SF-12. The IMPAC-P presented good psychometric properties and fit of the theoretical model with three underlying factors -- Activity Limitations, Partner Interaction, and Children Interaction. The impact of migraines was higher in women, single or widowed individuals, and those aged 21 to 40, exhibiting a significant and negative correlation with SF-12. The IMPAC-P is a brief, valid, reliable, and sensitive tool for assessing the impact of migraines on the bearer's life and family in both clinical and research contexts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The family plays a fundamental role in the development of personal and social skills considered as a precedent for processes and responses to emerging situations, in this context, parenting practice presents models of education that can be applied within the home; on the other hand, resilience is defined as that capacity that moderates negative affect in difficult situations, promoting adaptation. The main objective of the study was to determine the relationship between parenting styles and resilience in indigenous adolescents between 12 and 17 years of age, for which a sample of 113 students was used. The research had a quantitative approach, using the "Steinberg Parenting Styles Scale" adapted by Merino 2004 and the "Wagnild and Young Resilience Scale" adapted by Novella 2002. In addition, it had a non-experimental descriptive correlational crosssectional design. The results obtained determined the existence of a slight positive correlation between the dimensions commitment and equanimity, commitment and perseverance, commitment and the total resilience score. This study aimed to explore and analyze the narratives about the past, present, and future of people with a family member deprived of liberty. Five women from Buenos Aires were interviewed regarding the matter, and the Thematic Analysis Method (Mieles Barrera et al., 2012) was used to categorize, analyze, describe, and interpret the speech. Those with an incarcerated family member have perceived various changes regarding their relationship with the inmate, the relationship with the justice/police, perception of family support, stigma/discrimination, dynamic family, and expectations/feelings. The departure of a family member on the grounds of incarceration requires a readjustment and rearrangement by their relatives. Analyzing the changes perceived by the family when having a member deprived of liberty provides a greater understanding of the subjective meaning of imprisonment for family members. The research covered several dimensions related to the transformations in daily and school life, produced by the measures of isolation and preventive and compulsory social distancing. In this paper, we will focus on those repercussions linked to the subjective from the perspective of adults when they talk about their children. In this sense, we share interpretations from a virtual survey carried out by 1280 families from different parts of the national territory, administered in the middle of 2021. At the same time, descriptive references to schooling in households are offered and relationships are articulated to work on the psychosocial effects that the emergency measures imposed, modifying family, school, social, and labour daily life. The qualitative analysis of the open-ended responses is made from a sociopsychogenetic perspective, allowing articulation of subjective, social, and cognitive aspects interpreted from a historical and relational perspective. Gender violence is a phenomenon that is reproduced in several areas, one of which is the family system. The objective of the research was to analyze the reproduction of gender violence in the family system by comparing variables between the urban and rural population, year 2023. It had a quantitative approach of a cross-sectional type, descriptiveexplanatory scope, a questionnaire was applied on patterns of reproduction of gender violence to 140 fathers / mothers of family and the scale of attitudes towards gender violence to 153 teenagers. It was found that attitudes towards gender violence in the adolescent population is neutral on the subject. It was evidenced that there are minimal differences in the urban and rural context; being the stereotyped roles, the mandates of domesticity and maintaining the image of the ideal family the most subtle forms of reproduction of violence. Families can be a risk or protective factor, depending on the stages and crises they are going through. In the face of the crisis of deprivation of liberty, it plays a fundamental role for their social reintegration. The objective of this work is to describe the perception of the family bond and functionality presented by women in middle adulthood, who are serving their sentences in the Deprivation of Liberty Center, CPL-Azuay No 1., period 2023. The study had a quantitative approach, type of non-experimental design and descriptive scope; We worked with a population of 65 women. A sociodemographic record, a questionnaire to identify family ties and the FF-SIL were used to determine the perception of family functioning. As results, it was obtained that functional families predominate; most are married, serving sentences for carrying controlled substances and murder; They report not having coexistence and family support is only economic. Objective: To interpret the narratives derived from the experiences of the use of free and leisure time in families of the Colombo-British School. Methodology: The research approach was qualitative. The participants were parents, teachers and directors of the institution. Results: Free time, leisure and education are interdependent and generate creativity environments based on experiences of pleasure. Free and leisure time in families is related to care and health. This produces feelings of attachment and socio-familial bonding. Conclusion: Free and leisure time are two concepts linked and integrated. The former is broader and contains the latter. Free time is the time people have available, in which they do not carry out work activities, educational responsibilities or domestic chores. Leisure time is the time focused on creating, having fun building something for one's own pleasure or to enjoy an activity that generates pleasure. