This research was carried out with the main objective of developing tools that can help the learning process of students in statistics courses who have had difficulty improving their learning outcomes because of the lack of learning materials prepared by lecturers for them to be used as the main reference while programming the course. Departing from the in-depth needs analysis carried out and the research method used, namely research and development, the researcher then designs a prototype of teaching materials that will be developed in the form of modules and learning videos. After that, the prototype was validated by two experts in the field of teaching material development. The results showed that 20 students out of a total of 27 respondents saw that they needed the latest learning modules and videos that could make it easier for them to complete the subject matter because what had been used by lecturers so far still made it difficult for them to learn because the instruction and exposure to information did not meet the needs of students. The prototype modules and learning videos that have been developed are declared valid by experts in several aspects, namely self-instruction aspects, self-contained aspects, stand-alone aspects, adaptive aspects, and user-friendly aspects, so they are suitable for use by lecturers because they can help student’s complete lessons so that their learning outcomes can improve. Keluarga yang berkah, sakinah, mawaddah warahmah merupakan tujuan perkawinan yang diinginkan oleh setiap pasangan menikah. Akan tetapi dalam kenyataannya yang terjadi malah sebaliknya, banyak pasangan yang menghadapi permasalahan dan konflik dengan pasangan masing masing sehingga berujung kepada perceraian. Di surabaya sendiri pada tahun 2018 mencatat pengadilan Agama menerima permohonan cerai sejumlah 6.513 perkara yang meningkat dari tahun sebelumnya dengan 5.556. Hal ini tentu saja memprihatinkan dan berusaha diatasi oleh pemerintah dengan menyelenggarakan bimbingan atau kursus pra nikah dengan diterbitkannya Peraturan Direktur Jenderal Bimbingan Masyarakat Islam No. DJ.II/542 tahun 2013 tentang Pedoman Penyelenggaran Kursus Pra Nikah. Sejalan dengan inilah, Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan melakukan kegiatan pendampingan dan konsultasi seputar jodoh, pernikahan dan keluarga islami yang berlokasi di Margorejo Surabaya. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini membantu masyarakat untuk memahami ilmu pra menikah dimulai dari bagaimana memilih jodoh/pasangan yang ideal menurut Islam dan pasca menikah yaitu bagaimana menjalani pernikahan dan membangun keluarga yang bahagia berdasarkan hukum Islam dan teladan Nabi Muhammad SAW. Pendampingan dan konsultasi ini diikuti dengan antusias oleh para peserta, bahkan ada dua peserta yang berhasil didampingi dalam proses ta’aruf, khitbah (lamaran) sampai menikah yang menjadikan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini unggul dibandingkan dengan pengabdian sejenis.

This study aims to describe the racial discrimination from white people against black people that was formerly a slave by analyzing Langston Hughes' poems; I, Too, To the Black Beloved, The White Ones, and My Beloved. Presentation of racial discrimination can be seen from the act of prejudice, insulting, words used, and the act of suppression to the black people. These poems represent the poet's feeling of social phenomena that happened. The data were analyzed utilizing the new historicism theory, enriched by historical text, socio-cultural, and political information during slavery. This study is a qualitative descriptive method using the new historicism approach to explain the racial discrimination experienced in Langston Hughes' poems. The result showed that Langston Hughes reflects the phenomena of racial discrimination through his poems, such as slave, victim, nigger, torture, darker brother, and not beautiful in his poems. Langston Hughes in his poetry concludes that black discrimination is treated badly; they eat in the kitchen, they are not beautiful, children's happiness is tarnished, and racial discrimination is inhumane.

Summary Background This study aimed to determine the relationship between Deficiency of vitamin D and hyperglycemia in children with obesity. Methods This cross-sectional study was carried out between February and April of 2020. This study's subject population consisted of high school students aged 11 to 17 who were obese. The 25 (OH) level of Vitamin D was determined using the Chemiluminescence Immune Assay method. Subjects were divided into 4 groups; vitamin D deficiency with hyperglycemia, vitamin D deficiency without hyperglycemia, normal vitamin D with hyperglycemia, and normal vitamin D without hyperglycemia. Results The prevalence of hyperglycemia was 28 (54.9%) in the vitamin D deficiency group and 17 (378%) in the normal vitamin D group, respectively. Statistical analysis revealed no statistically significant difference between the two groups (p = 0.093). With p = 0.031, there was a significant difference in the mean value of fasting blood sugar levels between the two groups. The frequency of hyperglycemia was 54.9 percent in the vitamin D deficiency group and 37.8 percent in the normal vitamin D group. Fasting blood sugar levels were lower in obese children with vitamin D deficiency than in children with normal vitamin D. Conclusion Fasting blood sugar levels were correlated with vitamin D levels in obese children, but clinically insignificant. However, the research is ongoing, so, it is critical to conduct early screening for Vitamin D and fasting blood sugar levels in order to reduce the risk of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases.

