Waves is one of the Physics materials that must be mastered and understood. Students need help describing the mechanism of wave movement, so it is necessary to develop a test instrument tailored to the scientific field of Biology. Therefore, the study aimed to develop a Wave conceptual knowledge test instrument that can be used to train and measure the mastery of Physics concepts of the Wave topic of Biology Department students that meet the instrument's feasibility, including content validity, reliability, and difficulty level. This research uses the 4D development model (Four-D models), which consists of four stages: Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Instruments-based feasibility is based on content validity, test reliability, and difficulty level. Based on the study results, the instruments developed were based on indicators of achievement of Physics competencies for Biology Department students. The content was adjusted to the field of Biology, namely the concept of waves in the human and animal hearing system. The test instrument met the criteria, namely content validity, test reliability, and difficulty level, so this instrument can be used to train and measure the physics concept mastery of Biology students. The wave topic adapted to the scientific field of Biology can help Biology students understand the wave concepts correctly.

This research states that in Islamic law adopting a child is a good act, which helps adopted children get a proper education. Basically, implementing the above rights of children is an obligation and joint responsibility of the government and society. The phenomenon that occurs in Indonesia is that the educational rights of adopted children have shifted to utilization, due to several factors, one of which is economic. The aim of this research is to strengthen previous research, and examine further the shift in the educational rights of adopted children and look at the factors that result in non-fulfillment of adopted children’s rights in Indonesia. This research uses a normative sociological approach with the nature of the analytical descriptive research. The results of this research found several factors that resulted in shifting, even not being given the rights of adopted children.

Acute respiratory infection is a health problematic in Islamic boarding school. Lack of student awareness in maintaining health causes an increase in acute respiratory infections. This community service aims to increase the knowledge, skills and awareness of students in improving immunity and preventing acute respiratory infection. The method used is participatory action research (PAR), which is divided into four stages, namely focus group discussions, education, making herbal supplements, and evaluation. Focus group discussion was participated by some element, including coordinator of santri husada, santri husada, basic health service and students. Education was presented as lectures, discussion and consultation about immunity elevation. Education was conducted in several days for student in A1, A2, B, and M’hadul Quran dormitory to encourage more students. The next step was training to make herbal supplement, which attended by 42 students. The Forty-two student were divided into six groups to make herbal drink and instant supplement drink. Based on training evaluation, the education and training increased the knowledge and skill of participants. In summary, this activity increase health immune knowledge and supplement making of students.

Poverty is one of the main issues in the economic development of a country, including Indonesia. This was exacerbated when the Covid-19 pandemic had an impact on economic activities, so there are educated people who are still below the poverty line. Therefore, strategies in tackling the problem of poverty need to be developed in line with the times that have entered the era of digitalization. The research aimed to examine the importance of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) on high-educated poverty in East Java. Data obtained from the National Survey in Indonesia is analyzed with the random forest algorithm as a classification method in machine learning. The analysis shows that social media, laptop ownership, age, higher education, and internet access are the five most important variables for high-educated poverty classification in East Java. Based on this, a number of recommendations can be made to policy makers regarding the effect of digitalization on high-educated poverty in East Java.

This study examines the levels of self-efficacy and factors influencing the self-efficacy on the use of educational technology among English lecturers in Islamic higher education institutions in East Java, Indonesia, in the post-COVID-19 pandemic. There are two research questions addressed: 1) What levels of self-efficacy do the lecturers exhibit on the pedagogical skills and actual use of educational technology in the post–COVID–19 pandemic? 2) What factors influence the lecturers’ self-efficacy on the use of educational technology in the post–COVID–19 pandemic? Utilizing a survey research design, data were collected using an adapted version of the Professional Self-Efficacy Scale for Information and Communication Technology Teachers (PSES) questionnaire. The data from 37 participants were then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The result showed that the lecturers’ self-efficacy in their pedagogical skills and the actual use of educational technology was moderate, and they will continue integrating educational technology in their classrooms in the post–COVID–19 era. Moreover, the qualitative data indicated that the lecturers had moderate skills in using technology with limited educational technology tools. Age, gender, qualifications, and teaching experience emerged as factors influencing the lecturers’ self-efficacy on the use of educational technology in classrooms. The findings highlighted the need for English lecturers in Islamic higher education institutions to broaden their skills in using educational technology for learning. Policymakers need to design appropriate strategies to enhance lecturers’ pedagogical practices in using educational technology for online learning to ensure effective and efficient teaching in the post-COVID-19 pandemic.

Many researchers have developed learning media. However, learning media with ethnoscience content in Betawi is still little developed. This study aims to develop learning media flipbooks with ethnoscience content on the classification of living things. The research method used was the ADDIE development method. The results showed that the feasibility test on media development was declared very valid by media and material experts with a percentage of 91.30%. While the feasibility test conducted by respondents was declared very valid as well, with a percentage of 87.63%, In accordance with the eligibility criteria table, it can be concluded that the ethnoscience-integrated flipbook learning media is declared very feasible to use in learning the Classification of Living Things material. The implication of this research is that the ethnoscience-charged media developed can be used in biology learning. In addition, the ethnoscience-integrated flipbook media can introduce Betawi local wisdom to students. However, ethnoscience-integrated flipbook learning media have not been tested for effectiveness. Research is needed to test the effectiveness of ethnoscience-integrated flipbook learning media.

The purpose of this study was to find out how to analyze the ability to write short stories through the gap technique in class IV of elementary school. This research was conducted in several elementary schools, namely: SDN Ciawi 2, SDN Sukadame 2, SDN Sentul 1 and SDN Baros 3 with a total population of 5 elementary schools for each student. The research used is included in the type of qualitative research. To explain the results of research using descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. Based on the results and discussion previously described, it can be concluded that the analysis of the ability to write short stories through the gap technique in class IV elementary school students produces a score of 69.5% with the High criteria. This is evidenced by the learning outcomes of students in answering the gaps in the short story text on the LKPD given by their class teacher. The results of the analysis of the ability to write short stories of students from SDN Ciawi 2 were 72% included in the high criteria, 66% of SDN Sukadame 2 were included in the high criteria, SDN Sentul 1 was 68% included in the high criteria and SDN Baros 3 was 72% fall into the high criteria.

Kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi bagi siswa sangat penting untuk menghadapi abad 21. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat dikembangkan adalah RADEC (Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain and Create) berbasis STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematic). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC berbasis STEAM terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sistem koloid. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan the matching pretest-posttest design. Sampel ditentukan secara purposive, dengan siswa kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen tes yang dikembangkan melalui taksonomi Bloom Revisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran RADEC berbasis STEAM memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap berpikir kritis siswa dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Hal tersebut diperhatikan dari skor rata-rata pretest di kelas RADEC 73.73 dan inkuiri 70.23. Sementara skor rata-rata posttest kelas RADEC 95.00 dan inkuiri 85.00. Data tersebut mebuktikan bahwa peningkatan pada kelas eksperimen mencapai 21.27, kelas kontrol 14.77. Sintaks pembelajaran RADEC berbasis STEAM sesuai dengan konteks Indonesiaan, khususnya pada tahap Read dan Answer yang membuat siswa lebih siap untuk belajar. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran RADEC berbasis STEAM berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Abstract. High critical thinking skills for students are very important in the Independent Curriculum to face the 21st century. One learning model that can be developed is RADEC (Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain and Create) based on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the STEAM-based RADEC learning model on students' critical thinking skills in colloidal system material. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a matching pretest-posttest design. The sample was determined purposively, with students of class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and students in class XI IPA 3 as the control class. The instrument developed through to the Revised Bloom's taxonomy. The results showed that the RADEC learning model had a positive influence on students' critical thinking compared to the inquiry learning model. It was noticed from the pretest average score in the RADEC class of 73.73 and inquiry 70.23. While the average score of the RADEC class posttest was 95.00 and the inquiry was 85.00. The data proves that the increase in the experimental class reached 21.27, the control class 14.77. The STEAM-based RADEC learning syntax in accordance with the context of the Indonesian language, especially at the Read and Answer stages which makes students more prepared to learn. The conclusion of this study that the STEAM-based RADEC learning model has a positive effect on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstrak Wisata budaya, seperti yang menampilkan Rumah Adat Kampung Naga, berpusat pada kajian dan apresiasi terhadap berbagai aspek infrastruktur dan nonstruktural budaya lokal. Melihat lebih dalam, menjadi jelas bahwa dalam pembangunan rumah adat Kampung Naga ada unsur-unsur budaya yang memiliki hubungan dengan matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) Etnomatematika yang terdapat dalam proses pembangunan rumah adat masyarakat Kampung Naga Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dan (2) Konsep matematis yang terdapat dalam proses pembangunan rumah adat masyarakat Kampung Naga Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Studi ini adalah contoh dari berbagai penelitian kualitatif,dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan data yang terkumpul, dapat ditarik kesimpulan tentang proses pembangunan rumah adat sunda pada masyarakat Kampung Naga di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya: (1) Etnomatematika yang ditemukan dalam pembangunan rumah adat masyarakat Kampung Naga diantaranya: perhitungan naktu/weton untuk menentukan hari baik dalam mempersiapkan proses pembangunan rumah hingga menempati rumah baru, penentuan luas rumah, penentuan arah hadap rumah dan tempat menyimpan kebutuhan pokok (goah), penentuan waktu mendirikan rumah (nangtungkeun bumi), penentuan jumlah kaso/usuk, penentuan jumlah penyangga lantai bambu (sarang). dan (2) Konsep matematis yang ditemukan dalam pembangunan rumah adat masyarakat Kampung Naga Kabupaten Tasikmalaya diantaranya: penggunaan penjumlahan, pembagian, dan modulo 3 untuk menentukan hari baik dimulainya persiapan proses pembangunan hingga menempati rumah baru melalui perhitungan naktu/weton; perkalian untuk menentukan jumlah kaso/usuk, dan barisan aritmatika untuk menentukan luas rumah, menentukan waktu mendirikan rumah (nangtungkeun bumi), menentukan jumlah kaso/usuk, dan menentukan jumlah penyangga lantai bamboo (sarang). Looking deeper, it becomes clear that in the construction of the Kampung Naga traditional house there are cultural elements that have a relationship with mathematics. The aims of this research are to describe: (1) Ethnomatematics involved in the process of building traditional houses for the Kampung Naga community in Tasikmalaya Regency and (2) Mathematical concepts involved in the process of building traditional houses for the Kampung Naga community in Tasikmalaya Regency. This study is an example of a variety of qualitative research, with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques through interviews and observation. Based on the data collected, conclusions can be drawn about the process of building Sundanese traditional houses in the Kampung Naga community in Tasikmalaya Regency: (1) The ethnomathematics found in the construction of traditional houses in the Kampung Naga community includes: naktu/weton calculations to determine auspicious days in preparing for the house construction process to occupying a new house, determining the area of the house, determining the direction towards the house and a place to store basic necessities (goah), determining when to build the house (nangtungkeun bumi), determining the number of rafters/usuks, determining the number of bamboo floor supports (sarang). and (2) The mathematical concepts found in the construction of the traditional house of the Kampung Naga community in Tasikmalaya Regency include: the use of addition, division, and modulo 3 to determine the auspicious day of starting the preparation for the construction process until occupying a new house through the naktu/weton calculation; multiplication to determine the number of rafters/usuks, and arithmetic sequences to determine the area of the house, determine the time to build the house (nangtungkeun bumi), determine the number of rafters/usuks, and determine the number of bamboo floor supports (sarang). This research aimed at developing a STEAM-based students’ worksheet with the Ecoprint technique and analysing the developed product's validity, feasibility and practicality. This research used the 4D development method (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The research subjects were 102 students of the tenth-grade science class in Senior High School. The instruments employed expert validation tests and questionnaires. The data were analysed by processing validator response data with a Likert scale converted into qualitative data. The results showed that the STEAM-based students’ worksheet with the Ecoprint technique obtained a moderate level for its validity, while the feasibility aspects were 90% based on the students’ views and 91% from the teachers. The results of the practicality test were 87% from the teachers and 92% by students, respectively. It can be concluded that the STEAM-based students’ worksheets with the Ecoprint technique are valid, feasible and practical to use as a supporting learning media of Biology. Steam-based students’ worksheet with the Ecoprint technique is very suitable to be applied as an innovative learning media which is relevant to 21st century demands by emphasising 4C skills.

