The study determined the satisfaction of the technical assistance conducted by faculty extensionists from a higher learning institution in Nueva Ecija, Philippines, during the academic year 2021-2022. It employed a mixed-method convergent-parallel method of study. It sought to describe the timeliness, quality of work, professionalism, courtesy, and achievement of the objectives of the technical assistance. Furthermore, it expressed the overall satisfaction of the beneficiaries with the conduct of the technical assistance using a quantitative approach. Qualitatively, using open-ended questions, the researchers analyzed the participants' responses using theme-generation techniques and identified the usefulness and impact of the technical assistance rendered to the employees and organization. The results generally revealed that the participants were satisfied with the service they received. A significant difference was seen in the level of difficulty experienced. The technical assistance provided has been practical. These participants' responses served as the basis for designing the college's training and extension development plan.

Introduction There is an increasing expectation for junior doctors to have a publication. However, there is not much help provided to bridge the gap between project completion or case reporting and getting published. Our previous study demonstrated that junior doctors felt that involvement in medical article publishing contributes to learning and that it is an effective teaching method. Junior doctors also agreed that it is difficult to get published. Based on this study we started a medical article publishing (MAP) club. The aim of this study was to assess user satisfaction with the MAP club. Materials and methods Questionnaires were sent to 12 doctors who obtained advice from the MAP club since its inception in December 2017. The questionnaire contained two questions: (1) how useful they found the advice and guidance received and (2) how likely they were to recommend the MAP club to their colleagues. The 10-point Likert scale responses were analyzed quantitatively. Written comments and suggestions were analyzed qualitatively by thematic analysis. Results Respondents gave scores of either 9 or 10 to both questions indicating that they found the advice and guidance received very useful and that they were very likely to recommend the MAP club to their colleagues (weighted scores 9.75 and 9.92, respectively). The thematic analysis revealed three main themes: (1) positive features of the MAP club, (2) what participants gained from the MAP club and (3) recommendations for the future. The majority of respondents commented that the club was useful, helpful, supportive, and informative. More than a third commented that the club provided encouragement, confidence, practical tips, learning experience, and the opportunity to publish. A similar proportion asked that we keep the club going and provide dedicated teaching sessions. Conclusions Junior doctors feel that the MAP club has positive features and has contributed to their learning, education, and publishing skills. A proportion of them would also like to receive formal teaching sessions concerning medical article publishing. This study has highlighted the benefits and importance of establishing a medical article publishing club for junior doctors.

Le concept de qualité ne concerne plus seulement les produits mais aussi les services ; il n’est plus réservé au secteur de l’industrie mais il envahit également le domaine de la formation et notamment les centres de langues dans le supérieur. Cela se manifeste, entre autres, par l’obtention de labels, à l’image du département de français langue étrangère de l’université de Lorraine (DéFLE-Lorraine) qui a obtenu le « Label Qualité FLE ». Son dispositif de formation ouverte en présentiel s’articule autour de plusieurs modalités d’accompagnement pour mieux se centrer sur les apprenants, leurs dispositions (représentations et motivations) et prendre en compte la diversité de leurs exigences (besoins et attentes). Cette prise en compte repose sur un processus d’évaluation multidimensionnel, externe et interne, qui contribue d’une part à mesurer le degré de compétence des apprenants, et d’autre part à contrôler la qualité de notre offre de formation et de nos services. The concept of quality is no longer limited to products but extends now to services; it is no longer reserved for the industrial sector but is becoming widespread in the field of training, and this includes language centers in higher education. This is manifest in various ways, for example, it may take the form of obtaining labels. The French Foreign Language Department of the University of Lorraine (DEFLE-Lorraine) was recently awarded such a label, the “FFL Quality Label”. Its on-site open training combines several types of pedagogical support in order to better focus on learners, their dispositions (representations and motivations) and take into account the diversity of their requirements (needs and expectations). This consideration is based on a multidimensional assessment process – external and internal – which contributes, on the one hand, to measurement of learner skills and, on the other hand, to quality control of our training offer and services.

