Abstract

The article discusses the role of ergonomics in litigation and outlines cases from the point of view of either the plaintiff or the defense expert. The first case involved a 2-year-old boy who sustained chemical burns following the alleged opening of a container of fluids. The second case involved a 50-year-old male who has an alleged work-related back injury while the third case concerned with whether safety belts could be used in a log-flume water ride.
