In this paper, we introduce a generalization of the Dunkl derivative with two parameters to study the Schrödinger equation in Cartesian and polar coordinates in two dimensions. The eigenfunctions and the energy spectrum for the harmonic oscillator and the Coulomb problem are derived in an analytical way and it is shown that our results are properly reduced to those previously reported for the Dunkl derivative with a single parameter. We introduce the Dunkl–Klein–Gordon (DKG) equation in 2D by changing the standard partial derivatives by the Dunkl derivatives in the standard Klein–Gordon (KG) equation. We show that the generalization with Dunkl derivative of the z-component of the angular momentum is what allows the separation of variables of the DKG equation. Then, we compute the energy spectrum and eigenfunctions of the DKG equations for the 2D Coulomb potential and the Klein–Gordon oscillator analytically and from an su(1, 1) algebraic point of view. In this paper, we study the (2 + 1)-dimensional Klein–Gordon oscillator coupled to an external magnetic field, in which we change the standard partial derivatives for the Dunkl derivatives. We find the energy spectrum (Landau levels) in an algebraic way, by introducing three operators that close the su(1, 1) Lie algebra and from the theory of unitary representations. Also, we find the energy spectrum and the eigenfunctions analytically, and we show that both solutions are consistent. Finally, we demonstrate that when the magnetic field vanishes or when the parameters of the Dunkl derivatives are set to zero, our results are adequately reduced to those reported in the literature. In this work we introduce two different generalizations of the Fokker–Planck equation in (1+1) dimensions by replacing the spatial derivatives in terms of generalized Dunkl-type derivatives involving reflection operators. We extend the (1 + 1)-dimensional Dirac–Moshinsky oscillator by changing the standard derivative by the Dunkl derivative. We demonstrate in a general way that for the Dirac–Dunkl oscillator be parity invariant, one of the spinor component must be even, and the other spinor component must be odd, and vice versa. We decouple the differential equations for each of the spinor component and introduce an appropriate su(1, 1) algebraic realization for the cases when one of these functions is even and the other function is odd. The eigenfunctions and the energy spectrum are obtained by using the su(1, 1) irreducible representation theory. Finally, by setting the Dunkl parameter to vanish, we show that our results reduce to those of the standard Dirac-Moshinsky oscillator. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We study the Tavis-Cummings model with three modes of oscillation by using four different algebraic methods: the Bogoliubov transformation, the normal-mode operators, and the tilting transformation of the SU(1, 1) and SU(2) groups. The algebraic method based on the Bogoliubov transformation and the normal-mode operators lets us obtain the energy spectrum and eigenfunctions of a particular case of the Tavis-Cummings model, while with the tilting transformation we are able to solve the most general case of this Hamiltonian. We decouple the Dirac's radial equations in D + 1 dimensions with Coulomb-type scalar and vector potentials through appropriate transformations. We study each of these uncoupled second-order equations in an algebraic way by using an su ( 1 , 1 ) algebra realization. Based on the theory of irreducible representations, we find the energy spectrum and the radial eigenfunctions. We construct the Perelomov coherent states for the Sturmian basis, which is the basis for the unitary irreducible representation of the su ( 1 , 1 ) Lie algebra. We construct the Perelomov number coherent states for an arbitrary su(1, 1) group operation and study some of their properties. We introduce three operators which act on Perelomov number coherent states and close the su(1, 1) Lie algebra. By using the tilting transformation we apply our results to obtain the energy spectrum and eigenfunctions of the non-degenerate parametric amplifier.