This study aims to determine the level of empowerment of rice farmers in Pegayut village, Ogan Ilir Regency. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and documentation. The population in this study, namely rice farmers in Pegayut village as many as 162 people, using the calculation with the Slovin formula and obtained a sample of 62 respondents. Validity test with a significant level of 5%. The reliability test using the Cronbach Alpha formula obtained a value of 0.893 with very high reliability criteria. The results showed that the level of empowerment of rice farmers in Pegayut village was 76% with high category. This can be seen from the indicators of empowerment, namely 1) the fulfillment of basic needs of farmers by 76.55% in the high category, 2) the ability of farmers to manage agricultural information by 72.92% in the high category, 3) the ability of farmers to make decisions by 81 .15% in the high category, is said to be high because farmers are able to meet their daily needs in terms of clothing, food and shelter and the educational needs of children, farmers are able to manage agricultural information very well and are able to make good decisions. Then, 4) the ability of farmers to market their products is 61.15% with sufficient category, and 5) the ability of farmers to apply agricultural technology is 69.64% with sufficient category, this is because most farmers store their agricultural products and sell them if there are buyers and some farmers still grow rice using the traditional way. As for suggestions for rice farmers to further improve their ability to market their products and build cooperation between communities in order to create farmer groups. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of the family in meeting the spiritual needs of the elderly in RT.021 RW.009, Sako Village, Palembang City. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection was done by interview, observation and documentation. The subjects of this study were eight people, namely four elderly and four elderly families. The results showed that the role of the family in fulfilling the spiritual needs of the elderly had not been implemented properly. The role of the family in meeting the spiritual needs of the elderly, among others, is a relationship with God, a relationship with oneself, a relationship with others and a relationship with nature. The role of the family in the relationship with God has not been carried out properly, the elderly family pays less attention to and reminds the elderly to worship. However, the elderly already have their own awareness to increase their deeds of worship as provisions in the afterlife. Relationships with oneself are like helping the elderly in finding their purpose in life and helping the elderly solve their problems. Relationships with other people such as providing information and taking trips. Relationships with nature such as facilitating the elderly to keep the environment clean and facilitating the elderly in maintaining the coolness of the environment by farming. To support the spiritual activities of the elderly, the family provides care in the form of spiritual care, physical care, psychological care and social care and it is hoped that the Sako Village will further improve spiritual facilities for the elderly.

In line with cognitive abilities, students’ skills in behavior (affective domain) are also required to be aligned with the Pancasila students’ profile. Students are expected to have characters, namely Faith, Pious to God Almighty, and noble character; Global Diversity; Working together; Creative; Critical Reasoning; and Independence. The purpose of this paper is to develop valid and reliable math questions with Pancasila students’ profile characteristics. The research used the instrument development method developed by Saifuddin Azwar, which includes setting goals, limiting the size domain, operationalization of behavioral aspects, item write-up, expert analysis, field trials, psychometric analysis, and final compilation. The development results indicate that 15 questions on fractions with different denominators are characterized by the Pancasila students’ profile. After validating the content and field trials validated by the expert in the form of construct validation, reliability, and discrimination tests, it was found that 15 questions were valid by 4 expert validators. 12 out of 15 questions were stated to be constructively valid, 12 questions were reliable, and 11 questions have good discriminatory power enough.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between body anthropometry and mastery of volleyball movement skills for students at SMA Negeri 1 Kajen. This type of research is Explanatory Research using survey methods. The independent variable is body anthropometry and the dependent variable is volleyball movement skills. The subjects of this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Kajen who actively participated in volleyball extracurricular activities. The research sample was selected using total sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 24 subjects. The data collection technique used body anthropometric tests, namely: height, weight, arm length, and leg length as well as volleyball movement skill tests using the American Association for Health, Physical Education Recreation and Dance test guidelines for ages 10-18 years, namely volleyball, service, passing, and set-up tests. Data were analyzed using multiple correlation tests and canonical correlation tests. The results showed that all components of body anthropometry were positively correlated with each component of volleyball movement skills, there was a close relationship between height, arm length and leg length with volleyball, service and set up skills. There is no correlation between all components of body anthropometry and all components of volleyball movement skills together. The conclusion of this study is that the anthropometric components of the body are not correlated with the components of volleyball movement skills together

This development research aims to produce teaching materials for reading the beginning of the letters of the alphabet, vowels, and. The method used is research and development. The subjects were grade I elementary school students, totaling 20 people. Teaching materials developed using the ADDIE model, namely: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. Data collection using questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique was carried out with validity analysis, practicality analysis and effectiveness analysis. The results of data analysis are categorized as valid with an average value of 89.64%, teaching materials are categorized as practical in a one to one trial with an average value of 91.3%, small group trials with an average value of 90.7% and teaching materials are categorized as effective with an average score of 84%. Based on the validation results, practicality results, and effectiveness results, it is concluded that this textbook is suitable for use in learning Indonesian. .

This study aims to determine the effect of concrete media on sound material on conceptual understanding. This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. This research method is a Pre-Experimental method with a research design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this research is one class which opens 28 students. The research instrument was written in the form of multiple choice as many as 15 questions. Based on the research, the average value of the pretest results of the experimental class was 61.67 and the average value of the posttest results increased to 83.57. So, the increase based on the pretest and posttest scores is 21.9. In addition, through hypothesis testing with t-test results obtained that the value of the statistical table t = 12,325 with df = 27 and the number sig. or p-value of 0.000

Self-efficacy, problem solving, and gender differences are aspects that many researchers concern to today. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to describe the profile of students’ self-efficacy in solving problems based on gender. We used a qualitative approach with exploratory research to answer the research objectives. We used the Mathematical Ability Test (TKM) instrument, Mathematical Problem-Solving Tasks (TPMM), and interview guidelines to consider the selected subjects. Next, two students were selected (14 years old, of different gender, and had good math skills) to participate in the study. Data from transcripts and student work were used to perform data analysis. The results revealed that there were fundamental differences between the two subjects based on three dimensions of self-efficacy (magnitude, strength, and generality). This is discussed further in this article. Finally, we suggest to explore the influence of regional culture on students’ self-efficacy in the classroom.

