Bu araştırmanın amacı, "Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretmenlerine Yönelik Laboratuvar Uygulamaları" programının, öğretmenlerin laboratuvar kullanımına yönelik özyeterlik inançlarına olan etkisinin araştırılmasıdır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, programa katılan 60 fen bilimleri öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada değişkenler arasındaki neden-sonuç ilişkisini belirlemek amacıyla yarı deneysel araştırma modellerinden, tek grup öntest-sontest modeli izlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin laboratuvar kullanımına yönelik özyeterlik inançlarını incelemek için "Laboratuvar Kullanımı Öz-Yeterlik Algı Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda öğretmenlerin özyeterlik inançlarına ilişkin öntest ve sontest puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunan fark, laboratuvar uygulamaları programının öğretmenlerin özyeterlik inançlarını arttırarak katkı sağladığını ortaya koymuştur. Araştırma sonucunda, laboratuvar uygulamalarına yönelik eğitimlerin teorik bilgi sunumundan çıkarılıp uygulamalı eğitimler şeklinde planlanması önerilmiştir., The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of laboratory applications program on science teachers' self efficacy beliefs regarding to use of laboratory. The participants of the study composed of 60 science teachers. The quasi-experimental method was conducted in the study. In order to examine teachers' self-efficacy beliefs regarding to use of laboratory "Laboratory Selfefficacy Scale" was used. The results of the analysis indicated that the difference between teachers' pretest and posttest scores was statistically significant. This finding revealed that the laboratory applications program has increased teachers' self-efficacy beliefs. In line with the results of the study, it can be suggested that the instructions about laboratory applications should be designed as applied practices instead of theoretical presentations

The present study aims to investigate the attitude of the primary school secondary level studentstowards computers depending on the frequency of computer use. In this context, based on the computer usagefrequency of the students, pre-test and post-test attitude scores are evaluated in relation to gender, class, age, andincome level. The study was carried out in 2006-2007 academic year, based on the experimental design with pretest,post-test and control group. As a sample group of the study, 270 students attending Nazım Akcan PrimarySchool in Altındağ district of Ankara were involved under 6 groups (one control group and one experimentalgroup from each of the 6th, 7th and 8th classes). Experimental groups utilized computer laboratory available in theschool 30 hours more than the control groups during lunch breaks throughout the academic year. For datacollection, “Computer Attitude Scale” developed by Ekici and Bahçeci (2006) were used. Descriptive statistics,t-test and One-Way Variance Analysis were used for data evaluation. The Cronbach alpha reliability coefficientof the scale was found to be α=.75. At the end of the study, depending on the frequency of the computer usage,the attitude scores of the sixth and seventh class students towards computer have been significantly increased.Moreover, pre-test and post-test attitude scores of the students did not significantly vary with gender, age, andincome level., Bu çalışmada, ilköğretim II. kademe öğrencilerinin bilgisayar kullanma sıklığına bağlı olarak bilgisayara yönelik tutumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda öğrencilerin bilgisayar kullanma sıklığına bağlı olarak öntest ve sontest tutum puanları cinsiyet, sınıf, yaş ve gelir düzeyi değişkenlerine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma 2006–2007 eğitim-öğretim yılında, öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu deneysel desene dayalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Çalışmaya Ankara İli Altındağ İlçesinde yer alan Nazım Akcan İlköğretim Okulu’nda öğrenim gören 270 öğrenci 6 grup altında (6, 7 ve 8. sınıflardan birer kontrol ve birer deney grubu) katılmıştır. Deney grupları bir öğretim yılı boyunca 30 saat, kontrol gruplarından farklı olarak öğle araları okuldaki bilgisayar laboratuvarlarından faydalanmıştır. Çalışmada Ekici ve Bahçeci (2006) tarafından geliştirilen “Bilgisayara Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde betimsel istatistikler, t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Ölçeğin Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı α=.75 bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonunda, bilgisayar kullanma sıklığına bağlı olarak 6. ve 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin bilgisayara yönelik tutum puanları anlamlı düzeyde artmış, ancak, öğrencilerin öntest ve sontest tutum puanları arasında cinsiyete, yaşa ve gelir düzeyine göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık tespit edilmemiştir

The purpose of the study is to investigate the effects of an applied environmental education project carried out using the green-class model on students' environmental knowledge and its retention. 101 7th grade students attending Nazim Akcan Primary School in the Altindag Province of Ankara participated in the study. The study was carried out in the form of pre-test post-test monitoring design. The Environmental Knowledge Test was used as a data collection instrument. For the analysis of the data, a two-way ANOVA for mixed measures was used. The post-test and monitoring test means of both the experimental groups were found to be significantly higher than the control group. As a conclusion, the green-class model considerably enhanced the environmental knowledge of the students and its retention. It was able to make a great contribution to the environmental knowledge of the students residing in a low socio-economic neighbourhood. This project is an original study and can be implemented with different samplings. © 2009 HKIEd APFSLT.

In the study, "Achievement Test" was used in line with pretest-posttest design to collect data. The control group consists of 72 sixth grade students and the experimental group consists of 121 sixth grade students, totally 193 students make up the study group. In the analysis of the data, Two-Way ANOVA for Mixed Measures test was employed.