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this study, we focused on blended families, which are a family type that is becoming increasingly widespread. The scarcity of current information on this type of family justifies scientific interest, but also means that there is a lack of appropriate social policies that address this phenomenon. Thematic analysis was used as the research tool. A total of 12 semi-structured interviews were conducted with members of blended families. Based on these interviews, three themes were developed: “What influences the decision to start a new family?”, “Challenges to the family configuration: normalisation strategies” and “New ways of understanding family ties”. The results suggest that these families are still built around the basic pillar of heteronormativity. Thus, further research is needed on this new family model, while pressing for more legal norms that are aligned with the new family realities. The purpose of this article is to highlight Pope Francis' concern and pastoral sensitivity in the face of the difficulties of many faithful to live the marriage ideal of the Gospel and how his merciful gaze towards those who live in so-called "irregular" situations led him to decree and establish a reform of the marriage nullity process, to make it simpler and more accessible. The analysis of the criteria, which guided the work of the reform, showed that all meet this pastoral concern. A joint reading of Amoris Laetitia and MIDI was carried out, because the two documents, dealing with the theme of the family and its difficulties, had at their origin the same pastoral concern and complement each other. This article explores the way in which social class differences participate in the interactions that teachers and students establish in the classroom. Qualitative research was carried out through in-depth interviews with a group of teachers from public and private institutions in the city of Cali. Specifically, we examined the way in which this group of teachers interprets their class position, that of their students, and the tensions that these differentiated positions entail for the development of educational work. The study identified three tensions: first, the challenge of conceiving the School as a social mobility device in stratification regimes that, like the Colombian one, present restricted mobility; second, the challenge of nurturing enthusiasm for educational work in contexts where students are credited with low aspirational capital; Lastly, the effects that the class origin of the students has on the status and content of the teaching work. By way of conclusion, it is notable that for the teachers interviewed, the School is presented as an institution incapable of reversing the system of distribution of expectations that social classes establish. The objective of the research that motivated the writing of this article was to identify the levels of effectiveness of experiences and conflicts affecting the dynamics of affective integration and emotional balance in families that are part of the National Army of Colombia. Methodologically, it is a mixed research, with a descriptive and cross-sectional study in its quantitative phase, and a phenomenological study in its qualitative phase. Families from one of the brigades of the National Army of Colombia were interviewed. The study reveals that the highest porcentage of family functionality is at an intermediate level (47 %), with 38 % at the high level and 14 % at the low level. In the qualitative phase, categories such as "physical and emotional absence on the part of the military," "military work as the sole priority," and "woman's adaptation to the military context" emerged. It can be concluded that women who decide to start a family with a man belonging to the Armed Forces must undergo a process of adaptation to the context, including the approval of the dynamics of the military environment, the prescriptions, and determinisms of convergent military thinking. Need to be wise to speak of wisdom. The book of Job, as part of the wisdom biblical literature, is full of wisdom dialogues. Occurs between God and Satan, four friends and Job, and also to a lesser extent, between Job and his wife. Despite being the smallest of the book dialogue and one of the smallest of the scriptures, it comes down to a short sentence, is full of wisdom, or lack thereof. Job's wife was very wronged throughout history, not by prayer uttered, but the verb used to build his speech: curses. It is a sign of wisdom, even in patriarchal times, have someone curse God. But is that she advised with tremendous lack of wisdom? Interpreters and translators are virtually unanimous in agreeing with this statement.