This article discusses previous research studies that indicate the benefits and advantages of using information technology in learning. The research is to ascertain elementary school teacher education students' perceptions of integrating information technology in learning. The type of this research is qualitative survey research. The research was conducted in the elementary school teacher education study program of FKIP Riau through data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews. The population in the study involved 72 elementary school teacher education study program students of FKIP Riau as a respondent in this research with a random sampling technique. The results of the analysis indicate that 81% of students had already knowledge about information technology, 77% indicates that they felt the benefits of information technology use, and 53% indicates they were satisfied with the integration of information technology in learning. Based on the conclusions of the research results, it is recommended that there should be variations in integrating information technology through various learning models or methods to make students experience more meaningful learning.

The goal is to produce a scrapbook digital media based on fairy tale stories in the learning of Indonesian grade IV SD Negeri 235 Palembang that is valid, practical and has potential effects. This type of research uses (Reseach and Development) using the ADDIE model. The subjects in this study were grade IV elementary school students who numbered one to one as many as 4 students and small groups as many as 8 students. Data collection instruments are in the form of media validation sheets by validators, practical questionnaire sheets from students and documentation. Based on the results of the study obtained an average of 85.3% with a very valid category, from the results of the student response questionnaire, namely one to one by 89.5% and small group 87.1% with the very practical category, and the test results of the questions with the results of 86.6% with the category of very potential effects. Based on the validation results, practicality results, and potential effectiveness results, it is concluded that this scrapbook digital media is very feasible to be used in learning Indonesian

ABSTRAK Tujuan penulisan ini yaitu untuk mendeksripsikan efektivitas modul pembelajaran berbasis problem based learning dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi dinamika rotasi. Jenis penilitian yang digunakan yaitu peneliian eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas XI MIPA SMAN Taraju dengan menggunakan desain penelitian One Group Pre test-Post test. Kemudian untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah menggunakan desain One Group Pre test-Post test dan memperoleh nilai efek size sebesar 3.19 sehingga menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan dengan taraf atau kriteria sangat besar serta dilakukan uji t-test dan mendapatkan hasil thitung > ttabel yaitu 17,77 > 2,86 Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini dapat menghasilkan modul pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning yang layak pada materi dinamika rotasi dan juga dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada siswa. The purpose of this paper is to describe the effectiveness of problem-based learning modules in physics learning to improve students' problem-solving abilities in the rotational dynamics material. The type of research used is experimental research. This research was conducted on class XI MIPA students of SMAN Taraju by using the research design One Group Pre-test-Post test. Then to measure the problem solving ability using the One Group Pre-test-Post test design and obtain an effect size value of 3.19 so that it shows that there is an increase with a very large level or criteria and a t-test is carried out and gets the results of tcount> ttable, namely 17.77> 2.86 So, it can be concluded that this study can produce a problem-based learning module that is feasible on the rotational dynamics material and can also help improve students' problem-solving abilities. Excessive use of conventional pesticides will impact the environment and health. These negative impacts can be minimized with the knowledge of farmers about the use of chemical pesticides. This study aims to see the description and the relationship between the characteristics of farmers with farmers' knowledge of the use of chemical pesticides. The research sample was determined using the slovin formula, which obtained 90 respondents using the accidental sampling method. Data collection in the field used a questionnaire with the likert scale method to get a score from the characteristics and knowledge of the respondents. The analytical tool used to see the relationship between characteristics and respondents' knowledge is spearman rank correlation. The results showed that the characteristics of the respondents were age 31 to 45 years (38%), male sex (98%), education last high school (37%), land area < 0.5 ha (71%), work experience < 5 years (43%). The level of knowledge of red chili farmers in the Payakumbuh Sub-district is in the high category. Characteristics of respondents who have a relationship with farmers' knowledge are age with a significance of -0.247 and last education with a significance value of 0.302. Characteristics that have no association with farmers' knowledge are gender, land area and work experience. The results of this study indicate that the knowledge possessed by farmers in using chemical pesticides is already high, but it is necessary to improve the indicators of knowing product information.

Biology learning and teaching process become more challenging during the Covid-19 pandemic since it is done online. The learning outcomes of the biology lesson during online learning are important for students’ academic achievement. Motivation to learn biology and discipline of students are factors that can influence students’ learning outcomes during online learning. This study aims to determine the correlation between motivation to learn biology and discipline with students’ cognitive learning outcomes during online learning. The research was conducted in February to June 2021 using a descriptive quantitative method with correlational study technique. The sample used was 179 students of grade X MIPA who were selected through simple random sampling technique. The data was collected by survey technique using motivation to learn biology questionnaire, discipline in learning biology during online learning questionnaire, and multiple-choice tests of cognitive learning outcomes. The research results showed that there is a positive correlation between motivation to learn biology with students’ cognitive learning outcomes, a positive correlation between discipline in learning biology during online learning with students’ cognitive learning outcomes, and a positive correlation between motivation to learn biology and discipline in learning biology during online learning with students’ cognitive learning outcomes.

This study aims to test the suitability of educator accountant ethics with Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy of life. The method of literature study by harmonizing the concept of Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy of life with the Indonesian Accountant Code of Ethics. The type of data used comes from secondary data obtained from various print and digital literature. Data collection techniques are carried out using documentation. The data analysis method used in this study is a content analysis by checking between and rereading libraries. The results of this study show that the concept of Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy of life in the form of Trihayu is realized when the educator's accountant can maintain self-safety both soul and mind so that he will have strong integrity in his work, the Trisakti Jiwa concept is carried out in the form of developing creativity, creativity and being able to understand the sense of being able to build motivation for his work, Next concept Trilogy Leadership can take the form of providing a good example for prospective accountants later, and the last concept in the form of Tripantangan can prevent educator accountants from unethical actions, and the concept is by the Indonesian accountant code of ethics.

