YÖK Tez No: 578493 Bu araştırmanın amacı, özel eğitim gereksinimi olan çocukların ebeveynlerinin evlilik uyumları, umutsuzluk ve algılanan sosyal destek düzeylerinin çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelenmesidir. Araştırma, İstanbul ilinin Kartal, Üsküdar ve Ataşehir İlçeleri'nde yaşayan 142 anne ve 108 baba olmak üzere toplam 250 kişi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama araçları olarak Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu, Evlilik Uyumu Ölçeği, Beck-Umutsuzluk Ölçeği ve Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Pearson Çarpım Momentler Katsayısı, Bağımsız Gruplar t Testi ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, evlilik uyumu ile algılanan sosyal destek arasında negatif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu, evlilik uyumu ile umutsuzluk düzeyi arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı, algılanan sosyal destek ile umutsuzluk düzeyi arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Bulgular ilgili literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır. In this research, marital adjustment, hopelessness, and perceived social support levels of parents of children with special education needs were examined according to some variables. Within the scope of the survey, the survey application was made to a total of 250 people including 142 mothers and 108 fathers living in Kartal, Üsküdar and Ataşehir districts of İstanbul province. The Marital Adjustment Scale, Beck-Hopelessness Scale, Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale and Personal Information Form were used as data collection tools. When comparing all the data obtained, the t -test was used to analyze the differences in the two groups, and the Variance Analysis method was applied when the parameters were compared between groups in case of more than two groups. Pearson correlations were used to test the dependent and independent variables in the study. As a result of the research, there was a negative meaningful relationship between perceived social support and marital adjustment, there wasn't meaningful relationship between hopelesness and marital adjustment, and there was a positive meaningful relationship between perceived social support and marital adjustment. The findings are discussed in the light of relevant literature.