One of effectives technique that used by the teacher is Career Exploration Technique where it was affords as a systematic procedure by the teacher could guide the students to write. Career exploration is an activity, guide, and counseling to assist students make decisions about choosing their future professions, and how to get jobs in their chosen fields (Kelly, 2010). The teacher could guide students to express and write down their ideas in choosing a job in the future. As opinion of the researcher that one of the best ways to stimulate the students’ idea is facilitate them by giving the material that is closest to their life and the closest thing is about themselves.This research will use Quasi-experimental design as a method which involves two groups; an experimental group and control group. The population of this research is the fourth semester of English Education at STKIP Muhammadiyah Bulukumba in 2018-2019 academic years. There are two classes namely 18 A that consist of 23 students and 18 B that consist of 27 students, so the total number of population is 50 students. It will be taken by using total technique sampling. So, the sample of this research is 18 A for control group and 18 B for experimental group. During the research, the researcher will apply Career exploration technique in writing class. The purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of Career exploration technique in teaching writing course.

Peran keluarga menjadi sangat penting sebagai basis teladan dan sentral perubahan untuk mewujudkan generasi emas yang berakhlak, sehat, cerdas, terampil, dan mandiri dengan menciptakan kondisi lingkungan rumah yang asri, nyaman, ramah dan sehat untuk perkembangan anak. Kondisi ini dapat ditumbuh kembangkan melalui pendidikan keluarga berbasis paket pemberdayaan dengan sasaran perangkat desa, petugas kesehatan dan keluarga (PEKESGA) guna optimalisasi fungsi keluarga. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan melakukan survei kesiapan lokasi kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berkoordinasi dengan mitra, melakukan edukasi kepada keluarga tentang fungsi-fungsi keluarga khususnya tentang perbaikan gizi keluarga dan program kelompok kerja PEKESGA, dan membentuk kelompok kerja PEKESGA berdasarkan kesepakatan bersama dan dilegalkan melalui SK Kepala Desa. Hasil analisis pre-test dan post-test diketahui terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap fungsi keluarga khususnya dalam perbaikan gizi keluarga.

The vulnerability of the moral crisis that occurs in millennial children has led to numerous irregularities such as rape, taurine, extortion, bullying and other negative forms of violence. These changes occur due to globalization and the increasing development of technology, thereby leading to deviant behaviours amongst children. Therefore, character education based on Ethno pedagogy in Islamic basic education institutions is important due to its ability to reduce the impact of negative behaviours on primary-age children. The purpose of this research is to describe the meaning of Ethno pedagogy of MIN 1 Sambas in applying local cultural values. This research uses a naturalistic phenomenology approach through participant observation, interview, and documentation techniques with primary data obtained from students, teachers, parents, and community leaders. The results showed the importance of integrating the self-development program of students based on Ethno pedagogy of Melayu Sambas, familiar with fostering character education in creating local cultures such as the Sambas Malay language. Furthermore, ethnology tends to foster a religious character in the millennial generation, namely religious character, such as the attitudes and behaviour of priests and taqwa applied in everyday life.

This study aims to determine which strategy is the most effective in improving students' reading skills in English Learning. This study used two comparison classes, namely the experimental class and the control class at MTs Khazanah Kebajikan. In the experimental class, class VIII A uses the Think-Ahead and Write strategy. While the control class uses class VIII B with conventional methods. Based on the data obtained by the researcher, the results of the t-test of this study were 3.92007, while for the t-table with levels of 0.05 and 28 degrees of freedom obtained 1.70113. The calculation results show that the t-observation is 3.92007 > tt (t-table) 1.70113. The alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. The results of the class research above show that the implementation of Think-Ahead and Write strategies as an effort to improve students' reading skills is effective and efficient.