This study aims to analyze more deeply the impact of the MBKM program carried out by the Ministry of Education and Culture on improving student-teacher competence, and, at the same time, see the extent to which students understand the results and impact of students' potential development from the students' point of view. The type of research used is quantitative research with survey methods. Data collection techniques using a google form based questionnaire. The sample in this study were students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Djuanda University, which consisted of 3 study programs with a total of 504 students. The data is analyzed through several stages: organize, sort, group, code the data and categorize. The research findings showed that the MBKM program positively impacted student competency development, as evidenced by the results of the questionnaire analysis of student perceptions of MBKM by 80.3%. MPI study program students stated that there was an increase in competence and skills as a provision for work by 7%m, 47% said it was good, 40% said it was pretty good, and 7% said it was not good. PGSD study program students stated that 6% were excellent, 38% were good, and 52% were quite good. Meanwhile, the PBA study program students stated they were very good at 13%, 45% were good, 37% were quite good, and 5% were not good.

This study aims to identify various kinds of mnemonic techniques found in the literature study. This type of research uses a qualitative research type with a literature review type. This study analyzes twenty journal articles both nationally and internationally by searching from google scholar whose research results found the six highest mnemonic, the results include slow learners, namely acronyms, acrobatics (first letter), chungking, loci, rhyme and keywords. The purpose of the mnemonic technique is to help teachers in teaching students in elementary schools in the process of remembering and understanding learning.

This research and development research aimed to determine the feasibility and characteristics of the Testlet model assessment instrument integrated with the E-ujian website in measuring the Higher-order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of junior high school students. The researchers employed the 4D development model (define, design, develop and disseminate). However, the researchers conduct the development up to the develop stage. The research was conducted at a junior high school with 42 students as respondents. The researchers collected the data through test techniques, questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. This development research utilized the descriptive-quantitative data analysis method through characteristic tests, teacher and students’ questionnaire responses analysis, and analysis of students' HOTS profiles. The students’ HOTS profiles based on the assessment instrument were divided into 53 percent of students in the poor HOTS category, 31 percent of students in the low HOTS category, and 16 percent of students in the high HOTS category. Concluded that the assessment instrument developed was very feasible, with a percentage of 94 percent. The assessment instrument developed had the characteristics of valid, reliable, discriminatory, disproportionate, relevant, representative, impractical, and specific. The Testlet model assessment instrument development can be used as an alternative for the distance learning assessment during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menginternalisasikan konsep matematika materi geometri pada pola bangunan Masjid Al-Falah Jember dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada bangunan Masjid Jami’ Al-Falah Jember terdapat beberapa konsep matematika serta materi geometri di dalamnya. Konsep matematika yang ada pada Masjid Jami’ Al-Falah Jember yaitu setengah lingkaran, persegi, trapesium, lingkaran, belah ketupat, persegi panjang, dan juga segitiga. Materi geometri diantaranya adalah sifat transformasi geometri dilatasi dan refleksi. Konsep matematika yang terdapat pada Masjid Jami’ Al-Falah Jember dapat digunakan serta dimanfaatkan pendidik untuk memperkenalkan konsep matematika kepada siswa khususnya materi geometri tujuannya adalah supaya siswa lebih mudah memahami materi geometri melalui budaya lokal.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi segiempat melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 TNS. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah tipe penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hal ini terlihat dari hasil tes siklus I yang menunjukan bahwa sebanyak 5 siswa dengan presentasi 41,6% memperoleh nilai lebih dari atau sama dengan 65 (≥ 65). Pada siklus II hasil tes akhir yang diperoleh siswa menunjukan bahwa terdapat 8 siswa dengan presentasi 66,6% memperoleh nilai lebih dari atau sama dengan 65 (≥ 65). Berdasarkan ketuntasan pada siklus I dan siklus II, maka peningkatan yang terjadi dari siklus I ke siklus II adalah sebesar 25%.

Abstract : This studies start from the life of a gap in research that discusses the impact of work environment and training on employee performance. The discrepancy between the findings of the study and the existence of the phenomenon occurring in the company. The sample used in this research was 50 respondents who had a data collection method using a questionnaire. This research uses a quantitative method with non-probability sampling, and the sampling technique used is sampling jenuh / saturated sampling. The analysis used is the Frequency Test, Instrument Test by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents. For this research, the independent variables used include training and work environment. Referring to the results of the data obtained, it is concluded that the work environment and job training variables have a significant and positive influence on employee performance. Pengukuran Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG) adalah metode untuk mempelajari gambaran aktivitas listrik yang terekam di otak secara objektif. Berdasarkan beberapa riset terkait QEEG, gaya belajar ditunjukkan oleh adanya dominansi belahan/bagian otak tertentu yang akan mempengaruhi proses belajar. Guna meningkatkan ketercapaian intervensi EIBI, disusunlah suatu buku sebagai referensi guru dalam melakukan asesmen gaya belajar anak GSA yang mengadopsi pendekatan hasil pengukuran QEEG. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur kesesuaian komponen buku berdasarkan hasil validasi dari tenaga ahli. Komponen validasi buku pedoman ini, meliputi isi, konstruk dan bahasa (keterbacaan) dengan melibatkan tenaga ahli (validator) sebanyak 11 orang Kepala sekolah dan Guru SekolahLuar Biasa melalui proses Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Skala validitas yang digunakan ialah skala likert 5 poin. Poin 5 untuk indikator sangat tepat dan poin 1 untuk indikator sangat tidak tepat. Hasil analisis padaPercentage of Agreement (R) dan Cronbach's Alphauntuk validasi isi, yakni 4,13±0,28 (sangat valid), R=77% dan α = 0,940 (Excellent Reliability). Pada komponen validasi konstruk menunjukkan rerata 4.20 (sangat valid), R=75% dan α = 0,896 (Good Reliability). Lalu, pada validasi bahasa diperoleh 4,23±0,13 (sangat valid), R=75% dan α = 0,967 (Excellent Reliability). Jadi, disimpulkan bahwa buku sangat valid dan dapat diimplementasikan sebagai bahanreferensi asesmen gaya belajar GSA.

