This article discusses the features of the noise immunity of short-pulse ultra-wideband (UWB) radio systems in indoor operation (INDOOR). Such a mode of operation of UWB radio systems has pronounced features that are associated with multipath propagation of a signal inside a room. The principles of modeling the UWB radio communication channel indoors are considered, the results of the influence of the environment on the UWB signal are given, an analytical expression is obtained for calculating the error probability of the UWB radio system when operating indoors with multipath propagation.