Health communication is one of the core compulsory subjects for midwifery students. The character-based health communication learning model is a study with the aim to find out the effectiveness of the character education-based health communication learning model with a specific target of improving student achievement. In this study the method used was Pre-Experimental with Posttest Only Control Group Design with a sample of 70 students divided into 2 groups: 35 treatment group respondents and 35 control group respondents. The results of the study of the effectiveness of health education learning models based on character education on improving learning achievement, interpretation of the results of the normality test data of the treatment group has a sig value of 0.200> 0.05, and the control group has a sig value of 0.129> 0.05, meaning that the data is normally distributed. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia is higher than other countries, even among Asian countries. Exercise during pregnancy is the one of method to prepare delivery process and further is to prevent maternal death. The objective of this research is to analyze relationship between knowledge and Gymnastics Yoga In Pregnancy, also relationship between Gymnastics Yoga In Pregnancy and delivery process. This was a cross sectional research. Moreover, the population involve in this research were all primi para (mother that having first pregnancy) that recorded at Air Putih Public Health Service Centre in Samarinda. The samples were taken by simple random sampling method. Furthermore, the relationship among variables was analyzed using chi square and fisher exact test. The result shows that there was no relationship between knowledge and Gymnastics Yoga In Pregnancy (p = 0.060), but there was a relationship between Gymnastics Yoga In Pregnancy and delivery process (p = 0.000). According to result of the research, it’s suggested that health promotion by doing Gymnastics Yoga In Pregnancy should be developed because it can prepare physically and psychologically of delivery process and reduce the risk of maternal death.

Learning conducted by teachers and lecturers will not take place without online management in the current pandemic covid-19. Therefore, the technical guidance organized by LPPM University of Muhammadiyah Enrekang aims to provide teachers and lecturers with understanding and skills on how to manage learning online or online. This stage of research includes analyzing the need for an online learning management platform, conducting technical guidance, and conducting evaluations. After the technical guidance activity, the participants liked the material and speakers in the technical guidance which indicated that the participants understood the material presented by the resource persons. Based on the evaluation results it was found that the implementation of this activity was successful with a high level of attendance of the participants, a level of likeness that was evenly distributed in all material presented by the resource persons, and a very high level of satisfaction with the guidance committee services.

The presence of modern market in Bengkulu city indirectly affects the shopping pattern of Bengkulu city community which in turn will affect the performance of traders in traditional markets. This research is conducted to investigate the impact of modern market presence on the traditional market with parameter observed including the turnover amount of merchants, merchandise turnover, number of traders, number of trader hours, profit margins of traditional traders in Bengkulu city before and after the establishment of a modern market. The population in this study are oil, sugar and durable goods traders and fruit traders in traditional markets, which are still actively trading before and after the establishment of modern traditional markets. Twenty fife durable good traders and 15 fruit traders are selected randomly. Data is analyzed using Paired t-test method. The results show that there are differences in turnover, opening hours, and profit margins of traditional traders in Bengkulu city before and after the establishment of a modern market. Suggestion in this research is to enforcediscipline and control of officer routinely to the illegal traders not to trade along the road and sidewalk.Keywords: impact, turnover, opening hours, profit margins

Comparison of children with autism with normal children around the world reached 1 : 100. In South Sulawesi , no less than 1,000 children under the age of five years ( toddlers ) affected with autism . In order to develop an autistic child is required pontesi container that can reflect some of the child protection legislation and government programs are compulsory nine years . Containers must be based on a system of activities and special education for children with autism . The goal is to identify children with special needs with emphasis on healing the child to be able to blend in social life . From the analysis of the need for container have been the right location and in accordance with the designation of the central building and educational activities of children with autism in Makassar, which is in Tamalanrea . Background: Medical error has been defined as an unintended act or one that does not achieve its intended health outcome. Medical error causes not only monetary loss, but also lost of patient’s trust in the healthcare system, low patient satisfaction, and degraded morale among healthcare professionals, who often feel helpless to change the situation. Patient harm from medical error can occur at the individual or system level. Medical error may arise due to poor doctor-nurse professional relationship and poor health care team communication. This study aimed to assess the doctor-nurse professional relationship and health care team communication in the hospital setting. Subjects and Method: This was a cross sectional study conducted at 8 teaching hospitals under-cooperation with Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, including Bantul Hospital, PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital, Yogyakarta City Hospital, Magelang Hospital, Purworejo Regional Hospital, Salatiga Regional Hospital, Temanggung Regional General Hospital, and Wonosobo Regional Hospital. A sample of 61 medical co-assistants was selected for this study. The study theme was doctor-nurse professional relationship and health care team communication. The data were collected by questionnaire, in-depth interview, and direct observation. Results: Doctor-nurse professional relationship, communication, and collaboration, in the medical decision process, discussion for the medical decision process, and dissemination of medical information to patients, were still weak. There were 2 hospitals with the lowest rating points of doctor-nurse relationship and medical team communication, namely Purworejo District Hospital and Yogyakarta City Hospital among the six other hospitals. Conclusion: Doctor-nurse professional relationship and the quality of communication between doctors and other health professionals is still poor. This paper reports a method for measuring for the complex permittivity, permeability and microwave absorption properties of human blood of healthy human body. The proposed measurement method can be a useful technique for microwave absorption properties of human blood. The measurement using a waveguide in the microwave band. In order to measure the s-parameter of human blood, a sample should completely fill in the waveguide end and the samples holder using the vector network analyzer (VNA). The complex permittivity and permeability of human blood are resulted in the frequency range from 7 to 13 GHz. Their complex permeability and permittivity, microwave absorption properties values were calculated. The blood sample has the magnetic loss and magnetic energy dissipation. The reflection loss (RL) of blood sample has different absorption with its minimum value of -3.53 dB at 9.36 GHz.