This study aims to measure the effect size of experimental research that focuses on the application of the blended learning model in science learning and measures students' scientific competence. The method in this study used a meta-analysis technique with a quantitative approach. We found 11 articles that matched the criteria with a range of 2015-2021 publication years from SINTA accredited national journals and reputable international journals. The data tabulation sheet was used as a research instrument containing criteria in the form of experimental and control groups by containing information on the number of samples, average, standard deviation, education level, country, type of control, and students' science skills. The data were analyzed using the openMEE application and it obtained a summary effect size of 0.861 so that it can be interpreted as being in the high category and it is assumed that blended learning is effective in improving students' science skills in the form of conceptual understanding, science process skills, critical thinking, and others. Blended learning can be recommended as learning that has the potential to be implemented in the current digital era and can be a reference for further researchers to develop blended learning models in science learning.

Mathematics and culture are two things that are closely related to the activities of daily human life. Because Mathematics is a form of culture that is integrated in all people's lives. This means that, in culture we can find various kinds of mathematical concepts called ethnomathematics. Shibori is a technique of manipulating cloth originating from Japan, to create patterns through a dyeing method that has been around since the 8th century. The patterns created in Shibori generally depict an asymmetrical shape. In the Shibori motif there are several mathematical elements, one of which is the Frieze Group pattern. The Frieze Group is a subgroup of a symmetry group that is constructed by translation in one direction. The Frieze pattern has 7 (seven) types of patterns consisting of isometric combinations and can be classified as cyclic or dihedral groups. This study is an ethnographic study, with exploration and documentation of Shibori. The data analysis technique chosen is interview, observation and documentation. The research subjects were Shibori fabric craftsmen in Tulungagung district, East Java. The purpose of this research is to further examine the cultural patterns of Shibori Traditional cloth into Frieze patterns, as a way to understand mathematics through culture. The results of the research conducted have shown that there are mathematical concepts (geometry) in the Shibori motif, namely the Frieze pattern F1, F2, F3, F5, F6, F7. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak. Kegiatan berbicara menggunakan media gambar yang bervariasi sehingga mampu memotivasi minat anak. Jenis penelitian dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan model Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Objek penelitian adalah kemampuan berbicara melalui media gambar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam observasi berupa lembar penilaian, untuk dokumentasi menggunakan kamera, dan wawancara menggunakan pedoman wawancara dengan guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak melalui media gambar di TK Plamboyan Mekar. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan rata-rata kemampuan berbicara anak pada Pratindakan sebesar 38,18%, meningkat menjadi 54% pada tindakan Siklus I, dan mencapai 84,18% pada tindakan Siklus II. Kemampuan berbicara anak mengalami peningkatan setelah peneliti memberikan tindakan yang dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan dan proses.

The limited variety of learning media will create various learning problems. One of the problems that arise is the lack of motivation to learn and low learning outcomes. These problems can be overcome by developing learning media integrated with technology such as web-based learning. This study aims to produce web-based learning using Google Sites on Heat and Temperature topics for high school students. The media development used the 4D model with the following stages: 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop. The design and development stages of the media involve experts who assess two aspects, namely material and media design. The average result of media expert's validation is "very feasible". The average effect of material expert validation is "feasible." Based on the validation results by experts, this media is feasible to be used as a learning medium that helps students learn Heat and Temperature topics. The weakness in this research was that the learning design on the developed media was not very relevant to the learning objectives and basic competencies. Researchers hope to develop a learning media with learning designs that are more relevant to learning objectives and basic competencies in the future.

Abstrak Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi menuntut guru untuk dapat mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, dibutuhkan ilmu bagi guru untuk mengelola pembelajaran. Guru tidak dapat mengelola pembelajaran dengan baik apabila tidak menguasai materi yang akan disampaikan. Kemampuan Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowledge (TPACK) yang menyatukan ketiga pengetahuan tersebut penting untuk dikuasai oleh guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan TPACK mahasiswa calon guru matematika pada mata kuliah Praktikum pembuatan Alat Peraga Matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Praktikum Pembuatan Alat Peraga Matematika. Instrumen utama pada penelitian ini yaitu peneliti sendiri dan instrumen pendukung yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dan wawancara yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Setiap pernyataan dan pertanyaan pada instrumen didasarkan pada setiap aspek TPACK. Subjek wawancara dipilih masing-masing satu mahasiswa yang memiliki skor tinggi, sedang dan rendah pada kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan TPACK mahasiswa calon guru matematika berada pada kategori baik dengan rata-rata 3.81. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa calon guru matematika telah memahami aspek-aspek pada kemampuan TPACK. Kata kunci: Alat Peraga; Calon Guru; TPACK. Abstract The rapid development of technology requires teachers to be able to integrate technology into the learning process. In addition, knowledge is needed for teachers to manage learning. Teachers cannot manage learning well if they do not master the material to be delivered. Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowledge (TPACK) capabilities that unite these three knowledges are important for teachers to master. This study aims to analyze and describe the TPACK ability of prospective mathematics teacher students in the practical course of making Mathematics Teaching Aids. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects in this study were students who took the Mathematics Teaching Aids Making Practicum course. The main instrument in this study is the researcher himself and the supporting instruments used are questionnaires and interviews which have been tested for validity and reliability. Every statement and question on the instrument is based on every aspect of TPACK. The interview subject was selected by one student each who had high, medium and low scores on the questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the TPACK ability of prospective mathematics teacher students is in the good category with an average of 3.81. This shows that the prospective mathematics teacher students have understood aspects of the TPACK ability. Keywords: Pre-service Teacher; Props; TPACK.