Objective: To survey the confidence level in terms of knowledge, clinical skills and communi- cation skill of the specialists who completed training at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Songklanagarind Hospital and also the satisfaction of the their supervisors. Material and Methods: A 5-point Likert scale questionnaire was given to 94 specialists and 94 super- visors who had completed training at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology during the 1989-2010 academic years. Results: There were 68 responders (72.34%) among the specialists and 60 responders (63.83%) among their supervisors. The specialists had high confidence in all aspects with overall score of 4.22±0.50. The specialists who graduated more than 5 years had a higher confidence level than those who graduated with less than or equal to 5 years of training only in his taking aspects. The graduate specialists who were the medical instructors had more confidence than general obstetricians only in the holistic care. The specialists were also assessed by the their supervisors in four aspects namely knowledge, clinical skills, responsibility and attitude, moral and ethical behavior. It revealed that no differences were found in all aspects between the graduates of greater than 5 years and those of less than 5 years. However, the specialists who were medical instructors had higher scores in the aspects of knowledge (p=0.046) and responsibility (p=0.038). Conclusion: The specialists in obstetrics and gynecology had a high level of confidence in clinical practice, and the satisfaction assessed by their supervisors were also high.

The purpose of this study was to investigate factors which contribute to student recruitment based on level of satisfaction with university. The subjects were ２３９ junior college students who study for teaching certificate of elementary school, kindergarten, childminder. The data were obtained through questionnaires（“satisfaction survey to live a fulfilling student life”）. Their questionnaires were consisted of １２８ items, and turned ５１ items into an object of analysis. The results of factor analysis （using the principal factor analysis with promax rotation）, four factors（１６ items）about level of satisfaction with university were extracted. The four factors were named as “reinforcement of facilities environment（８ items）”, “teaching by teacher and curriculum（３ items）”, “reinforcement of human relationship（３ items）” and “extracurricular activity（２ items）”. The results of multiple linear regression analysis revealed that “Do you recommend your university for junior fellow and brother and sister?” was significantly related to “teaching by teacher and curriculum”, “reinforcement of human relationship” and “extracurricular activity”. These results indicated that heightening level of satisfaction of teaching by teacher, curriculum, human relationship and extracurricular activity could contribute to student recruitment.

Purpose: Satisfaction surveys are common in the field of health education, as a means of assisting organizations to improve the appropriateness of training materials and the effectiveness of facilitation-presentation. Data can be qualitative of which analysis often become specialized. This technical article aims to reveal whether qualitative survey results can be visualized by presenting them as a Word Cloud. Methods: Qualitative materials in the form of written comments on an agency-specific satisfaction survey were coded and quantified. The resulting quantitative data were used to convert comments into “input terms” to generate Word Clouds to increase comprehension and accessibility through visualization of the written responses. Results: A three-tier display incorporated a Word Cloud at the top, followed by the corresponding frequency table, and a textual summary of the qualitative data represented by the Word Cloud imagery. This mixed format adheres to recognition that people vary in what format is most effective for assimilating new information. Conclusion: The combination of visual representation through Word Clouds complemented by quantified qualitative materials is one means of increasing comprehensibility for a range of stakeholders, who might not be familiar with numerical tables or statistical analyses.

Background Computerized provider order entry (CPOE) has been considered essential for the reduction of medical errors and increased patient safety. Assessment of staff perception regarding a CPOE system is important for satisfaction and adoption. Incorporation of user feedback can greatly improve the functionality of a system and promote user satisfaction. Questions/Purposes This study aims to develop an informatics staff satisfaction survey instrument and to understand what components of computerized prescriber order entry (CPOE) contribute to staff satisfaction and its variability over time. Methods The 22-question survey was developed by a multidisciplinary group and focused on patient data including demographics, orders, medications, laboratory, and radiology data. The questions were designed to understand if clinicians (1) could easily access the information needed to properly take care of patients, (2) could act upon the information once acquired, (3) could obtain the information clearly, and (4) were alerted to potential errors. The survey was distributed just prior to “go-live,” 6 and 12 months after go-live. Responses were given on a five-point Likert scale. Results The survey results post-implementation showed user satisfaction with CPOE.
