İlköğretim birinci sınıf öğrencilerinin kalem tutma biçimleri, kavrama ve sıkıştırma kuvvetlerinin yazma hızı ve hatalarına etkisini test etmeyi amaçlayan bu çalışma tarama modelinde betimsel bir çalışmadır. Araştırma Kütahya il merkezinde bulunan ilköğretim okullarının birinci sınıf öğrencileriyle (n=412) yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre öğrencilerin tercih ettikleri kalem tutma şeklinin baş, işaret ve orta parmakla desteklenen tutuş şekli olduğu, yazma hata puanı ile kavrama ve sıkıştırma kuvveti arasında düşük negatif düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğu bulunmuştur. Bunun yanı sıra yazma hızı ile kavrama kuvveti arasında düşük pozitif düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğu söylenebilir., This is a survey model descriptive study which aims at testing the impact of the way the first grade students in primary school hold the pencil, grip the pencil and the compressive strength on the writing speeds and mistakes. 4-6 Yaş Grubu Çocukların Sosyal Beceri Eğitimine İlişkin Öğretmen Görüşleri. Bu çalışmada 4-6 yaş grubu çocukların sosyal beceri eğitimine ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma grubunu, 2013-2014 eğitim-öğretim döneminde İzmir ili Menemen ilçesinde bulunan Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı, 56 tanesi üst, 27 tanesi orta 22 tanesi de alt, sosyo-ekonomik düzeyde bulunan bağımsız anaokulları ve ilkokulların anasınıflarında görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmuştur. Veriler standartlaştırılmış açık uçlu görüşme formu aracılığı ile, yüz yüze görüşme tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Görüşmeye 21 öğretmen katılmış, veriler sözlü ve yazılı olarak kaydedilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde, nitel analiz tekniklerinden içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi sonucunda edinilen bulgular incelendiğinde; öğretmenlerin sosyal becerileri iletişim becerileri, arkadaşlık becerileri, akademik beceriler, duygularını yönetme becerileri olarak tanımladıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin, okul öncesi eğitimde iletişim, liderlik, sorumluluk, empati, paylaşma ve hoşgörü gibi sosyal becerilerin kazandırılması gerektiği düşüncesinde oldukları ortaya çıkmıştır. Öğretmenlere göre sosyal becerilerin sosyal yönleri kadar bireysel yönlerinin de olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çocukların sosyal beceri kazanmalarını etkileyen faktörlerin bireysel, çevresel ve akademik boyutlarının olduğu saptanmıştır. Okul öncesi eğitim programında yer alan sosyal duygusal gelişim alanında bulunan kazanımların, sosyal beceri kavramları açısından eksikliklerinin olduğu; programda bu kavramlara doğrudan yer verilmesinin, öğretmeni planlarında daha sık kullanmaya teşvik edeceği görüşündedirler. Öğrencilerinin sosyal beceri kazanımlarını gözlem yoluyla, değerlendirme etkinlikleri kullanarak, günlük ve aylık plan değerlendirmesi yaparak, soru-cevap yöntemiyle, değerlendirme panosu kullanarak değerlendirdikleri sonucuna varılmıştır. Öğretmenler çocuklara, 'problem çözme, uyum sağlama, iletişim, kendini ve duygularını ifade edebilme, kurallara uyma, katılım, liderlik, empati, özgüven, diğer kültürleri tanıma, sorumluluk, farklılıklara saygı gösterme, kendini kontrol etme, sıra bekleme, hakka riayet etme, paylaşma, nezaket kuralları' sosyal becerilerini kazandırırken zorlandıkları tespit edilmiştir. The view's of teachers about social-skills-training of children in the 4-6 age group.Focus of this study is to explore the teacher view's about children's social-skills-training in 4-6 age group. The sample includes the teachers who are working in independent preschools and preschools section of primary schools governed by the Turkish Department of Education. The data for this research came from 56 students in high socio-economic level, 22 students in low socio-economic level and 27 students in middle socio-economic level from Menemen district of Izmir in the 2013-2014 academic year. The data is collected by face-to-face interviews and by standardized, open-ended interview form developed by the researcher. 21 teachers participated in interviews. The researcher used content analysis methods for the analysis of the data.According to the results teachers categorize the social skills as communication skills, friendship skills, academic skills and the ability to manage emotions. Teachers think the following social skills should be gained during the students' pre-school years: communication, leadership, responsibility, empathy, sharing and tolerance. According to the teachers' opinion, social skills have not only social aspects but also there are individual relations. The following factors are affecting children gaining social skills: individual, environmental and academic subjects. It is emerged that according to social and emotional development programs in schools need to be changed based on social skills concepts. Teachers think that putting social skills activities directly to the program will force teachers to use them. Teachers evaluated their students' acquisitions of social skills by observations, using assessment activities , doing daily and monthly evaluations, by individual questions and answers and using evaluation board. Teachers pointed that they had problems in teaching their students the following social skills: problem solving, orientation, communication, expressing themselves and their feelings, abiding rules, participation, leadership, empathy, self-confidence, recognition of other cultures, responsibility, respect the differences, self-control, to respect the others, sharing, ethical skills.Keywords: Pre-school, training, social skills. 205