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational climate and culture on employee performance by mediating job satisfaction. This study includes quantitative research using a questionnaire in data collection. The population in this study were employees of a 3-star hotel in Malang. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling with consecutive sampling types and 146 respondents were selected according to the characteristics of the study. The data analysis technique uses SEM (Structural Equation Modeling, PLS). The study results indicate the two independent variables have different effects on the dependent variable, particularly organizational climate which affects employee performance, while organizational culture does not directly affect employee performance. The results of mediation testing show that job satisfaction provides a mediating role both on the influence of organizational climate and culture on employee performance. This study proposes that hotel management needs to continue to maintain a positive organizational climate and organizational culture so that employees can consider job satisfaction which has an impact on employee performance. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to detect fraudulent financial reporting in the property, real estate, and building construction sectors listed on the IDX based on the perspective of the fraud pentagon theory. The data collection technique used purposive sampling and data analysis using logistic regression. The results indicate that external pressure factors, ineffective monitoring, quality of external auditors, auditor turnover, rationalization proxied by auditor opinion, change of directors, and political connections affected FFR. Meanwhile, financial target factors, financial stability, institutional ownership, and the frequency of the appearance of the CEO image in the annual report do not affect FFR. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi kecurangan pelaporan keuangan pada sektor properti, real estate, dan konstruksi bangunan yang terdaftar di BEI berdasar perspektif teori fraud pentagon. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan analisis data menggunakan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor tekanan eksternal, pengawasan yang tidak efektif, kualitas auditor eksternal, pergantian auditor, rasionalisasi yang diproksikan dengan opini auditor, pergantian direksi, dan hubungan politik berpengaruh terhadap FFR. Sedangkan faktor target keuangan, stabilitas keuangan, kepemilikan institusional, dan frekuensi kemunculan gambar CEO dalam laporan tahunan tidak berpengaruh terhadap FFR.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesalahan konseptual dan prosedural siswa sekolah dasar dalam menggeneralisasi pola bilangan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VI SDN Juwet Kenongo Porong. Teknik typical sampling digunakan untuk memilih tiga subjek dari 24 siswa. Kategori pemilihan subjek didasarkan pada satu siswa yang memiliki tingkat pemecahan masalah paling tinggi, satu siswa yang memiliki tingkat pemecahan masalah sedang, dan satu siswa yang memiliki tingkat pemecahan masalah paling rendah. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes generalisasi pola bilangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan tingkat pemecahan masalah rendah dan sedang cenderung melakukan kesalahan konseptual. Sedangkan, siswa dengan tingkat pemecahan masalah tinggi cenderung hanya melakukan kesalahan prosedural. Hasil peneltian ini memberikan keyakinan bahwa siswa sekolah dasar mampu melakukan generalisasi pola bilangan dengan pendekatan pola figural atau gambar, meskipun dengan beberapa bentuk kesalahan konseptual maupun prosedural. Hal ini berimplikasi pada para pendidik atau akademisi untuk dapat meminimalisir kesalahan siswa sekolah dasar dalam menggeneralisasi pola, melalui stimulisasi pengajaran berbasis masalah yang tidak hanya bersifat pengetahuan prosedural, namun lebih bersifat pengetahuan konseptual.

Abstrak Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan profil literasi spasial siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal geometri berdasarkan tinjauan perbedaan gaya belajar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tiga siswa kelas VIII yang berkemampuan matematika tinggi dengan masing-masing gaya belajar visual, gaya belajar auditori, dan gaya belajar kinestetik. Instrumen pendukung pada penelitian ini adalah 1) angket gaya belajar; 2) tes kemampuan matematika; 3) tugas geometri; dan 4) pedoman wawancara. Hasil Penelitian ini adalah subjek dengan gaya belajar visual tergolong baik dalam domain visualisasi spasial dan penalaran spasial, tetapi lemah dalam komunikasi spasial. Subjek dengan gaya belajar auditori tergolong baik dalam visualisasi dan komunikasi spasial tetapi lemah pada penalaran spasial. Serta subjek gaya belajar kinestetik tergolong baik dalam komunikasi spasial tetapi lemah pada penalaran spasial. Kata kunci: gaya belajar; literasi spasial; geometri. Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe the profile of students spatial literacy in solving geometry problems based on a review of differences in learning styles. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were three grade VIII students who had high mathematical abilities with their respective visual learning styles, auditory learning styles, and kinesthetic learning styles. The supporting instruments in this study were 1) a learning style questionnaire; 2) math ability test; 3) geometry task; and 4) interview guide. The results of this study are subjects with visual learning styles classified as good in the domain of spatial visualization and spatial reasoning, but weak in spatial communication. Subjects with auditory learning style are good in visualization and spatial communication but weak in spatial reasoning. And the subject of kinesthetic learning styles is good in spatial communication but weak in spatial reasoning. Keywords: learning style; spatial literacy; geometry

This study aims to identify learning barriers of Sriwijaya University students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research was a survey. The subjects in this study were students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Sriwijaya University. The data collection technique used a questionnaire instrument that was distributed to respondents online using a google form. The results of the study showed that the learning barriers of Sriwijaya University students on internal factors amounted to 56.58%, while on external factors amounted to 55.12%. So, it can be concluded that the two factors of learning barriers are in the medium category.

Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain non-eksperimental menggunakan metode survey ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan pengaruh video pembelajaran terhadap hasil pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas yang ada di Kota Semarang dan untuk penarikan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling hingga didapatkan 237 responden. Berdasarkan analisis data, maka ditemukan bahwa video pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap hasil pembelajaran sebesar 50,4%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, di antara keempat indikator ini ada satu indikator yang tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil pembelajaran, yaitu kesesuaian media dengan pengguna. Selain itu variabel tidak berpengaruhnya kesesuaian media dengan pengguna memunculkan dugaan bahwa pendidik tidak memahami bahwasannya tidak semua subyek yang disampaikan akan efektif jika menggunakan video, apalagi pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani yang memang seharusnya banyak memerlukan aktivitas fisik di lapangan. Tentunya bagian ini sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya yaitu tidak semua materi pembelajaran yang disampaikan dapat dijadikan sebuah video, semata-mata subjek tertentu yang dapat digunakan untuk video sebagai daya upaya pembelajarannya.