Human blood has been prepared from healthy human body. Structure, and electrical properties of human blood are studied. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) image exhibits a uniform size distribution of thrombocyte of human blood with an average size less than 15 μm. Electrical analysis of the blood sample was measured by linear sweep voltammetry in the potential range between -1 and 1 V with scan rate 50 mV/s to 200 mV/s at room temperature.. At scan rate of 250 mV/s, a peak was clearly observed from 300 mV to 750 mV. The peak should be attributed to an oxidation process of occurred to blood sample.

Sandfish Holothuria scabra is a species of high economic value that causes sandfish to be the most captured sea cucumber species, and is an important source of income for fishermen in coastal villages. Sandfish capture causes already over fishing. If the wild population of sandfish is not managed properly, over fishing could cause sandfish extinction. This reason, an alternative efforts are needed to increase sandfish production, such as cultivation and restocking. Sandfish was a species that can live in the estuary region, so that it has the potential to be maintained in brackish water ponds. One of the problems of Sandfish cultivation in the brackish water ponds was the predators attack. This study aims to analyze the predator attack on sandfish. The study was carried out on a microcosm scale by using the tanks. The organism used was Sandfish H. scabra, Nile Tilapia Oreochromis niloticus, and seaweed Gracilaria sp. Mangrove Snail attack can cause death if the sandfish has already eviscerated. The healing process takes one to several weeks, depending on the size of the wound. Nile Tilapia attacks were generally not deadly. Death only occurs if the wound is too deep and causes internal organs to come out, but this was very rare. During the study, only one case occurred in which the sandfish died due to the attack of Nile Tilapia. The sandfish that not injured in the ventral side, and does not suffer from evisceration, the mortality was zero. Sandfish wounds heal within one to three weeks, depending on the surface area of the tegument eaten by Nile Tilapia. Healed wounds appear darker in color.

Factor XI Deficiency (FXID) is a genetic defect due to an autosomal recessive allele in dairy cows, thus cause a large economic and productivity loss in livestock. The purpose of this study was to identify the distribution of recessive alleles of FXID in dairy cows in Enrekang regency using the PCR method. A total of 80 DNA samples were isolated from the FH dairy cow blood sample collected from the Enrekang dairy farms (50 samples from Cendana district and 30 samples from Anggeraja District). All DNA samples were amplified by the PCR technique. The identification of the FXID carrier allele was calculated based on the genotype and allele frequencies. Results showed that 1 of 50 samples from Cendana district was FXID heterozygous while none of 30 samples from Anggeraja district showed FXID alleles. This study concluded that there was a normal heterozygous (Ff) FXID carrier in dairy cow population in Enrekang Regency with the allele frequency was 1.25%.

The objective of the research were to find out whether or not the use of Humor Story can improve the students’ reading comprehension and Students interest at the Eighth of SMP Negeri 4 Pancarijang. This research employed a mixed method that applied monolingual class. The population of this research was the eighth grade students in academic year 2018-2019. There were 65 students spread in 3 classes ( VIII.1, VIII.2, and VIII.3) and each class consist appropriately 20-22 students. The researcher took simple random and chose VIII.2 as the representative and the number of total sample is 21 students. The data of the research were collected by using two kinds of instruments, namely reading comprehension test and questionnaire. Reading test was used to obtain data of the students’ reading comprehension ability and questionnaire was used to know the students interest in Reading Comprehension by using Humor Story. The result of data analysis showed that there was significant difference between the students’ score after they were taught by using Humor Story and before they were taught by Humor Story. It was proved by the mean score of the post-test which was higher than the mean score of pre-test (57.57>40.33). Furthermore, the result of the p-value (0.000) was lower than level of significant (α = 0.05); which means that H1 was accepted. Then, the analysis of interest by using Likert Scale indicated that teacing reading comprehension by using humor story, the students were interested. It was proved by 57% students who were strongly interested, 33% students who were interested and 10% students who were moderate. Based on data analysis, the research concluded that: (1) the use of Humor Story effective in improves students’ reading comprehension; (2) the use of Humor Story makes the students interested to learn reading comprehension