Kewirausahaan sering dianggap sebagai matakuliah yang hanya cocok untuk mahasiswa ekonomi dan bisnis, tetapi tidak untuk mahasiswa pendidikan. Ada kekhawatiran yang berkembang dalam masyarakat bahwa mahasiswa pendidikan tidak mempunyai prospek pekerjaan lulusan yang menjanjikan. Disisi lain, mahasiswa ini dianggap memilliki perspektif bisnis yang sempit dan bukan pencipta lapangan kerja. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya universitas untuk memperkenalkan matakuliah kewirausahaan pada mahasiswa pendidikan. Penelitian ini akan fokus pada pengukuran minat mahasiswa untuk berwirasusaha dengan penekanan khusus pada bagaimana pendidikan kewirausahaan ini dapat dipromosikan untuk mahasiswa pendidikan. Penelitian ini juga berusaha mengidentifikasi sejumlah program yang dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa dalam program kewirausahaan. Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Malang dipilih sebagai partisipan dalam penelitian survei internet ini. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan jumlah pernyataan sebanyak 20 item menggunakan skala Likert 5-point. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa pendidikan memiliki minat yang tinggi untuk belajar dan mempersiapkan diri untuk berwirausaha. Project-based learning (PjBL) was one of the learning strategies that can develop students' scientific skills in the 21st century. This study used a qualitative approach by analyzing several articles published in biology education journals in Indonesia from 2015–2022, focusing on studying the implementation of project-based learning on biological materials. The current study reveals that there has been a decline in the number of publications over the past four years. Among these studies, the dominant research design is quantitative. In addition, high school students and environmental content were the most targeted subjects and content, respectively. ANOVA and tests are the most commonly used data analysis techniques and instruments. Meanwhile, the most widely measured skills as learning outcomes are critical and creative thinking. Based on what this study found, a number of suggestions have been made to do more research on PjBL and to test other 21st century skills. This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills in the Mathematics Education Major through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Approach. The research method used is Class Action Research according to Kemmis and Mc Taggart which consists of four stages, namely plan, action, observe, and reflect. This research consists of two cycles with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The results showed that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach can improve students' critical thinking skills. This increase can be seen from the results of student activities that have increased from the first cycle to the second cycle. The increase was apparent from the results of observations of meeting 1 and meeting 2 in the first series of 83.5% and 87.5%, which increased to 86% and 93% in the second cycle. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Etnomatematika merupakan salah satu jembatan yang menggabungkan matematika dan budaya yang bermakna konstektual untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan sistem pengetahuan budaya Bromo Tengger, sistem peralatan hidup dan teknologi budaya Bromo Tengger, serta literasi matematis budaya Bromo Tengger dalam perspektif etnomatematika. Penelitian merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi masyarakat Bromo Tengger, wawancara oleh perangkat desa, dukun, dan pengrajin batik tengger, dan dokumentasi pada daerah Bromo Tengger. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi, dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data yakni: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada sistem pengetahuan yang ada di Bromo terdapat konsep matematika barisan aritmetika, penggunaan modulo, dan geometri. Pada sistem peralatan hidup dan teknologi terdapat konsep matematika geometri dan konsep transformasi geometri pada batik yang ada di Desa Ngadas. Literasi matematis yang memenuhi adalah aspek berupa ruang dan bentuk (space and shape) dan kuantitas (quantity). Konteks yang yang terdapat dalam Budaya Bromo Tengger yaitu konteks sosial dan konteks ilmiah Sehingga, pada budaya Bromo Tengger memenuhi aspek literasi matematis dalam perspektif etnomatematika.

This research was conducted to evaluate the management program in English village, maintain the implemented program, and increase program quality. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative and quantitative research. The model evaluation used was CIRO (Context, Input, Reaction, and Outcome) by War, Bird, and Rackman. The subject of this research were 30 students, four tutors, and a program director. Interview, survey, and observation were used for collecting the data. The analyzed quantitative data used descriptive percentages, and qualitative data used condensation, data exposure, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results of this study show that (1) context in this study considered to participant needed which synchronized to the standard implementation of the TOEFL real test and national standard. (2) input has been provided and is well prepared, including program plan, tutor qualification, for admission of course participants, and facilities. (3) Reaction of the participants' satisfaction was in the satisfactory category, and the participant's assessment reaction of the TOEFL program implementation process was in the very good category. (4) Outcome obtained by course participants in the TOEFL scoring has not increased significantly; it has even decreased during the last test.

Background: Rational prescribing is an important skill for medical doctors. Many graduates still feel insufficiently prepared to make rational prescribing and fail to demonstrate the related clinical reasoning after graduation. For these reasons, it is important to improve the medical student teaching of rational prescribing. The aim of this study is proving the effectiveness of experiential learning methods to improve rational prescribing skills of medical students. Methods: This study used a one-group pretest-posttest design. Rational prescribing courses use experiential learning methods for 6 year medical students. Every student provided evaluation of rational prescribing and clinical reasoning through pretest and posttest, and we analyzed the results by paired t test. Results: The change in the rational prescribing skill of the students is significant between pretest and posttest. However, in the hypertension case the scores are not significant between pretest and posttest. Also, the scores of clinical reasoning based on drug interaction and evidence based methods are not significant in the hypertension and otitis media cases. Conclusions: Experiential learning methods can enhance rational prescribing skill in medical students but the students were still not able to choose appropriate medications based on drug interaction and evidence based approach.

INDONESIA READING MOVEMENT TECHNICAL GUIDANCE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN DELI SERDANG REGENCY. Since 2015, the government of Indonesia has accelerated Indonesia Literacy Movement. However the effectiveness of this program wasnot reflected in the results of students’ PISA test result in 2018. In attempt to the improvement of this program, the volunteers decided to carry out a technical guidance to increase the reading literacy of primary school teachers in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatera. This voluntarily activity aimed to share the knowledge and best practice of fun and interactive reading. 40 primary school teachers from two state schools were involved in this community service program. İn the beginning, they had to complete the pre-test. Then, they were given a workshop about how to perform fun reading and created their own best practice. The result of their work were presented in front of the other groups and at last they completed the post-test. As the result of this activity, there was a significant increase on the teachers’ knowledge about fun reading and Indonesia Reading Movement based on the pre-test and post-test. İn addition, the teachers were able to produce their own fun reading activities based on their interests through Uniterrupted Sustained Silent Reading (USSR) Journal and Reading Pyramid.
